I had purchased a 3door wardrobe from Zuari furnitures of Dhanbad around 6month back. About 2months back 1 of the door had come out of the hinge along with one of the hinge it self. I had complained the matter to the dealer. The dealer than took away the door promising me to replace/repair the same soon. It is already more than 1 month, but till date they had neither replaced the door nor they could tell me the probable date of replacement. Whenever I talk to them, they say that they had already sent the door to the company for repair.

u dnt know how to handle goods and u jst try to instigate against zuari furiture. u dnt know how to use this kind of superior and sophisticated products. so 1st kindly u shud know how to use thn purchase anythng.
its jst lyk "bandar k hath me nariyal".
one of the doors of the wardrobe has detached i.e the hinges has come off!

Dining table chairs damage

2 chairs of my 6 chairs dining table is damaged. for one chair, 1 leg is broken and another chairs back is gone. Kindly do the needful at the earliest. Thanks Rinku [protected]

    Too BAD service...

    I got a computer table last week. They told me, they will come to assemble the table. But after 2 days, they did not show up.

    They even charge Rs.300 for fitting their own product. Too bad Business Idea.

    Don't Buy any Zuari products.

    Furniture — Bad business, attitude...

    This is with regad to the Furniture store located at Tippasandra named Krupa Agencies. We wanted to buy a wooden wardrob and in continuance of the deal we gave him advance of Rs 2000 and the balance amount was to be given at the time of delivery. Inspite of requesting the bill the owner refused to give the bill saying it's not a problem and that if you want to buy the bill will not be provided or else cancel the deal.

    The advance was made on Saturday - 8th Nov 08 and he made the promise to deliver it on Sunday 9th Nov 08, however after repeated follow up ( personnaly going to the store and aksin the status he failed to deliver the wardrob till Wednesday 12th Nov 08. After repeated insistence the owner refunded the advance after exchanging heated argument with the Owner.

    The seller inspite of making assurance failed to deliver the wardrob and also was very arogant in dealing and went to the exent of abusing and threatening us of the dire consequences. He had used my money for close to 5 days returned after so much of hardship.

    He needs to be asked question as to why the seller refused to give the bill for the sale & also the failing to keep up the timelines for delivery inspite of making several assurances.

      I have purchase a dining table (Six seater) from M/S Pawan Trunk & Steel Furniture, Adityapur, Jamshedpur on 19.2.2010, but within six month one of chair broken (Leg). Several times I made the complaints to M/S Pawan Trunk & Steel Furniture but they said replacement to be dome by company and same complaint I made through phone to company (No. provided by M/S Pawan Trunk & Steel Furniture) but no one picked up the phone or always phone busy. If complaint not address within one month from today i will go Consumer forum.

        With high expectation as a quality Birla product we purchased a queen size bed (Cot) from our local delaer of Zuari furniture product in ISRO Layout Bangalore last month.
        Leaving aside other wooden furniture shops of local repute the quality expectation was more by us hence paid the hefty anmount of 17500 as demanded by the dealer.

        To our shocking surprise the lid covering the head panel box broke in four days into two pieces. On scrutinising it is found there is no wood inside and the quality is below standard.
        On enquiring with the delaer a replacemnt of the lid was assured, still awaiting the same for more than a fortnight. Is there anybody to listen to us and take necessary action please.

          Dear Sir,
          We purchase one sofaset in vijayawada in your brach Near Annapurna Theatre ,Eluru road.They fix that on night and next day morning we found one damage in that sofa,we informed that shop person.We submitted photos for that and
          documents which are needed for that.1 Month completed,but till now we are not received any information from them.They gave Area Service Mangaer (ASM) Mr.Bhaskar [protected]. He was postponed every week and sometimes he was
          not lifting the call also.What we can do now????????????
          Pls provide the solution for us, we purhcsed it for the cose of 32,000/-.
          We are not happy for this serivce.

            1. I am Maj Rajneesh Duseja from army presently posted in delhi.
            2. I had bought a LCD cabinet along with a book rack & shelf sometimes in Dec 2009. However in the last 3 months the condition of the same has gone down drastically. there have been bends in the wood, the paint is going off & the wooden supporters down below have broken.
            3. I had spoken to Mr Satish sahni ( blue hut furnitures from tilak road delhi - [protected]) from where i purchased, approx 3 months back. This gentlemen cooly palmed off the complaint blaming zuari furnitures & gave me no of Mr Anirudh([protected]).
            4 I spoke to Mr anirudh 2 months back & sent an email with my details ( @ bagle [protected]@gmail.com) as per his directions. he said that he will come back to me.
            5. Thereafter i have been trying to ask him about it & that gentlemen (shameless i would say) has not bothered to attend me. i spoke to him yesterday on which he hung my phone. I am trying desperately to call but he s not picking up my calls either.
            6. I am actually very frustrated after this attitude of Mr Anirudh. The way this gentlemen is behaving , its an insult to your company. He has no manners & despite my repeated reminders, i am feeling a little ignored.
            7. I am recording this complaint of mine & would head towards the courts as my last resort since i feel am banging my head against wall.
            8. May i request you for an urgent action for my cabinet & also against that gentlemen without which not only the sanctity of company is lost for me but i will have to resort elsewhere.
            I sahll be waiting for your responce eagerly, with a hope that Zuari furnitures do not have everyone sitting like Mr Anirudh

              I have buy a chair from innerview furnitures (zuari stockist) tripunithura vide bill no. 298 dated 13 May 2009 amount Rs.5800/-..
              In march 2010 I have registered a complaint regarding the chair back seat damaged and was changed after one month . Again this chair having some problems. I have contacted the delear on 06th May 2010. The problem was Sitting seat damaged and arm rest broken. I have contacted several times . their reply was arm rest intended and it will come after 15 days. once their technician came and change a old arm rest like that a cheaper item and tell me new one will fixed with in 2 weeks.

              I have spoke to dealer and technicians till today they didnot change the same arm rest and sitting seat. now my complaint is pending too old. I am waiting your reply.

              Please do the best at your earliest.

                I PURCHASED A DOUBLE BOOK SHELF ( CODE 502) ON 10.12.20009. THE SHELF WAS ASSEMBLED AT MY HOME. THE RIGHT HALF GLASS WAS NOT GETTING ASSEMBLED. SO THE WORKMEN WHO HAD COME TO ASSEMBLE LOOSENED THE TOP WOODEN BOARD AND THEN ASSEMBLED THE RIGHT HALF GLASS. I SAID THAT THE TOP WOODEN BOARD IS LOOSE AND SOONER OR LATER THIS WILL CAUSE PROBLEM TO THE THE GLASS. I SUGGESTED TO PUT A WEDGE SHAPED WOODEN PIECE SO THAT THE TOP WOODEN BOARD DOES NOT COME DOWN. THE WORKMEN SAID ' KUCH NAHI HOGA'. AFTER ABOUT LESS THAN 3 MONTHS O[censored]SE THE RIGHT HALF GLASS HAS GOT BROKEN NEAR THE TOP RIGHT HINGE, APPARAENTLY DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE TOP WOODEN BOARD. I SUGGEST THE COMPANY TO REPLACE THE RIGHT VERTICAL BOARD OF CORRECT SIZE AND THE GLASS.

                  we purchased a Zuari sofa in subha stores in 2007 July. After one week from the date of delivery of the product we noticed a manufacturing fault. We kept on informed the stores to do the needful. They delayed and was ignored by them. Later we came to know that it was not the sofa belongs to Zuari company and it was a local made furniture by subha stores itself. Till this date they did not answered us properly. We have the purchase bill from the subha stores in my husband's name. Kindly help us to get the compensation from the stores.

                    Hi,

                    I bought a queen bed optima made by Zuari, sold by Hypercity mall at Cyberabad in Hyderabad.

                    MRP on Zuari set mentioned Rs 12,990/- where as store charged me at Rs 13,489/- I couldn't check MRP of the product in the store.

                    Is this OK? Whom should I complain to get the refund of excess charged amount?

                    Please let me know.

                      I have booked 3 sets of office furniture in TOTAL Mall Sarjapur road after having seen the display units on 24th Tuesday Nov 2009 by paying full cash of 20000/-, since the display units were not up to the quality and was damaged we refused to accept the display units for purchase. The Zuari BangaloreTeam Head Mr. Madhu [Mob :[protected]] promised the delivery of the entire unit on friday the 27th of Nov. On Saturday the 28th Nov when we went to pick up the delivery of the ordered items we found the same faulty DISPLAY UNITS been packed for delivery. We refused to accept the same and the TOTAL Mall Customer Care Associate & Category Manager Mr. Chandan [ Mob :[protected]] promised to rectify the same and hand over the same unit with in couple of hours, but sorry to tell they were not in a position to rectify the same and they made me to wait in their mall for 6 hours and i forced them to return my cash back for the entire amount. That too took more than 1 hour for them to return the cash back.

                      This is ridiculous, when I have made the full payment on the booking date and my self stand and execute the delivery of the ZUARI Products in their outlet, then why do they execute such orders when they dont have any capacity to serve the customer?

                        I had purchased a 4-door wardrobe (Zuari make) from Chatterjee Furniture, Bally, Howrah, West Bengal in the months of November, 2008. For the last few months fungus growth has been found on the inner portion of the back wall of the wardrobe. Accordingly I lodged complaint with the dealer (Chatterjee Furniture, Bally, Howrah, W.B.) in the month of September, 2009. Being not favoured by any response from the dealer end again I lodged complaint with the customer care centre of Zuari in Kolkata. But it is a matter of surprise that after a lapse of considerable time my complaint is lying unattended too. This type of after sales service is unexpected & undesirable from a reputed company like Zuari.

                          Hello,

                          My name is Mahesh Argade.
                          I had booked a TV wall unit (code 116) of Zuari Furniture from Ameen and Company Shivaji Nagar Bangalore on 27/9/2009.
                          I paid an advance of Rs 4000 upfront and was promised that the TV wall unit will be delivered in the next 2 days.

                          After reminding Ameen and Company for a week , finally a boxed pack was delivered to my residence.
                          Again i was promised that the fitting will be done ASAP, but it was a false promise. I even called Mr.Dastagir ( Mobile # [protected]) Zuari manager in Bangalore , but no response for fitting the furniture just false promises.


                          Finally 10 days before fitter from Ameen and Company came to fit the furniture. He realised that the pieces are incorrect.
                          1: Part # 2 and Part #3 had some problems. and hence the fitting cannot be done.

                          I even filed a written complaint with Mr Dastagir about the parts and he confirmed to have received it.
                          When I reminded him about the complaint, he again gave me a reason " Strikes are going on in Chennai factory because of diwali bonus and there is no production"!!!!!!!

                          For a ISO 9001 company of KK birla group with the logo " For people who do not compromise " and having export oriented furniture , this is the most foolish reason ever heard.

                          Now as well I have been repeatedly calling Mr Dastagir , but no response.

                          I need response to
                          Fix the furniture and take the remaining amount. or
                          Refund my money back. and take back the box pack
                          If this complaint is not responded , I will have no choice but to launch a consumer court complaint against
                          Zuari Furniture ,Ameen and Company and your manager Mr.Dastagir. for
                          Cheating ,false promises and providing a box piece which has incorrect panels
                          Frustration and harrasement and waste of time and money.

                            Very poor quality & pathetic service

                            Hi, this is Vik...we bought 2 wardrobes, a double-bed cot & a small dressing table from one of the dealers in Banasvadi, Bangalore (Maharaja Furnitures)...the furniture quality is just absolutely rubbish, there were enormous billing issues with the dealer - we came to know from the company engineer that the dealer had charged us at least 15% extra than what the furniture was actually worth - we were promised a different set of wardrobes...

                            I had booked one wall unit (no.957, vide bill no.1168, dtd[protected] from Usha agencies, Chennai. I was promised delivery and assembly within one week. Since I had to go outstation due to official work, I had requested to deliver the product within one week without fail. But inpite of my repeated request for the past 4 days, to deliver the product before I could leave outstation, it was given a dumb ear. I had requested even the Regional marketing incharge of Chennai, but he seemed to be helpless and had to obey the dealer. Even thou it is brila group company there is hadly any commitment or custome service from company. Beware of buying the product from unknown delars since you may have to shed additional Rs.500 for follow up.

                            Bought new sofa worth Rs.35000/- last year and its seats (foam) got compressed within a year, now its not worth sitting , don;t know what to do with it

                              Sir,
                              My name is Vikas Bulani. I had purchased a 4-door wardrobe from Indiabulls Store, Ahmedabad on 6th August 08.

                              Today on 4th Sep 2008, I found that one of the auto hinges had got detached from one of the doors. This should not have actually happened in such a short time of less than one month.

                              I am completely dissatisfied with the product and would like Zuari to take it back and refund my money gracefully, or else I would be compelled to take a legal route. I do not want any kind of replacement or repair as this has happened in less than a month.

                              we took a computer table and a chair from a dealer in sri nagar colony hyderabad
                              The table's lock came out with the key and the chair uplifter got jammed and it got stuck.i m unable to sit on the computer due to this.
                              we took these funitures three months back.we had gone to so many furniture stores before we took it from zuari.we never wanted any cheap furniture hence spend so much on this.but after all this we are seriously dissappionted .i regret taking it from zuari.

                              I'm Annie from Kolkatta, i've been using Zuari products for last 6 years and i've not witnessed any of these problems as said by you. And it is worthier to say that my 3 Door wardrobe has not even got a single problem in all this 6 years.

                              Your's should have been 1 in thousands, and seems to be easily solvable.Relax...
                              I have buy a zuari LM HI BK MGR CHAIR 998916. after 8 months compalints starts. first damaged the back seat . they changed after one month reported the complaint. in 10th month sitting part cusine damaged and left side arm rest broken. i have complaint this issue on july 1st week. till today the 14th of October 2010.. NO repair or rectify the problem. I have approached the dealer several times ( 120 days) do not do anything.
                              This is not correct. I THINK INDIAS VERY POOR QUALITY FURNITURES IS ZUARI>

                              Hi my name is Ajay. For more then 3 years i am using zuari computer table, and just 1 1/2 year back i bought Zuari 3 door cupboard for my son. Till date I have had no problem. Initially when the computer table arrived at my place, the top had slight damage, i refuse to sign the delivery challen.

                              It also depends on from where u are buying your Zuari Product. Buy product from Zuari Dealer, who is only selling Zuari Product, as he is more focused on 1 product he can service u better

                              The best way to buy a Zuari product is whichever store or mall you select it from, ask the dealer to deliver the same product as on display (after thorougly checking the product yourself). The best way is to get the consignment packed and transported infront of oneself. I know its hard to convince the dealer. But the 2 Zuari products that we purchased from hyper market, we insisted that whatever product we ve selected we want its delivery right away even if the dealer had to remove it from display. Believe it or not, the products got delivered and quality not so surprisingly is very good.
