I bought 4 quantity of Makaibari Green Tea 25 tea bags as this was listed as a product on Askmebazaar.com. This purchase was made on 28th April 2015.
The MRP mentioned in listing was Rs. 865 and they showed me a discount of 39% and showed selling price as a deal for Rs. 521.
When I received the product, there was a big issue.
The product MRP was hidden by seller by pasting sticker of "Web Sale Only". I tried to remove sticker, but it was placed in such a way that as soon as i removed it, the MRP used to be unreadable
I contacted the Makaibari (manufacturer) of the product and they informed that that each box of 25 tea bags is priced (MRP) at Rs. 90, so total of 4 boxes will be Rs. 360.
So in short Ask me bazaar showed inflated MRP of a product as rs. 865 which in real costed only Rs. 360.
This product was shipped a seller of Askme bazaar named "New Datta Tea Co." with address "1/37/3, Groundfloor, Jatin Das Nagar, Belghoria, Kolkata - 700056". When Makaibari company people tried reaching this seller, he denied the matter and threatened them by gathering people around them. So this is kind of goondagardi.
I mailed Askmebazaar on [protected]@askmebazaar.com around 25 times, but they never respond on mails, in short they don't keep anything in black and white. Askmebazaar support called on these mails and they promised to give refund of my money paid, asked me to even send my bank account details for transfer to their email ID [protected]@askmebazaar.com
Even after months of sending my details, every call they used to say that transfer is initiated and will take 5-7 business days. When asked how come their NEFT transfer takes 5-7 business days when in real its same day transfer, they said its company process. Finally they said they won't give my money back.
COMPENSATION
Askmebazaar wasted my time and effort and caused me huge harassment from last 8 months. They must compensate by giving me complete refund and also compensate for harassment caused to me for 8 months.

I don't trust askmebazaar customer service. As soon as matter will move from this forum to their ticketing, no resolution will be given and customer like me will be harassed as was done for past so many months.
