[Resolved] Urban Company — Improper AC repair and Charging for Items not actually requiring replacement | |
Friends this is to inform regarding cheats and poor quality of AC Technicians o[censored]rban Company and response to complaints I had got 2 AC repaired & Serviced and another 2 AC only serviced from Urban Company on 30 May. and paid a total of Rs 10, 635 that day.. My Daikin AC used to make sound occasionally. The Urban Company person Mohammad told me Gas of my Daikin AC had leaked, Motor was faulty and also Capacitor/Condensor was faulty. I questioned him how 3 different things can be faulty at same time as makes no sense as one fault is enough for AC to not be working. However I had no choice but to agree. Paid Rs 5500 /- for New Motor and Gas.Person replaced parts but could see that he had no knowledge of repair of Daikin AC and was asking on phone from someone how to connect wiring. After that he told me that my other LG AC which was not cooling was otherwise Ok and only needed gas refilling for which he charged nearly 4000 Rs for gas filling. At night when actually used ACs I found LG AC not cooling again and also Daikin AC occasionally cooling and sound coming as used to happen before repair. I called customer care and revisit was fixed on 31 May 5:00 PM. However no one came and I got a message that Booking Cancelled as Technician intimated revisit cancelled by Customer. Fact was that neither person called me nor anyone in Urban Clap and I had never cancelled. Next day I spoke to Customer care Sarfaraz and when he took Technician on line he agreed to have lied and said he would come after 2 days as Sister marriage. Sarfaraz convinced him for next day to which he agreed. However inspite of that no one came next day ( 01 Jun). After again calling customer care a day later on 03 Jun a lady from Customer care took him on line and fixed up time for 9:00 AM on 04 Jun. Again he did not come at 9:00 AM but came later at 1:00 PM. Unluckily light was not there and I told him I would call when light came. From 3 pm onwards I made many calls on 04 Jun but he did not pick up phone. Though I paid Rs 10, 635 /- and more than one week had passed but my ACs has not been repaired forcing me to run after Urban Clap. Thereafter for many days I kept putting request in App and sending mail to Customer care but no one bothered to contact. I finally had to get both ACs repaired from outside last week. Surprisingly in Daikin AC the motor was found not defective and same motor which was removed by Urban Company person has been put back. Motor provided by Urban Company person is lying unused with me. Also it was found that Fan connection had been done wrong by him and fan rotating in opposite direction. AC is running fine now. Regarding LG AC the actual fault was condenser faulty and same changed. AC running fine now. It also shows that unnecessary cost for spares was charged to me. Besides wrong charging no one was bothered to resolve my problems or refund the money. Was this information helpful? | |
