I, Snehal Ramkrishna Patil am writing with deep pain and also hope of redressal from the fraudulent cheating done to me by WhitePearl Holidays Private Limited. On Dec 1st, 2015, I paid in full for three tickets to be purchased for my family to travel to and fro between Mumbai and San Francisco. As instructed by travel agent, the sum of Rs. 2, 62, 500/- (Rupees two Lakh sixty two thousand five hundred only) was transferred to agency’s bank account (WhitePearl Holidays Private Limited - Account Number:[protected] ICICI BANK). Their agent Deepakkrishna Patel sent me a file in eMail, which was in fact a tentative itinerary and not an actual booking confirmation. I trusted the agent thinking that my tickets were done. However 2.5 months later on February 12, 2016, I called Singapore Airlines to add a tourism scheme that they had for passengers transiting Singapore for our tickets. However, they informed that the tickets were blocked me that my tickets weren’t booked at all and only seats were held up without paying any fees. (Later they told me that this holding up was also for the wrong date i.e.- March 13, 2016 instead of the requested date of March 14, 2016) and never paid! It was now clear that the aforementioned travel agent hadn’t booked a ticket instead of receiving the complete money 2.5 months back. After informing him, Mr. Patel told me that the date change was now made; However, Singapore Airlines authorities have informed me that the ticket was STILL NOT BOOKED. I kept following up with travel agency several time for the next 10 days to process my tickets by phone calls and eMails. I was falsely assured at different times that the tickets will be provided shortly or there were technical problems preventing the booking. On asking what the technical issues were he very adamantly and abrasively denied giving any explanations. My concerns with the delay escalated on February 23, 2016 as it has been almost three months since the money was provided to travel agents office with no tickets issued to me. At this point, I began to feel suspicious about this travel agency’s intent regarding this matter. As my departure date was getting closer I decided to get back my funds from him and rebook another ticket for other sources. As per conversation February 26, 2016 evening at 9:30PM IST with this travel agent, he had offered to return the money immediately, after being confronted with these details. Hence, I wrote him to return me money in the form of Demand Draft next day, which he arrogantly denied. He told me that he will never give Demand Draft and only give a cheque to me. I did not want to accept the cheque as it could get bounced. I told him to give me the cheque, however he used very rude language with me and did not give me cheque next day either. After much follow up he gave me post dated cheque (15 days post dated) for 15 March 2016. He knew that I will not be in India that time. He knew that I won’t be in India on March 15, 2016 and that prompted him to cheat me further. I patiently waited for 15 days to submit the cheque. I submitted cheque to HDFC bank on March 16, 2016 and shockingly found that the cheque was dishonored due to insufficient funds March 21, 2016. (we saw email 3 days later - 21st March). When we called him on March 23, 2016 to check with him why check bounced, he first told us to send the notice from our bank about bounced check. When we sent him the notice, he said something went wrong in bank and that's why check had bounced. He promised to issue another cheque however it was delayed due to bank holidays and a weekend. Frustrated by his fraudulent behavior and cheating we asked him to send us money by NEFT Transfer only as we could not trust him. However he still hasn’t returned the booking fee 7 days later. This has been extremely distributing for me and my family. I am completely frustrated by his behavior and service. My family has been mentally disturbed since the day we did business with him. I do not recommend anyone to use White Pearl Holiday agency to use to book their ticket. I am posting here in detail my experience so that no one like me should be cheated like this. Verified Support Apr 06, 2016 WhitePearl Holidays Customer Care's response Dear Ms.Snehal Patil, this is to inform you that it was your request to process the refund for the tickets and also I was about to make the NEFT Payment to your account and you started writing all these, which I again requested (not threatened) to remove but are still adamant. WhitePearl Holidays Pvt. Ltd. had given us false assurance of cooperation. We still have not received the payment and instead WhitePearl Holidays Pvt. Ltd has threatened us that they will not give us money back if we do not remove our complaint from this website.
I have been duped yes the right word is duped by owners of white pearl holidays, I had booked my holiday package from them for honk Kong for 19th may, he took the money and like many others never got the bookings done cancelling my flight booking twice and no hotel bookings at Hong Kong when I asked for my refund first he gave me my 2.26 lacs 2 cheques one for 1.26 lacs and other for 1 lac for May 31st which eventually bounced on further following up with him a daily nightmare he again gave me PDC of same amount for 30 June which again bounced, after so many follow ups and nightmares I submitted complaint to police station wherein he was summoned, their he reached on an agreement that he will give me 25000 per week and again the dilemma started following up for payments which he gave me for 2 weeks and after that no money. He stops taking the calls after promising payments which he never makes. He is a complete fake guy and a fraud wherein he promises and doesn't stand up to his word. Everybody please be wary of him,
I have written mail to IAATA UFTAA AND MINISTRY OF TOURISM STATE MINISTER DR MANISH SHARMA against the fraud by Patel brothers who keep duping and fleecing people again just keeps on promising and then goes incommunicado
