Complaint marked as Resolved The amount was transferred back to my account about 20 days after the complain, fairly under the limit prescribed by the bank.
It is important to :-
1) To understand the concerns of the customer by the restaurants, before voiding transaction on a debit card, as it takes much longer for the money to be re-deposited as compared to the Credit card void transaction. As in our case the restaurant was in a different city, it caused us trouble.
2) For the bank (Bank of Baroda) to speed up this process of Void transaction.
