Whirlpool 1. 5 Ton Ac Elite — POOR QUALITY AND REPAIR SERVICE
I had purchased Whirlpool 1.5 ton Elite on 24th June 08. In May 2009 the gas leaked, but was subsequently filled up .Immediately after, the AC started making a noise, which the engineer called it as reinstallation problem. The nut/bolt had been broken when the AC was taken to the service centre.Again in June 1st week it was picked up and welding was done with an assurance that it will run noise free.
After 3 days noise is back. The engineer visited promptly and showed that the welding was of poor quality and it had given away. The marks left on the body are also visible.
The problem is still not sorted out and nobody is listening.Complaint has been lodged again .
I also found out that the front grill had a crack which was cleverly camouflaged with a cream coloured tape.Had it not been for their own person, we would have never come to know.
I like a fool have just recently purchased another whirlpool product a, washing machine.
It looks like I will have to approach the consumer forum.Incidentally they also took an AMC for my AC for 2 years . Seems they have crooks working for them.

It's a damn worst company to buy any product from them, First they wont attend the problem for 10-15days, if they attend it wont solved, and every time they will come your house and doing nothing, these are the good tricks of generating money.They have good team o[censored]nqulaified servive peoples, for not solving the problem. The best way is to go to cosumer court against them.
I have faced lots of trauma by these peoples and this company. You buy anything but dont buy whirlpool product.
My split a/c is not working fine. it all happened after i got wet service done from the company.

Whirlpool Rerigerator — Not honouring Court Orders
I had purchased a double door refrigerator in 2003 of above company. It was found defective. Company had not heard any thing. At last I had to file case in Consumer Forum Solan HP. In 2007 forum had directed the company to replace the defective peice pay the cost price along with intererst @9% p.a. But the company has neither replaced the fefected item nor refunded the cost as directed by the Forum till dateWhirpool Mastermind 1.5 ton AC — COMPLAINT AGAINST WHIRLPOOL FOR NON STANDARD AND FAULTY PRODUCT AND NOT ATTENDING COMPLAINT FOR LAST 03 MONTHS
I had purchased a whirlpool 1.5 ton AC, model "Mastermind " from ShyamLal & Sons, Sadar Bazaar, New Delhi on 23 Mar 2009.After repeated
requests for a demonstration of the same, the demonstration was made
available after 28 days of purchasing the product. The AC itself
started malfunctioning within 02 days of its installation. The same
was conveyed to the dealer but the dealer kept on giving excuses that
it would be attended by the company rep soon. The remote became non
functional and even the compressor of the AC was randomly switching on
and off making the equipment unfit for use in the peak of summers.The
AC was also making an abnormal sound during running. All these were
shown to the Whirlpool representative during his visit for
demonstration, and he promptly noted the same and said that the PCB of
the AC will have to be changed. Thereafter the AC was unfit for use
from April end 2009. Repeated complaints have been made to the
whirlpool company through their help line but till date the complaint
has not been attended to. The last unattended existing complaint no is
DL[protected] dated 27 May 2009. A fresh complaint for the same has
been made regularly every week but till date the problem has not been
attended to. Besides that every week a dead line is promptly given by
your executives giving an assurance that the complaint will be
attended but no body turns up for the same.
I have had enough complaints given to your company and now after 03
months I am going to the consumer court to file a suite against your
company for selling such non standard products to the Indian market,
not attending to customer complaints and also will be claiming a
compensation for not being able to use the AC when it was required in
the peak of summer.

I had purchased Whirlpool Washing Machine -Sparkle on 2nd April'07. Company personal has come to demonstrate the product at my home, but they have not told us that out of 3 motors only 2 are running at that time. When my wife has specifically asked for the same company personal has told that the same is working like this only and it is normal. Today I have faced problem in using the machine, and I have called company personal now they are saying that motor is not working and I need to spend Rs.2200/- for repair of the same. There is very concern of the quality of service.They are saying expense of Rs. 2200/- (i.e. 27.50% of cost of machine) to be incurred in which is in just 2 years.
Cost of Rs. 2200/- for improper demonstration at the time of purchase+ metal agnoy and stress due to non working of washing machine (approx. Rs. 10000/-)

For my parents well being, I had purchased a big size refrigerator.
Since then i am having problem with it.
Once its LCD plate got fused and with no response from company
i got it corrected paying INR 3000.
Even though the fridge is in warranty period
again the same problem has emerged after 2 years
In this hot summers my parents are annoyed by my gift to them
I am very much hurt by this
from last 15 days we had given a complaint at the center.
Everyday the guy takes 2-3 days spare time and does not visit
I am so sorry to say but its true
LG Customer care is excellent
There products are much much better than yours
To any one i will ever meet will not recommend Whirlpool
My father had a talk at your Faridabad office Customer care
No doubt they very well assisted.

I have Whirphool Refrigrator Model FUSION. I refrigerator have problem of cooling. Uptill now 3 compressor has been repalced within 2 months from SWAN Enterprises. Now 4th compressor is already unserveceable. I have logged complaint in customer care, still no response. My complaint No. is PN[protected].
I dont want to repair it again. If possible replacement scheme avaliable with company, then only i am agree to do it. Otherwise give me clearnce that WHIRPHOOL IS NOT ABLE TO REPAIR / REPLACE THE REFRIGERATOR. Then i can go with other company refrigerator.

i have purchased a whirlpool refrigerator 4 years back and the model is ice magic the refrigerator is functioning smoothly from the day one, only it does not de frost the ice even after pusshing the defrost button otherwise the refrigerator is a gem and problem free.i dont know this is a problem or a normal function . to my surprise it consumes very less electricity as compared to the other brands of refrigerator.
one thing is sure that the whirlpool product is great to use but the coustomer service is grade less they are third class on the service.whirlpool has invested much in product design and stability buy not on the coustomer satisfaction
anyhow i can only say that whirlpool is a great product with third class coustomer support

I too have suffered from lack of support / service from Whirlpool. I lodged a complaint with local service centre in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand on 25 May 2009. My microwave fan-motor was not working. The fan-motor took two months to come and my microwave was repaired on 26 July 2009. After that I was handed a whopping bill of Rs 1690 for the motor (about one kilogram of machinery) and Rs 385 for replacement, which required the mechanic to work for not more than 15 minutes. I was never given an estimate and I ended up paying nearly 17.5 % of the purchase cost of the microwave.

I bought Whirlpool fully automatic washing machine from M/S PARAS TRADERS (in Karnal city) on 1st August, 2009.To our surprise, roughly 10 days after the purchase, our machine stopped working completely. We've been contacting the concerned dealer and the service centre to fix the problem for 5 days but to no avail. All we got in response were lame excuses and fake assurances.Its my humble request to the higher authorities of WHIRLPOOL INDIA that they take a serious note of the matter and get the needful done at the earliest.This will help us in maintaining our confidence in WHIRLPOOL.(we've been using WHIRPOOL products for the last 12 years)
Whirlpool Refrigerator 310 Ltrs — Rubbish after sales service
My refrigerator stopped functioning on 3rd Aug 09. I called up the customer care centre for attending the complaint. Company's service technician visited our place on 4th Aug 09 to inspect the nature of fault and charged me a inspection fee of Rs 350.00. As per his inspection, it was a problem of gas leakage. On 5th Aug a service technician from M/s. Indico Engineers who are the authorised service agents for Whirlpool visited to repair the faultHowever the compressor for this model was not available and according to the technician, it would take three days to get a new compressor. On 10th Aug 09, the technician replaced the faulty compressor with a new compressor. In spite of replacing the compressor the refrigerator did not start cooling. On 13th Aug 09 the same technician revisited to clear the fault. However he could not rectify the fault. On 17th Aug 09 after 13 days of reporting the fault I got a phone call from the service centre stating that a technician would visit to attend the pending complaint. We waited till 7.30 in the evening for the service technician to visit. Finally, when we called the service centre, we were told that the complaint will now be attended directly from Whirlpool. I was told that a QA engineer from Whirlpool Pune will come to Mumbai to inspect the fault. Is this a rocket science fault that an engineer is required to come down from Pune to Mumbai It's disgusting that it takes 13 days to attend one complaint.I wish to inform, that on each occassion of the service visit, my wife had to take a days leave from office so that the technician can attend to the fault. This is the first and last time in my life that I will be using any Whirlpool product.
Customers, be aware about the rubbish after sales service. I would say our Indian manufacturers are the best rather than these American companies.
Whirlpool - Microwave oven — Delivery of non working Microwave oven( invoice No: 00457wc)
Hi, i bought the oven from your wanworie branch on14/08/2009.they delivered it on 16/08/2009 in non working condition . even the power is not on. the demo engineer has visited on 17/08/2009. and he said that the machine is faulty and need to replace. same thing i communicate with Dass manager (ms. supriya), she told us that now it`s companies reponsibility to replace it and it will take time and whirlpool will only decide on the same.since i bought the machine from Dass, you have to replace the same and take responsibility of product because i paid you . i already lost the charm of new microwave and now your shop sales team is not bothered about it. i want the replacement of oven today itself.
your sales team of wanworie shop needs to be teach some manners of talking to customers they never say Thanks or sorry never pickup the phone on time its reducules, there is no customer care at all.
I purcahased Whirlpool double door refrigertor Model number4311. dated 23/03/05 along withe home care plan valid till 6 yrs after one year of purchases. referigerator developed complaint of no cooling, acrodingly complain was launched with whirpool service centre on 26 th June vide complain number HR[protected]. again complain was launched on 11/07/09 complain number HR [protected] and subsequently 3 more complains were launched . whirpool service visited and said gasket of door is defective and need to replace the dooer, and door is not available, need to change the equipment, however 3 months have passed ther is no responce . on calling every time they say we will revert. i have record of each call, in last 3 months I had lot of visitors and friend, however we lost food every time due to no preservation .
i want to take legal action against whirlpool . pl advice steps.
