Asus is not providing warranty support on purchased Asus wireless Router

I have purchased Asus RT N 16 router, which still has 15 months of warranty period left. Now the device has stopped working, when i contacted the local Service/RMA center, they are saying the device can not be repaired and they are offering a cash refund which is much less than my purchase invoice. I need to understand that as a customer what is the benefit I get by paying extra price and buying product with original bill and paying...

Bad servicing

I gave my FONEPAD to ASUS service within warranty period & they gave me after warranty has expired, by replacing motherboard, as i was told. after 2 days it was not working properly, the issue had come with battery . Thery are charging me Rs.9000 for motherboard (as they gave me new mother in warranty period and after 2 days it was not working properly.), RS. 2980 for battery ( as battery was working properly before giving to servicing)...

I want to upgrade my ram to from 2GB to 6GB
