I had booked two rooms in Capital O Perfect Inn, Noida for 28 Jun-30 Jun through Booking.com and as per their request through email paid an advance amount of Rs 1892.69 through Google Pay for this booking on 27 Jun 2023. Subsequently I received a confirmation from OYO hotels through Booking.com regarding confirmation of the booking (Confirmation No. [protected]). But on 28 Jun 2023 I cancelled this booking and also received a confirmation regarding the cancellation. But although I have made several requests for refunding the advance that I had paid, I have not yet received the amount. On contacting Booking.com, they said to take up with the hotel. On contacting the hotel, the owner/Manager says it is OYO’s responsibility to return and not his. And on contacting OYO, they furnished a Ticket Id No.[protected] on 4 Jul 2023 and said Customer Service will get back to me but there has been no response from them after that. Neither from Booking.com nor from OYO.
Since I had made the booking through Booking.com it is their responsibility to see that I get back my money either from OYO or the hotel or wherever and they cannot just shift their responsibility and push off.
So please help me in getting back my money of Rs. 1892.69.
