[Resolved]  Bajaj Finance — Cheating case - for 2 year warranty they sold life insurance

I took loan to buy Samsung LED 32 inc TV. When I took this TV Bajaj fiance guy told me that i would get 2 Year extended warranty. I opted of that. By putting 1500 Rs. Now my TV have a problem. When i looked into this loan account there is no 2 year extended warranty. But they have linked 4040CD00324251 insurance. That's the life insurance. Why should i want life insurance for this consumer product? Does this make any sense to anyone???

When i called up customer center. Person named Sandeep Sharma blasted me. What they think about customer - idiotic people?

I have 2 year extended warranty cover note number. That's the proof that i have asked for 2 year extended warranty whereas they sold some life insurance to customer.

I have submitted my documents for personal loan in bajaj, After that they sent one mail and called me to reply to that mail then we will process your request.

I asked to reduce ROI and processing fee, they told me after sending mail, final call would be there when i can discuss ROI and Processing fee, But i haven't got any final call and amount got credited to my account with out sending any mail or any call.

From 2 days i am sending mails to them but they are not responding, what you guys want me to do, any compliant againast Bajaj or else to any higher authority ?

Q4. What are the main exclusions of the Extended Warranty Program from Bajaj Finserv?

A. The main exclusions are as under:

1. 10% of the claim amount is deductible, subject to a minimum of Rs. 500 with respect to each and every claim;
2. Loss or damage arising out of the insured asset not being used in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions;
3. Loss or damage for which the manufacturer of the insured asset is responsible under a guarantee and/or warranty;
4. Replacement of any consumable item of the insured asset, including but not limited to batteries, bulbs, plugs, cables, ribbons, belts, tapes, fuses, filters, toner or software;
5. Failure of parts which are subject to recall by manufacturer of the insured asset;
6. Loss or damage arising out of any external cause, including but not limited to fire, theft, explosion, water damage, acts of God, etc.;
7. Where the Insured asset is subject to commercial, rental or profit generation purposes;
And other exclusions as per policy.


Feed back - Point no. 4, 5 and 6 includes everything that is viable to damage or need replacement; and all these possibilities excluded from the extended warranty.
Now lets have a look at the below question. In below Q5 and its Answer there is nothing detailed written; I mean what is included as everything is excluded
I am writing this review because a merchant fooled me with this plan that costed me 1562/- INR.


Q5. Why should customers buy Extended Warranty policy from Bajaj Finserv?

A. The primary reason for buying an Extended Warranty Policy is to have extra protection for valuable appliances after expiry of the manufacturer’s product warranty period.

For majority of the appliances, manufacturer’s product warranty is usually offered for a period of 6 months to 12 months. After expiry of this period, the customers are likely to incur significant expenses if the particular appliance fails. However, with the help of our Extended Warranty Program, you can enjoy comprehensive protection for your valuable appliances for a period of 12/24/36 months even after expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty period.

i have taken extended warranty for may hitachi ac, my policy no. is OG[protected]-00179146 and i have given complaint of ac for not cooling, my complaint no. is oc[protected], and its been 15 days and my problem is not solved, if i am calling the customer care then they have given me regional manager Mr. Bhuvnesh Mehta no. and that no. is constantly engage. There is no solution for my problem.

This is most unprofessional method for customer problem resolution

I had bought a policy for extended warranty of my Godrej Split AC,
This AC has become faulty since 4th of August, I had lodged a compliant in your customer care against which I was provided a Complaint #. OC[protected] telephonically, no email of SMS unlike most of the compliants registered these days.Attached policy document:OG[protected]-00285923

It was parallely assured that it will be attended in maximum between -24 to 48 hrs,
Unfortunately there was not a single look-up or check done from company since more than 72 hrs+
When yesterday it was enquired the customer care gave me regional Head's contact no. which not getting picked since yestreday, it was suggested to get it rectified from OEM(Godrej) service center and claim being produced to Bajaj alliance.

I had got it checked from OEM who had surveyed and diagnosed problem of faulty condensor & gas leak leak which they have made a charge of around 8-9 thoudand rupees,
This may be reverified at Godrej Service Center Mr.Vijay

I am puzzled, In lack of any confirmation from Bajaj Allainz should I go ahead with this expense and then claim it from Bajaj??
I am salaried class person and cannot wait for whole time to get this rectified.Today I have taken off from office for merely resolving this issue but no response is coming.

I had registered an no response call too in you customer care :Escalation Complain#63764022, they provided me some other office no.[protected] which again is constantly engaged.

The Bajaj Finserv extended warranty really sucks. I logged a complaint OC[protected] for my AC Problem more than 2 weeks back. A person visited in a couple of days and inspected the AC. Then he said he'll come tomorrow with all tools and necessary approvals to fix the issue. But its almost 12 days since that happened. No-one visited to fix the AC and I never received any call from Bajaj for status of my complaint. WORST SERVICE EVER.
Whenever I call the customer care or HO they'll say "Sorry for delay it'll be resolved in next 2 days" and I'm hearing that for last 3 times. Its really difficult to reach someone in HO/Reginal Head as they'll never pick the phone.

I'LL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO FOR BAJAJ ALLIANZ. They're just fooling us around.
Hello I purchased a TV and took Bajaj Extended Warranty on 29th Sept 2016 the TV is not working and I raised a complaint with the costumer care on 29th. After couple of days a technician visited and informed their is problem with the TV and he will come the next day and collect the TV for repair and get it done. No one has come till date I have spoken to your regional manager Malikarjun and he says today it will be done tomorrow it will be done. Nothing is done till date. You guys need to inform the costumers this how our service is before providing the extended warranty and collecting the money from costumers. My LAN no is 404EWC09660612. with high frustration I writing this complaint,

I purchased a 32 " LG Smart TV using the Bajaj Finance EMI on May/2016 and I have repaid all the amount included the extended warranty for the TV I purchased. I paid Rs.2, 988 /- for the extended warranty. Now I'm have a serious problem in my television where the display got scattered and not able to see any picture. I calling your customer care for more than 50 times all I got was another tollfree no.

I say yes for the extended warrenty to the bajaj finance represntative. That time but now i don't want extended warrenty its not being rpofessional..I want to cancle this extwnded warrenty my emi will be start from[6/2/2018].. So do it fast.
