Hello,

I got specs made with progressive lens from vision express dombivli. I was informed it usually takes between 1 week to 1 month to adjust to the progressive lens. Since i started using it i had heaviness in the head, blurred far vision, headaches and it was mental torture on a daily basis. After trying to adjust it for more than a month, i couldn't bear it any longer and contacted the vision express store. On checking their records they realized instead of making specs with -0.25 power they had made it with +0.25 for my left eye. They said manual errors happen. I shudder to think how many more people might be getting wrong power lenses. This is a case of medical malpractice. I would like to know what does vision express plan to do about the harm it has caused to my eyes, health and the mental trauma i had to go through.

    People once join the company like to work for long term but never thought it will be a short term only for three month i have to take this decision

    Once you got some project company give 6month to 1 year time to perform but in this case it was not like from the day of joining i got every bad response with my area manager sundeep gunti

    As many of his complaint gone from staff but till date no action was taken on him

    It was very bizzare to see after putting the mail no one least bother to reply hr or vissel blower id which created for this kind of situation

    This kind of people who work in this organization spoil our future and our resume.in future we have to face difficulties while applying a new job

    Hope management will look into this so it wont happen other staff in future because of this kind of people

    I dont want to take this kind of step but today he has cross his limit the way he spoke to me

    In this 13 year of my sales job i have never ever come across this kind of person who always speak in rough & high tone which not good, always demotivate never encourage the staff



    As every one know how the ulhasnagar store is & difficult to work as evey day light goes for 5 to 6 hour

    As we have work on genrator most of the time, lots of maintance issue as i am new to the system join on 13th april but from the day of joining not got any good response from my area manager sundeep gunti, as always make a comment if dont achieve this or that you have to look for another job, this is not the way organization work you people not ready to give time to people to settle down



    Today again he spoke in a wrong manner has our mail box was full but he knows from morning we dont have light in store but he never listin spoke u people dont know to work i explain him as light was not there so he told if you have problem you can put regarding this to any one, according to me he is area manager already inform him & he also know the sitution of store,



    Sorry to say enough is enough today he has cross his limit & its not my cup of tea the way work going on

    I think i am in wrong place take a verry wrong decission as join this company

    I woluld like to step down my position as a store manager from this organization,
    Hope some one take a strick action as lower staff dont have to suffer in future he should learn manmanagment skill it will good for him

    Nothing much to say in this more will make sure action is taken on this

    I am handover the store key & petty cash to sunil gurav & my team

      We had ordered two spects at reliance vision express at r mall godbunder road, thane west, mumbai on 24th august 17 and we were supposed to get the delivery on 26th and one on 27th august and when we went to the shop on 27th august for delivery we were shocked to understand that the dei very was not ready and the salesman told us that we should have called up before coming.
      The attitude of the salesman was very bad and he said he will cal up on 28th august in the morning and will inform about the delivery and when i called u at 6 clock in teh evening he said still the delivery is not ready and forgot to call up as he was very busy.

      This kind of service is not expected from vision and this requires immediate correction.

        With in one week frame bend was noticed. Same was send to lab & they claimed it was rectified. After one time fold same complaint is repeated. Add on to that service deep scoring was found. Thank god i have not taken out from the show room.
        They try claim it was happened due to mis handling. Truth was lab returned condition is wirh scor mark.
        From july20.2017 problem was not solved. They are chits.

          Hi,

          I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against the uncertainty around delivery and delayed delivery of my contact lenses as a part of the order #/cin # u51900mh2007ptc175637 at the reliance vision express pvt. Ltd rpc layout, vijaynagar 2nd stage, bangalore store.

          Note that i was told on the date of the order: 28-jun-17 that it would take approx. 2 weeks for the lenses to arrive and the tentative date of delivery was 20-jul-17. When i went to the store today, i was told that it would take 2 more weeks (Roughly, no guarantee again!!) for the lenses to arrive.

          This is unacceptable as there seems to be no end to the wait to receive a pair of lenses from the store! While the entire bill amount is conveniently collected at the time of order, as a customer, i have to wait for over a month to receive a pack of lenses! While i have chosen spectacle frames from the store in the past, this is the first and last time i am choosing to shop for contact lenses at vision express as this has been a frustrating experience.in fact, i would recommend my friends and family to stay away from such a brand that offers little help to customers who have spectacles or contact lenses requirements.

          I have checked at competitor stores and i have been assured delivery in a week for the same type of lenses. This has been an absolutely pathetic experience and i am writing this formal letter of complaint for poor service.

          I am well aware that there is no point checking at the store as the store attendants have a standard reply to customer queries and are least bothered about the trials of a customer who requires contact lenses!

          I am hoping that this complaint enables a faster delivery of my order. Further, i will wait and pursue other action as i have paid the full amount and have no visibility on the delivery date of my order.

            I bought the glasses for Rs 3000 with frame 2 months before..within 2 months the glass curvature got changed and my frame got loose from grooves where glasses gets fit and curvature got changed. They are playing with your eyes with wrong glasses plus their curvature is also not correct and my eyes are paining like anything.Doctor told me that your eye might get damaged because of this. I am gonna write a complain to their heads . They are taking your money plus they are playing with your eyes...please stop buying anything from this Vision store. Also they are big fraud, i went to them and they took 10 days to return my glass and didn't even fix and lied to me that glasses has been changed. I hardly get time from office, so I am gonna anyway spend money with other pair of glass and will make sure I will complain to all.

            Not able to replace my frame in warranty...due to losing my invoice detail.. This iz very bad on part of vision express...becoz my spec iz
            in warranty bt still I cant replace it...I am a regular customer of vision express...and such type of behaviour was not expected from such reputed company...

              My name is michell mathew m, today i visited your store in ashok nagar, chennai, india. As my spectacle needed a regular cleaning. I asked them to clean and do the required corrections on the frame if required.
              But unfortunately i received the item with the frame damaged, with the hinges and the screw damaged and looks as if they used wrong tools and there is a dent to the leg. I informed them about it and they said sorry and took the frame for further services and asked me to collect it later.

              Now am concerned about whether the frame will last as the damage seems to be a bit serious and the leg is completely loose. I went to the vision express store itself for service trusting your quality and now am forced to work without my glasses.

                I bought this frame from vision express bangalore, gopalan mall wich is vx29285 metl r blk53 with gold lenses. I clearly mentioned to the optical assistant that i need a 55mm size and confirmed that it can be done by them. They agreed and by the time, it got delivered, the frame was cut to 53 mm. How do i accept this nonsense. The customer service number is dialling but nobody is picking up.

                  I one of very old customer of Vison express, Pune.
                  on Sept 09, 2016, I purchased half rimmeed wired frame with lens from Aundh store.
                  Because of defective frame, the lens kept popping out of the frame repeatedly
                  Infact in past 3 month 4 times the frames were given to repair to fit the lenses.
                  Every time i pointed about the defective frame and requested for replacement.
                  last time too they the lens were again adjusted to the frame and during my travel abroad, one of the lens fell off.
                  After I reached back I met the store manager who subsequently escalated the issue to Mt.Varun Dheer, Operational Manager who offered me to replace the single lens with 25 % discount on the price of lens.
                  Iam shocked and peeved to know that instead of replacing the lens, I have been asked to pay the cost for lens with discount without considering the fact that the lens was lost due to faulty frame.
                  Iam surprised that a loyal customer of Vision Express is been given such treatment ...
                  Better sense should prevail soon and ensure that my request for replacing the lens without extra cost should be considered.

                    Vision express eye glass quality is really bad and service too

                    I have taken eye glass from vision express with one year warranty. But within a year the glass color is changed. When asked to shopkeeper he said glass has been scratched. However, its not the scratch but the quality of glass made it fade.

                    On 24th July, I had ordered for a pair of progressive glasses along with frame costing Rs 20, 398/- vide order number [protected], Slaesman Id : 60150927 from Reliance Vision Express Pvt Ltd, Coles Road, Fraser Town, Bangalore
                    I was unable to read properly and for long distance too everything was appearing double the size. Hence, the glasses were taken back for repair.
                    The glasses have been sent to the lab three times or more and till now the pair of glasses provided to me are not perfect. I am though able to read but unable to see long distance images / pictures properly.
                    They advised me to go for two glasses instead of one when I told them that I have been wearing progressive glasses for last 8 years hence would like to have progressive glass only. Thereafter, I was informed that the defect was because of incorrect frame size . Hence, I provided them with a frame that I had with me and got the final version of glasses on 16th Oct'16 . I was told to wear them for a few days and see . I am still not able to read clearly and to top it I have a blurred long distance vision when I wear the glasses. When I contacted Ms Deebanjali on 20th October, I was told that this is the best they can give.
                    I have lost approximately three months time and money for the substandard product provided to me by Vision Express. Either the glasses be replaced or the money paid for the glasses be refunded. It is to be noted that I am using progressive glasses for the past 8 years. Earlier I had brought progressive glasses twice from Anglo American Opticals (Commercial Street, Bangalore) and faced no such issues. I will have to go to Anglo American Opticals once again to get a perfect pair of progressive glasses

                      The employee has not given the proper information about their offers, I bought specks of rs 4000rs on which they said sunglasses are free, but they have not provided information about extra money required for the sunglasses with correction of number.Even billing was done they have not given me any idea about extra money. After that they was keep calling for extra money.I asked to cancel the order but they refused.If they would have given me right information may be I will prefer other company.but now I cant

                        I have buyed Vision express spectacles in September 2015 in Gandhi Nagar store, Hyderabad, with the cost of 4, 000 rupees. Later within 7 months, the rimless frame was broken and gave for repair in Ashok nagar store, Chennai.

                        The spectacles i submitted was clean and no scratches on the lense. The lenses costs around 2, 500 which is scratch proof. After repair, the lenses were scratched and I asked for replacement.

                        Now Chennai team and Hyderabad team are not even responding and talking carelessly with customers.

                        Now the lenses cost is around 2800 and they are asking me to pay 300 for replacement.

                        My question is, if the frame was damaged from my end, i can bear any cost. I wouldn't come to your store again if the frames are not broken. Since the scratches were due to your employee, why should I bear the cost.

                        Gandhi nagar people are telling that the Chennai team is not at all responding. Now I dont know who ever bears, I need my spectacles back with same condition.

                        I need Operation manager Shiva Kumar and City Head to contact me immediately. Store manager are threatening me on phone call.

                          I purchased a pair of sunglasses from the vision express outlet in gopalan signature mall, old madras road. Before billing, i found a scratch and was not keen on buying it. The sales person suggested that i take it and use it for a week till he has a new pair to replace it with. He promised if it cannot be replaced in a week, the money would be refunded.
                          This incident happened on 19th june and by today (2nd aug), i have been to their outlet at least 4 times, paying a parking charge just to get it. They have even kept the defective sunglasses and not returning it. Despite of several calls and personal visits they are unable to replace it and not willing to refund the money.
                          The sales person martin (+91- [protected]) keeps making lame excuses and just won't resolve the issue.

                            I made a very great mistake choosing vision express (which do not follow express by name) i ordered power glass buy one get one free offer it cost me around 9700 my frame cost was 3000 rs later which i found was of local quality .I pick up the glass from the showroom which is in kukatpally at night wore the same i drive back home, and it was so hard for me to drive because of so much gayer reflecting, immeditly i called and inform the same and returned the glass to the showroom they took 3 day for replacement even though it was same, i again inform that am still facing the problem. And second fram which i got it for free which is same cost 3000 the rim itself came out automatically and there was a defect in the glass too . When myself and my brother clam they were blaming us for that, and it was just 2-3 weeks purchase. The showroom people say we won't give you warrantee on this but still we had taken it for replacement. And now it took 4 day for the replacement when i called to the showroom when it will be ready he was talking so arrogantly with loud voice. Which is so pathetic. No proper customer service . Just duping people by selling local cheap quality glass by price 3000, 4000, 9000. No vale for money. Hell lot of advertisement free.Free free...Just unhappy with the services and product what vision express deals .
                            I totally agree with what VISION EXPRESS has local quality material . I already faced this issue and now am using L&M glasses which are really worth.
                            I faced the same problem with this service people from Vision Express. Bad service and low quality product.

                              I hereby want to bring to your notice that, i am utterly disappointed with the service vision express provide.

                              I had ordered for the spectacles on 2-4th april 2016 in vision express deccan branch pune. I was told i will get the spectacles in one weeks span. I got the spectacles as per commitment but it was very shocking to me that your so called experts had interchanged my optical powers of left and right eye. My left eye power is -5.50 and right eye is -6.50 but i got the spec with left eye power -6.50 and right eye power -5.50. After highlighting this to your team, i received a very casual reaction, which itself indicates how common such incidents are for vision express. One week after returning back the spectacles i get a phone call regarding breakage of glass during fitting. Even after these two incidents i din't escalate the issue. But yesterday, i. E almost a month later when i got my specs, left eye power was -5.0 and right eye power being -6.50.

                              This shows the amount of negligence vision express shows. I am using spectacles since last 12 years and never had such an terrible experience. If a person with such high power doesn't have any spectacles for last one and half month even after ordering the one, then it is the worst thing that vision express as an optician can do.

                                  Sent this mail to Vision Express but no response from the fraud company: I got my eye checked at RR nagar store, Bangalore and the number given by so called eye tester and even got the glasses and frame from Vision Express. Post usage of recommended number for some days, I was having severe head ache. I then got my eye tested at 2 other shops other than VE and found that the number recommended by the eye testing was high. I got new pairs of spec's from diff shop as VE was no more reliable. Post usage of new specs I did not find any trouble. When I approached VE RR nagar I asked for immediate refund of my hard earned money. The store manager is adamant of not refunding my money despite multiple follow ups as he is proposing purchase of same amt goods from VE. I do not trust in any of the VE products as my experience was very bad.. I have been sharing my VE pathetic experience with friends/colleagues/multiple people[in thousands] over face to face talks, phone and e-mails and ensuring that they do not purchase any goods from VE. Still the Manager [I dnt knw name] and Mr. Ratan [ I do not know who the hell he is] is adamant to refund my money. This is the last chance I am giving to VE else there are many more ways to damage your so called reputation. If I do not get response within 24 hrs, I have all plans to write on your social media, file a legal compliant if not refunded with money within next week. Please note I will demand huge compensation for the mental agony, stress and the loss of work[absenteeism] that I underwent while I was having severe headache when used the VE specs. I do not want to spoil reputation of big org due to one incident. Hope you act fast and prevent me from carrying an image that the whole company is sitting to make money and are least bothered about Customer Satisfaction. Inv No : 001492 dated 07/06/2015

                                    Hi, I purchased my glasses in the month of August, at Jayanagar 3rd block branch.. Initially I liked the frame and all was good, my previous prescription was given for analysis.. The doctor who tested my eye said I can use old spectacles and that of new vision express one.. It was 15days up I loved wearing during my study hours having felt excited with new frame and lens, but along with that was I felt fatigued, my head was aching literally and I thought it was because of light or change in my room colour.. As days passed on my energy levels went low and I had no idea why was this happening, drowsiness, headache, heart palpitation, fatigue.. Then I happened to wear my old specs and there was absolutely no symptoms of anything.. Then I realised it was the glass of vision express that was taking s toll on my health.. At times I felt pukish not knowing why was it happening.. Then I visited the showroom and explained my problem hoping to get some solution, after having checked my eye test they claim it was the same prescription that was used for making the lens wherein I was told inside by the doctors there was a change slightly with the cylindrical power.. She (Doctor) recommended that I continue wearing despite headache.. I told her my energy levels came down but they and double talk with their talks trying to justify the statement, when im facing with the side effects for which either refund my money back else il hv to take it to consumer court for having played with my health..

                                      Hello, I have given my specs for repairing to Vision Express store at Vishrantwadi. Just specs screw was removed & need to re-fix it, so I have submitted my specs to VE & they are broken screw fix part from Specs & simply denying to repaired it. Also I got very poor & bad service from them.
