I had paid 1000 rupees to bookmybai for a live-in nanny. they said its refundable if i don't use their service. i didn't use their service & now there's no option to get the refund or even someone to clarify.

They take the money for giving the maid, once the money is paid they have trained the maid to misbehave and leave the house. They won't send good replacement at all. No replacement provided and no refund of money done by them. Just pay them and become a victim of this fraud business. The owner of this business should be jailed for running a fraud company so openly.

Hi, I was supposed to get a refund of Rs.1000 which I had paid but didn't utilize their services. I have been following up with them for more than a month now but it seems they have started to ignore my messages.

Kindly help me in getting my refund.

I am writing with reference to the BOOKMYBAI office in Bangalore. Where I had listed my requirement for ELDERLY CARE on March 9th. An employee from the BOOKMYBAI Bangalore office called SANIYA ([protected]) called me asking to pay INR 1000/- to the company.

I did the payment via the HDFC netbanking on March 10th. And then on March 12th I sent a text SMS message saying that I do not want the maid. And I have asked for the INR 1000/- refund, as is the policy as per the site.

I would like to file an official complaint against the company for not providing the services AND ON TOP OF THAT...not refunding my INR 1000/-

I refer to my order number 622234 where to provide a maid from March1 onwards, the company charged me 21, 000 upfront payment in February. We were clear on the requirement. Since we are working professionals with a child at home, we needed someone with a clear background and we told them to take their time until they find a good candidate. Unfortunately, on 27th February, they sent a maid and they did not even share her papers with me despite reminders.

The maid came from a family of criminal background and within first hour she informed us that she never wanted to work and will run back to Mumbai. We sent her back the same day without availing any service and requested book my bai to refund the money as we had not taken any services from them and due to lax attitude do not wish to take future services as well. Unfortunately, they are refusing to do so and sending us more profiles which we clearly do not want.

My request is that my money is refunded as no service was availed and there is no intent to take any services in future.

They make false claims and take money by promising maid service. We didn’t receive and maid service..they just cheat people

I have paid 1000 rupees for membership but no response from bookmybai. My membership does not reflect on my account and inspite of writing to them multiple times there is no response. I want my money refunded immediately.

I employed a maid by the name of Sharadha( from Mandya) who was very arrogant and high head with no commitment and work ethics.
She worked with us for 4months and I tolerated all her nonsense considering the Pandamic as I have aged parents at home.
She just left suddenly lying to me that she will come back without any consideration for the trouble she is putting me into.
Nobody hire her as she is extremely low in her thinking. I have attached her picture.

A month ago, we signed up on this website, as we were looking for a maid at the time. We paid a refundable deposit of 1000rs to initiate the process. Since they couldn't provide any maid, we asked for a refund of that 1000rs. It's been almost a month and they still haven't refunded our money. We tried calling their customer service but they aren't picking up. We waited for 10 whole minutes but to no avail. Extremely disappointed and frustrated.

No basic ethics at all, when they say they will refund the amount, they should do it, but they do not refund the 1000 rs at all. They push it till the maximum days where we should get fed up and stop following, also the maids they bring in for interviews are not background verified by them. Bookmybai is playing with the life of people by bringing some random person from slums and streets.They can be thieves, we blindly let people in our house and then if anything happens, they won't take responsibility also.

I have paid nearly 23k to bookmybai for my nanny requirement. Initially few maida are provided but all were having issues. One was not reqdy to work she said she was forcefully send to our home. One was ready to work only for 1 month. 2 were suffering from.disease. one suffered with some skin disease and one was having cold( dont understand how you could even send a maid suffering from cold in covid time).Few profile even not matching to my requirements. After then no maid send to us and there was no follow-up done.

I had requested for a maid from bookmybai citing urgent requirement. I was provided with a candidate named parvati whom i finalised and paid rs 11800 on 10 aug 20. But she never joined the work and hence no contract was made between me and bookmybai. I was told that she may join after a week. Though i need maid urgently yet trusting word of your team i waited for a week taking leave from my office. After a week the candidate refused to come to work. I was suggested few other candidates but none of them fulfilled my requirement of speaking fluent hindi and ready to stay in my servant quarter.in case of one maid "saundarya" even the details of age and work experience given were incorrect. She was also not able to speak fluent english as was promised to me. I had mailed to the concerned manager mr rohan on 27 aug 20 asking for refund. However no refund or response was made from their end. They also denied receiving any such mail. So i subsequently sent the screenshots of the mail as well as a repeat mail to them on 28 sep 20.

Bookmybai asked me to pay Rs1000 to shortlist maids and after that did not either respond or revert to me with a solution. They are now not accepting calls or refunding my money

I have paid 1000 rs. Online to bookmybai for shortlisting japa maids but didn't got any response from them about any maid.
They claim they will call within an hour if we pay this token amount. Now i want the refund as per their claim that this money is refundable if maid is not booked.

But unfortunately i didn't found any place to request refund. I mailed as well to their complaints mail i'd but there also i didn't found anything.

I called their number as well which is available online but on calling they are saying their office is closed due to pandemic. If their office is closed how they are taking money from their website.

Please help me to process the refund.

I paid rs 1000 claimed as refundable amount to start maid service. I was told after payment that they are not supplying maids anymore and when i requested for refund the customer relationship manager is not responding or picking up my calls. I thought this is a professional company but they are cheating with false claims and non responsiveness post taking money

I am writing this after much consideration. After one year of service we discovered that she had stolen my mangalsutra worth 2 lakhs, my four gold bangles and some cash. When we started having her doubts, by then she had convinced my in laws so much that they believed in her. I am ashamed to say that for some time my husband thought she was innocent too as she is a single mother. There was so much tension in my house and at a point i thought of leaving my husband. This year in the month of jan, we found out that after fighting with her estrange husband, she tried to commit suicide and also gave tablets to her 5 year old daughter. A month later her mother contacted me and she also whatsapped the picture of my gold bangles saying she has pawned them. She caused so much emotional torture to me and my family. We treated her like family and i used to take her out for lunches and dinner whenever i wanted to go out with my kid. She has seen me breaking down and losing my peace of mind. I finally let her go after all this in the month of feb 2020 and quit my job to be with my son. She is also mentally not stable as she tends to leave her own daughter and disappear. I called her agent lydia[protected] and told her everything and she did not respond so warmly.

I have paid Rs.1000 for shortlisting of maids on the website, www.bookmybai.com. However, I am not being given access to shortlist maids. There is no help from the website www.bookmybai.com, and there is no response to my issue. The website is a cheat and is simply duping users of money without providing any services. Kindly help me resolve this issue and get refund of Rs.1000

I contacted this agency to hire the maid services and as per their policy i paid them 1000 rupees as an advance which they promised will be refunded if maid is not hired. They were not able to provide maid and at the time of the refund; they asked my bank details but the refund has not come even after 10 days. Now they are telling that contact their head office and no one picks up over there. Also they are stating making complain will not change anything.

We had booked a nanny service from bookmybai, they found a person and immediately next day the front office lady started asking for their "commission" of rs18000. 10 days after that the maid left citing some emergency. We emphathized with here situation and gave her rs5000 as emergency expense when she assured she will return. After that this nanny stopped answering our call. We contact bookmybai for help and that is the when we realize how utterly incompetent these ladies who work in bangalore office are. This lady name pooja is so so unprofessional that she does not answer calls after 6:00 citing strict work timings. If you are customer facing in ajob where you provide maids/nannies the least you can do is answer the call during such emergencies. Plus she has zero knowledge about the whereabout of the maids. We were constantly calling the maid and no response.in the meanwhile bookmybai lady pooja arranged for a replacement nanny who came to our place. Upon explaining all our requirements etc she noddedsaying she is completely fine and even the bookmybai agent who dropped here is witness to it. After few minute we started showing her the house and the room where baby sleeps. Within 5 minutes this lady (Name : kaveri) started demaning for separate room. We had clearly explained her that there is not separate room and she will be provided a private place in one of the rooms to sleep but she refused. She spned close to 10 minutes in the bedroom examining the room. We asked her to vacate immediately. To our utter dismay we found that we lost one of our gold chain that was kept in the bedroom where this lady kaveri visited when we werent there. This happened saturday and we realized about the gold chain on sunday. As usual miss pooja did not answer our calls on sunday. And on monday after 10:00 when we called she answered and we explained her the problem. She made a fake search for gold chain in kaveri's bag and as expected did not find anything. This is the level of intelligence the staff of bookmybai has. After that for next 6 days there is been no update about our original nanny because these incompetent ladies will not given any update. Worst part is they will refuse to refund the rs18000 we paid. This money is supposed to be for service, however looking at the above incident you can clearly make out that there is no service that is being provided here. It has been a mantally agonizing few days for our family due to bookmybai and its agent pooja. We are following with relevant authorities on this. And this service charge that we have paid is most likely gone as they are refusing to return the money.

The worst part about this organization is that there are no superiors above this lady. So you cannot even complain to anyone about her misconduct. Imagine the frustration you will have when you know that your money has been taken and zero service has been provided by incompetent staff like pooja.

I request bookmybai to show some courtesy to its ccustomer who pay so much money and at least assign decent, knowledgeable staff to work with customers. Not some incompetent and non customer friendly ppl like pooja.

Highly dissapointed by the service and loss of money.

This is a fraud company. My wife and i booked a service to get cook from this company. The cook didn't come for more than a week in the first month itself, each time - without bothering to inform us beforehand or after and when asked providing a different family emergency reason (I guess they are advised by bookmybai to say so). We asked for a replacement cook and its been more than 15 days but they haven't arranged the cook for us - breaching their contract. Nor do they bother to call you back and inform on the status. We asked for our money back but they say they dont have refund policy. This ideally means they just take your money in the pretext of providing you a service and after taking your money they dont bother to provide you either the service promised or refund your money. This is looting!
