Avadi Municipality Complaints & Reviews

I am a resident of new vellanur area. The veltech institution is letting out its untreated sewage water into the residential plots illegally. This heavily stinking waste water is becoming a breeding place of mosquitos and pose threat to the health of the residents.

An appropriate action from the local administration body will be highly appreciated.

Over 10 street lights in a row were washed out during the vardah cyclone in dec 2016 in the 60 feet railway station road, devi nagar, from hdfc atm to sbi atm. This long stretch was in dark during night causing insecurity to the residents of devi nagar, jb nagar, sridevi vaishnavi nagar and vaishnavai nagar who alight at annanoor railway station to go their residence.

This was taken up with avadi municipality repeatedly and was delayed due to paucity of funds, as stated by municipality officials. Finally, after a long period of one year, new street light sets were allotted to fit in these poles, day before yesterday.

Unfortunately, at the instigation of ex-mc who got hold with officials, major number of these new lights were fitted in the southern part of 60 feet railway station road after removing the tube lights which were in good burning condition. Only 3 new street lights were fitted in the poles between hdfc atm and sbi atm, leaving still some more poles to be fitted with lights.

This sort of mis-management occurs in this area of ward 14 and ward 13 at the instructions of vested interest.

Dear sir, i have come to pay property tax and found some observations :
1. Billing is taking huge time though there are hardly 5 or 6 persons before me need to wait for at least 1 hr to make payment.
2. Eagerly waiting for online payment.
3. The place is not cleaned and feel awkward to stand in queue.
4. Only one person is doing billing work and other three persons were idle.

Iam calling avadi muncipality contract for cleaning septic tank they are saying today coming at midnight everyday but not coming everyday say excuse. Contact person mr. Karthi [protected] he is the answer the phone call and speaking badly and he dont know how to speak respectly too. There are four street lamp posts on 5th street, j. B. Estate, avadi. Only two are working. I have personally gone to avadi municipality on 26 july 2017 and written the complaint in the street light register.

Since no action was taken, i once again visited the avadi municipality only to find that the complaint in the register was ticked off as though attended. I once again got the complaint written down in tamil in august.

During september i met the officer and apprised him of my complaint. He promised to attend to the complaint.

The lamp was disconnected and kept near our side compound wall. Till today no further action has been taken.

Our commercial building is located at babu nagar entrance abutting cth road and anna salai pattabiram chennai. Hero two wheelers have taken this building on rent. Somebody from some party is giving nuisance by placing a big digital banners in front of our building which is completely hiding our building and thus giving trouble for the past one year for their business. We have tried to solve through the local leaders and also given police complaints several times, but of no use. Every time they remove the boards for their request and places another big board continuously until this date. They don't listen to any body and at police station the inspector says to give a complaint to avadi municipality for permanent solution. Hence you are kindly requested to do the needful to do our business permanently without their nuisance.

Dear sir the condition of roads and drainage water mixed with rain water getting stagnated in the locality is evident and creates a lot of problem for the residents in the ganeshnagar ext locality in mittenamallie survey no 182/4 even after getting approval from municipality for constructing a house and paying the property tax we are deprived of road and drainage facility. Moreover the market road in mittenamallie is encroached by shops and street dwellers. During morning hours lot of school bus from iaf/crpf/st mays block the road and makes it difficult for the two wheelers commuting to office and school going children in cycles. Its all due to illegal buildings and blocking of drainages and casual attitude of residents who route their drainage water towards empty land/ and throw waste in open area. Kindly look into the issue and resolve the problem at the earliest.

Respected sir the dustbin near salvation school is overflowing on road. Important is the way is used by school students. Also lots of mosquitoes are breeding & pigs. The bad odour is affecting passers by. Please take action soon and don't dispose waste in residential places. Also we request don't dump lots of waste there. Hope the issue will be resolved soon. Dear sir iam residing at jasmine nagar, tiruninravur, towards periyapalayam rute before pakkam town. Here r so many days has been passed after rainy the water getting condensed. No one has came from your side to visit the area to take any action and this area located around government school which is located in jasmine nagar now people r afraiding about spreading diseases and here in this situation lots of chance to spread dengue so kindly take some action before any one suffered as u know tat preventing is better than cure so plse do something need full for us

I am living in nirmala avenue, bharathi street, thirumullaivoyal nearby venkatachalam nagar. Nearby my home neighbour (2 flats) residing people are pour their sock pit water in street. I have to pass these flats to reach my home. Those drainage water is stagnant nearby my home. I talked to one of the person lived in that flat. But, i do not get proper response. I have kid & old people in my home. I little bit worried about spreading of dengue and malaria fever in our municipality. Could you please help to take action.

Respected sir, our vasantham nagr, yamunai st road is worst condition to use. Due to heavy rain, ditch was created on yamunai st starting road. Many schol going childrens and office goers are strugling day by day in this ways. Cars & autorikshaw are struck in this ditch and struggle to passout this out. Please take necesary action to clear the ditch

I'm from wars no 13 of avadi municipality, can you please let us know when the drainage and municipal water connection to our ward. And also please let us know how much we need to pay for municipality for getting connections. And also please let us know how much time will take to get this services after paying the charges to municipality. And also please provide the perfect contact to get this job done in municipality...

We residents of anna nagar, vivekananda avenue 2nd cross street (Ward 36). This avenue has three streets (In which i stay at 2nd street).

Recently, concrete jally was laid for 1 and 3 street completely, whereas for 2nd street it was done only for half (Half of the street). Due to incompleteness in the formation of road in 2nd street, the road is presently has up and down undulations. Because of recent monsoon rains, the water is being stagnated at low area side which is terribly causing problem to all of our residents at 2nd street. The stagnated water reacted with drainage water causing stinky smell and also causing air pollution. Further, to reach our home we need to walk in this contaminated water. Elders and children's are falling down while walking in this water. We are unable to go out to purchase our basic needs.

It is worth while to mention at this point that, dengue mosquito's are being attracted by stagnated water, which is a matter of serious concern. We are really worried that dengue may affect us. As we aware by tamil media that government of tamil nadu is taking several actions on to avoid water logging in the open areas.

In view of the above, you are requested to take necessary action to remove this stagnated water, and also to instruct the respective official to complete the road.

Am a resident of rajiv gandhi nagar sekadu avadi for the past 14 years. All roads in our neighbourhood streets have been laid. Ot once but twice. Till date the roads in our street has not been laid. The same being muddy roads gets clogged most of the time. Both times when the roads were laid in other streets we had raised our concerns. There are more than 15 houses in this particular street. We request you to provide a bt road at the earliest. Request you to look into this and solve the same as it is really frustrating for us to travel to work and other purposes.

I am residing in tnhb avadi. Its been 3 days since rain, but, still water logged near kanchipuram cooperative bank and people finding difficult to walk.
I haven't seen this much water logged for so many days in tnhb road dead end in past 2 years.
Please visit and check what is causing the water to be logged for so many days as this is affecting our daily life. Please find the attached pic and take action.

Sir there is water stagnation in sapthagiri nagar near karthick castle, next to gandhiji matric school. Open drain is available up to gandhiji matric school, i humbly request that open drain may kindly be extended to the sapthagiri nagar as early as possible please

Sir, iam residing at avadi vivekanada nagar chennai -54 behind avadi vivekananda school. During rainy season s, all rain waters and drainage water came to my areas. No proper drianage built for rain water. To day 6th nov 2017, only few rains. But all rain water and drainage water coming from tnhb avadi coming in our roads. All school childrens, all people walking in this water. Water is logged in my areas no jcb came in my area. Kindly do needful for my areas. Thanks

Website for property tax payment is not properly maintained. For senior citizens like me it will be easier if the web sites for on line payments are working properly.
Please give many sites for payment of tax if you approach banks they will make arrangements to pay the tax in atms also. I am staying in b9/131 kendriya vihar paruthipattu avadi

We (Family) are residing at 62a, 6th street, 3rd cross street, thendral nagar west, thirumullaivoyal chennai 62 since last 25 years. At that time to till this time, we have no proper road in our street, now rainy season started we cant left out from our house also. All officials and other counsilers came at the time of election and promise us to complete the road after election. I am attaching herewith some photographsand videos for your referece and action
