This is some good suggestion for the company I believe. Aircel is a growing company and thus it setting up towers where ever it is required, depending on the consumer base I think it will definitely fix the network problem in your area too. It is just a matter of time

7th december onwards my internet connection stopped working(Server stopped responding).lodged an official complaint with aircel on 9th december .the official confirmed that the problem would be resolved within 72 hours but its 5 days since then and no action has been taken yet.eventhe customer care has stopped responding for the last 2 days.

This is Siddharth Mohan Srivastava and my number is [protected] which I purchased around 3 months back. Around 15-20 days back I recharged with the 98 pack for unlimited Internet. But since then I am unable to connect to the internet and even open a site. It connects sometimes but the site never opens. Please tell me what to do as your customer care is pathetic, whenever I make a call to customer care the call goes smooth till the time of IVR and button pressing but as soon as the call starts its disconnects. Is this some kind of a joke, if it is please do tell me so that I can do something from my side as I am very good at that. If you all are giving such a service when you are at the starting phase then what are you going to do say after 1 year or so. I you guys could come to my place and open up a single page I am going to give you all a party.

Have you checked you handset setting my friend – you just need to reset these to enjoy the internet all the time or else just visit the nearest Aircel store and speak to the tech guys there. I am sure you will get a solution immediately
i use motorola z3... I activated JLT 6 hrs internet plan.. and i tried for automatic recieving the pocket internet settings from aircel... i waited a lot but it didnt come... then i called the customer care they directed me in the same way and i did it again... no use... i lost 3 rs... i need settings for my mobile... its okay even it should be manually configured... help me...
i'm s.sorna raj, ([protected]) using Aircel pocket internet service inmy nokia N72 mobile for pasttwo weeks. two days before, they barred my number.after submitting documents, it was released. for the past two days mypocket internet service is not functioning.when i connect, msg comes "packet data not available, check network service. when i contacted customer care, from my number, it gets disconnected.but if i try from other numbers they respond, saying call from your own number. so the story goes round and round for the past two days. its highly irritating and insulting consumer rights. pls intervene and do needful to avoid futher inconveniences.

I have used aircel for the past 10 years, recently in our area the network was not functiong. Within the house it is not functioning, but I came out the house it was working.
Well this must be a temporary low network Phase and soon you will get good coverage both in and out of your house, after all 10 years is a long time, you must be knowing more than me.you could also call in the customer care and let them know of the problem….

What Happened to Aircel: Recharges are not working [Top Up Available]
Nowadays Aircel is not like before. At the starting of this month (November 2012), Aircel stopped their all Internet (2G/3G) recharges like at 7,14,48,97 through easy recharge. But coupons are working even now… After 2 week, all easy Top Ups are also closed. But online recharges are available except internet offer on their site: https://epayment.aircel.com/online-recharge/ or www.aircel.com .
In this link, if you try to recharge for pocket internet, then you will get a message like this: ‘The recharge denominations are currently not available for the selected category. Please select another category to recharge’.
Availability of Top Up (Only for RS 50, 100 and 500) :
In India many states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Rajastan, Kerala, Karnataka, etc are suffering this problem.
Many people called to customer care to know the reasons of this problem.
They said many reason in different calls like these:
Ø This is a temporary issue, this will solve soon.
Ø We are finding the reason of this issue.
Ø Aircel is maintaining existing offers and preparing new offers.
Ø When someone said about PORT to another network (Lean more here), then they replied: Aircel will come back with better offers than now, and then you will suffer if you change to another network now, take care.
But common people and mobile shop owners are saying like these:
Ø One Aircel postpaid customer told: Aircel customer care called him and said "Tamil Nadu will take the control over Kerala circle, and all will okay within some days".
Ø Aircel will close or stop their service soon due to their loss.
Ø We don’t know / we have no idea about this issue.
Ø Network problems and will fix soon.
Ø Another network will buy the Aircel.
Ø Another circle will take control over on these issued circles.
Ø Aircel is discussing with other company for selling Aircel.
Ø Please PORT (change to another network) as fast before closing Aircel completely.
Ø In next month (December 2012), a final decision will come by Aircel.
and therefore due to various problem of aircel was ignore before. Now onward i wont cause this has crossed its limits. past 5 no network coverage at all. I am sick of you aircel. this is been very disappointing
Am Aircel Customer in last 10 year but last one year onwards This Network VEry very bad. the customer care excutives not give proper response so one month before i give portal request to change my network into Airtel but the stupit aircel company not accept my request so pls pls don"t choose the aircel network it"s totally waste...
I applied for the new micro simcard instead of the old simcard.After getting the new microsim and install my mobile.But network coverage didn't get my number.My number is [protected].last three days i was trying to the aircel customer care officers through my realtive number regarding this issue but they did not respond properly.If not get a proper solution i am going to surrender my number.
Sience 2009 year there are very low coverage of aircel network, many time i complained against it but no result, althougt the network is away only 2 km from our locality, i want to inform higher authority about it, pls contact my number [protected] (airtel) .
My no is [protected], there is absolutely no network or network on roaming for places well within city, 99% of the time the phone is on roaming for no reason, pathetic network coverage for city like Mumbai. Very rarely i get proper 3G network (i.e 10 min out of 24hrs).

I, Kumar Muthukrishnan writing this complaint regarding the terrible service from aircel network in my location. My number is [protected] and I have been facing network issue in my area Manjakkara street, Kumbakonam 612001. In the last one decade as an aircel customer I never faced this kind of an network issue in the recent past. When I complained several times at aircel authority in Kumbakonam, I understand that the network issue is not only in my area but also in entire Kumbakonam region. I urge you to look in to this matter at the earliest.
my mobile number is +[protected]. as per the scheme i am in, i have to entitled to 5000 SMS free and 500 minutes of local call free on payment of fixed charges. though i have paid the amount, i have been charged for the sms and local calls.
my complaints to the customer call centre and emails sent to the NODAL officer and to talk2aircel.co.in and to corpate.[protected]@aircel.co.in have not even evoked any response.
i am harassed everyday as the line is disconnected and have to spend about 20 minutes with the customer care executive to restore the line. this is being done for no fault of mine.
finally after fighting for a week, i decide to surrender the connection and send an email seeking disconnection. Even then there is no response.
I think AIRCEL is just not borthered about its customers. perhaps, it is because they have too many customers to attend to and so if one goes out, it matters not

I ,Jitendra kumar singh s/o Ajay kr singh ,R/o f 2/218 sangamvihar new delhi 110062 , purchased a simcard of AIRCEL from a dealer on 28 october 2009. since then I have been using this number [protected] .
on 30th november I recharged my account balance by Rs 50&Rs 98 .on the same night at 12:00:08 night i received the following massege :
Your Request for AIRCEL Dialer Tune will be activated Shortly. A Renewal fee of Rs.30 will be charged after 30 days.Thank you!
next day the above stated amount was done deducted from my account . i phoned to the costumer care no to clear this thing .i told them that i had not requested for this servise. they said ok your matter will be solved in few days.During some days the persons kept on phoning me to ask me that wheather my problem was solved or not.. I tell them the same thing what i had already told them.
Now i want my money back with compensation from the AIRCEL because they have charged me for that service which was neither required by me nor i requested for.

Aircel — activated value added service without permission
Dear sir,
i am user of aircel telecoms, i received a call (on 30/09/2009) from aircel customer care, they asked me to activate a value added service, but i replied them "give me some time, i will activate it if i need", but they activated a value added service on 30/09/2009 without my permission, and deduct Rs.30 from my account, even i never call on any number and not send any sms to subscribe that service.
i lodged a complain (number[protected] on 03/10/2009, and call many times to customer care, now they tell me that they will not return my Rs.30 and not deactivate that service.
my problem is that i was recharged my A/C to make an important call and they deduct my balance suddenly, thats why i was unable to make call on that time when i was on road (out side from city) and there was no shop to recharge so i could not make a call, which make adverse effect on my image.
And now i am feeling insecure to recharge my A/C with good amount to make a call.
I do understand your situation. I would suggest as an instant solution to this is to visit the nearest store and speak to the nodal officer there. I am sure he would hear you out and give you a solution for the same.
Its not possible buddy because as far as I know the VAS services are completely automated and cannot be started without prior confirmation from the customer. Hope you did not press any button by mistake?? Why don’t you visit the nearest Aircel store and speak to the nodal officer I am sure your problem will be sorted in no time…
Aircel really sucks... It automatically activates the value added services and reduces the prepaid balance from your account.They deducted a total of Rs 90/- from mine. You know the worst thing is that when I called up customer care they are saying I have activated it on 30th of November 3pm (Please be noted that I was not using the SIM (it was taken from the mobile and kept out) at that time). I talked to a lawyer in this regards and he said it is easy to file a complaint in consumer court. I am proceeding with that. This is too much. I will show them what a consumer can do.

when I call your company call center they told me that activation is free but monthly charges is applicable but when i got an call from your company they told me there is no monthly charges.
I really want my money back otherwise I surrender my no.. Because I don't to be part of a cheated company.where customers are cheated.

I'm Hilton from Kerala. I purchased the Aircel sim on 7/12/2009 and recharged it with 14 Rs. to take net connection in my laptop through mobile. When I tried to download, its speed is only 2 kbps. Browsing also is very slow and poor. They claimed a speed of 115.2 kbps when I called to customer care. It is really cheating internet service and I never used this type of net connection before.

My no is [protected] recently Aircel has taken a charge for caller tune.But I was not aware that there was caller tune in my mobile.Their customer care is saying that they have given it free of cost.But they have deducted the charge.How they can start a service in my mobile without any permission.They are not refunding the charge.
It’s weird because as far as I know the VAS related services are completely automated and cannot be activated without prior permission hope while filling the form you asked for it. If not I think you should visit the nearest Aircel store and get this sorted out with the nodal officer there….
I purchased New Aircel Sim card bearing Mobile No.[protected] for RS.100 and Got a recharge Done Of Rs.14 for Internet surfing with validity for 3 days.Unfortunately i didnt receive the internet settings till date.i.e. after 3 days. I Treid up calling customer care on 121 but no one picked up the call till date.and to my surprise the call used to get disconnected after 1.25 secs saying that all the executives are currently busy.i have called them up for more the 30 times till date but there is no response.
I also have sent SMS's "WAP" and "PI" on 121. but all i received is an Auto reply mentioning Service Unavailable.
Ity seems Aircel is So Busy with Sales dat they are not bothered to register and rectify customer complaints.

To come out from this problem I have registered by self for their DND scheme. But just after registering their DND scheme they charged me 30 rs fo any friend zone scheme beyond my attention ..
So i called customer care and they told me that you have subscribed for that and given me complaint no -
So they are just cheating with consumer.. Kindly never purchase reliance if you want your private life as private and you don't want to disturbed by frequent calls and their schemes which automatically activates in account without doing anything..
DND is the effective solution to stop promotional sms on your number. However I must also tell you that the VAS related activations are all automated and cannot be activated without prior confirmation from the customer. I hope you did not press any button by mistake or someone else may have used your phone and may have subscribed to the service.
Receiving promotional massage after 54th day of registration of dnd

I have requested for start do not disturb by send a massage of START DND at number 1909 on date 12 october 2009. And i have received a massage from aircel about the promotion of internet plan of company. It is being done after 54th day of registration. So i want more information about this process.

Yes. They will send SMS Advertisements. They don't have any updated software or infrastructure. I am having same problem with them. Aircel must shutdown their operations or should sell it to some experienced telecom company. They should understand their responsibility that they are into consumer sector.
Sir, I am activate AIRCEL GPRS on 27-11-09 via SMS with the following procedure, sending SMS P98 to 57788.. They Replied me Your Service is Activated for 30 Days Unlimited Browsing... They deduce my balance RS98 on that time..
I start my Browsing on that time they charge me 10p/10kb.. This is happen Because my internet facility is not activated for my Mobile they tell like this, when i am calling first time on 27-11-09 12.30pm.. They apology's for that Problem and they tell me they are taking a Complaint and they Solved with in 72 hours...
But i didn't recieve any reply and i am again call to them on 30-11-09.. At that time they tell the privious complaint is not register here, So i asked them for take new Complaint and Send me the Complaint Number..
The new person tell me please give me another 48 hours, and also again i not recieve any further reply's.. So i am again Call on 2-11-09.. again they ask me another 24hours... they again not responded for that only sending one message like this your problem about the VAS related Complaint is Resolved..
But my no not credited with balance also not working free GPRS.. So I record my Calls after that 4-11-09 onwards.. on that Day I called 5times and noted all Details with my Problem and I record all my Calls with the Customer Care... On that day they cut my calls 2 times so i am tensed so finally i know they are Cheating they are finally tell me they not take my Balance RS98 on 27-11-09...
They are a fraud Network Please Solve my problem with in short time as soon..
I have a proofs with recorded conversation with customer care... I want to attach here.. It's More clear detail with my problem.. so please tell me if any option for adding the audio files.. for including that...

I am using aircel. My number is [protected]. Yesterday I got one message from a eight digit number.When I gave miss call, computer said something in some other language.I didn't get that. After that I loss 42.20 Rs. Today also there is one message from a number, and when I gave miss call same thing happened. But this time I loss 1.50Rs. Why this is happening. Please correct it.
Yes, Shrivatsa don't trust the aircel Network.. They are fully cheating thier true customers by thier fraud Network.. Reducing our Balance via many techniques.. they call that are thier plans but they taking fees or charge for that but they didn't active the Service..
Today also I call the Customer Care tolled me to wait for one more 24hours... I can Realised from this problem they are (AIRCEL 24HOURS FRAUD NETWORK).
Its strange my friend as generally the response time with Aircel is great – that’s my clear experience. However I do see that you have a genuine problem I think you should visit the nearest Aircel store and speak to the nodal officer and discuss your complaint in detail. I am sure he will give you a quick and effective solution immediately. Do carry your complaint details ..

But your representative has informed that he has given one form and requested ID proof, photo and her presence is necessary. He has asked so many questions behaving like a police officer as is I am a thief in his openion. I am not able to understand I have not asked for any ration card from you. I have asked only post paid to prepaid. He said that mondatory is like that. It is very difficult to the customer such a person is replying in your office.

i'm porting my no vodofone to aircel.easily changad but aircel side did not activate so i'm very disappointed after made call to customer care they not responding well.finaly some one saya to me go to aircel office.after that it will be activateded.But now my traiff plan is very difficult.it will charged 1.2p/s.I loss my porting benefit(aicel to aircel 20p/m, others 40p/m, std 60p/m).i was already contact to customer care but they with not getting any action.they simply says we will encounter your problem in 24 hours .Still now 8 days gone but problem will be not cured. I had made two recharges for Pocket internet on the online recharge link for Aircel for the number [protected]. The details are given below:
19/06/2012 AIRCEL CELLULAR LTD-CHENN 98.00
28/06/2012 AIRCEL CELLULAR LTD-CHENN 14.00
Both were not reflected and after repeasted mails to the appelate committee and aircel, no progress is seen. This is highly disappointing for a customer to perform online transactions.
The transactions were approved from the credit card side and so I am not able to get the same reversed too. It is as good as cheating a customer. This is highly unexpected from Aircel.
This has been repeated on my number [protected]. I did a topup on 17th July 2012 and the same happened. The amount got deducted from my credit card account, while the recharge never happened. This is the third issue, however the aircel customer care says the benefits are provided. How can they blatantly lie when as a customer I am lamenting that it is not done.
I have been looted and there is no justice for the past one month. This is disgusting and I'd recommend against aircel any given day. Details provided below.

Bill plan is something which cannot be activated without prior approval from the customer – I am sure there is a technical glitch somewhere. My suggestion to you is to visit the nearest Aircel store and speak to the customer care personnel there and sort this out immediately….
pocket internet is very boring and time consuming network,mostly it dose not work properly.It requires progress and change in sceame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! otherwise it is not sufficient to customer?????????

Well buddy I guess you haven’t tried this tip, just refresh the settings on your handset and see the difference, your will definitely get an improved and faster speed.

i am very sorry to say that your internet perfomance is very poor...

Something weird happened today when I called a friend from my aircel number. It was picked by a different person. My friend wasn't playing any trick, in fact the call didn't go to his phone at all. Is anyone aware of such happenings. I think it's some kind of network error.
I have been receiving vulgar messages from this unknown number +91-[protected] i have faith and request the board to take some serious action and teach them a lesson so that they should not repeat it with any other girl. thanks
I puchased a SIM Card No.[protected] with mobile phone no.[protected] on 14th October 2009. I put a complaint for wrong deduction of Rs. 30 from account at their customer care on October 17. The amount has been creditted back to my account by SIM card is being rejected right from October 19, 2009. I complained for SIM rejection by AIRCEL Network to Customer care, Nodal Office and Apellate Authority. Nothing has been done so far. I have lost my Rs. 100. It seems company is collecting money like this from different customer by selling bogus SIM cards.
