I registered for Urbanclap services 4-5 years back with Rs 300 annual membership to avail a 10% discount on all my bookings. My Plus Membership expires on 21st May 2022. The first few services were offered well. But, since April 2021, the time I have relocated to Hyderabad, I am constantly facing issues in making bookings and getting professionals of my choice. For every service that I selected, it showed an error saying - professionals registered under this category are not allowed to book this service or the booking automatically gets diverted to another professional, in spite of the availability of my choice of professional.
Also, in one of my last bookings made on 6th feb, 2022, I had to go through immense mental and physical trauma because of their salon professional. And all this, because I highlighted her mistakes upon visit to my place and told her that i will mention all this in her feedback on the app. Since then, I am unable to make any bookings and this company only kept reflecting the error, upon my attempts to make bookings, post 6th feb.
I tried to reach out to their customer care number multiple times - which is never reachable or in working condition. Their toll free number, when called, doesn't exist.
but, luckily, their customer support team called me today and when asked about the issue, I was told that my account has been blocked since 6th feb. They never sent any email regarding blocking of my account and nobody even tried to reach me out from the company to tell me that "We can't take your bookings as your account is blocked".
There is no point in making the customer pay for annual membership if you do want to allow them to avail future services! Was this information helpful? |
