I have taken a prepaid connection - ( No. [protected]) from Kerala circle of Aircel.
The documents provided to obtain the connection along with the application were a self attested copy of my PAN card and the latest BSNL Land phone bill in original.
My connection was terminated after a week saying that the address proof is not sufficient.
The application form says that as ID proof PAN card and as address proof Telephone Bill can be submitted.
However, even after providing the documents as mentioned in their application document, my connection was terminated. When the customer care of the provider was contacted, they say that the address proof is invalid.
You are requested that the case may be taken up with the concerned and restore my connection.

As understood by me the verification process is something driven based on government and telecom regulatory norms. These are extremely stringent and the operators have to follow them strictly to avoid any kind of consequences. My suggestion to you in this particular case is to visit the nearest store and speak to the nodal officer – I am sure you would get a valid solution to your problem and your connection will be restored in no time…

    last day i got a sms from aircel . the message was about an option to change the network logo... to change the logo type : mylogo<space>font size<space>new logo and send to specified service number.. sms cost 3 rs and service is free .. lot of my friends send message as they want to change logo in to their lovers name , in my friends circle the number is more than 20 . but later nothing happened other than we lost 3 rs each .. and when we inquired customer care they told what they meant by font size is the number of alphabets in new logo not the font size what we all know ( the size of font used.. as commonly used term in microsoft office and all other softwares ) its really same as cheating customer .. what we have to do ..?? can we register complaint in consumer court ..?? i am sure that thousand of people may have lost their money .. instead of " font size " it should be written " no of albhabets " .. i thinku got what is meant my network logo .. its same as displaying aritel or idea on ur mobile corresponding to ur network connection .

    My stand on this is that since these processes are automated there is not much the operator can do. However I do suggest you to either speak to the customer care again or visit the nearest store and discuss your problem. I am sure you would get some kind of redressal.

    I am Mr. Manickam Kannan a bonafied customer of Aircel having mobile set with no.[protected]. I love the offers and the way you treat your customers which made me to stay with Aircel for past 3 yrs. But now am disappointed because of the service provided by your agent on 13/04/2010 at 05.30pm. I received a call from your agent from[protected] this num on the above stated date regarding some offer... Like that our conversation started. Then he asked about my personal details like my name, residential address. When I replied that you may have my details as your calling from Aircel. Then he started to answer rudely. He replied that if we have your details why we are going to ask you. When I questioned for what you need these details he replied just for the offer. I asked him about the offer he in turn said about some postpaid offer. As I was in my work place I told him am sorry am not interested as of now and please call me later, but before I complete my speech. He just banged the call saying " nee vechi tholainga phone ah" in a rudely manner. As if I disturbed him.

    I wanted to bring in notice of the company that the kind of service provided by the Aircel employee was really pathetic. These cc executive should learn atleast how to behave with customers...Otherwise the word customer care executive lies fake.

    Even I handle a team in customer support and I know the in and out’s and quality parameters of a call center. And I personally dint expect this from a very good organization in which I have experienced pleasing service so far. And as a customer I like to point out this for the betterment and to maintain the standard of the company. Hope this will be sorted out and awaiting for your reply.

    I am residing in Coimbatore, TamilNadu
    I have submitted my ID proof to get my post-paid bill to my Coimbatore address.
    But, still there is no proper reply from my dealer(Place:Sundarapuram, Coimbatore)
    Daily, i am roaming from my office to that dealer shop regarding my address change and call history print-out. Is there any possibility to change again from post-paid to pre-paid connection? If so could some1 tel
    me the steps. Shame on aircel customer service ..

        i am not able to use opera mini for surfing internet in aircel. i had many times complained to the customer care but all in vain. please help.
        I think you should just try to reach to the technical guys at the nearest Aircel store – I think they hare wizards when it comes to downloads and stuff
        I am not being able to use opera mini or any other internet based applications using aircel internet service. that is really very disappointing.surfing the web using the inbuilt Nokia browser is never that smooth and satisfying.actually pocket internet is the thing that dragged me to Aircel. the guys at customer service says that aircel don't support ant third party application. that's really disgusting.

          I am Manorath Singh . My mobile no is [protected].I purchased Aircel sim and activated pocket internet on the same day.But from the 2nd day of purchasing, the internet not worked properly till today at my laptop .No good and +ve responce is obtained by me from the aircel customer care center.On 04/10/09 or 05/10/09 I talk to Gurmeet singh who is the member of technical team in customer care,he registered the complaint with complaint no. [protected], and told to me that someone will meet with you at your residence , analyse and solve the problem. But no one came till today.
          It is therefore requested you that kindly 1) solve this problem and manage the Rs.98(internet coupon cost)in any way,otherwise I will change my company from AIRCEL to AIRTEL Comm, who is also provide the same or much better facilities.
          2)Please take necessary action against the customer care officer who not solved the problems and getting salary without work. Kindly inform about this on my e-mail, thank's
          its strange coz generally the service time of Aircel has been great with me. Why don’t you get to the nearest Aircel store and put in a complaint there and I am sure your solution will be with you in no time. Do carry your complaint number for reference.

            dear sir, my no. is [protected] , i m residing at lucknow c-89, ekta vihar sector e aliganj, Lucknow.

            i have taken my new no. and 98 pack from lucknow. but i am not getting proper service . as there is no network coverage at my house. i have given complaint many time to aircel customer care but they are not responding me properly.
            The GPRS speed is directly proportional to the network coverage I believe. Have you tried resetting your GPRS setting son your handset? If not I think it should work or else just get to the nearest Aircel store and speak to the tech guys there…
            I had a number [protected] which I was purchased 5th June 2009, it was postpaid, and the reason behind it was to suffering internet (GPRS). There was a plan of reducing the call rate in it. Internet never connects more than 5 minutes because of service message. Whenever we make the request to the customer care but they didn't received the call at least for 1hour .They make the call on hold and after some time they cut the call in between. Whenever we connected to customer care they couldn't satisfied to me.
            After getting in trouble I cut my connection in 19-8-09 from the branch of Cannought Place 28 We make the Payment of Bill and Sim card. They had broken the Sim and paste to the form in my supervision. They provide me a Account ID No.[protected]. They make call me after 24 hour and give me a Reference No.[protected] at 3:00 pm that your connection has been canceled and told me that you will get refundable payment within 45 days. Whenever I make call on this No. it being Switched Off. They make a call to me and said your bill has been reached here please pay it. I told him that we have canceled this No. and in October they call makes again around 13-10-09 they said again that your bill has been reached here please pay it and I said again I have canceled this No. They reply that after reaching office of Aircel you will get solution, I reached Dwarka sec-5 at 10:10, they keep my details, after 30 minutes they said that our server is down now and we will make you call on alternate no. after one hour they provide us a Name and Number (No.) i.e., Vishal Chopra, [protected]. I call on this No. after 6 hours he didn't received the call.

            Aircel service is very rough. In my mobile, all the time advertizement messages and calls comes . I have registered in the DO NOT DISTURB LIST. but advertizement messages and calls still coming. Aircel network coverage is very limited . All the time, disturbance is feel. Signal quality is very poor. sometime signal is good and some time signal is very weak. Due to this voice quality is vey poor and not clear. I have decide if aircel network coverage is not improved then i will cut the connection of aircel.

            Try and refresh your GPRS settings, I am sure you will get a better signal which you are looking for. Good luck.
            Aircel is the worst service provider.They have not built their network properly and offer lots of vas products which don't work either.Airtel and other service providers offer 15000 sms at rs 60, while these aircel guys offer only 450 sms at 34 rs.They are sore losers and are fit for nothing.They are not liable to be in the telecom business.If any aurcel guy is reading this then just listen you are the most idiotic dumb service providers in the whole world.

              When I call to a number or recieve a call first time it always becomes a single side speech and I will be billed for this. Then if I try to call the number or recieve from that number the next time the call gets connected. This is not from one place. I roam around Bangalore and I have faced this in all areas. What I suspect is that the company is cheating the customers to increase the bill.

                Aircel / tower installation

                We had received information from one of my friend for company looking out property for tower installations for aircel company. we contacted the outsourcing company on how to move forward, where we were informed that as a process we need to deposit rs.5, 000/- as an advance in icici bank post which call them back and create a file. on creation of file they would initiate survey in next 2-3 days post which they would refund the money if not...

                My name is Dhanesh....I'm from kerala...I had purchased a new aricel prepaid sim..the plan and all is gud but the network coverage is very poor.Some times when there is 1 bar of signal on phone the network says that i'm out of coverage area..The main problem is that it does not contian good coverage....
                Have you tried using your sim in any other handset, just to figure out where the problem lies, if the network is better than there is a problem in the set or else you can call up the Aircel Customer care to figure out whether your area falls under low network zone, in such a case they will suggest you the best possible solution to your problem. Good luck
                My name is shine. i am one of the first customers of aircel which was launched in cochin. i am going to change number to other operator because of fraud cheating and unfriendly mentality of operator aircel.

                i activated missed call alert because of low coverage
                and network issues. monthly for 15rupees.....but no use i am not getting any messages regarding missed calls when in out of coverage....
                even in full coverage i am not getting incoming calls while i am in full coverage area during congestion time that is 6pm to 11 pm. and not getting any messages regarding calls dropped in to server my handset is nokia e71 and latest software upgraded from nokia care.... aircel is a fake operator........idea is behind aircel
                those who go idea and aircel will suffer ...... when i will get time i will provide the technical details also........ wait for some days.... i am collecting information regarding vodafone. i have the in formations regarding all other companies i will provide as a public interest

                  my outgoing and sms services has been debarred from last 12 days.they are not giving proper assistance to me.today after 12 days they are telling me that its the sim fault and we will take Rs.50 and the document again then it will take 48 hrs to resume your services.now i dont have trust on them and i faced a lot of problems in last 12 days due to these interruptions.its their fault then why i pay them and what about those 12 days which i have faced.

                  I must say friend, you shouldn’t have waited for that long. Rather you could have visited the nearest store and reported the issue. This is the fastest way to resolve such issues and they are helpful as ever. So get moving, I am sure, very soon you can make calls with your Aircel connection. Good Luck.
                  i have air cell connection last three month i am facing lot of problem always network is disconnecting i change my hand set same problem is now the new problem is once i am trying to international call there is no ring and balance is dedecting. not particular one number five diffrent number i try the same problem is i lost near aboy 150 rupees already i try twenty time the same problem i lodge complain alredy but thre is no responce is. i think problem is hand set

I have bought 2 sim dt. 08/09/2008 which no. is [protected] & [protected] and i used since june 2009 then after incoming & outgoing facilities closed. I asked the aircel customer care services, Bhadani agency, Aircel Services, Tekari Road, Gaya why closed the facilities. that person said your documentary proof not satisfactory so resubmit the documents. So, I again submit the document dt. 23/09/2009 and recharge with Rs. 36/- and getting life time validity but unfortunately I am not getting incoming & outgoing facilities. I again asked Bhadani Distributer, Tekari, that staff saying your sim reject since 01/03/2009 and documents recieved as per your dt. 23.09.2009 One sim working [protected] in only incoming facilities and other sim not incoming & outgoing facilities available. I again complain aircel office, Tekari Road, Gaya. staff saying I can not help anything. I want to know that if sim is rejected, how can recharge life time validity, and one sim working incoming facilites and main balance show about Rs. 18/- So please say what can I do. Who responsible for Rs. 36/-*2=Rs. 72/- solve the problem if sim is reject then why recharge accept with Rs. 36/- because number not available. If any other authority solve the problem, please informed to me.

                      i have bought a sim card of aircel 4 days ago. nd from that day i tried for wap setting but i didn't get it. i had tried to send sms (PI to 121) to get wap setting but every time sending failed.

                        Aircel Prepaid service — wrong deduction

                        Wrongly deducted Rs 14 altogh I did not use caller tune service. Complaints to customer care met only stony silence.Moreover aircell is disturbing customer by sending SMS & prerecorded marketting call. Do not disturb registration does not help. Nobody shoul take Aircell connection.

                        Then inform to the customer care officer..
                        He or she will ask the some questions like
                        1. Last Recharge amount or date
                        2. Address verification
                        3. Balance & Valadity of the number

                        If you gave the correct information they will give six digit puk code number..
                        After entering the puk code number, it ask new pin code.
                        So ask the customer care officer clear about this...

                        Aircel Mobile — Wrong,Unusual continuous deduction of prepaid account balance

                        Dear Sir/Madam
                        I am using Aircel prepaid mobile no.[protected] from January 2010.
                        Since 13 november 2010,aircel is continuously deducting my account balance inspite of the fact that i am not using any extra service/facility which is chargable neither i am making any chargable call or sms.
                        Each time continuously from 13 november morning ,i get a sms from aircel in which the content is '"thanks for using aircel services" .
                        On each sms one rupee is being deducted from my main balance and uptill 14 november 2010 10:30PM...almost 55 rupees are being deducted from my main balance.
                        Customer care executives of aircel are not taking my complaint seriously.....
                        they are not providing me any satisfactory information & solution of my problem.
                        They are not transferring my call to their senior executives......
                        I am very much dissappointed from aircel at this point of time.

                        So,i am requesting you to help me out in this matter.

                            I am Aircel customer.My aircel no. is [protected].i have send a message to activate Do not disturb(DND) service on 10th aug.i have got a conformation message regarding my msg nd it inform me that my DND sevice will be activated from 24th sept.My reference no. for DND registration is S[protected].But after 24th sept i continously recieve calls nd SMS from Aircel.So i have again filed a complain against it.My complain no. is[protected].But still up to today also i m recieving calls and sms from aircel

                            This is quite weird, if the DND service has been activated it is not possible that you still receive calls. It is a government regulated norm which all telecom players have to follow. I would suggest you to get in touch with the concerned officer and refer to the registration number. I am sure the problem will be solved

                            I got Aircel Connection 2 months back. I activated Do Not Disturb Service (for stopping promotional calls). They said it would take 45 days to process. I waited patiently for 45 days. Still calls kept coming in. Then I call their customer care. They give me a complaint number. I received sms saying complaint taking into account. Yet I recieve calls from Aircel at odd time (while sleeping, office, early morning). I am fed up of it. Is there some way that i can sue them or something?

                                i am a new aircel prepaid customer.I recharge 98 pocket internet pack.The service was activated.But i have the problem of very low speed gprs.I am staying asok nagar(LM:BACK SIDE OF GARUDA MALL) bangalore.The speed is below 1 kb,so loading a page need more than 5 minutes.I browse via mobile only.
                                I call customer care executive more than 3 times.Their reply was not satisfying.I tried gprs in brigade road and m g road.But same thing happen.I am using nokia n70.The phone working fine.I think that tower or ur server problem.So pls correct the problem suddenly. give me the reply of actual problem

                                "Well I understand your cause of worry, but the speed I enjoy is pretty good so I would suggest you to try and reset the GPRS settings and hopefully your will get a far better speed which you are getting now or else you could visit the nearest company store and meet the technical guy there, he will surely solve your problem.                                   Aircel Has charges me rupees 5 for voice mail activation and then they sms saying this series is not supported for voice mail service when I emailed aircel for refund they are yet to respond in these days of 3G aircel does not have voice mail for a circle as huge as mumbai what do you expect from them.
