Hi,
I have health insurance from UIIC, when i was met with an accident and hospitalized, i started a cashless procedure with them, at the time of discharge they rejected my claim saying that the hospital is not covered. seriously this stupid people does not know that before starting the procedure they need to first see if the hospital is covered or not.
Later i paid and send them the original documents, after some 25 days i get a list of queries, fine, i got all they wanted and i got a message that within 7 days my claim will be processed, after 2 weeks when i inquired about my claim they said a query was raised, they should have informed me about the query, however they will just stop the procedure and wait for you to ask them, they will raise silly quires like "Kindly provide the certificate to condone the delay in intimation of claim", this when i inquired with them they said that the letter which stats that the original document was provided to them after hospitalization, due to cashless procedure, they need it from UIIC, i was socked by this, as this wasted my 2 weeks and they did not resolve this internal query between UIIC and E-Meditek.
After all this also, once they ran out of queries they started rejecting my cancelled cheque, what the heck, they will give you most silly reason and delay the process, so that you only quit off.

Never Never go for UIIC for any kind of insurance, they will only take your premium and never settle the claim.

      As mentioned above though I have contacted several times through telephone [protected] and [protected] regarding release of my claim it is not done so far. More over it takes too much of time to contact on the above numbers some time it takes days together to contact seem we had a mistake by taking insurance from your company. The car is on my wife's name Sarita Satapathy.
      as I came to know the approval has already done on 28.07.16. Do not know why it is taking so much time for releasing money.

        I am a pensioner of State Bank of India and insured with UIIC - medical scheme. In-spite of repeated requests I am yet to get my ecard and other policy particulars from UIIC. My claims dated 30.07.2016 are getting returned on 22.08.2016 indirectly indicating I have to freshly submit in the prescribed format along with policy number, TPA number, certificate number, etc; and asking me to contact Mr. Dinesh mobile number [protected]. When contacted I am getting this number as out of order and hence contacted land-line numbers of SBIZO who asked me me to contact Ms. Sittara o[censored]IIC - mobile number [protected] might have informed this particulars to me. I tried this number several times on 22.08.2016 which she never picked up. Previously also about 45 days back I tried this number to get ecard and other particulars which she never picked up.

        How we can get their service utilized fairly if one of the given number is out of order and the number holder is used to not to attend the calls, if we call for more than 4 times and also not replying to sms sent in this regard.

          With reference to the above captioned matter we would like to inform you that we have submitted the claim to United India Insurance company with claim no DHS16Z062606 of Ronak B Mirani on 18/05/16.Policy no 500100/48/15/41/00000437 again and again they are raising query & finally query received by them on 09/07/16.
          But still the claim is under process we have called to customer care they are unable to reply us, they have given the no. Of Dr Milap again they informed us to contact Baroda helpdesk by email we email to everyone but till date we haven't got any reply from them., as all the details are with them 28 days passed after getting all documents but still the status is under process.
          So requesting you to kindly look into the matter on urgent basis and settle the claim at an earliest as already it has been delayed.

            I have a mediclaim insurance with erricson insurance TPA - United india. My policy number is [protected]P[protected]. I have submitted a midcal bill for 1. 25 lacs in the month of march 16 . Till date the bill is not settled and I have not received the money. In ericson website the claim status showing as - claim settled and bill prepared for 95051/-. I am been following up with the company but there is no response. pls. help. regds/
            Such worst service. The company is not responding to any mail or phone quarries. Just playing with customer money.

I have purchased a mediclaim policy from bank which amount is 8275 at 31/05/2016. At 08/06/2016, Mr. Gaurav from UIICO called me please send DD of amount 36 rupees in favour o[censored]IICO. I send those amount DD at 09/06/2016. But policy number is not received at my registered mobile number-[protected].This company service is very poor. I have doubt in my mind that this company will not give hospital facility properly. Please take action as soon as possible and give me proper information at my email [protected]@gmail.com.

                    Sir,

                    I was suffering from difficulty in breathing, uneasiness in chest, severe headache, feeing like my head is going to blast-of, difficulty in doing any task etc. Due to heart problem.

                    I consulted coordonator and head – department of cardiology, holy family hospital, new delhi on 4th april, 2016 and advised to undergo angiogram for detail investigation of my disease. After angiogram on 5th april, 2016, he advised me to immediately undergo cardio artery bypass grafting surgery (Cabg).

                    I was admitted to national heart institute on 6th april, 2016 and underwent cabg on 7th april, 2016, discharged on 13th april, 2016 and recovering.

                    I have submitted my claim to tpa east west assist by special messenger on their sainik farm office on 19th april, 2016. They assured me that the claim will be settled with 20 days from above date. After completion of 20 days i have not received the reimbursement of expenses incurred by me on my treatment. Thereafter i contacted the tpa innumerable times and registered my complaint and sent a number of emails for which no replay was received from them. Every time i call on their representative over phone, the person attending the phone told me that it is under process. When i insisted for the reason for such long delay, they have no reply to offer.

                    I opted for economy class for my treatment and paid the cost of operation through credit cards and borrowing money from various sources for which i am paying hefty interest. I am also spending huge amounts for post-operative case treatment also. I do not know to whom i have to approach for reimbursement from the tpa.

                    I am in great financial difficulty in repaying the money borrowed and interest thereon. The claim i submitted to the tpa, the documentary proof regarding payment of cost of treatment through credit card was very much available. If your good self needs proof for this, i am ready to provide the same.

                    I, therefore, humbly request your good self to kindly look into the matter and ask your inefficient tpa to settle my claim instead of harassing me. I am going through mental and physical stress due to above. Hope your good self will intervene and help me in solving my difficulties as mentioned above.

                      I've taken an insurance from united india insurance company for my bike which has been stolen. I raised a claim i. E [protected]c[protected]... Policy no [protected]p[protected]. Which company closed starting the reason no document received. Wherein i have submitted almost all the documents instead o[censored]ntraceable report which i could not get on time from police. When i received a call from insurance company. I clearly informed them that it will take some time to share the untraceable report. Later when i received the traceable report i visited the insurance office. There i came to know that file has been closed an they are not ready to reopen it. Not even listening to our problem. I am attaching the documents here. If someone receiving this complain. Kindly help me in getting the resolution.

                        The above my Tata Sky connection is already deactivated in the month of April 2016. Reasons are a lots for which I have no words and time to waste.
                        The market was open for me to purchase a best and cheapest cable so I purchased one of them and enjoying it on my T.V. Your Dish Antina and Set Up Box is rooted out from my house and given it to a KABADI due to mistakes of your few representatives out those two names are in my mind. One is " Sri. V.K.Singh who added one non consented programme in my cable costing additional Rs.300/ on 29/04 /2016 at 5.31P.M. While inquired I was informed by one of your other Representative Sri. Jaspal Singh to pay Rs.593/ approx, inliue of Rs.270, otherwise my cable will be deactivated and very next day it was deactivated.
                        Let it be deactivated forever because I have the last and least intrest in your TATA SKY.
                        Today I received again a message from your end for REACTIVATION after paying Rs 700/ for which I am not interested. So you are humbly requested to stop sending any message related to TATA SKY because I am no more with you forever.

                          I am an sbi executive pensioner drawing my pension from sbi badasankha of puri (Odisha) branch, code # 06944. My pf no. Is 0916625.
                          I purchased the family floater group mediclaim insurance policy of retired employees of sbi (Policy - b) on 29.03.2016 at the afore-said branch, paying the required premium of rs 5925/- for rs 300000/- coverage.Incidentally, my transaction id is 53113592.
                          My application with the copy of transaction sheet was delivered to the chief manager, z. O. Bhubaneswar on 31.03.2016 which was entered there in serial no. 908 and was sent to the united india insurance company ltd. Through tpa on 01.04.2016.
                          The problem, now, is that my repeated efforts and interactions with tpa have yielded no result in locating my application. After a lapse of 55 days, the uiic has failed to send health id cards of me and my wife. They have neither emailed me not sent any sms so far, though my mobile no. Is with them. Many employee applied for the insurance days after m have already received their id cards, but my data base is not ready as unline status on enquiry shows as no payment being received in any such account and my apf number is invalid. For your information, my pf number is correct and it was duly scrutinised by the sbi authorities before submission of my application. This is the worst service from any organisation i have ever come across.

                          More than anything else, i need my policy health card urgently in view of my impending eye surgery at shankar netralaya, chennai and my, own, treatment at apollo hospital, chennai.

                          It will be of great help and relief to me if the uiic immediately acknowledges the receipt and sends me e-icards, pending sending of id cards, so that i can undertake early treatment because delaying treatment may worsen the disease and complications.

                            This is to inform you of the great inconvenience felt by me for want of claim to-wards repair of ctv against my house hold policy no.[protected]p[protected]Valid from[protected] to[protected].

                            That, my samsung tv which is under breakdown coverage under house hold policy no. Sited above got collapsed on 31-01-'16 and i immediately lodged complain to samsung service centre vide service order no.[protected] dt. 01-02-'16.

                            That, i gave information to branch manager, united india insurance co.Ltd., kalyani branch vide my letter dt.2nd.Feb.'16 seeking his co-ordination please.

                            That, after completion of repair work, i submit the final claim on 5th.Feb.'16 along with cash receipt no.3872 of digital services(Exclusive samsung service centre) for rs.289=00 only and also submit the damaged spare parts as directed by the branch manager.

                            That, astonishingly your branch manager discouraging me of getting the claim "causing unknown depreciation of the tv" which is under breakdown coverage. But at the time of renewing the policy no such demotivating factors came; moreover is there any scope to run any old/new breakdown tv by replacing the damaged parts with lower quality spare parts.?

                            That, even after knowing the entire fact, now the branch manager sending letters with a demand of engineering report, though service centre's cash receipt with all information retains with him.

                            That, for your further information i received rs.265=00 only towards repair of my the then philips ctv on 6th.Aug.1999 against united india policy no.30401/48/31/1/419/98 without any such prolonged harassment.

                            Hence, may i request you to go through the whole thing ; though my claim may be too small to knock to your authority but let me have my satisfaction of discharging the matter with a view of your attention over the quality assistance of restoring the customer satisfaction.

                              I ramadhar aged about 69 years ex. Sail employee have taken a mediclaim policy o[censored]nited india insurance company ltd. Through e-meditek. I was suffering from back pain and left thigh pain. My treatment was going on at bokaro general hospital at jharkhand. Dr. Anand (Bokaro general hospital) adviced for a surgery but i went to vellor for second opinion at cmc.
                              I meet doctor and doctor told me to admit. I admitted on 11.02.2016. Doctor came and checked. They asked the history and start the treatment. There they told me no need of surgery and did some exercise. On 15.02.2016 they discharged me and wrote some medicines for 3 months.
                              Total bill was rs. 20675. I came back to bokaro my home town and claimed on 22.02.2016 for rs.20675. I have submitted all original receipt, discharge summary, lab reports. I went to e-meditek branch in bokaro where i claimed on 31.03.2016 to know my claim status there i found that my claim was rejected. When i try to know the reason the worker told me don't worry i will try my best. He asked me to write a letter. I gave a letter to him and he mailed it. Then he said after 4 or 5 days claim should be sanctioned. But claim has been not sanctioned so far.
                              If they have any confusion they should talk to doctors (Contact no. On discharge summary). But they trejected my claim.
                              I hope, you will support to me as you done previously...

                                I have paid premium of my mother's health insurance since 2 year.on 20th of june, 2016 my mother had hospitalized due to some serious condition.

                                Our TPA told me for reimbursement & i have paid all payment in cash & send all docs as required to TPA now insurance company Denied this and TPA mail me that as per Indoor case papers it is seen that the patient was treated with oral medication.
                                however i provide treating doctors justification latter as required by insurance company they not refund my such hospitalize bills payment.

                                Please suggest me, I want to file a consumer case of not for the same.

                                  Query in details : provide the copy of certificate of registration of hospital with central or state govt.
                                  The hospital in case is well known in gujarat region established before 50 (Fifty ) years and having registration number. But the problem is the hospital is unable to give the copy of registration certificate as same is not available with them at now. Reimbursement of my claim is held up due to this reason. Please do the needful for reimbursement to help the senior citizen and oblige.

                                  I have United India Arogya Raksha Policy. Medicare TPA Id=03I00748017Y I have submitted 2 claims. (1) Rs.264876 (SURAT). (2) Rs.267663 (BOMBAY HOSPITAL). But since 2 months have passed, I have not received a single rupee.

                                    I have deposited my Royal Enfield bike at workshop on 7/03/16. On 6/03/16 I had an accident, workshop has ready my bike on 12/03/16. My policy no- [protected]P[protected]. Till date no result from surveyor.

                                    First of all go the the insurance company from where you have got your insurance done. Speak to the head boss there I my self an irda license holder for non life insurance. And guiding you in this regard. Please go there and ask the company to appoint a new surveyer as the person who has been appointed is a busy man and has no time to attend my case. Hence please grant me a new surveyer. I hope this will do the job and you will get insurance calculated and not much of a burden

                                    I had similar case for my Royal Enfield. the surveyor took all original bill on 23rd March and he did not submit yet for the claim.

We received a inland letter card from E-MEDITEK regarding this policy. In this letter policy no., valid from, valid up to, age etc . all are wrong mentioned. We have a feedback on site of [protected]@emeditek.com but there is no response from the site. You are requested to correct the said details in cards and send it again to our address in shape of laminated cards as you sent earlier years as soon as possible.                                       My car rj32ca2933 got accident on 8mar 2016 and i put my car in Chevrolet workshop on 10 march abd given intimation to your jhunjhunu branch but today 3 may 2016 your servear is not responding properly and they are not relising the d o amount so i can get my car.
                                      plz resolve my problem 2 months gone till today.

                                        I had applied for my mediclaim insurance on 20th October, 2015 for an amount of Rs. 50441. However, I was granted a claim of only Rs. 46294. I was given no details on the basis of deduction of amount from my claim. On further inquiry, I was informed that the claim was reduced as the anesthesia bill and consumables were not covered under the claim as per policy. (Response to complaint no. PG[protected] dated 17/11/2015). My particular grievance is solely in relation to the amount deducted for the claim on the anesthesia amount. The auto-generated reply informed me that the amount was deducted under clause 1.2C of the Policy. Clause 1.2C of the Policy claims that the anesthesia bill would not be granted if it is not included in the hospital bill. However, that is not the situation in this case. To satisfy that particular clause of the policy, I had specifically attached the letter of the hospital signed by my doctor which specifically says that I received the anesthesia while at the hospital in relation to the concerned surgery. Therefore, it does not seem feasible to me that my claim is deducted on this ground for two reasons. Firstly, I have satisfied the requirement of the anesthesia being a part of the hospital bill by providing the letter. Secondly, even if it is assumed that the letter does not fulfill your requirement, the clause in the agreement is wholly arbitrary and there is no basis for such a clause because the link between the hospitalisation and the anesthesia is fulfilled by providing of the letter.
