We had bought a ZUARI wardrobe which was supposed to be termite proof and in just 10 months we saw that the wardrobe was damaged by the termites inspite of the company claiming that it was termite resistant. We made a complaint to Mr. Raghavendra Singh (Area manager) Uttaranchal region on call and email both, but he did not provided a timely response. Then after 6 months he said to get in touch with Mr. Uma Mahesh in Chennai(India Head) and we did the same and forwarded the complaint to him on both phone and email. But since last 3 months still we have not got any response from them and when we speak to Mr. Uma he says he has requested Mr. Raghavendra to action, but Mr. Raghavendra denies that he has received any such notification from Mr. Uma. In short after a waiting period of more than 10 months since the compalint was made, it feels that they just want to make a fool o[censored]s and continue with the same attitude. Both of these contacts are on a very good position in the organization, but the kind of response from them is simply depicting how the ZUARI company is running its operations in India with such leads who are not even responsible for their actions and commitments they make. Please share me your email address where I can forward the entire email communication done with Mr. Raghavendra and Mr. Uma Mahaesh.

I would request all the people, who are coming to know about ZUARIs such response & service quality, kindly, circulate to all & advise them not to buy ZUARI products.

    I am a retired senior citizen. I had queen size steel cot with mattresses and wanted to exchange that for King size with mattresse for getting more space. When we visited your show room at velachery we could not see any king size model .Your Executive suggested we buy 2 cots of optima model, which is supposed to be most popular. Since our cot had hydraulic lift with complete storage he suggested we buy side draws.We agreed and ordered vide invoice 01003 on 3-4-15.Delivery was assured in 6 days.I paid Rs 47000. When the cots were delivered we were in for rude shocks.Pillows were not supplied. There was almost 5" gap between the cots after assembly. How can we sleep in such cots? We reported our predicament to your shop. They then suggested we go for king size optima with half hydraulic storage...frankly we had no choice but to agree. Now the cots have come...however the Godrej mattress is yet to be received. We have been given Kurlon mattress as stop gap...we had bad experience with kurlon ..so we need only Godrej. Moreover since the cot ultimately supplied is a single cot with half hydraulic against two cots with 2 draws there should be some price reduction also. Can you please solve my problem immediately. It is 24 days since we ordered and we are still to get a solution. I have highest regards for Zuari group. Please do not let me down. R Santhanam [protected], chennai

      I PURCHASED A ZUARI COT MODEL-BOGATTO ON[protected] AT SARAVAN STORES CHENNAI, PERSON NAMED RAJU CAME AND FITTED THE COT WHILE FIITTING ITSELF THERE WAS FEW CRACKS ON THE HEADBOARD AND THE COT WAS NOT FITTED PROPERLY THAT PERSON HAD FITTED IT WITH USE OF L CLAMPS AND HE TOLD THAT HE WILL TELL THE COMPANY TO REPLACE THE COT NEXT DAY I SPOKEN TO MR. EDWIN AND HE TOLD THAT HE WILL SEND THE PERSON AND HE WILL REPLACE THE COT BUT NO ONE CAME AFTER THAT I HAVE ALSO ATTACHED THE PHOTOS... AND 15TH APRIL IN OUR AREA THERE WAS HEAVY RAIN AND WATER CAME INSIDE THE HOUSE AND COT GOT FULLY DAMAGED SO KINDLY REPLACE THE COT ON PRIORITY BASIS...IT NOT EVEN ONE MONTH JUST NOW I BOUGHT THE COT AND I'M NOT USING IT AT ALL...KINDLY CONTACT ME MY NO IS [protected]/[protected]@gmail.com

      I ordered for 2 nos Optima cots with side draws in exchange for my queen size steel cot. In their show room optima cots were not displayed.
      When they were delivered it was noticed that there is 5" gap between 2 cots...How can they be used?
      So they took them back and have supplied King size optima cot.
      They are yet to supply Godrej mattress ordered along with cot.
      Pillow are yet to be delivered.
      They are not talking about the reduction in price due to change from 2 cots with side draws to king size cot with half hydraulic storage.
      I paid Rs 47000. They have taken away my steel cot.
      They have given kurlon mattress as temporary solution.
      It is 24 days since I paid.
      Will they please solve my problem.

        I purchased my black colour sofa set from western india showroom in Begusarai district of Bihar last year in June 2014. The sofa long one has developed a crack in its stich portion. I have made a complaint with the local dealer who is the new dealer of Zuari in begusarai but there does not seem any progress on the issue of my complaint.           it is about zuari furniture, sambalpur mobile no [protected] i had ordered the stuff on 7th, got all the delivery on 21st after several call which was promised to be delivered on 9th. the guy told me about warm blood and cold blood. finally he didnt even send anyone to fit the mirror. will never go for zuari again for zuai. u ppl dont knw how to behave forget abt service

            Sir, I purchase a Zuari chair code no- 916 from Wood Craft, Nala Road, Patna on dated 7/04/2014 at 7.30 Pm. Bill was not generated due to unavability of staff they say bill was sent to you at the time of delivery of chair. On dated 08/04/2014 Wood Craft delivery man (Thelawala) was deliver chair to my building security guard. When i see the chair the right handle of the chair is damaged and the sitting portion of chair is damaged which is informed to wood craft. They assured me that currently this product is not available after avability of the product i replace the same please talk after 2 week. Again we call they say send the chair and i sent chair on dated 26/05/2014 as requested. But till yet they are not deliver my chair. after calling they say i repair the some part if you wish to use collect from my shop. They also talk to me the Company did not provide Guarantee. Finally after repair wood craft deliver me my chair on dated 13/01/2015 with same problem, now i am depressed after paying Rs 7000/- for a bad and poor quality chair

                We purchased the sofa set of Zuari (ZDX SOFA SET(BURGANDY)) on 19th April 2013. A small part in the left side of the hand rest part of the sofa set was toured in September 2013. We started calling Innveriew Kakkanad regarding this from October to fix this. They informed us that they will send their representative to fix this. Two of the representative came and took photo of the sofa set in November 1st week. There was no update on anything from the side of Innerview. We called them continuously and after their answer was that they will take the sofa set to their company and fix it. They never came to take the sofa set. And after a long wait, on 8th January 2014 they came and took the sofa set with them. Again there was no response from Innerview. In March 2014 they returned the product after fixing the problem. Again in April 2014, the same area torn again which had problem before. We contacted Innerview again in April 2014 and finally they took the sofa set on 17th May 2014. And from that point of time to till now the sofa set is with them. I have used the sofa set for a total of 5 months in this span of 1.6 years. And now Innerview claims that we are out of warranty period and we need to pay them cash inorder to fix it. And finally after talking to Zuari Area manager they promised me a replacement of the sofa with a 3 door wardrobe. We went to innerview shop and selected the wardrobe of the same amount. They gave us the order form and they promised me delivery on the next date. Now they are saying they can't give us the wardrobe, you can contact the consumer court.

                    Think twice buying from Zuari. The quality is so pathetic and there is no response from Zuari customer service so far. I've decided to repair the chair locally spending out of my pocket. Please check my earlier post for the pictures of the chair I bought. Good Bye Zuari!!!

                      I bought a High Back Chair at Thanjavur through a Zuari Dealer and I'm very disappointed with the quality of the chair. It's not even a year the chair is in a pathetic condition. I almost spent Rs 9000/- to buy this chair but the quality didn't do any justice. Almost three weeks back, I sent a complaint regarding the same with the pictures to their manufacturing unit located at Thiruvallur and followed up with many calls. Unfortunately the issue is not resolved yet and every time when I call they promise me it will be taken care but no action as of now.

                        I presently have a wall unit code 953 and a corner stand. I have shifted residence from kochi to Karwar. For dismantling of the unit at kochi the response was excellent. However i have been in my new residence for the last three days and trying to get in touch with some zuari rep but unable to do so. The customer service numbers are also not working...I require a person to install my wall unit and stand at my new residence urgently. Pse do the needful and send a representative ASAP.                           I ordered for a study table & chair on Zuari Furniture, Velachery, Chennai on 10th May, 2014 but the chair was not delivered even now after 10 days. The study table was also delivered after 8 days only. Their showroom personnels are unresponsive. They have promised refund of money after much shouting and head aches. But till now they haven't given it back.

                            I purchased a zuari bed 7 years ago. Recently one side support of the furniture got broken. Placed requisition with cu stomer care four months back. But No delivery till date. Neither they say that the part is not replaceable nor they are supplying. No other company is ready to manufacture. So a bed worth Rs 50000.00 is of no use.This is the end of a modular furniture. Since last four months I am feeling to be tortured by Zuari. SEEING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE FURNITURE AS WELL AS THE CCOMPANY'S SINCERETY, NO BODY SHOULD BUY ANY MODULAR FURNITURE AND THAT TOO FROM ZUARI.

                            Zuari Furnitures — Chair seat quality very poor and no service

                            Hi,

                            I had bought Zuari dining table set and the chair was of bad quality found and the seats were coming out along with the handles.

                            after lot of complaint to the local supplier National Furniture on Sarjapur Road Bangalore, no action was taken.

                            Although this still under company one year warranty but no service provided.

                              My name is N.Bhavani.Iam from kharagpur, west bengal.we 've bought a Zuari 4 door wardrobe in October of 2012.The day of fitting the wardrobe till now we are suffering. Firstly yhe doors were not closing properly and small insects and lizards are entering inside the wardrobe. We complained about the problem to the shopkeeper of Deluxe Furniture, gole bazar from where we bought it for an amount of Rs.22000/-.After so many months he sent a person for attatching the wardrobe properly.He did the same and went away saying that there should be no problem from then onwards.But we observed the problem remains same and this time we again complained to the shopkeeper and also we talked to some representative of the company in kolkata too.And again after few months the so called person from kolkata arrived and told that the fitting was wrong and he attatched it again.But the problem of fungus cant be solved permanantly as by his words.Soon after that we noticed that the ply which was given at the base of the wardrobe which supports that to stand was bended.This time we rushed to the shopkeeper again and told about this.Then some of his persons working there in the shop came after so many days to see the problem and went away saying that we should talk to the manager in kolkata of the company. We are giving complaints about it from the same month.And another major problem in that is some kind of fungus occurring inside and outside the wardrobe even after cleaning it daily.And finally after almost one year the concerned person from kolkata came and checked it.When he came to check it both sides at the base the ply was bended and the doors were also not closing properly. He promised us to solve the problems and change the base completely by attatching new ply.And from then onwards we are calling daily for it to the shopkeeper and the concerned person from kolkata. Meanwhile the shopkeeper totally washed his hands by simply saying that we should directly talk to the customer care and solve the problem. His attitude towards us was very very pathetic. After investing such a huge amount and it's of no use we were almost finished. Now the wardrobe is in a very worst Condition and about to fall at any time.We asked the shopkeeper to take the wardrobe back and adjust the amount by giving us something else in the next month of purchase itself. But he refused to do that and we wonder how could he be so careless towards customers. We tried to call n complain about this to the head office of zuari and the toll free number also but invain.They are not responding the calls. Even the so called manager who visited to see the condition of wardrobe is also not responding now.After our continuous calls daily he promised that yesterday his person was coming to set that.We waited for him the whole day and after evening he just switched off his mobile and not responding.We are regretting now to invest such a huge amount where we got only wastage of place.We haven't used it for the purpose we 've bought it.We cant keep anything in that and even we cant move that.Its a big wastage of money and place in the home.Now I decided not to tolerate it anymore as we were cheated clearly. Please help me in this regard and now I dont want any kind of repairs or exchange as I suffered a lot mentally too.Now I purely want my money back at any circumstances.                                 I, Sunil Kr Singh, bought a dining table of brand zuari on 30/10/2013 from Zuari & Zuari shop located at patal babu road, bhagalpur.some defects are found at the time of delivery and when I contact to the dealer his replies are not satisfactory.He suggested to compromise on the loss.Following defects are found as follows:- 1.small crack is found on glass top. 2.defects are found in dining chairs(chairs are not in level). As per your service condition, furniture are delivered free of cost to nearby locations but dealer charged me for that too. Details of furniture- Model-Venilla dining set 6 sitter.

                                  This complaint is regarding the supply of defective bed and side table(Code no-655 and 743038) which I bought on 5th may 2013. After repeated reminders to your dealer Index furniture center, 129-A Malviya Nagar, Udyog Bhavan near nanke petrol pump in Bhopal Madhya Pradesh there is no response so far after repeated promises of repairs or replacement. Till date my problem has not been addressed by the dealer or the Area sales manager Mr.Bhavesh Kumar Kothari -[protected] of your company. In absence of any response from your side also we will be compelled to go to the consumer forum for solution of problem. Its my humble request to kindly direct me or dealer to get a solution of problem we are facing. It is expected that you will respond in 2 days from this complaint.                                     We have purchased Zuari Cot on 16-MAR-2013 bill no. 850 at M/s Sri Venkateswara after short listing various available models. At the time of fixing /installing the cot at our premises, it has been observed that head board of the cot is damaged at the bottom of the board –(may be due to transit from factory to stockist) and asked the fitter not to fix the damaged board, the fitter has taken the photograph of the damaged part and left. Later on after few days the dealer has updated to get the old ‘head board’ to be fixed for temporary basis and assured that the new ‘head board’ will be provided post inquiring from the Zuari stockist at Hyderabad. However till date we have not received the new head board proper response from the dealer. We even called up thrice the Zuari customer care number +91 – [protected] but the only response we got is stock of the mentioned cot is not available will fix up whenever it arrives. Nearly its 3 months gone either the Dealer nor the Customer care had responded to our vows.
                                    So Zuari customer care please awake and do the needful at the earliest.

                                    Zuari double cot — delay in delivery

                                    I purchased one Zuari double cot with head storage and one side storage from Furniture zone , Pursalwakkam high road,Kellys,chennai. Payment was made in full on 7.10.2009. Double cot was delivered in a week time. But even after repeated reminders , side storage is not deliverred so far. On contacting , Mr. Vikas-contact person is postponing the delivery stating that , it will be delivered today.Same dialogue several times. The product was purchased in the name of ONGC A/C Anil Kumar. Your intervention in this regard is requested.

                                      I had purchased X-Leg Dining Set(H4) 4'3" X 3'1" through Furniture House,1458 Garia Main Road, Kolkata-700084;mobile no: [protected] on17/08/2011. One of the wooden support of the chair seat has broken in APRIL'2012 and from then onwards I have been calling the above showroom to rectify the damage or replace, but they have been dilly dallying me with some pretext or another for the past9 months and have not rectified the same.Lastly on 07/01/2013 they gave me the mobile no of one Mr.VIVEK([protected]) from Zuari customer care. I rang up 4 to 5times Mr.Vivek to rectify the same, but until now no person from Zuari has shown up.Please do the necessary at the earliest to make good my loss with so low quality furniture made by your so called esteemed ZUARI FURNITURE.

                                      I purchased 6 sitter Dining table Model no..D P 303(1+6) Zuari made from authorised dealer Haflong, Assam.Two of the chairs are broken and defective. In spite of my complaint for rectification of damage or replacement. until now authorized dealers have fail to rectify

                                        We bought a Zuari queen bed from Hypercity , Kundalahalli Bangalore. Just after a month of buying the bed, the back rest came out. We complained to the Hypercity people 3 - 4 times , someone came and somehow attached the back restto the bed. The very next day , it came out again. When we again complained , they redirected us to the Zuari ppl who in turn told us that it cannot be fixed and they cannot do anything as its
                                        now 2 yrs have passed. We told them that we had complained right after we bought the bed but it ws of no use. They are adamant that they cannot do anything
