Urban Company — Painting services - the worst experience ever

I had booked the house painting services from UC. A surveyor came and provided me the cost estimate and the advance payable. I paid the advance online immediately. Work was supposed to start from 30 Nov 2020. No one turned up. I was assured that work would start from 01 Dec, as there was some internal issue at UC. No one turned up on 01 Dec as well. I was told someone will definitely come on 02-Dec. Again no show. After escalation, still there is no resolution, neither is the advance amount being refunded so that I can get the work done from elsewhere. Please avoid Urban company as they are most unreliable.
