Hello,

I have a beauty secrets card from ylg (Cmh road, indiranagar), which was sold to me by the center manger mr. Dalwin. I was told the card is like a pre-paid card, which i would load money onto and then can be used to pay for my services at ylg. I loaded the card and was informed that there is a validity associated with it. This is the only time the validity was mentioned.

I was given the card and used it only on 2 visits to the salon. I still had a balance of about ~rs.3500/-

On 23rd march, i visited the salon for a simple threading service (Rs. 70/-) and went on to pay for it with my beauty secrets card. I was shocked and in disbelief when the manager (The same mr. Dalwin) told me that the card has expired and my remaining balance is now not possible to use. This is beyond ridiculous as it is my money loaded onto a pre-paid card which they are now claiming is expired!!

When i pressed on the issue of why i was not given a single reminder/text/ call about this, mr. Dalwin argued with me that they used to do this before but they no longer practice reminding the client.

I then showed him the physical card and asked why the space at the back which says valid through was left blank. He said he should have filled it in but he didn't at that time. This was again very unfair that the client (Me) should remember the validity when it was not even mentioned anywhere. The card was purchased months ago and how is the client supposed to keep track of expiry when the only place it is mentioned is on the bill.

I said it had only been 1 day since the expiry and that this is unfair as it is hard earned money (Pre paid). He made a call to someone (I assume the owner of this branch) and in malayalam he mumbled the issue. Soon after, he tells me that no, it is not possible to do anything and that my amount stands forfeited.

I have basically lost my unused money, this is not a reward or points that i am claiming, this is my money pre-loaded and now they are denying it as the period has lapsed. This is truly unheard of! Especially since not a single reminder was sent and also that the validity was not mentioned on the card (A clear lapse on the part of your branch manager).

Kindly look into this issue and issue an appropriate refund or restore the amount on my card. This is clearly a scam approach to make money by saying amount on a pre loaded card cannot be used.

Looking for a quick resolution to this traumatic experience. It is not just about the money but also about the principle of clearly cheating the customer.

    In ylg the customers are always pressurized to pick up the beauty secret card with a validity period for certain amount.

    I had opted to pay for the card and use ylg service and i was then informed about the time period for the card but there was no update on the date of expiry. There is no mention of the expiry date on the card, not is there a reminder alert or phone call that we receive. During my last visit, i was told that my card had expired and i cannot use service for the remaining amount in the card nor will they refund the amount. Since this is a pre-paid card, i am told that i have lost the unused money.

      Hi,

      I went to the ylg basaveshwarnagar store today for waxing. I asked for chocolate was but they refused saying it will take too long to heat chocolate was and i should get a more expensive wax. Then the lady kept walking out of the room during the service many times delaying the service and also poor service done. Then they refused to put in the voucher code even though i showed them the voucher. This is cheating and i want my money back.

        I got a bridal facial done at ylg kottivakam, chennai.
        I was told that facial will be for 60min and i asked will the use elt light too as it was written.. I was told yes, but facial was done in 45min with just 5min massage and 2 packs and no elt. No relaxing back massage. And also full leg and full hand wax everything done parrally with facial. Means no soothing no relaxing. Totally unsatisfied. Waste of money. I want refund

          Iam bhavana. i had booked an appointment at ylg sahakar nagar branch bangalore. At 3pm but unfortunately i couldn't make it to go, then later i called to the branch and asked them politely like i couldn't come please transfer the appointment at 6pm but the way the response i heard was horrible. the girl named sushma was speaking to her colleague like this lady today morning took appointment but now she is asking to transfer the appointment at 6pm but iam sure she will not attend this ladies are mad doesn't know to come when booked appointment. as if you people are doing the service for free.

          I want you guys to take immediate action on the person.

            Hi,

            Am poornima had done facial n detan at ylg sahakar nagar last week. Find face is turning darker day by day. I am constantly of ylg more than 8 years now. Not happy with service and products.. After paying 2006₹ on facial n seeing teh condition of face. I'm not happy this time. Probably will have to stop gng to ylg henceforth. Worst products now

            My Frnd has done Aaron waxing in YLG. The respective person has applied so thick Brazilian wax to my Frnd which has burnt her hand. This is not at all acceptable. The first layer of the skin got peeled.

            I need a solution for this.

              Today i was taken service in anna nagar ylg and the detan arms was charged 600 compared to other branches ylg (Charges 400). When i enquired about this manager was given me very harsh statements and her way communication is too harsh to the extreme. I have been to parlour for the past 3months and not satisfies with the services at all and her way of tone is also too harsh. Pls contact me so that i could explain about you what is my issue and really not satisfied with ylg..

                I am rosina, booked an appointment today at ylg home services. Called up the customer service representative to understand how the ylg400 coupon works and how i can pay using my bsc amount here, accordingly i mailed the ylghome to convert the amount and then i get call from executive assigned to me named kabitha she will be late, then i get a call from customer care that i can't use coupon since the appointment was not booked through app. I was upset and thus asked her to cancel the appointment, instead of giving a solution, this lady says ok mam. I am so sorry but your ylg home customer service is pathetic. I have used cunningham road ylg and have given awesome reviews. I shall never renew my membership. I better use service as and when required and use other parlours too

                  I have booked multiple times till now from past one week and they r cancelling the service.

                  Have asked for the manager call back a month ago and none turned up.

                  Pathetic!

                  Will take this further and operator padma don't deserve to be in customer service. Horrible response for customer

                  For the messages and call records i have of ylg staff, they will lose job for sure

                  Ylg customer service sucks. They do not have proper staff to provide good service.

                  No idea how many times i have asked for manager and none turned up and this is the third time i'm writing on the website here.

                    I lost my ylg membership card in September 2018 with pending balance of Rs22000 and expiry as Dec 2018. After continuous follow up and no replies from YLG side now they are saying thay card has already expired and the last balance was approximately Rs1000. I have a message and photo of my last bills as proof of pending amount and expiry date.

                    I am attaching the images of old bill and message. I have been taking membership for past two years and the membership was taken at YLG Cunningham road branch.

                    They have a very bad customer service. Even after follow up for past 3 months I don't get response from them.

                    Please help in getting the issue resolved. I should ideally be getting card with my pending amount and extended membership as I was not able to use the same.

                    If not I need to get the actual worth of money along with competition for all the trouble I have been facing.

                    They will never contact you...these people are bunch of cheater...i also faced the problem as they have done my facial with expired kit and i am having that kit but they not responding in any way its their hapit to take every very casually...
                    I have faced a similar issue with YLG. On doing research about their membership and payment experience I have seen that this is VERY COMMON practice with the company. Something ought to be done!!!
                    I agree, I faced the same issue, WE should not take their cards. It is just a business tactic to cheat the customer

                      I had booked an appointment for facial on 31oct 2018 from ylg @home but i started itching all over the face so i picked up the wrapper of the facial kit by which beautician had done my facial as it was home service by the ylg saloon itself.

                      when i saw the manufacturing date on kit is 2014and it will be expired within 2 years as mentioned .
                      we always go by brand just for the authenticity but either way we are not getting the honesty.I escalate this issue through mail on 30oct itself.By that day till today only i have to reach them they never call back although they they say they will call back.Their no response from the customer care they never pic the call. Because of this incident my skin is in brutal condition but they haven't refunded the amount nor apologise for the same

                      What a great way of dealing with the customer after trying so hard to yell out my problem by doing so many fake appointment on [protected]@home app so that i can have a disc about this because in this so long span these people haven't reached me once on their own and after accepting their fault and settling this issue with the refunding the double amount that i paid .Now i get a call today with one of the manager saying that no manufacturing date of 2018 only that is printed on the kit be stick to your word what you have given.
                      I request all the people who are in this forum kindly spare some time and have a look at the image and tell me what is the manufacturing date which i am highlighting in the image.

                        I have contacted via call multiple times regarding my complaint where my appointment was confirmed many a times and none turned up. Operator did not answer the call. Representatives on cal promised that il get a cal from manager as i asked for manager but it's been a month now, none contscted. Even yesterday i called and was told il get a call back but still none called, sick.

                        Operator padma was giving service for me from months. Everytime she was giving reasons and not even once she was punctual but still i gave her rating as she was always telling about family issue. But people should not tell family problem each time when ever they don't come. She lied me telling those reasons. She had went to other appointments. I don't understand why operator has to lie. She does the service for what i pay and nothing free. Being in customer service, should one learn the behaviour.

                        Very bad attitude and behaviour from ylg opearor.

                        Once i got manicure and pedicure done by this lady. You know how long she took? Within half an hour she finished both. Sick i pay so much and no result with the service. Then no point in paying. I told the same thing and was told will be done again and apologised but nothing happened in this. Very sick 😣

                        Who ever answer the call, even they don't know how to talk over call and chit chat other side when customer calls and they just disconnect the call. Il get a message sometimes that il get a call back almost for more than 10times but never got a call. Terrible serice.

                        I want to take this to higher level. Very bad customer service. Have wasted my time like hell. I will raise this complaint to the next level.

                        Yes these ylg people are pathetic and horrible...they never ever contact you to resolve any issue never give response to emails.i wish i would have read all these complain before wasting my money. Really some serious action should be taken against them they all are bunch of cheater.

                          I visited ylg salon on oct 19th 2018 in rajarajeshwari nagar.
                          For eyebrows upper lips and underarms.
                          The lady after doing eyebrows said to go for waxing for upper lips instead of threading as it is less painful.
                          I resisted saying one of your people burnt my upper lips a few months before.
                          Even then she said she'll take care and went for waxing again the same happened and a mark is left on my upper lip (Big mark photo attached).
                          Just because waxing costs more and threading less they're doing this.
                          They have charged 118rs alone for upper lip waxing.
                          Money is not a issue but mark on my face looks very bad and i am suffering because of this.
                          I want to teach this ylg a lesson please help me.

                            I had taken a home service on june 3rd 2018. And mistakenly had made the payment twice. This happened due to network issues. Now i have been following up since then to either refund me the money or provide me a second service of the same amount or more. But no response other than standardized emails.
                            I have never had such horrible experience with any of the home service. No response. No action taken. Pathetic horrible worst service in the industry. - ve rating. Will never suggest anyone.

                              I was given appointment with one professional at a certain time .I arrive on time . I was told the professional was busy and was directed to another beautician . I changed and astringent was applied. Just before starting the waxing the beautician told me that her client had arrived and I was left in that state in the room.
                              Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting behavior met by the YLG team.
                              This branch on Bannerghatta road on Bangalore is absolutely unprofessional and disgusting approach.

                              Have you got any response by them till today???
                              I also been there at ylg banergatta near by to arkere...they are pathetic they will always make there customer wait for so long even though we also make prior appointment. They don't value for time of customer.Actually these all ylg brand people are bunch of cheater never visit at anywhere and dont take any sort of service as in [protected]@home also they have done my facial with the expired kit and after informing them through mail they never revert back its almost more than a month with my incident and don't get any call or any responsive email by their side

                                Card validity date and year not mentioned on the card. Many a times it is difficult to remember this expiry date and no message alerts rom the company to make it remember when it is nearer, so that we can make use of the card within the validity date. For all other discounts, services we get messages. we would like to have message alert as well as expiry date embossed on the card.

                                I want to use the balance amount left in my card account due to unaware of the expiry date and the manager/employee of the ylg branch not let me to give appointment well within the expiry date whenever requested. Please do justice as I have a good opinion and trust that company will oblige.

                                  YLG at Old Airport Road behind Leela Palace has a culture worse than a govt office. Its running on the will and plea of the manager there Ms. Chandrika. She oftens takes in pre-billing facility and denies the service later on. I had an appointment on 19th July 7 15pm taken 3 days prior. On reaching at 7 20pm I am being told that i am late and should leave. I have been visiting this store for last 7years and yesterday was my last visit. They call themselves a big chain but are not able to maintain any rules regulations or customer service. Incident like these have happened many a times in past but no action has been taken. They took 1999/- Rs. worth of billing in terms of offer and then denied me service. Its more like a easy money making business than any salon.

                                    Hi Team,

                                    I paid for 3 Bikini waxing in 23 feb 2018 in indira nagar CMH road branch. They said there is offer pay for 3 and get 1 free.and offer valid only in same branch,
                                    went in april for 2nd service and now they have take money and not giving service saying no validity. i have paid for 3 i should get 3 service.this is cheating.

                                    I tried you YLG cold wax strips priced 269/ .Product is not good i tried small wax strips on upperlip but it didnt remove hair properly.I'm. Regular to YLG all your services and products are excellent.But this product not worth for money.

                                      Complaint: service is bad, skin and hair is damaged. No bill received.

                                      After the service have issues with the skin and hair the product which was purchased had a damage and no bill has been provided for the services availed.

                                      The store manager was very rude when asked for the discount. The manager was so busy grooming herself and no response to the customer who requested for the invoice or for the other queries.

                                      Whenever I approach they say they r very busy with other clients and doesn't even bother to look at people...if you are that busy in providing service, kindly improve your staff orelse please display a board that tomorrow or the number of days you are busy you don't render the service..

                                      I don't know why the owner of this ylg is not notifying these things. Atleast they should have a measure on their customer care service 50% of the problem will be resolved if they take correct measure on their customer care team.

                                        I got my smoothing of hair done from kormangala ylg on thursday 29th march 2018, within 7days my hair is all over wavy again with no effect of the procedure. You guys charged me around 10200 rs whereas in green trends they we charging me some 6200rs. I paid for the pakcage of. 35k i have already paid 17500 rs. I'am highly unsatisfied with your services. Kindly refund my amount back either you refund my 10200 or 17.5 k choice is yours. Kindly don't make it more painful for me as it has been already 2 times i visited the place with no solution.
