We were in high need of a maid who can work for us for a 3-4 hours time and perform variety of works. They took rs 7000 from us for this service and the obligation was to get us the maid or up to 3 replacements within six months.

We had specifically requested maid who can sharply come at a specific time and thus we were looking for a maid who stays nearby. My area is complete outskirt of bangalore and there is no dearth of villages nearby.

This agency kept sending maids from areas as far as 3-7 kms from my house which were not feasible for us as we had to be completely particular about timings.

Finally they got us one maid from our area who was a pathetic cook but we kept her because we were in extreme need. This lady also left within 3 weeks on account of her husband's weak health.

After that bookmybai were supposed to get us at least two replacement but they didn't. They kept telling we are not getting any one else.

Finally they agreed to return our money but in the form of credit note.

It's been more than two months, we haven't received that credit note.

They have stopped picking our calls.

I would like to beware you all. Kindly stay away from this company. They are complete cheaters.

I was looking for maid for 2 hours in bangalore. promarily baby sitting. the website mentiones rate as[protected] inr.
after i paid up the 1000 inr to shortlist maids- i must have shortlisted close to 12 maids.
i get a call from book my maid a few minutes later mentioning that the rate provided is incorrect on website - it is 5000 inr minimum for 2 hours, regardless of the work.
2. none of the shortlisted maids are available as all of them are already working elsewhere.
So there is not information correct on the website. they are a money making agency making a fool out of individuals.

I registered a request for cleaner & baby sitter vide requirement id - 33789 on www.bookmybai.com. while this request was registered on 06/06/2018, there was no call received or any correspondence made and no coordinator assigned.

Thereafter i was asked in the website to make a refundable payment of rs. 1000 for assigning coordinator who was supposed to give the solution on priority basis.

I made the payment on their website vide cc avenue "order #[protected]" on[protected]:27:50 pm.

On 09/06/2018, i called the assigned coordinator pavithra, and i was informed that they do not have any maids to meet my requirement and will take another 2 days i. E. By 11/06/2018.

Since then, i am calling the said coordinator and her mobile is continuously switched off and moreover their customer care number which i received over sms i. E.[protected]After speaking with the said coordinator on 09/06/2018) is not being picked by any one.

This company looks like a fraud. No response is there even after submitting the request through their "contact us" section of their website.

Please look into this matter and the payment of rs. 1000 shall be refunded back on priority.

They sent 2 maid who are not my type. Means i searched for hindi language they sent kannada or some other language. Still i agreed but maid not came to work. They said i mean the executive name is padma. She said they will refund nd asked for my bank details. Its almost 1.5 month 1000rs for registration till not refunded nor receiving my calls. They r a fraud. Im sure the good reviews for book my bai site is paid fake review.

Hi, my hired a domestic help from bookmybai in hyderabad in 2016. They sent one maid but due to her medical conditions she had to leave. Bookmybai then gave us a credit note worth 14000/- with a promise to provide us maid whenever it is available. We have been following bookmybai from past 1 year but mo response. They have closed their hyderabad office, so there is no chance that we can use the credit note provided by them. When we call their call center for refund they hang our call. Bookmybai is nothing but a group of fraud people.

I had kept a maid from december 15 2017. She is leaving and i informed the agency well in advance and despite that no follow up on replacement. They all come to collect their initial commission.
They don't pick up calls, are rude, say they are looking but don't really do it
I see so many complaints for the same.. Maybe we should all get together and sue them. I have been communicating with maria and amit from bombay office.. Very angry with the lack of service.

I booked care taker for my grandma 1st person how came to my house was very worst she was not knowing how to take care of elder people when we wear not there at home she used to sleep than they provided me replacement how and she joined on 19th april from 19th april she took 3 uninformed leave and ever next day coming late i want my money refund which i hv paid to bookmybai

I have been asking for a maid replacement for a month or and i still haven't got one... The old maid went for a one week leave and never returned from april 1st. Effectively, the maid you sent had worked only for 3 months and 10 days. And i have paid for 6 months of maid replacement. I'm really not happy with your service and despite paying you the whole amount, i've been suffering. Could you please refund atleast half the fee i have paid you?

Bookmybai took 1000rs from me to post a requirement. When i didn't receive any callback, i decided to call off my requirement and opt for refund.
Bookmybai people have not refunded my money yet. They aren't picking my call or responding to my emails.
I have even tried contacting them on twitter.
I just want my money back from this fraud company.

I have availed the service and after one month asked for replacement as maid was not doing child care properly.

I have requested for replacement or refund on 31 march. Nothing has happened till now.

I am calling customer care daily first of all they don't pick call even if they pick they tell lies saying
Maid bus missed
Bike puncture
Field executive not available
Main not picking phone

I am hearing this everyday and fedup with the horrible and pathetic service.

I have never seen and experienced such pathetic and horrible service in my life.
I want my refund asap i don't want pathetic service.

Fraud service. It says it will serve you faster if you pay them 1000/- as a refundable fee. They do not even take a look at the requirement.
### service they do not refund. They only say they will. They removed my requirement but did not even initiate the refund. Their coordinator does not pick up any call. The CUSTOMER CARE says their finance guy is on leave. How can you be such a cheat.

Had posted my requirement 1 week back and paid 1000 inr. No response from the agency after multiple calls and emails. Even my post regarding the same keeps on getting deleted. All they have to say when i call is, someone is going to call back in ten minutes.
All attempts to contact the agency are unsuccessful and there is no link on the website to claim the refund.

I am highly unsatisfied with the services of bookmybai. No replacement is provided at all and the executives give vague ans. They take their fees and then dont bother. I wrote a mail on [protected]@bookmybai.com email add as provided by their employee stating that ceo will reply but no reply from anyone yet. I want my refund back as they cant give me replacement. Its been more than 10 days that i am left without a maid. They send just any maid for interview just foe the heck of it without telling the maids aee requirements and then the maids leave.

Really very very poor service quality. I need my refund back if i am not provided with a proper replacement in 2 days time.

Worst experience ever. They don't have any options as per your requirements and fool you with sweet talks. I lost my mother in september 2017, had to hire a cook for my dad's lunch; since i am working. Their maids.. Take leaves when they want for more than 2 days in a month. Actually 5-6 days in a month. Come late for 2hrs without informing.. For lunch time cook. To make matters worse they say we will not refund the money.. Even when they don't have an option as per your requirement. Dont pick their calls.. Supervisor mr amit... Says will callback and never does.. You have to keep following up.. As you are in need for which you have have paid a penalty (Service fee of inr 6000)... 6000 in wain, maid salary in wain, on too of it you have to order from out due to their incapable maids.. All a bloody scam and a wastage of your hard earned money.. Worst is they don't even understand the emotional situation you are in... Inhumane... Never book my bai... Or any for that matter.. 1st and last time.. Worst experience... Instead of making my life easy with these bureaus its been bad..!!

Its been 30days since the maid these guys provided left. As per their initial promise they were to provide a immediate replacement, but none have ever turned up. Every time i complain to their management, they schedule an interview for next day stating they have found someone for us, but on the day of interview they cancel the schedule or say that my phone was not reachable. Their coordinators lie from their teeth and has no integrity towards their customers. I need a refund from these guys asap!!!

We would like to highlight our terrible experiences with book my bai. We requested for a full time maid who can cook, clean and look after our two pet dogs. The pet handling experience was stressed upon as a “must have” requirement in our request.
We were told by ms. Maria that we would be provided a maid as per our requirement for a monthly salary of ₹17000. However the agency demanded a service fee equivalent to one month’s salary plus gst which amounted to ₹20060 which we promptly paid. We were never informed that this fee was non refundable and non adjustable. This was also never mentioned to us by the agent who came home with the maids for interview and he simply gave us an invoice on the back side of which it’s stated that the said amount is non refundable, something most people are bound to miss.

However we selected a maid named lata from the two that were sent for interview and she was employed shortly thereafter. We noticed that the maid was extremely unprofessional, unhygienic and used to back answer whenever corrected. She used to sleep until late and had to be woken up daily. Our calls to the agency regarding the same were only acknowledged with the option of a replacement. However we decided to give her a chance as she claimed severe financial crisis. One day when we had guests at home, she demanded a day off to meet her ex employer with whom we suspect that she had struck an unofficial deal as she started throwing tantrums the next day demanding that she couldn’t continue to work and that she be relieved immediately with remuneration according to days which she had worked. The agency refused to help or intervene and we were simply asked to clear her dues and relieve her and wait for a replacement. We had to pay her ₹10300. Also there was absolutely no communication between our coordinator and the maid coordinator. We tried to desperately call the agency but all we got were false promises from ms maria and were kept waiting for 10 days. Finally when we ran out of patience and after an intervention of a manager mr. Nizam, they sent another maid for interview. This maid was never briefed about our requirement and she was obviously rejected.

The drama continued and after few more calls to the mr. Nizam they sent a couple of maids for interview. By now we had lost faith in the agency and we just gave it a last shot since we had paid for the service. The maids were again not as per our requirement and seemed like they were just sent as a knee jerk reaction to our calls. We asked them a few questions about their past experiences and family details and eventually selected a maid called roji. When she showed up for work, we were shocked to hear that her name was not roji but nikita and that the agency had asked her to lie about her family background for reasons best known to them. She did not have any id proof with her and claimed it was with the agency. We also weren’t sure if her background credentials were duly verified. This maid was extremely bad at basic chores like cleaning and her cooking was terrible and she had no experience with pets. And all she did was sleep, watch tv and spend hours on the phone. When we appraised mr. Nizam about the situation we were told to keep her as a trial till a replacement was found. Finally when we told the maid that we couldn’t continue with her, she started throwing a fit and packed her bags and demanded remuneration for her “trial period”. To our shock and disbelief, the agency distanced itself from the whole issue once again and we were left to deal with an ugly situation ourselves.

We can sum up the functioning of this agency as per our experience as follows:

1) they just randomly send candidates and never as per the clients requirements.

2) they send inexperienced rookies and tutor them to make false claims about their credentials and past experience

3) they don’t make background checks about their candidates as the candidates themselves have given us different information than that provided by the agency. This can be a major security issue as we entrust our house, kids and belongings with them

4) it is totally unethical on their part to not inform clients about the fact that their service fee is non refundable and expect you to read the fine print on the back of their invoice which can go unnoticed, thereby letting them easily pocket the entire amount. Also their agents rush you through the entire process and just ask you to sign on the dotted line. We would’ve never agreed to pay the said amount had they mentioned the same.

6) their agents and managers blatantly lie and make false promises and there’s absolutely no inter-departmental communication. When we told our coordinator ms maria that we were considering legal actions she just challenged us to do whatever we wanted.

7) they don’t care about the maids once they’re sent and totally distance themselves should any problems or issues arise thereby leaving us to deal with the maids on our own. Also we’re made to look like people who ill treat them and treat them unfairly whereas it’s actually the agency which is doing the same.

We’ve lost about ₹30000 after our miserable experience and we feel we’ve been unfairly cheated and ripped off. They have broken our trust and they don’t care as there are many more unsuspecting customers like us. And sure enough, we came across numerous other cases online where this agency has cheated people.

We’ve decided to file an nc with our local police station and consult a lawyer for further legal course of action.

I am a working mother and registered with you for a full time maid. The two maids sent to me for trial purpose, both were in experienced and unwilling to work. This i found after spending some 5-6 hours with them. I treated them very nicely with warm meals three times a day and warm bedding, warm water for bathing etc. Then i asked them to stay back and learn to work in a pleasant environment with me. However, they told that your field agent forced them to join with me against their wishes. I understand getting a good maid is very challenging these days and hence i registered with your company. Please ask your field agents not to force maids like this and trouble clients as well.
I further request you to refund my 1000/- registration fees as well.

Bookmybai is looting consumer and its a big fraud company. Do not register and pay 1000. I had registered and paid 1000 on 1st dec with the commitment that by 3rd dec, they will provide the maid. Its been almost 10 days and there has not been a single respond from the company. No one is responding and there is no update. These company should be banned. They are running an open scam...

I booked a 10 hour nanny through them and they charged me 12k + taxes for the same (One month salary). After 20 days nanny started coming 30-40 mins late every day and started bunking work without informing. When i contacted the agency, the told me they will provide a replacement, but after continuous followup for 10 days they sent me one lady who did not understand english/hindi (Basic requirement that i had mentioned in the intial form). I had to take a break of 2 weeks from work because of them and finally they stopped answering my calls. Lidya, pujitha and one manoj are the people i was speaking to... After 2 weeks manoj told me we are not able to find a replacement, so we will issue a credit note and in next 6 months whenever we find a maid we will send u!!! Their top management ceo are unapproachable in such cases, which is usuually otherwise in case of startups. I wrote a long msg to their ceo in his fb page with no response till date. I would have made 100s of calls to their mumbai office but hey kept saying everyone is on leave!
Finally after 3 weeks, i had to call back the old nanny with new set of terms and condition (Wage increase by 1000, additional meal and 30 mins relaxation in the morning)!!! For the initial week, the nanny kept getting calls from bookmybai to leave my work. I mean such a*les these guys are. From then till date i have nor recieved a single call from them.

While managing and infant, house and my job, i dint have the bandwidth to take these people to court for the harassment they caused me... The least i can do is publish their review on these consumer forums! Please stay away from these fraudsters.

I hired a part time nanny from them and they promise to give up to 3 replacements/till six months. I have been following up with them since over a month with pathetic response from them. Firstly their staff is not at all interested in checking i[censored] got a replacement, when u get irritated they pass on clients to other staff. Interacted with mezabin and pooja - both equally useless and lithargic. Secondly, they line up seudo interactions where their candidates just don't turn up. What my refund immediately.
