[Resolved]  Whirlpool India — a liar company

i was also having problem with my refrigerator. no to this company.

PATHETIC RESPONSE AND MISREPRESENTATION BY WHIRLPOOL, INDIA -CUSTOMER CARE

1 I had purchased a Whirlpool Ice Magic FF 350 REFRIGERATOR Serial No JH 4228703 on 24 May 2005 . At the present point of time the refrigerator is not in the guarantee period but being insured it was deposited with the authorised Whirlpool repair agency ie the Customer Care Service Center ( Plot No 78, Industrial Area Phase 2 ) at Chandigarh, India for repairs . Bill No 3929 dated 19 July 2013 for Rs 7300 refers.A record of e mails and telephonic conversations with Whirlpool SOS Team and Help desk, India is also available.

2 The refrigerator has been partially repaired and I have been told by the Service Center that the defective CONTROL PANEL( for Electronic Monitoring) cannot be repaired even though the Insurance Company is ready to pay for the repairs.

3 All sort of frivolous reasons are being given by their untrained mechanic including that '' the refrigerator has been modified to exclude this component!!'' . This is preposterous.Page 8 of the manual clearly gives the functions of this important component .It is obvious that the technician has damaged the refrigerator while repairing it.

4 I have given numerous telephone calls and emails which are all on record, to the Customer Care and the Whirlpool SOS Team but have received no response from them and they are ignoring the issue as the repair agency appears to be in cahoots with their Customer Care.Apparently the Service Centre and the Whirlpool Customer Care expect me to accept a partially repaired refrigerator. I have a record of the entire transaction .

5 As instructed, I had also registered my complaint with Whirlpool Customer Care. The details, as received from one Mr Avnish, a Whirlpool employee, are as follows-

6 I also wish to bring to your notice that the local Chandigarh authorised dealer once gave a telephone call at about 1600 hours on 13 August 2013 and told me that the ELECTRONIC CONTROL PANEL cannot be repaired and that the authorised mechanic has done a 'modification' . It is most unfortunate that a satisfactory redressal of my complaint has not been given . As mentioned earlier, the Control Panel' is an integral part of the refrigerator and is still defective and the authorised dealer is refusing to repair it stating that he has done a modification where-by the Control Panel need not function . What is more disturbing is that the Whirlpool, India team is equally culpable in committing this breach of faith.

7 Kindly appreciate that that Whirlpool is an international brand and such poor response only reduces the credibility of the Company.Kindly send an independent representative or Customer Care Executive to verify the facts on ground . It is obvious that your local dealer is giving a wrong picture.

8 Unfortunately, every time I ring up Customer Care, I am told --''we will get back to you'' and there after no reply is received and the emails have gone un -answered. I can provide the names of all the persons who have taken the telephone calls for the last one month promising that either the item will be repaired or they will provide a written statement of 'non repairable item'' to facilitate my claim for insurance. Kavita, Varun, Chetan, Rohit, Neha, Avnish, ( Mr Sachin, who kept the matter pending, as told by the others) --all employee's in the customer care and SOS Team who had assured me that either the item will be repaired or a written statement will be given for an insurance claim.. After a months wait I am now being told by these very Company representatives that the refrigerator, not being in the guarantee period, the Company is not responsible for any misdemeanour by their Dealers and the refrigerator being an old model, defective components are not available.Nothing in written will be provided!!!

I purchased a washing machine on 2.6.2013. it worked well for few months. later a chain of problems started. I approached local dealer but he directed me to district dealer.both started to dodge. till today ur machine is under repair. Customers are innocents. Dont cheat and dont recruit cheats as ur dealer. a word of reply is apprecited. Dr Shashidhar
I'm Sundar Gajendran, I bought whirlpool A/C on 6 month back... Now that number board was empty, the reason is rat Bitten the wires, they said will change that free of cost but now asking 1500+ charge...

leg of refrig. got faulty.

one of the leg of whirlpool refrigerator model genius 230 Ltrs. got faulty. Please arrange to rectified it.
