I bought a TV stand from a shop claiming to be Furniture Zone in Besant Nagar, Chennai. They claimed it is from Zuari Furniture. I paid in the shop and didn't get a proper bill ( Unsigned and without proper shop name). On delivery, I found that the furniture is scratched and they did not fix it properly. The magnets to hold the glass came off on the same day of delivery. The person who delivered it asked me to contact Mr Rafiq ( +91 [protected]) for customer care. I have contacted Mr Rafiq and Zuari customer care several times without any proper response. I not even sure if it is really Zuari furniture. Plz be careful if you are buying furniture from Furniture Zone in Chennai or from Zuari furniture. They don't have any after sales customer responsibility whatsoever and are unwilling to do service once money is taken.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    We recently (in November) purchased on bed (order date was around 16 November). The dealer Mr. Rai (contact number: [protected]), first misleaded us to buy a bed with wrong information. We ordered the complete set of bed, with drawer and headbox. But, what we got delivered was without the drawer.

    When we went to talk to Mr. Rai, he started arguing in raised voice and accepted that he lied. In his words: "Yes, I lied, what will you do?"

    In addition to this, the bed we got, had one part (from the head box) broken. We're still trying to receive the replcement for this part. Mr. Rai keeps avoiding our calls.

    We've experienced highly unethical behavior from this dealer. Need intervention.
    Our order was in the name of my father: R D Mandal.

      Hi, we have got a tv cabinet from ZUARI FURNITURE velachery... The person who sold it to us is ANWAR. The person was sent from the dealer at Velachery...He broke the cabinet glass while assembling the cabinet..Anwar said, he wil send a new glass to be replaced n fixed the next day.. Its more than 1 and 1//2 months, still no response from the dealer. He does'nt attend the call or he says he has sent the person but we are not available.. We are always available 24/7... Why such a poor service from Zuari..Nearly all our relatives and friends have decided to purchase from zuari after seeing it at our house as we have bought all the furniture, wardrobe from zuari for nearly 5 lakhs.. I have told ALL MY RELATIVES N FRIENDS NOT TO GET IT FROM ZUARI BECOS OF SUCH A POOR SERVICE.... REALLY ANWAR GOT FULL MONEY BUT DINT REPLACE THE GLASS.. EXPECTING IT TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY..

        We bought a Zuari 2 Door wardrobe from National Furniture BTM layout Bangalore on 29.01.2012 and within a couple of months 3 hinges of the right hand side door have come off. Despite following up with the seller on more than half a dozen occasions and with Zuari on three occasions, there is absolutely no attempt on the part of either seller or the company i.e. Zuari to repair the wardrobe.
        The experience has been really bad and discouraging.

        The order/bill details are as follows - 148/29.01.2012 from National Furniture (Dealer Zuari Furniture).

          i chandan chakraborty on 14Aug 2012, purchased a Juari 3 door wardrobe from Mobel furniture ,Madhyamgram.The material costed me 16690/- . At the time of booking there was a flex add of the juari company displaying a shoe rack free with the purchase of 13000/- and above product. When I demanded the shoe rack ,they immediately removed the the add flex and informed me that the offer is over .I doubt something fishy and would like to know from the Juari company .

            The best way to buy a Zuari product is whichever store or mall you select it from, ask the dealer to deliver the same product as on display (after thorougly checking the product yourself). The best way is to get the consignment packed and transported infront of oneself. I know its hard to convince the dealer. But the 2 Zuari products that we purchased from hyper market, we insisted that whatever product we ve selected we want its delivery right away even if the dealer had to remove it from display. Believe it or not, the products got delivered and quality not so surprisingly is very good.
            Otherwise the chances are that you will be cheated both in the quality of product as well as quality of delivery.

              I have purchase zuari sofa from hyper city DB mall Bhopal as per guarantee or warrant of sofa is 1 year . After 3 months sofa leather got cracked near stiches after many complain personal visit company person come to see sofa after three month's.
              Company employee come & take sofa for three day's in worksop and just stiched leather by hand badly just all stiched are open and again leather cracked near stiched .
              And right now no one entertain us or any solution by Zuari or Hyper city Bhopal.

              Sir,

              I have booked a sofa in Zuari furniture on july 23rd, at Chennai, which was to be delivered last Saturday as promised. I went to the dealers place for around three times, but its of no use. I don't know who'll deliver and when?

                We bought a Zuari Cot from Zuari dealer. We never thought the Furniture will be so light that it cant even tolerate the Mattress weight.
                such a worst Product. If they claim for warranty, will they replace the item and give us better Cot ?
                The Cot style which we bought had small legs in the middle, First day, Midnight we heard a sound and saw these small legs moved its positions and after 3 days all fell down. now our cot is looking like a U shaped Cot !!!!
                Such a waste Product they are delivering. Please do not buy Zuari products.

                  Purchased a sofa from the authorize dealer SUVAM Enterprises( cuttack), where the dealer saying big things but cheated me charging more on MRP. Cprepare the bill on list price & when I received the material at home the MRP sticker over cartoon is Rs. 3000/ less. Drop a complain mail to company customer care , call several times but still awaiting a reply. This is response from big brands. Cheater

                    i had bought a zuari bed and after few months of its delivery the bed had some fitting problem and i have called up zuari many a times and also complained to the dealer from whom i had bought the bed to send some person to look into the matter however i have been put down by them always. They have told me that the person will be sent within 24 hours but no one has ever come up, it is the most pathetic and ugly service i have ever seen. I would advise people to never buy zuari furniture.

                      I have booked one wall unit on 20/04/12 & one dining table after getting confirmation that it is readily available. I have paid full amount 36,000 in cash. After a long delay they supplied one wall unit in assembled condition, which was totally damaged and which was in some display. I immediately spoken to the Area Sales Manager Mr.Haribasker and he agreed to replace it. But after one month also, I could not get the replacement and Mr. Hari Baskar is not lifting the phone. When I spoke to Custome care also, there is no response. Finally I have to fight with the dealer and get my money back by sending the wall unit back. In the case of Dining table, they atleast supplied in a packed condition after 15 days delay. But the quality was so poor that I wanted a replacement for 2 chairs. But till now no response from Zuari or Haribaskar. Now again I am fighting with the dealer to refund my money back & take the furniture back. I will never buy any Zuari furniture & I will nit recommend anybody to buy it.

                      different dealers are providing their own price rather than the zuari company price .they are not providing with clear details about the products which is unsatisfying me and which is leading to delay to buy.

                        I have purchased Zuari's 3 door wardrobe about 9 months back. The quality is wardrobe is so poor that within 2 months from the date of purchase the hinge of the 1 door broke off and as of now all my 3 door's hinge are broken. i have been complaining to the local dealer from the last 3-4 months but no action has been taken from their end till date. They promised to replace the doors but nothing have happened till now. I am very annoyed with the company and will not suggest anyone to purchase products of ZUARI.

                          I had recently bought a zuari computer table (23rd). After paying the full amount, I was told the delivery will be the next day. The next I called up the sales rep (Varun) and he mentioned that he will deliver it the day after and will confirm that in 10mins. I did not receive any calls, and upon calling him up the next day, I was told " please don't call me...I'm only a sales guy....do what you can or who you want to report to...I don't care"... I spoke with the area sales manager, Hari Bhaskar, and he assured it will be delivered the next day. It's been 3 days since and now he is also not answering calls on his cellphone.

                          Stuck with zuari having paid the money in full.

                            I am Mrs A Kidder from Ramgarh. I bought two Zuari wardrobes from Akansha Furnitures at Ramgarh. They sent two defective wardrobes and insist that I keep them inspite of my telling them again and again to take them back.There is polish defect, doors are defective, no keys have been supplied etc.I am not interested in buying defective pieces.I am told that the polish defect is manufacturing defect. Whatever it is I am being forced to pay for defective goods. Help!!!

                                I had booked a ZUARI TOPPER dining table set at an exibition sale organised by their distributor M/S INNER VIEW at ERNAKULAM on 23/12/2011 vide their order No 575. After an inordinate delay and that too after repeated reminders it was delivered on 20/01/2012 (invoice no 283). Now I find that the legs of the chairs are loose and wobbly.I had complained to the distributor about this about a week back and they promised to send someone to rectify this defect. Till date no one has turned up and I am afraid somebody is going to fall. Then it becomes a different matter altogether. SUDHEER. My E Mail ID is [protected]@yahoo.com.

                                  I had placed an order for ZUARI Furniture - BOOKSHELFS and others from FURNITURE SHOPPE, Goregaon W Mumbai 400 090 Tel 6581 4441 on 22/5/2011.

                                  Balance amount of Rs. 36,000 / paid by ICICI Cheque dt 25/5/11.

                                  Now it is observed that in one of the Bookshelf (502), on left panel from bottom at @ 6" crack is developed on the panel. It is informed to dealer @ 5 days back to look into matter for replacement.

                                  Now it is observed that in another Bookshelf (502), from the unit white powder is coming out, it seems that product is not of international quality and it is not termite /borer proof. It is informed to dealer @ 5 days back to look into matter for replacement.

                                    I have a complain against the dealer of Zuari in Belgaum as well as the company. I had bought 3 door wardrobe from a dealer (D.N. Associates) on 29th June 2010 in Belgaum, when it was received and assembled it did not have proper locks nor the alignment of the door was right. I had requested the dealer to fix it, but till date the work is not done. I am tired of telling him. I don't know what can be done so that my problem is solved.

                                    zuari/ — mirror broken

                                    mirror got broken and now want to replace the mirror. pl arrange to provide the contact details for the immidiate replacement.

                                    Zuari — No service to repair

                                    I have requested Zuari showroom to send someone to fix the broken parts of cot several times. Everytime I get the assurance that they will send someone but still waiting after one year.

                                      I had purchased a TV stand unit through Jayalkshmi industries, Nampally road, Hyderabad a couple of days ago. Till date the unit is not delivered though full payment has been made. The dealer and the Zuari company are throwing the blame on each other for the delay. This is not the first time experience for me. The management of Zuari Furniture should take notice of the complaints appearing in the net. I advise those wishing to buy Zuari furniture to look for another brand as you are never sure of delivery of the item bought.

                                        On 22nd May we had visited the Furniture Expo organised by Time of India in Palace Grounds in Bangalore. We visited a furniture stall of FURNITURE PALACE and ordered for a ZUARI SHOE RACK. An advance of Rs.500/- was paid and they promised to deliver on 25th May. It was not delivered on 25th May and when we keep calling the person who took the order in the stall Mr.Mahendra, he states he is on leave and gives an irresponsible answer. Every day we had followed up for the delivery and they either did not pick calls or gave false promises. Finally the product was delivered in a knocked down state on 28th May. The took the balance amount form my aged father in law and left without assembling the product. We are still following up with the genleman Mahendra and now he is not responding to the calls also. We had infact told him to take back the product and return back the money.

                                        Till date they have not been responding to calls nor the product has been assembled. This shows the poor service orientation of Furniture Palace and the non responsiveness to the consumers needs. Once the money is in their pockets , they do not bother about the customer .

                                        What do we do about such business houses who are not bothered about the customers ? They need to be taken to task.

                                        I appeal to the people who are particular about service not to enter such business establishments and suffer how we are undergoing even after payinng the money for the product.
