Urban Company — carpenter service

I booked carpenter service on urbanclap on 28-apr-19 and was assigned ranjaya sharma, who visited my home on the same day.
He inspected the tv cabinet (For glass door replacement) and said it will cost rs 1800/- to put a new glass. I felt its too high a charge and asked him to reduce. After lot of discussion he agreed for rs 1600/- which itself was high, since i had earlier replaced it for rs. 600/-. He asked for rs. 1000/- advance for material and left, saying he will come back the next day.
Next day monday (29-apr), when i called he said it will take more time and he will come and fit it on wednesday (1-may). Days went by but he didn't come. I called again and he stopped picking up my phone. I reached out to the company urbanclap and they assured that they will complete the job but nothing happened. I followed-up till 7-may and then i had to leave for work abroad.
After returning i've tried contacting both ranjaya (The assigned person) and urbanclap but there is no response.
Not only has the person fled with the rs. 1000/-, there is no accountability from urbanclap who took the service request and claims of superior customer service in all its advertisement. Extremely poor service and i want to be compensated for the harassment faced due to this unprofessional behavior.
