Hi, This is my first experience with Urban Company. I had booked in for CLASSIC DEEP CLEANING for my Bathroom after seeing the services @ my Mother's home in Chennai. Unfortunately, the services turned out to be the worst experience. The Professional had not cleaned the windows, the fittings and fixtures, the door, the stains on the tiles remain as is. Proper cleaning materials weren't used and there is no difference before and after the services. In a way my house keeping lady would have done a better job than him. On requesting him to clean properly, the very first statement was, "Cancel the booking". I am not sure if I would be availing further services with Urban as MY FIRST EXPERIENCE TURNED OUT TO BE A NIGHTMARE.

Looking forward for you to arrange a service personal who could provide me with a better service for what I have paid for.

    Since last 2-3 weeks, I have been suffering here on UrbanCompany, have been booked hair styling services and disinfection services, both the bookings has been cancelled and they initially refunded the amount and on the same time they deducted the amount by defining it as expired. Urbancompany support team officials are very unprofessional, always denied to resolve my issue, now I don’t have any option other than escalating the concern towards consumer forum. They have been harrassing me like this way, and looting my hard earned money like this way by deducting the refund amount all of sudden by showing as expired. Also they are not fulfilling the bookings, their professionals are like to rule the users, they gonna cancel all of a sudden just 4-5 hours before the service. Many cases they don’t even respond after even the booking time passed.

        I have availed the plumber service on Jan 29th.The plumber was not at all doing the work properly.He was giving answers simply for all the issues.There was a water leakage in the new mixer set.He told it ll stop in a day or two.I don't know whether there is some AI in the mixer set which will fix the issue automatically. Then i requested for revisit through the app on 31st Jan.The plumber called me and ask me to cancel the revisit request and told me that he will come and fix it.He dint come.So again I raised a revisit request for Feb 25th.He called me and told to cancel it.But I dint.He came in 28th only after 4 days from the requested date.He broke the complete mixer set itself. I raised the issue with the urban company team on March 2nd still I dint get any solution for this issue.One important thing I want to bring it here.Urban company added me and the same plumber in a call The plumber started talking rude infront of the service team itself.The service team doesn't understand anything because the plumber talked in local language.He talked very rude and asked me why I dint call his personal number.This is one of the very bad service from urban company.What if the plumber comes to my home and threatens my family now.Urban company should be reasonable for anything happens going forward.I have all the proof with me.

          Urban company or scam company
          I had booked deep clean ac service for 8 acs in home at kanpur. The technician refused to deep clean, just washed ac with a bucket water and told me that he has to leave and will come the next day, but he did not and to my surprise closed the job by writing job done.

          I complained in the app...and that guy came after 4 days. He once again did one ac...same style water bucket..no foam used as shown in the adds and on app...he said we do only like this and rushed from my home. I complained again and they apologised and sent some senior technician to service the ac. But without ending to the misery, the mechanic was stopped from working at my home by his seniors as he would charge the company for servicing the ac for which the company has taken huge sum of money...he waited for hours...one called to do it...other called to stop...eventually he went back without doing anything. I complained and they could not answer...the job is still open...money was paid...i feel cheated and humiliated...it’s a fraud company with all company employee carrying out a nexus of looting people.soon going to file a f.i.r against the company and employees.

          I request all to refrain from taking their service else you will feel cheated the same way they did with me. I am sharing my page of job which still shows work open and my complaint open.

            Firstly, technician from Urban Company didn't inform me that if he repairs my fridge, the company (LG) warranty would be null and void, which is very unprofessional.

            Secondly, when he "repaired" my fridge, it broke down in a couple of days. So, I requested a revisit. This time the fridge worked fine for a few weeks then broke again. This entire process happened a couple of more times.

            At this time, my fridge is not working, so I called the technician again. He told me blatantly that now I have to take it up with LG, as he is not able to repair it.

            So, I called up LG, and a technician from LG visited. He looked at the fridge and said that whoever tried to "repair" it simply ruined the internal circuitry and damaged everything. And now I am not covered with a 10 year compressor and smart inverter warranty because o[censored]rban Company technicians, and have a dysfunctional fridge that Urban Company couldn't repair.

            I need Urban Company to either repair my fridge within the next 48 hours, or buy me a new fridge, or I will take this up to the consumer court for malpractice and neglect. Also, there are no customer care numbers, which is shady!

              Problem is not resolved in fraud way it is closed soon i go to labour court for this cheating.
              No one contact me . I submit application of this fraudulent activity and harrasment to consumer court . You harass me and wasted my time . If there is no trainer available then why you book slot.

                Urban Company professional took my TV for display issue on 17 Feb and never came back on the status. After 5 days I followed it up with him and he sai he will deliver next day.

                However to my surprise he didn't deliver and again I followed it up on the next day then he said the TV Mother boad had issue and it is not working. I was shocked to hear that. He neither promptly updated the status to me nor rectified the issue.

                So I asked him to return the TV without any repair. But still today he did not return. I contacted Urban Company several times and there was no response. I sent a mail to them for that also no proper response. I am not sure what to do.

                  Dear Sir,

                  On Jan 22, 2022 I booked for a plumber through Urban Company to replace the external drain pipes running close to 90 feet.

                  Urban Company deputed one Mr. Mohammed Khizer ([protected]) who initially quoted Rs. 27, 000/- towards laying and labour charges only (excluding material) by –

                  a. laying concrete bed under the pipeline

                  b. cement finish (astarkari) for all the man-holes (internal and external areas)

                  c. to reuse the debris back on the pipelines and its sides

                  d. do level finishing with concrete on the debris to the required ground level

                  It may please be noted that while we occupy the entire ground floor, the first floor with two tenants were requested to stay elsewhere for about 3 days, as there should NOT be flow of water or other wastes when they are at work and again for then 48 hours once the new pipeline is laid, which was as per Md. Khaizer’s instructions.

                  Upon back and forth negotiations he finally agreed for Rs. 18, 000/- towards laying and labour charges and asked me to pay Rs. 99/- online for having booked through Urban Company, which I paid through google pay (receipt attached). He then gave a list of materials to be procured, which I did by spending Rs. 40, 000/- plus.

                  On 24/1/2022 he insisted that I pay Rs. 2, 000/- as advance towards getting equipment on rental basis, which I paid through google pay (receipt attached).

                  On 25/1/2022, he came along with 4 of his accomplices and started the work. After some time I was shocked to see that he did not put concrete bed under the pipeline, which was earlier agreed to by him (pics attached). When I asked him he said since we are using the red/chemical pipes, the concrete bed is not required and he did not listen to me at all.

                  Then, I saw him NOT doing any cement finish work (astarkari) for external areas to any of the man-holes, which was earlier agreed by him to do the astarkari work for both internal and external areas of all manholes. When I asked him about this, he said astarkari work is not required, as we are using red/chemical pipes and also there are no chance of any rodents getting anywhere near the manholes. Urban Company may depute workers to dig and see the manhole's external sides whether any astarkari has been done or not.

                  Though I was doubtful, I did not want the work to get halted, as the tenants would come back the 3rd day and I was totally helpless, as he was deputed by Urban Company.

                  He and his team worked over night and even I was present. During early hours of 26/1/2022 at about 3:45 am, they demanded that I pay the balance amount of Rs. 16, 000/- plus any additional amount at my will for having worked continuously and assured that he would finish any incomplete or other pending works if any on 27/1/2022. Since he was deputed by Urban Company, I gave him the benefit of doubt and paid the balance full and final amount of Rs. 16, 000/- through google pay (receipt attached).

                  On 26/1/2022, I noticed the following incomplete and pending works:

                  i. cement finish (astarkari) for man-hole, internal area not done at all (pics attached)

                  ii. The outlet pipes from the walls to the manholes were all directed towards the walls of the man-holes whereas they have to be towards the drain hole of the pipe (pics attached).

                  iii. did not use the debris back on the pipelines and its sides, as a result, the work done by him and his team is now 3 to 4 inches below the ground level. I had to hire a trolley auto and 2 laborers to clear off the debris and get it dumped in a dumping yard, which additionally costed me Rs. 1, 800/-

                  iv. The leveling work is poor and sloppy, which nobody would accept this kind of workmanship.

                  I immediately called Mohammed Khizer who noted the above incomplete and pending works and assured to do it on 27/1/2022.

                  On 27/1/2022, when I called him he did not respond. Since then I have been calling him and he is not at all responding to my calls.

                  Subsequently, I have raised a complaint with Urban Company and a couple of executives are in touch with me and have assured me not to worry and that it would be done or full refund will be done.

                  I request the Urban Company either to rectify them as per the required and agreed standards or make a full refund asap, as the incomplete and inappropriate works are further damaging my building and redoing it would be even more expensive. I state that it is a clear case of cheating by the plumber who came through Urban Company.

                  It's almost 24 hours since you assured me, but nothing has happened till now.

                  For your kind information, I have spent Rs. 70, 000/- plus towards material and labor and please understand the amount of damage and monetary loss being caused to me on a daily basis because of the unfinished, sloppy, incomplete, and damage causing works done by Md. Khizer who was deputed by Urban Company. I mean these sloppy works are further damaging the pipeline and manhole areas, which would further drain my pockets.

                  You are once again requested to resolve this issue by refunding my amount (labour charges of Rs. 18, 000/- or get the works done as per the minimum standards that is required at my site immediately.

                  Or else, please give me your appellate authority's contact coordinates and I shall address my issues directly.

                  For the kind attention of Mr. Abhinav / Ms. Gunjan,

                  Thank you for your time but it would be appropriate if it is done in work rather than talking and prolonging the issue by making me suffer with huge financial loss and unwanted stress, which is all because of Md. Khizer team’s inefficiency. Also, the delay caused by you in resolving the issue since January 27, 2022 is increasing the extent of damage day by day and also financially.

                  I have now compromised to a large extent and came up with the following fair options for Urban Clap to resolve the issues, which are as follows:

                  Option-1

                  Please get the following blunders rectified at Urban Company’s (labour and material) cost, strictly as specified below:

                  a) Md. Khizer or any other plumber deputed by Urban Company has to do the cement finish (astarkari) for all the six man-holes (internal and external sides of manholes) and pack all the external sides of the six manholes properly/tightly with concrete mixture.

                  b) The outlet pipes from the walls of all the six manholes have to be directed towards the drain hole of the pipe and not against the walls of any of the manholes.

                  c) They have to clean / clear the hardened concrete struck in the drain pipes, which they have left un-cleared after the work and ensure smooth flow of human and other wastes along with water.

                  d) They have to do it at a suitable time, as I cannot shift my family and tenants once again for a couple of days to stay outside because of Md. Khizer and his team’s irresponsible and [censored]/sloppy works done on Jan 25, 2022.

                  Option-2

                  A minimum of Rs. 12, 000/- be refunded from Urban Company, which would enable me to repair / rectify all the blunders done by Md. Khizer and his team.

                  Since all of you at Urban Company are trained to buy time and ignore the after service support to rectify the blunders and make the end-users suffer with stress and financial loss, I doubt very much if any of you would go with either of the options and bring it to a closure.

                  Please note that during on Dec 13th, 2021, I have hired a pest control team (Mr. Adnan – [protected] and team) through Urban Company for my 6-floored office building and got the penthouse floor treated with pesticide who charged Rs. 3, 600/- and the job was well done. The remaining 5 floors x 2000 sqft per floor are pending for the same kind of treatment but I have deliberately put in on hold.

                  As already told I am also parallel renovating my 2-floored independent residential building and on a spree to hire plumbers, carpenters (hired and cancelled), electricians and other technicians. I strongly feel that I have been taken for a ride / granted by Urban Company. I am now in a dilemma whether to go with Urban Company or not.

                  Since Jan 27, 2022 onwards, many from Urban Company have called me once every two days and assured me that my issue will be resolved today but that today has not come till date. To name a few, Mr. Abhinav, Ms. Guinjan, Mr. Gautham, Mr Jetan etc... are all sleeping with my complaint.

                  To add to the caller's name, yesterday at about 2:28 pm Mr. Debanshu called and enquired had the issue not been resolved? When I said NO, he gave the same assurance that it will be resolved by yesterday evening itself but it has not been resolved till now.

                  Perhaps, you are all trained to take customers for a ride/cheat in such a fashion. If any of you are concerned with at least 1% of my agony, loss, damage, stress etc., etc., then, please give me your appellate authority's contact coordinates so that I can address my issues directly with him/her.

                  Last Saturday (March 12, 2022) Mr. Khizer, Plumber called from [protected] and assured to come on Sunday March 13, 2022 and would complete the unfinished and incomplete works. As usual he TURNED OUT TO HAVE GIVEN FALSE ASSURANCE AND DID NOT COME.

                  It may please be noted that about half-a-dozen (Ritam, Abhinav, Gautham, Jetan Debanshu, Gunjan), employees o[censored]rban Company communicated with me and all of them have given me false assurances on a regular basis that it would be resolved within 24 hours but till date it has not been resolved. Yesterday evening (March 01, 2022) Ms. Shimanshu called and gave the same story that my issue would be resolved within 24 hours and I hope she does it in work rather than in words as doing like her colleagues in Urban Company.                     I have written the below comment on the play Store app regarding the utter disappointment in the paint job.

                    In less than a week, half of the walls were back with seepage even after the promise of surveyor and 2 paint jobs (one with so called water proofing).

                    Now i m too tired of chasing for a decent paint job and seems that my money is wasted.
                    BEWARE OF THE PAINT JOB. PLEASE DONT TRUST THE PAINT SURVEYOR AND READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY: the T&C WILL HAUNT YOU BACK. My experience: Gave 40k for 3bhk (7-10days) job including waterproofing. UC took 1.5 months, 2 contractors to finish the job. My wooden flooring of 2 rooms was completely damaged and repair estimate came at around 18K. UC told that "As per Policy", we can only pay 10K so i had to bear the loss of additional 8K. UC gave warranty of paint job, but after 1 week of paint job, seepage occured even in places where it wasnt there earlier . UC replied that "As per policy", they cannot do anything abt it. In short, my horror experience story had following outcomes: 1. Harassment approx 2 months since we are living in the same place and got adjusted in different rooms multiple times. 2. Unnecessary loss of 8K purely because o[censored]nprofessional service by UC. 3. unnecessary follow ups and head banging with UC executives over call and emails. 4. big patches and discoloration due to seepage even after taking the water proofing and luxury paint job ( that too on the advice and promise o[censored]C surveyor). 5. Rudeness o[censored]C executives when i told them that you already gave me a loss of 8k, and you should see how the paint job done bad can be corrected. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST UC EXECUTIVES(PAINT SURVEYORS), THEY CAN MAKE ALL THE FALSE PROMISES IN THE WORLD JUST TO GET THE SALE AND THEY TAKE MONEY IN ADVANCE SO THAT YOU GET ON THE BACKFOOT THROUGHOUT THE JOB AND HAVE VERY LITTLE/NO OPTION TO SAVE YOURSELF. P.S- this is my second post regarding the poor service, also this can be deleted at anytime by UC, BUT BEWARE.

                      I booked the services for total number of 8 ac split cleaning.
                      Some android urban clap aap issue was going on . So it was not showing the amount credited to uc but when i checked my bank statement it was deducted 3 times. Out of which one time services were given and second time i got refund from google pay. But still i am not getting the refund for the 3rd payment in my account back..I need the money in this difficult situation sir .

                        The service technician came to replace the gaskit of my front load washing machine. While repairing the technician was literally using a hammer to open the machine as he didn't know how to open it. I paid 2500rs for this service and 200 for technician. After the repair i noticed that my machine is making loud noise. I checked and raised a revisit of the technician and found out that the previous technician broke the drum of my machine. And he didn't find the gasket properly and so the new gasket is also damaged. I have been trying to seek support from Urban company and didn't receive any support yet. Its been more than a month since we are waiting for support and we did not receive any help. Please help with the same as it has been very inconvenient to wash clothes without the machine. If i don't receive any support now, I'm going to raise a complaint with the police on the technician and on the urban company. I will also raise my voice on social media for the same.

                          The said geyser was functioning properly before 02 Dec 2021 and a request was made to descaling of equipment. The service professional Mr Vikas Kumar Singh visited as and informed that some parts are faulty
                          and needs immediate replacement. We agreed to his version and paid him for spares and service. Thereafter the geysor was having a problem of water leakage and in spite of repeated requests and reminders the said technician failed to resolve the issue.Mr Vikas Kumar Singh has also informed us that not to make any complaint through Urban Company, as he will resolve the issue of his own. Once he couldn't do it the matter was brought to the notice of your customer care. Once the geysor was having a problem that cannot be resolved why Mr Singh advised us to change spare parts ?
                          Another Service professional attended the complaint on 22 Feb and informed the the product is beyond economical repair needs to be scrapped.
                          It is clearly understood that to gain monetary benefits he tried to fix the problem temporarily.
                          Viewing the above scenario we feel cheated and the said service technician has used his fraudster mind to gain monetary benefit.
                          He not only harassed us but at the same time compromised with your company's reputation.
                          Your kind intervention will help me resolve the issue

                            On Feb 13th at 1:30 pm Mr Stalin the company assigned professional took my kitchen chimney saying he has to take to service center for repair on the promise that it will be repaired and refixed the next day. Since he did not return by 14th I tried calling him and he would not take the call. I registered a complaint in the App on 15th. The company person responded and assured me that by 4 pm on 15th Mr Stalin will return the chimney. Since it was not returned by 4 pm I refiled a complaint. After that the company never responded as on now that is 1 pm on 16th.
                            I wonder how I can get back my appliance/

                              I am Priyanga and have ordered for basic chimney cleaning on Sunday (13 Feb 2022) with Urban Company. The person who attended did not look trained and professional and sprayed chemicals and water into the motors. When he asked us to switch on and check the device, fuse blew out and the power went out in the entire house with a huge sound. We had to call another electrician to fix this and later when we tried to check the chimney it was not working and had a lot of physical damages. I spoke to the company and arranged for a chimney repair service. This person opened the chimney and confirmed that all the chimney parts including its 2 burners, moulds, .. have been damaged and its difficult to get its spare parts. Hence Urban company's escalation manager promised to buy a new chimney and get it installed and make the issue sorted. However till now there has been no updates on the same.

                              Since the last 3 days this follow up with more than 5 different Customer care people and re-narrating the issue history is making me sick and tired. I am undergoing mental torture and to make things worst since today morning they are not reverting to the call back (Have made 3 call back requests on[protected]. Please help me get justice and ban this Urban company who are so unethical and false.

                                  I had booked service to repair the broken washing machine on 30 Jan 2022. The professional who visited has fitted a used part to fix the issue and I am asked to pay the full amount of a new part. I have already raised a complaint for this and no resolution even after providing all the photo proofs and explanations. I am tired of these guys making me run around.

                                    Even after repeated warnings the representative keeps calling and messaging me and you guys are not resolving the issue neither given me a compensation.
                                    I never received a resolution why are you guys attempting to close the ticket. And I just got a call from your team she has no idea about the conversation I had the last time with the lady who spw about the compensation. I was told my account is blocked temporarily how dare you do that your representative misbehaved and is unprofessional with unethical acts. And you block my account I'm reporting your case to newspapers and consumer forum and social media that how unprofessional risky and usafe ur service is and how when a customer reports u make the customer suffer instead of trying to fix the issues. Absolutely disgusting experience. Unsafe and risky business.

                                      I want a direct number to get the issue addressed. The urban company do not have a direct customer care number. And when we have to address any important issue, and it is a simple case of payment refund to the cleaning guy who had done a remarkable job. The customer care is just revolving around and not getting the direct solution. Please escalate the issue or get me to someone who can handle issues on priority basis.

                                        I had problem in my washing machine. That problem was rectified by the technician but 2 more problems were added in that machine. I called the customer care no they send the same technician again, he couldn't solve the defects made by himself. Then I called several times on customer no but they didn't send the technician again.
