Urban Company — Service booking cancelled/No refund of booking amount

I booked the house-cleaning service offered by Urban Company on 18 July, 2022. The cleaning was to be done on 20 July, 2022. I pressed the time slot at 8.30 am and paid the booking amount Rs. 499/-
On 20 July, at 7.30 am, , I got a call from a guy who asked for my number - yes, he asked for my mobile number while making a call to me - and asked for the address and landmarks. I gave these to him.
At 8.30 am no one turned up for work. I waited in the living room with my door open to let them in. I waited till 9.20 and sent a complaint on e-mail to Urban Company.
There were a flurry of calls following this. One of them said the guys were standing at the building gate and calling me. I live on the first floor. I asked them why they did not come to my door and ring the bell. There was no answer to that question. I said my door was open at 8.30 am and I was sitting there.
Soon, an electronic voice told me my booking was cancelled. Fine, I wasn't going to use their services anyway since I had given them 3 hours at the end of which I had to go out.
I sent a mail asking them to refund the booking amount, since I have no intention o[censored]sing their services anymore. This is the second time that Urban Company has defaulted on the timing. The last time, some months ago, the men not only came late, but started negotiating with the work they would do even before entering the apartment.
At that time, I had told the company that their business model was based on the assumption that the service conditions were non-negotiable.
Now, I would like Urban Company to return my booking amount of Rs. 499/- Thanks.

I am still awaiting the refund of the booking amount of Rs. 499/- For me every penny counts. Please return the money since no service was rendered on 20 July starting at 8.30 am. Thanks.

My first complaint was 8 days ago on 21 July, 2022. I am yet to get the refund of the booking amount of Rs. 499/-. No service was rendered by Urban Company. Is this how Urban Company makes money?
