Dear Sir/Madam:

My name is Kunal Verma from Delhi and I got trapped in the Aircel lucrative offers and purchased a postpaid connection. Due to very bad services, I disconnected the no. within 3 months clearing all my dues. I am still waiting for the past three months for my security amount of Rs. 1500/- and on calling to them they have the same answer that you will get your refund by this month and till then three months had passed with no result. Please HELP.

I doubt if discontinuing with the connection was the best of decisions for you, believe me I found Aircel to be very convenient. Whereas your refund is concerned please visit the nearest Aircel store. There are a number of stores in Delhi, there will solve this matter as soon as possible. Good Luck

    i was using teen talk and tat was helpful for messagin at 5paise and the call costs were affordable and i used to recharge for 400 every 6 month but suddenly they changed my plan to life time with message and call cost at 1 rupee.i called the customer care many times and didnt got reponse.... cheating fellows

    Weird as without your approval no one can change your billing plan. I must suggest my friend that you should visit the nearest store and get this problem sorted out at the earliest…
    Dear sir, upto 25 th of this month i had rs. 130. Today it suddenly hike into rs.290. Can you check this? Kindly check whether my pocket internet usage is the reason for this hike. Thank you.

      My name is vijay singh & I bought an aircel sim card for surfing internet as they promised unlimited browsing and downloading but neither of the services worked as it has very poor network coverage and a very slow speed which irritates me and the others too i hope so. It is totally cheating.
      "I don’t agree with you totally my friend. I get some good speed on my Aircel connection which lets me enjoy unlimited surfing at all times. Why don’t you revisit your gprs settings once or speak to the customer service for a solution..

      @Vijay Singh I totally disagree. Though you should not expect the Broadband speed but it is giving fair speed for the amount tht is paid. May be you have to be in a location where Signal strength will be Good.

        i was facing network problem in indoors since the company launched there service in mumbai .According to me the company was launched on 10th of april 2009. So i have started raising complaints at there customer care no. ie 121. from 1st week of june. But the problem was not resolved. Then i myself approach to there customer care center and they lodged my complaint and asked me to contact with nodal officer through mail. So i have marked many mails at there site nodalofficer.[protected]@aircel.co.in.Still i din't get it solved. Then i approached to appellate authority Mr.MADAN BAJPAI through mail. so in short i am fed up marking mails and contacting at there care center because still my problem has been not resolved .So i want compensation for wasting my precious time and money in contacting nodel officer and appellate.I want either indoor boosters being installed for temperory basis or i want compensation.         AIRCEL LTD — BILL SENT WITHOUT ACTIVATION NUMBER

        Respected Sir, I taken a new aircel post paid connection. i paid Rs 250/- as security deposit. But number is still nonactive and i received a bill against this number. I complain many time in aircel but no one giving any response. Plz help me. My number is [protected]

            I have a mobile connection of Aircel from Durgapur,WB, which is my residential address and am presently stationed in Kolkata, Kasba due to my official engagements. Unfortunately, the mobile is not showing any connectivity since 12th November 2009. Please get it fixed urgently.
            It’s a growing company and still setting up network towers in various areas. It is quite possible that your place Durgapur is under low network frequency for a while, but I am sure you will have full signal very soon and the technical department is quite efficient at their task they are definitely looking to solve your problem. Good luck.

              I asked for internet/gprs setting from customer care for my chinese phone, i could not get the same and it is told to me that my phone is not supported, then I purchased new NOKIA5130 and again contact to customer service, but I m sorry to say that this time again reply that my phone is not supported, now i have change my card from aircell No:[protected] to MTNL [protected] and surprise that my both phone(chines and nokia5130) is working on gprs. plz advise where i can surrender my card and get return not used talk time.

              You have a genuine reason brother, but quite possibly there can be a miscommunication too. I would suggest you to visit the nearest Aircel store and speak to the technical guys who are always at the desk to help such queries and I am sure they would help you with the sim card request also.
              hi krishna . i have also brought apple iphone and chinese n95. i called aircel cust service asked for gprs setting in my mobile. they sid we dont support. again i dailed spoke with techincal they provided me the manual details.. so can u telling if i use MTNL that should work or not.

                I have received a message from Aircel saying my Last call cost : 10,000.00 and my avaialble balace is 0.00. Before that i had a balance of more than 100Rs. After that message i lost all my balance. Next day i top up my mobile for 100Rs.I logged a complaint with Aircel but their incappable customer care trying to cheat me that they cant refund any amount back. Not only this problem i am facing with Aircel. They themself activated my Dialer tunes and now they are asking to renew it. I sent message to Toll free no to unsubscribe it. But i lost 3 rupees :-))))))). Everyday i get more than 15 junk dialer tune calls. I am afraid to send mesage to unsubscribe this.

                I request all of the readers dont take Aircel connection. Dont get pain later.

                      ur customer care people are so unbehaved and rude.plz teach them hw to talk to customers.u hav charged Rs15 for orissa news which i have not activated.wat the hell is this.plz deactivate and refund the amount at the earliest.or else i hav to throw the sim if such nuisense continues....

                      These processes are automated so unless there is a consent from your side no extra service is activated. My experience with the customer care has been pretty satisfactory. They are friendly and prompt. I think you just need to either speak to the CC again or get to the nearest Aircel store and sort this out…

                        I don’t think any operator can activate value added services without prior consent from the consumer. It might be the case that you may have accidently sent a message or replied which activated the service on your sim. Why don’t you get to the nearest Aircel store and sort this out…..

                          We have taken the"Unlimited Free SMS Plan" for RS 300 .but some how we got a letter from you, that we going to stop the "Unlimited Free SMS Plan" from 25/10/09 effectively.then on 3/11/09 one of them from AIRCEL office called& told me that you billed an amount of RS 16000.we are not able know how this much amount is billed to my account,even though we have credit limit up to RS 500.we didnt even send single sms after 25/10/09, we have asked sms sending details for our number but they are not giving us, this is fraud type of doing , pls take immediate action
                          I understand your position my friend. I think it’s just a mistake which will be clarified as soon as you speak to the customer care – they are a helpful bunch. Hope no one has played a prank on you????

                            Dear Sir I have switched over from my Airtel Mobile Connection to AIRCEL due to its new insertion in Delhi recently But I found the AIRCEL network is very very very poor in Delhi and I felt I made a blunder mistake by changing my number from Airtel to AIRCEL Since I am residing at Pocket A 3 Mayur Vihar Phase 3 in Delhi neither Aircel network available inside at my home nor outside Moreover if you move to inside of any building in most part of Delhi you will not get the Aircel network now the situation is really embarassing Even though I have made complaint against which I am facing there was no any constructive remedial action from the Service provider So it is really pathetic whereas I have been enjoing seamless Network connectivity from our Service providers viz Airtel Idea Reliance TATA Indcom etc etc across the country

                            Well friend I don’t think you have made a mistake it is a great company with good coverage. It may be by a matter of chance that you are facing this problem. It’s a growing company and still setting up network towers in various areas. It is quite possible that your zone is under low network frequency for a while, but don’t worry that would be fixed very soon, you should try visiting the nearest Aircel store for immediate resolution to your problem.

                              Sir,
                              I purchase prepaid card on 21 november 2009 with recharge of 50 rupee and 98 rupee unlimited voucher after providing valid id proof and this work for some time then next morning it stop working and i got information that my id is not recieved.
                              Kindly explain me why you start my phone and even when you have my valid, you barred my phone.
                              Please explain me on which level of you have this problem.
                              And if this problem still there so why should i purchase aircell ?

                              My dear friend I must tell you that asking for a valid ID proof is a statutory regulation which all telecom companies have to follow. Infact as a good citizen of the country this act of yours will help to keep unscrupulous people at bay. My suggestion to you here is to just get to the nearest Aircel store and provide them with all necessary documentation and I am sure your connction will be resumed in no time….

                                  I am customer of aircel i use prepaid connection of aircel.one i bring a recharge coupon of 25 rupees on 1-11-09.when i tried to rechar then i was told that it has already been recharged and contact our customer care exicutive. Then i called customer care exicutive he told that this is already recharged and asked me to go to retaile and said that he will do something. I went to retailer who is in tuglakabad ext. Gali no28 n.delhi. He talked me in such a way that he dont know to whom i have given this coupon to recharge and nothing will happen in this case. I told him that i am ur regular customer i will not do anything wrong for only 25 rupees but he did nothing for my problem.
                                  Well I believe that the recharge voucher has a sealed recharge number which has to be scratched to entered. Do you remember was the voucher already torn or open. If it was intact I think you should go to the nearest Aircel store and complaint about the retailer and his activities. I am sure they would offer you a reasonable solution for the same.

                                    DEAR AUTHORITIES,

                                    MYSELF IS FOUZAN SHAHID FROM MORADABAD (U.P.).

                                    I HAD PURCHASED ONE AIRCEL PREPAID SIMCARD ON 25/09/09 (NO.[protected]). THE VALID ID WITH A PHOTO WAS SUBMITTED WELL BEFORE I GOT THE SIM IN MY HAND. THE NUMBER WAS ACTIVATED IN THE NEXT 1-2 DAYS. I WAS USING IT VERY WELL & WAS SATISFIED WITH THE NETWORK & POCKET INTERNET.

                                    AFTER ABOUT 15 DAYS, MY NUMBER STOPPED WORKING WITH ITS OUTGOING & INCOMING SERVICE AS BARRED. I SPOKE TO THE DEALER TO TELL ME THE VALID REASON. THEY HAD NO IDEA ABOUT. SO I CALLED-UP THE CUSTOMER CARE & SPOKE TO THE EXECUTIVES NUMBER OF TIMES. BUT I GOT THE SAME ADVICE TO SPEAK TO THE DEALER. I AGAIN WENT TO THE DEALER TO FIND THE EXACT PROBLEM & FINALLY I GOT TO KNOW THAT THERE WAS SOME MISTAKE IN FILLING THE FORM AT THE TIME OF PURCHASING SIM CARD. THE DEALER ADVISED ME TO SUBMIT THE VALID ID & PHOTO AGAIN TO THE AIRTEL MINI STORE, WHICH I AGAIN DID ON AROUND 15TH OCT. THE MINISTORE EXECUTIVES CONVINCED ME THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE RE-ACTIVATED IN A DAY OR TWO.

                                    I WAITED AGAIN & CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE 3-4 TIMES. BUT I GOT THE REPLY THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ID TILL YET. AFTER FEW DAYS THE MOBILE STARTED SHOWING THE MESSAGE "INVALID SIM".

                                    FINALLY I SPOKE TO THE CUSTOMER CARE AGAIN ON AROUND 30TH OCTOBER & MY COMPLAINT WAS REGISTERED WITH THE NO. 1-[protected] & THE SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSURED ME THE THE SERVICES ON MY SIM WILL BE RE-STARTED BEFORE 5TH NOVEMBER AFTER I WILL RECEIVE A CALL FROM THEIR EXECUTIVES.

                                    TODAY, I GOT A CALL AT MY ALTERNATE NUMBER ([protected]) FROM AIRCEL CUSTOMER CARE MB: [protected] AT 4.57PM & THE EXECUTIVE AGAIN SPOKE TO ME THE SAME THING "PLEASE RE-SUMBIT THE VALID ID TO THE NEAREST MINI STORE". THAT MOMENT WAS SO IRRITATING FOR ME & I TOLD HIM THAT I WILL TAKE THIS MATTER TO THE CONSUMER FORUM.

                                    HE REPLIED ME SO HAPPILY THAT WHEREVER I WANT TO COMPLAIN, I CAN DO SO. AND THEN HE DISCONNECTED THE LINE AFTER SAYING THIS.

                                    CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY WITH THE AIRCEL HIGHER AUTHORITIES TO START MY NUMBER IMMEDIATELY, OTHERWISE I WILL DEMAND THEM FOR A COMPENSATION. THEY HAVE TO SEND THEIR EXECUTIVE TO MY OFFICE/HOME TO SPEAK TO ME IN PERSON & RESOLVE THE MATTER.

                                    A valid id is a government regulation which every telecom operator has to follow to avoid any strict action against their organization. I also feel as a good citizen of our country by giving valid Id one avoids usage of numbers by unscrupulous people. My suggestion to you in this case is to visit the Aircel Store and submit the documentation as required and I am sure your number will be resumed in no time…
                                    I too faced similar problem...Mr. Shahid has already given valid ID two times, what do they do with that, eat the papers or sell them in Kabad.

                                    Aircel's Customer Care...is worth abusing, difficult to control tongue. Shahid you're right...it's irritating, when Customer Care guys says " Go where you want" and hangs the phone. To me also in the middle of grieviance call, line disconnected, THANKS TO AIRCEL [censored]ING Connectivity...and they never even do a Courtesy by calling Back...and next time you call, somebody else picks up...and we've again explain the story from beginning to END>>>> END with this Aircel...It might close due to poor services.
                                    I think this disturbance is due to the retailer's fault.He may not be send our ID at right time.

                                      i had been calling US (ISD) @ 2rs per at that time i ad per second call rates. but this time on29oct aircel has deducted [protected]@6.30 per min . when i had a talk with them they SAID u had opted for lifetime per second call plan . but per second call plan is only 4 local $ std . there is no information about change in ISD rates. my acoount balhas been deducted with 24 rs instead of 8 rs. when i call to customer care they made me hold for 4-5min and subsequently disconect call .

                                      secondly last month they had automatically deducted 30 rs for a service but i had got a refund after talking with them . and i had also call to deactivate the service 4 which i had been charged 4 rs . but again after 1 month they again deduct 30 rs

                                      please hav a look on this matter .

                                      I do agree these unnecessary charges do irritate a customer however I must tell you that since these processes are all automated without your consent nothing can be activated. As far as the ISD rates are applicable I would suggest you to visit the nearest Aircel store and speak to the customer care executives and understand your plan clearly. I am sure this would leave no ambiguities in your mind…

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        Please refer to the mail trail below with Aircel Appellate Officer. To summarize

                                        1. I am a Mumbai consumer of Aitcel had gone to Delhi due to medical emergency of my family. In due course my stay by Aircell number was falling short of balance. I paid Rs 200 to Aircel's dealer in Delhi but received an SMS Transaction number MUR[protected] to recharge 0 INR is successful”. Thereafter I received two SMS from Aircell “There is some problem. Please contact our customer care service”. The dealer requested me get in touch with nearby Aircel showroom located nearby for solving the issue. I went to Aircel's showroom but their personnel at showroom had no clue why Rs 200/- was not recharged. They requested try recharge of small domination Rs 10 from their showroom. It was successfully recharged for Rs 7.07 (Transaction No. MUR[protected].Then I paid them Rs 300 for recharging . However I received SMS “207: Transaction number MUR[protected] to recharge 0 INR is successful”. Thereafter I received three SMS from Aircell, stating that “There is some problem. Please contact our customer care service”.

                                        2. Unable to solve the issue and give any clue on the failure to top up the amount, Aircell showroom employees provided me contact numbers and Email Ids of Nodal Officer Mr. Bhakti Salve [protected] and Appellate officer Mr. Madan Bajpai [protected] and requested me to contact them for solving the issue. I tried to contact both of them several times same day from a landline as my balance was at critically low level. However either they were unreachable or not picking up the phone.

                                        3. I wrote a mail to Nodal officers and Appellate Officer of Aircel in Delhi and Mumbai very next day i.e. on 26th September'09 quoting the reference number and requesting them to sort out the issue and recharge my account for Rs 500/-.

                                        4. I was replied instead of recharging they have loaded some scheme against my account, in which I am entitled to get Local Calling 600 minutes and STD 265 minutes which would expire on 10th October. The Scheme would be applicable only from my home network i.e Mumbai.

                                        5. I informed that I am not interested in the scheme and also I was only available in Mumbai for few days within 10th October in my home network to utilize such scheme. I requested them to reverse the transaction and load the amount against my account.

                                        6. However they have refused to reverse the transaction.Not only I have incurred a loss but wasted my time in explaining the issue in writing repeatedly to Aircel's Appellate Officer repeatedly.

                                        I strongly protest against Aircel's methodology of selling schemes surreptitiously through your uninformed network of dealers and showroom against the customers consent and not reversing the same on pointing out the mistake on account of their faulty system programming. This is violation and contrary to TARAI's Circular 201-19/2006-ECO dated 23rd May'2006 issued by Mr. M Kannan published in the Website. I have all the cash receipts issued by Aircel's dealer and showroom in Delhi, SMSs and all communications, Emails on rectification with Aircel of the anomaly.

                                        I request you take up with Aircel on this issue and direct them to reverse the transactions. Either the amount should be refunded or loaded as normal talk time. This deliberate intention to defend the mistakes committed should be taken seriously and penalties must be levied on Service providers to protect consumer interest

                                        We had discussion but as I was in Delhi, the discussion could not be completed because of network problems. I hope you have gone through my detailed letter sent earlier.

                                        I am back to Mumbai in case you wish to sort the issue you may call me.

                                        I will just give a simple analogy of the episode of the transactions .

                                        1. Aircell has an E shop selling Potatoes Rs 10 per Kg and Onions Rs 15 per Kg.
                                        2. I went to your Dealer/showroom and requested me to supply Rs 15 worth of Potatoes.
                                        3. Your dealer/showroom representative takes the money and places the order through their mobile.
                                        4. Instead of delivering 1.5 Kg of Potatoes you delivered 1 Kg of Onion as your system is programmed with price and not the product.
                                        5. My contention is that why are your dealer/showroom employees aware of this and deny taking amount for such transactions
                                        6. Lastly even after pointing the mistake to the dealer on the spot and to you in mail officially next day, why are you not reversing the transactions as the scheme was of no use to me. I rarely send SMS. Most importantly the scheme was valid up to 15th October in home network ( as per your mail) and except for few days from 29th to 30th September and 7th to 15 th October, I was out of home network.

                                        In case if you feel that I have some logical arguments in above, you may speak to me, reverse the transaction and sort out the issue, or else let me forward the case to external regulatory authority/forums.

                                        1. I had gone to Delhi due to medical emergency of my family. In due course my stay by Aircell number was falling short of balance.
                                        2. I went your dealer in Vaishali, “My Shop Mobile World” in Vaishali, Ghaziabd on 25th September’09 and requested for recharge of Rs 200. He recharged for Rs 200 and he received a transaction number DLR[protected] stating recharge successful. I paid Rs 200 and was issued a receipt number 1383 for E recharge of Rs 200. I received a SMS “Transaction number MUR[protected] to recharge 200 INR is under process”. I received another SMS “207: Transaction number MUR[protected] to recharge 0 INR is successful”. Thereafter I received two SMS from Aircell “There is some problem. Please contact our customer care service”.
                                        3. The dealer requested me get in touch with nearby Aircel showroom located at Shop No 129 Shopprix mall, Sector 5, Vaishali, Ghaziabad 201010 for solving the issue.
                                        4. I went to your showroom but your personnel at the Aircell showroom had no clue why Rs 200/- was not recharged. They requested try recharge of small domination Rs 10 from their showroom. It was successfully recharged for Rs 7.07 (Transaction Number MUR[protected]
                                        5. Then I gave them Rs 300 for recharging and they issued receipt No 00020356 towards recharge. However I received SMS “207: Transaction number MUR[protected] to recharge 0 INR is successful”. Thereafter I received three SMS from Aircell, stating that “There is some problem. Please contact our customer care service”.
                                        6. Unable to solve the issue and give any clue on the failure to top up the amount, your Aircell showroom provided me contact numbers and Email Ids of Nodal Officer Mr. Bhakti Salve [protected] and Appellate officer Mr. Madan Bajpai [protected] and requested me to contact them for solving the issue

                                        8. I wrote a mail to you marking copy to nodal officer Mumbai and Delhi on 26th September informing about the anomaly.
                                        9. I came back to Mumbai for two days on 29th & 30th September. I went your Aircell showroom in Thakur village, Kandivali East (I had obtained the SIM card from this showroom) and enquired about the above transactions. They searched in your official system and stated that it is showing Rs 200 and Rs 300 transaction is successful. However they were unable to state the reason of not loading Rs 500/- in my account. On their request I forwarded the SMS received from ETOP aircell about Recharge 0 successful from my mobile to their mobile No [protected]. They promised to contact personnel of your company and solve the issue. I again left for Delhi and back in Mumbai on 6th October’09.

                                        I have all the cash receipts from your dealer/showroom in Delhi and SMS as proof of the above transactions.

                                        In the meantime I received your mail stating that I have been provided some free SMS and STD pack in lieu of Rs 200 and Rs 300 applicable from home network only. I would like to state that

                                        1. I was and am not interested in any SMS/STD/local calling scheme.
                                        2. I paid cash for recharging my balance, so that I could have used your service in Delhi, as I badly needed to contact others in emergency.
                                        3. Your dealer and showroom should not have accepted the above amount for recharging if we’re not correct denominations for top up. Leave aside customers, your dealers and showroom personnel are not aware of such scheme and did not forewarn me for not recharging Rs 200 and Rs 300, as system is configured to load scheme configured to that amount. Even your employees at my home network at Thakur Village showroom at Kandivali, Mumbai are not aware of such scheme and system configurations.
                                        4. It is inexplicable why customers were allowed by system to recharge schemes applicable in Mumbai from Delhi while roaming, as they would not be benefitted.
                                        5. It seems your system is configured to load schemes automatically configured for the amount, irrespective of what the customers want.
                                        6. I am sorry to state that almost two weeks have passed, instead of reverting transactions and giving me credit as top up or refund for Rs 500/-, I received a reply stating Rs 200 and Rs 300 are for some schemes applicable from home network and valid till 10th October’09.

                                        It is illogical for customer to request for recharging a scheme applicable in Mumbai while roaming in Delhi and your system accepting it without warning. Although it is not my intention or purview to advice on your system applications, simple checks & logic in your system would have avoided such situations. Consumers are not supposed know about all your schemes and system logic.

                                        Inaction in terms of reversing/refunding on the transactions stated above, even after informing you and Aircel representatives, leads to interpretation that such transactions are deliberately overlooked taking a fraudulent tinge. It is not the amount of Rs 500 that matters, loaded erroneously into some scheme against customer’s consent; but defending the mistake and not acting in spite of pointing to you and your authorized personnel tend to reveal a veiled style, dubious tactics of selling schemes against customer’s needs.

                                        If you realize from the facts stated above that mistake has been committed unknowingly by your staff/authorized dealers due to system configurations, please reverse the transactions and provide top-up balance for Rs 500 or refund by 16th October’09. Thereafter, I am at liberty take up the issue with regulatory authorities, consumer forums, legal recourse and media to get redressal and informing public of such compelling way of forcing schemes. Please appreciate I would not be able spare time in explaining & replying to your mails.

                                        i have purchase new aircel parepaid in faridabad .
                                        i am using this card in gujrat.
                                        he card is also unbarred, but this card is not running in gujrat,
                                        he also suport vodafone network,
                                        this card main account balance is 90.66
                                        please sall my problem.
