Dear Sir/Madam

I have a aircel prepaid connection no. [protected]. I have 98 unlimited internet scheme activated on it. But I have a problem regarding its internet speed. The speed is too slow, i.e. even I can't check my mail ID. It's take too much time to open any web page. But mostly i get a pager error message. I changed my handset too, but still i have a problem. The changed handsets is N95(Nokia) and now i am using E71 (Nokai). I'm frustrated to this slow speed.
Please help me out of this situation.

Aircell has been in cheating business for all these years and many of may friends have changed over to other services.
I wonder why they shouuld stoop so low to make a fortune, may be thay advertise distress notices and beg for alms.
It is shame on you Aircel.
I have been using aircel prepaid service for past 2 years ([protected]). And yesterday (27.11.09) i, to my anguish found that my sim was invalid. The display in my handset showed that sim is invalid.
I tried the sim with another handset and it popped up 'sim registration failed'. I personally made a compalint at the aircel prepaid dealer in Komarapalayam ( Near Erode,Namakkal District, Tamilnadu) and to my surprise I was told that I would have middled with the settings of my handset and i had fire at them that no one else would do anything in my handset and being a doctorate i know how to handle a mobile set. Later I was told to get a new sim for Rs.150, and insisted that i want to know the reason, and called consumer complaints on [protected] and they told me to go to erode and make a personal complaint.
I wondered why on hell shoud i go in person to a dealer to get it done. Am I applying for rationcard, driving licende hence i had to present my self before the corrupt government officilans in a Thasildar office or collectorate.
It is obsurd that they could do nothing.

I started using an Aircel prepaid number recently, Service is good. But i am getting almost 10 unwanted calls (aircel advertisement calls) and messages. So to avoid this i spoke to the customer care they suggested to send SMS "START DND" to 1019, and they told this will be solved after 45 days. This is crazy how come activation takes 30 min, but deactivation takes 45 days? it might be small database change. These calls are too disturbing while in working hours and leisure time also.

had got a message on my no. ([protected]) 23rd november at 6.30PM. The
message was-" Hot and happenning friends are waiting just for
your call. Dial 570001. No call charges applicable. And enjoy ur life
with ne frds&quot". I called at 570001 and follow the voice
instruction i.e for hindi press1 and for english press2. I press 2.
Then the instruction given was to subscribe to frds zone with monthly
charge of rs30 press1. I immediately disconnected the call without
pressing any button. Then on 24th november at 1.43AM, i got a msg that
thanks for subscribing frds zone and 30rs was deducted from my account, I hadn't subscribed it at all.
In that msg it was written that to unsubscribe dial 570001(tol free). I
call at 6.30am and by following the voice instruction i unsubscribed it
for which i had got the confirmation msg also.
Then the same day
i.e, on 24th at 3.52PM I again received a msg that thanks for
subscribed to frds zone service. And again 30rs deducted from my
account. This time i had not even call the no. 570001 or any such no.
So a total of 60rs have been deducted from my account.

I had called at customer care but no action is being taken till now.
Plz help.

I just called up the Aircel Customer Care to get the DND activated. They told me it will take a 45 days. This is really illogical. Some other providers like idea and Aitel are providing the service in the max perod of 8 hours. Its not a difficult job after all. Everyone knows how irritating it is to recieve calls for stupid dailer tones at 5 in the morning. Do anyone prefer reciving this stupid calls and SMS anyway? Is it not better to ban this service after all.? Recieveing stupid calls and sms for 45 days more is no joke .

I got a aircel sim card from my native. They told me to give the address proof of myself. I have given my PAN card proof with one photo. But they are not accepted my PAN card proof. I have to known about address proof details of getting SIM card. Is it PAN card is valid to get the SIM card or not?

I have got a message from aircel mobile service provider on 23 Nov. The msg was- "Hot and Happening Friends Are just for your call. Dial 570001.No call charges applicable.So,Enjoy life with New friends."
I called at 570001 on 23rd November. I follow the voice instruction i.e, for hindi press 1, I press 1, then instrution was for subscribing to friend zone service press 1,charges 30rs per month,I didn't press it and immediately disconneted the call, Then on 24th Novemper, at about 5.30AM I got a msg thanks for subscribing frds zone service, and 30rs was deducted from my account.I had not subscribed it but then also it automatically subscribed. In that msg it was wrriten that for unsubscribing plz dial 57001(toll free), I immediately unsubscribed this service by following voice instruction. I have got the confirmation msg also that frd zone has been unsubscribed. Then On 24th november,at 3.30PM I again received a msg thanks for subscribing frd zone service and 30rs. again deducted from my account. This time I had not even call the number570001.
I have complained about this in customer care but no action is being taken.

I don't know how to deactivate my aircel post paid pocket internet connection. Can u help me to deactivate the pocket internet connection.....

My no is [protected]. i am getting very speed of GPRS.Aircel customer care told me that our GPRS speed is 40-50 kbps but this is worng information . the here actual speed of Aircel GPRS is about 1-2 kbps. This is a case of cheating . It is very painful to not only me but also to all the subscribers . The customer care are telling us that it will get well in 24 hours. But will they expand their validity. I want some serious step agaist this froad.

I have been using the Aircel student plan, which gives me 150 free messages every day and also calls between aircel studen plan nos. fr 25p per min and local calls at 50p per min..
Then after introduction of the 1p plan, Aircel without any information or prior intimation switched me over to the 1p per sec plan and increasing my call rates and also making me lose my message pack, after several complaints they agreed to switch it bak but after waiting for months today the customer care inform me that my request is not possible!
How can they even claim that my request is wrong when they have illegally switched my plan and made it impossible for me to use my Cellphone to its full extent due to increased rates especially the messages

My friends suggest i take them to the Consumer court and file charges against them. What would you say i do??

I have a Aircel connection with number [protected], which i have bought on 16th of September 2009 i am having problems from the day of the activation. I have spoke to a excalation manager by name Sudhakar on 16th of Oct 2009 after explaining him the issue he said he will give a reversal of Rs.98/- with in a week.I waited for 15 days and called him back he said he will need more 24hrs, i again called him he gave me a number of his Sr.Excalation manager Vishnu who apologised and said he will need more 24 hrs of time to get it sort it out.Its now more than 35 days. Aircel has not keep its promise, When they cant keep the promise why do they promise.I wanted to cancel my number and get the entire refunded what ever i have spent for Aircel.I would like to sue them can you please let me know what will be the procedure.

Since last 7 days i called costomer care but nn use. It is disgusting. Pse someone kiod to hel. Gprs working in mobile, not connecting to pc. i tried many setting i.e.= country-india/ blank, isp-other/ blank, apn-aircelweb/aircelwebpost/aircelwap etc, phone number-*99# / blank. 1. i was take a airtel postpaid<[protected]> connection for use of internet by beetel modem.after 4 or 5 month my modem was damage and it was not working properly.so i decided to parmanently close my postpaid number.i paid my all pending my all bills and i closed it.after some month they told me your bill is in due.
2.my brother was take a aircel number <[protected]> and it was working properly.after one month bill came 13000/ rupee.he complained there.and after month cleared the bill was only 3000/rupee.that time i paid all bills and closed that postpaid number.next day i confirmed that my number closed or not they declared that was closed.after 2 or 3 month later they told me you payment is due.

i am using aircel prepaid intrnet service. but its speed too slow, it takes near bout 10 to 15 minutes to open a web page and in downloading it takes too much time that sometimes i have to wait for 3 to 4 hours to download small things which can be downloaded in half an hour. i am very tired using this server. this service really disapoin many users and i am one of them...
and if you really want to do some thing for your cutomers, so then make your service better and provide us a good speed server......

i am one of your customer, i am using your company aircel prepaid sim card.
and i want to state that i have not asked for any callertunes but aircel have set my callertune by their own and deducted my Rs.20.
i dont nedd any callertune and i want my mony back.......
so, if really want to do some something then plz give my money back....

I was using Aircel no.[protected]. After 15-20 days o[censored]se, it just stopped working (incoming and outgoing) without any prior notice as to why. I guessed may be it is due to low balance. I went Aircel's Outlet. The Salesperson put in Rs. 150 which was confirmed then, but still I couldn't make or recieve calls. I was told that my number was barred, due to televerification failure. I never recieved any call from them, and despite that they bar my ( consumer's) commodity, this is sheer stealing money and time.
And the GREAT Salesperson never told me that before recharging a 150 Rupees on it.

I was given a complaint number and told I will receive a Tele-verfication call within 7 Days, which never occured. Infuriated I called Customer Care, and a simple reply,"We've forwarded your complaint".....I mean so simple for them, but losses for me as my important contacts couldn't call. Finally I called Nodal Officer, some assistant picks up and says again to wait 7 days.....Oh God.....So slow...just to make a call....what a Hell of a Company.....I had another new number[protected], for which too, till now no tele-verifcation call came...will it be barred too?? I am apprehending.

Anyways I never received any call and number has revived to work again...but do you believe it, Rs 150.00 that I recharged....ain't there......!!!!!! Again STEALING.......AIRCEL you're behaving as THIEVES, SHAME ON YOU.......You ain't having ' Customer Care' you must be quoted " Customer ,DARE? "

Please take care..of my recharges, Barring of numbers...and also of your Network....or else I Will stop using your 'Service', take it personal issue to propagate your defamation and see you in the Consumer Court.

I am jewellery shop owner and from my left one cell shop and from my right tv shop. the companies are giving advertisement boards, stickers and big size hoardings. I am a small shop owner and there advertisements are much disturbing my business by completely covering the shops in both sides. then how can i run business by paying salary, rent, eb and tax. this is long problem and today only i see this and sending this mail. how can i clear this problem and local police are not able to control this people.

I took 3 connections with aircel pospaid and activated 450+ plan on the same. For two numbers it was activated correctly and the third number was [protected] activated as per 150+ plan. I called customer care many many times but this was not corrected. i received two bills one for 1600/- where the actual bill as per my plan was 990/- and other bill was 2700 where as the actual bill was 940/- this was never corrected and i received the third and fourth bill as per 450+ plan. And stopped using the connection as my problem was not rectified.

I had a collection representative visiting my place and demanding payment. When i asked for a revised bill they are not willing to provide the same and they said they will geive a settlemet and if they calculate as per 450+ plan there is only a differnce of 800/- but i clarified and showed them there is a difference of more than 2000/- and they agreed to wave off. the bill was 13,500/- and got reduced to 10,500/- and i had made a security deposit of 900 for 3 connections i asked them to minus it but they say it has been adjusted but it has not adjusted. And there is a national sms charged for 1300 where as there is no volume in bill when i enquired they sent me a mail with sms sent to numbers in an excell sheet with time and date. i dont think i have used so many sms service - The bill after deduction of security deposit and ths Sms issue comes to 7600/- but they are asking me to pay 8500/-

What do i do pls help.

I can't access pocket internet on my mobile,i'm having the settings,i'm in roaming now.I had recharged my mobile with Rs97 for pocket internet but i can't access the network,would you please try to correct the network or could you fefund the money as talk time,i didn't use iteven once.I can't check the balence also.
Please take necessory action for this.

this is with reference to the advt.no 165330,in Deshdoot Times,nasik, local english daily, dated 6 nov 09.
the advt was for installation space for aircel/idea tower. with a promise of 30,000/- inr rent per month,
10 lac inr advance, 20 year agreement for the same.
The mobile numbers given- [protected] and [protected].
on contacting the number [protected] a girl by the name of Suhana instructed us to deposit inr 4000
in the account of one Balwant Singh, account no. [protected], state bank of india. nasik road branch. as refundable registration amount for survey of place by their team within the next 48 hours.
we did so on 6 nov 09 and called up suhana who gave us a registration number- SIM000176A.
I contacted them on 7,9,11,13, 14 of nov ,suhana and her senior rahul sharma assured that their team would visit any time.
So far, no one has come and on enquiring with the aircel customer care about these people, they confirmed that no such persons were authorised by them.
they are fraudsters.
Today,now, no one is picking up the phone.

I would like the consumer forum to help me get my money back.
and also to warn the public against these cheats
and to nab them immediately
