I made online payment of rs.690/ (Including shipping charges) towards cost of book: services under the state by rama jois in favor of book shop of india ref no.[protected] gafhjvml4 at about 1-30 p. M today 30 jan.2019 & my sbi account (Manasagangothri, myosre branch) debited accordingly but i have not received confirmation or any intimation as to when the book would be shipped to me. This is very surprising. I tried to contact bookshop on india customer care to complain but in vain as there is no response. Please take up the matter/complaint with bookshop of india and ask them to confirm the payment and deliver the book to me immediately or to return the entire amount to me immediately.

There is no response at all from Book Shop of India or from the CONSUMER COMPLAINTS council till date to my repeated complaints made online. That means it is a fraud company and their website if fraudulent. There are so mANY COMPLAINTs from the duped customers from across the country posted on the website but the Bookshop of India co. appears to be still thriving as nobody seems to take cognizance of the complaints made online by cheated customers.
Will the Delhi Police and the Govt. of Delhi take cognizance of these complaints and book the culprits in the larger public interest.

    I have not received any communication from them. I have paid the amount in full including shipping charges.
    I have placed an order on 24th Dec 2018 for a set of Tarot cards.
    The price of the cards was Rs.200 and Rs.40 additionally for shipping within India.
    It was promised that the order would be completed within a weeks time. Its been more than 10 days that I don't see any response from them.
    I have paid them Rs.240 through CC avenue payment gateway. Bank Ref #: CCAFL1ECU935
    None of the numbers given on search engine is working. I have tried to contact them many times.
    I would like to get my full refund.

      I have order since 14/11/18. I have mail them many times, but haven't received any response from them. I have attached the order id screen shot with this complaint.

                I have not received by book and it's been 16 days. The book was (Tata mcgraw hill winning series course in physics for iit jee 2008) please give me reply mail and please send my book as fast as possible or else i am going to be complain to the cyber crime department.                   I ordered a book with order# boi71551 on 2/8/18. It has been more than ten days and i have been waiting patiently but i have not received my order yet. I need that book for an important exam in september and half the august is almost which leaves me with even less time for preparation.

                  I would like to know how much more time it would take for my order to reach me or if they cannot fulfill the order i would like a refund. The book cost me rs.553 which is not a small amount either. I have tried contancting them via email and their customer services but it was no help as there was no response from their side. Most of the people order these books for competitive exams and they should not play with their futures like this just for money.

                                    I ordered book on boi70983 15/4/2018 and paid money by online ccavenue.com way. After all in their terms they had mention (Mode : all the orders from delhi are sent through regd. Book post. Delivery : it usually takes approx. 2-3 working days to reach its destination within delhi)
                                    But till today 25/4/2018 they don't ship nor notify of any delay even after promised delivery date has passed. I sent email asking about order - no reply. I sent messages by website help again and again but no reply

                                      My order # is boi70975. Paid 5 days back but still didn't receive my ordered book "cracking the black belt exam" by sreedher kadambi. It has not come in due date, even their phone # does not work, they don't respond via email, nor communicates with the buyer about the tracks of the book. They are crooks, for sure..."delhi ka thag".

                                      It seems, flipkart & amazon is only reliable for books but other websites...: (

                                      I have sent an email 12th April enquiring the status ~ There is no response.

                                      The contact numbers provided on the Internet are not operational.

                                      Internet is full of complaints about Bookshop of India not delivering books and only collecting full payments in advance.

                                      So I'm sending this reminder after speaking to CCAVENUE Teams ~ An immediate follow-up is expected OR will Have to take Stringent Measures.

                                        I placed an order for a book on 6/4/2018 and paid by using CCAvenue in the website bookshopofindia.com. But till now i am unable to get the book. i mail them many times .but no reply.i made a phone to the number which i got by searching on the net. but there is no response. After paying money for the book i got confirmation mail from CCAvenue but there is no mail from bookshopofindia.com. I contacted CCAvenue customer care they suggested me to contact the customer care of Bookshopofindia.com but i am unable to contact that customercare as the phone number is not working. Please help me in this regard.

                                        I have ordered a book (Transaction ID : BOI70945) and Bank Ref #:CCAFD1AIV149

                                        I have sent an email 12th April enquiring the status ~ There is no response.

                                        The contact numbers provided on the Internet are not operational.

                                        Internet is full of complaints about Bookshop of India not delivering books and only collecting full payments in advance.

                                        So I'm sending this reminder after speaking to CCAVENUE Teams ~ An immediate follow-up is expected OR will Have to take Stringent Measures.
