[Resolved]  Vodafone India — Not able to send sms for porting in., 1900

Dear Sir,
iam not satisfy with your Internet Network
Coverage n Data Packs...Hence, i thought to move to Airtel...then i have started
to send SMS to 1900 for Porting...
but, iam not able to send only for 1900... "message Could not sent" is showing...tried 10 time...
by speking to Custmer care for solution...they keep giving non sense / irrilavent solutions: -

1.i did not recharged my mobile, as for as company rules so outgoing SMS barred...but monthly iam recharging
my mobile not less than 150Rs.
2. i suppose to change message centre no.- did the same but no result...
3. i have to change the handset - tried but no result...

moreover the Custmoer care representatives not available for 3 days, n they are are not giving a chance to spk ...
Plz help me...

Hi.
I cannot send port message to 1900. Everytime I try to send it, it says message cannot be sent. I can send and recieve messages from other numbers. But I cannot send sms to any vodafone cc numbers like 1900, 111 etc. I called up customer care twice, but they were not able to solve this issue.

I cannot send port messages to 1900 for my VOdafone number [protected].

i'm getting a message saying unable to send messages. my number is from maharashtra and i am getting one more local sim from Karnataka of Vodafone itself.

The agent told me that to port a local karnataka sim for the same number, i need to get some UPC Code. but how do i work without being able to send any message to 1900.

Called the customer care and they told me to change my sim, restart phone, select network manually and other things. i believed them and did all of it even if it sounded weird. but the problem persists .

Can someone help me regarding this ?
similarly with me, why i am not able to send the porting message to 1900. have you guys intentionally blacked the message service for 1900? so that customer will face problem during porting process.

I have tried to sent message for PORT TO 1900 but it could not be sent due to what reason i dont know but this totally wrong with the consumer. i want to also take the legal action against vodafone due to this service because i have been very irritate for the all services of vodafone .

Please help me as soon as possible so that i can port my vodafone to idea.

I tried daily from last 7-8 days but not able to send port msg to 1900.
I thought May be there is network issue but today i send test sms to my another mobile number n sms sent successfully.
Vodafone doing something wrong with customers.

I have also tried to send PORT sms from Vodafone but it is failing. Raised a complaint. I do not know what TRAI is doing. We should use the services of Indian companies so that the response will be proper. Vodafone is only trying to loot. my no is being used for last 10 years. Last year for two months I switched to postpaid because of their salesman cheating. End paying first month bill 700, second month 1100. my usage in prepaid was monthly 400 only. So returned to prepaid. But now after lapse of 1 year they blocked prepaid no. by sending msg that rs. 244 is pending for my no. I do not know how they have changed from postpaid to prepaid last year without checking. Now they blocked my no. Ended up paying 244. Now the PORT message along not going from my no. Whole of India should avoid Vodafone.

Unable to send PORT sms from Vodafone number [protected]. Been trying for the same for last 10 days but it shows with an error message with Error code: 50.

I have been using the sim for past 2 years now when i tried to port i am not able o send any messages to 1900, those guys wantedly blocked messages from going to 1900.

Please take necessary action as i have seen many and many customers with the same issue.

They are thinking as if they are so smart infront of Government rules and all.

I am unable to send messages from my number [protected] (Reliance connection -GSM). So I am unable to get MNP portability code to switch to another provider because reliance provider is shutting down all services from 31st December 2017. Please help me that how do I get port code.

Hi Users,

If you are facing problem to send SMS to 1900 for portable, first you need to check your balace at least 1 rupees because if you want send SMS to 1900 1 rupess will be charged, if you have unlimited calling and free SMS packege SMS will not send. You have compulsory balace 1 rupees, So users please recharge your mobile balace and send SMS, your problem will be solved.

I am also facing the same situation. Today I tried 8 times to send a message to 1900 and finally got error message.
I think we all together submit a complaint jointly in the Consumer Court and also share the information to media for public awareness.

All popular Vodafone plans come with unlimited calls but 0 balance. To send out PORT message, minimum 1 Rupee balance is mandatory as this message is chargeable. Just recharge your number with minimum amount to get the balance(NOT JUST VALIDITY), you will be through. Good riddance !!!
