I had booked my flight ticket through Air India Website in APR 2021.
Flight date was 3 JUN 2021.
That flight got cancelled due to COVID and I rescheduled it to next available date. then it got cancelled again due to COVID and I rescheduled it. Then it got cancelled again due to COVID and automatically got rescheduled.
My last flight date was 13-14 SEP 2021 which also got cancelled.
I called customer care on 4 SEP 2021 and waited for around an hour and asked if flight is cancelled I can not reschedule it anymore. she cancelled my ticket and gave me cancellation ID and told that I will get refund in 21 working days.
After 21 days, I did not get any refund and I was not able to check status of my ticket on website. I emailed customer care and they said I will have to wait for 20-25 business day after cancellation.
I sent email again on 15 OCT 2021 saying there is no refund yet there is no response to that email.
I sent email again on 9 NOV 2021. it responded that email is deactivated I need to fill Webform.
Filled web form on 11 NOV 2021 and they responded it is under process on 18 NOV 2021. No response on that ticket afterwards.
Filled webform again on 26 DEC 2021 and there was some glitch that I could not attach my ticket and they responded on 6 JAN 2022, they only provide support for ticket booked through airindia website and I need to contact agent. Well I had booked ticket myself from Air India website. and there is no response afterwards.
Filled webform on 8 JAN 2021 again there was glitch about uploading ticket and it created 5 tickets while trying to attach one pdf and they responded its under process on 13 JAN 2022. No response afterwards.
I tweeted about this on twitter on 8 JAN 2022 and they messaged the refund was send few months back and I need to fill webform to get more details on 8 JAN 2022. I told them I have already filled on 8 JAN 2022 but there was no response then I sent message again on 24 JAN 2022 and they say they need reference number for feed back. I have sent reference number but there is no response afterwards.
I had also contacted their office at airport in Surat. they just showed us the status that its refunded and said they can't help with anything.
I had contacted my credit card customer care to check about refund they said they need proof in email that it was refunded.
Air India responds that its refunded in Tweet / at their center but in Email they just say we are looking into it.
Now My credit card which I used to pay is expired and I do not have anything on my refund. it was 73000 INR which I paid in April and I do not have anything on it yet.

    Hi,

    This is to report the rude and unprofessional behaviour from the Air India ground staff at Goa airport. I was travelling from goa on[protected]flight no). I was at the boarding counter between 5:30am to 6am and it was a lady staff that assisted me. I greeted her good morning to which I didn’t get any response. I was having an excess baggage of 9kg to which I was ready to pay the charges. The lady staff asked me to pay 8820 for the extra baggage. However, I asked the staff if they can consider a lesser amount as my flight charge itself was only 8200 and it was difficult for me to afford that amount to which she responded “THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM”. I have never experienced such a rude behaviour from any of the airlines before. I asked her if I could speak to any one else for a better assistance. She called somone over the phone and I heard her speak in Hindi which meant ‘Early morning we have an annoying passenger’. I don’t understand how can you speak like that right Infront of the customer. I think it was the floor manager who came, I spoke to him and requested if he could do something about it. He was least interested to deal with the issue. I was over the phone asking for help to my husband if there is anything I could do from my side. He was very arrogant in speech and said that he can’t do anything about it. I had an emotional breakdown with their way of behaviour. I was crying and I put my debit card on to the counter with all my emotion, to which the floor manager started shouting saying ‘ Is that how you give the card, who do you think you are’ . I apologised to the lady staff as I didn’t mean in a wrong way. He then kept shouting asking me to go to an ATM and withdraw the amount. He refused to accept my card, with no genuine reason. It didn’t matter for him that I was crying and more importantly the customer who has already paid for the ticket. Such an experience from Air India as a company with such a legacy and now being taken over by one of the best ownership that gives supreme importance to customer service and satisfaction was shocking to me. The emotional stress and abuse that I faced in front of other passengers is unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope you revert to this complaint and do the needful.

      This was a wifi error and we put cancelled within 24 hrs .

      As per Airindia rule they said I will get refund full refund if cancelled in 24 hrs

        Hello dear sir/ma’am I’m a international student studying in Chicago from India. I had a ticket from patna to delhi and delhi to chicago. It was a connecting flight. My ticket was booked before 20 September 2021 and my flight was on jan 9th. One of your call center executive said i had a 3 bag allowance but at patna they didn’t allowed the 3rd bag even after talking to the call center executive. Please help me with it. I even have the call recording where i was said that my ticket have 3 bag allowance. Please see to it and give me a resolution for it. Thank you My contact no. Is[protected]

            Hi,

            Z99BF is my confirmation code. I called several times to air india regarding reschedule of my flight because they had made a major change in the flight time. As a result of the time change from air india i was not able to get my connection flight.

            All the agents except one, had no idea what they are suppose to do and transferred me to ticketing department, which i was assured will be connected within a few minutes. I have waited almost an hour every time for the ticketing department to answer my call, not only nobody answered my call, but also it got disconnected almost an hour every time. I called them again and wanted to talk to the representative’s supervisor or senior. They are not even connecting to the senior as well. At this point, they asked me to call expedia, through which i booked. I have already told them that i have contacted expedia for the same matter, and when expedia tried to contact airindia, the same thing- nobody answering the call, happened. Expedia personnel has made a note regarding this and sent a mail to airindia, which airindia representative was denying. Also one representative was reluctant to disclose her name or any detail, so that I won’t be able to make any complaints against her. That same person transferred my call to ticketing department without my consent, also even though i had told her that do not transfer my call as nobody is answering my call.

            Please resolve this as soon as possible.

              I have called customer care more than 15 times to reschdule my international airindia return tickets on 2/3 Jan 2022 to USA. Since it is urgent, I have to reschdule it for Jan 2/3
              . till now I am not getting proper response and call got disconnected immediately, several times. Since its urgent, let me know how do I reschdule my already booked free tickets. Any email id or contact number please

                I have called more than 15 times and waiting time more than 40 mins each time ( wasted mote than 2.5 hrs) and when customer care picked unable to resolve Flight reschedule issue. Call disconnected 3 times after long waiting times.

                I am compelled to book another flight and now I want to cancel my flight on 2 Dec 2022.
                Utmost poor customer care by you people.

                        When I booked my ticket, I had flight on 18 November at 9:45 PM from Frankfurt (Germany) -Delhi - Ahmedabad i had only 6 hours hold in Delhi so it was quit great for me, Therefore i booked my and my husband’s train ticket from Berlin to Frankfurt its was cost 108 euro, so I will easily reach airport at 3:00 PM, but around 10 days ago I got mail from Airindia that time my flight time is change from 12:05 PM to 12:45 PM but the worst part of that I did not get any mail from Airindia that my flight time is change from 9:45 PM to 12:05 PM.I was shocked because that little mistake of airlines is cost me 108 euro loss, Now I book other ticket that I get reached at 6:00 AM . Not only that but according to current Itinerary I will have 16 hours hold in Delhi which is very poor planning from Airindia . During this pandemic situation hold in airport for 16 hours it’s to dangerous for me. And now they are not capable to give me accommodation in airport . I have bad experience with Airindia, they just don’t care about customer and customer satisfaction.

                          1. i am Chaudhari Mukesh bhai. I booked flight from Srinagar to Dehradun in Air india on 18 September 2021. It was connected flight. After reaching Delhi, Air india declared that due to technical reason the further flight from delhi to Dehradun has been cancelled. The refund was initiated at the air india office at airport only by cancellation .

                          2. Its a more then two month and I have not received the refund money yet. I tried to call the customer care also. They received a call after half an hour and told sorry for inconvenience and it will be refunded soon. There are more then 15 days gone after that call also however the refund has not given.

                            Hi AirIndia,
                            This is regarding our AirIndia ticket refund which is pending for a while now. I have booked 4 tickets to India from Canada in the year 2020 to travel on Aug 15th 2020. Due to covid, we could not travel due to unavailability of our flight and we raised request for refund. Whenever I call, the customer care rep mention that they could only view the status (which they said it is under refund pending status) and they tell they are connecting me to the manager which is not happening as I am getting into an infinite loop call and no body picks up. Please provide me the refund at the earliest.

                              I booked this PNR Y0Y70 long back and then changed the dates and destination last week. The agent said i have to 104$ per pax and I paid $208 right then. He also acknowledged the same. He said he will send me the updated PNR shorly in 10 mts, nothing came. But when i verified in 5 mts online, I was able to see the new dates and new destination (ORD-HYD 10NOV- and MAA_ORD 29JAN).

                              Today i wanted to do seat assignments and enter other pax details, but the online portal could not retrieve my PNR.

                              I called the reservations, still holding the line after 3 hours...one agent said my PNR has been cancelled. How do it get cancelled? who cancelled? did any VIP intervention caused my PNR to be cancelled?

                              After sometime one tkting agent ansewered, i had to repeat the story, same answer and she transferred me to her supervisor, Mr ASHISH. He said he will reinitiate p[ut me on hold and then after 1 hour the line got got. GOD PLEAE HELP ME. MY MONEY GONE, MY PNR GONE, PEACE OF MIND GONE.

                                I booked round ticket from Toronto to Bangalore on 30th April and they cancelled it due to flight ban.. I haven't received my refund yet which they are supposed to return. Have been following up since 5 months and every time I call them they tell me the same story "I should receive it in 1-2 weeks" but I never do.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                                        I, SaiRamya Vidapanakal, and my 2 Kids [aged 4 Year and 2 Year] booked tickets with AirIndia booking reference number J863S from Chennai to London as below:
                                        11/08/2021:Chennai -- Mumbai [AI 672] - First Leg
                                        12/08/2021: Mumbai--London [AI 131] - Second Leg
                                        1. There was no issue with the first leg travel and reached Mumbai on time
                                        2. Second Leg, in Mumbai terminal 2 check-in counter the AirIndia Staff (Viraj), did not allowed us to on-board the flight rejecting us with reason “OVER STAYED - Stayed in India more than 2 Years”. I tried to explain him many times that I am under dependent VISA and there is no such immigration rule for my Dependent VISA, but he was so adamant to not listen and neither enquire properly.
                                        The lack of knowledge of the staff on VISA and especially not listening to us has caused a very painful situation o[censored]s being returned back from half way during our journey. It was pain/sorrow feeling not only for me but also to my Kid.
                                        Later we enquired with the Home Office, London and they confirmed us that she can enter UK with this VISA.
                                        This mistake/negligence of your airlinestaff has not only caused us monetary loss but also we have to go through emotional pain and created a stressful circumstances. I request you to kindly look into the matter and we need your attention on the below:
                                        • Compensation for unnecessary return ticket cost we incurred (Mumbai to Chennai)
                                        • New Ticket should be issued immediately on behalf of the ticket (Mumbai to London) on which we were not allowed to travel
                                        • Chennai to Mumbai ticket also need to be issued to get the connecting flight from Mumbai to London
                                        Appreciate you quick response as I need to get my family back immediately in next 5-7 days.

                                          I am attaching my ticket of 4th of April Delhi to Raipur .Ticket was cancelled by Air India & got receipt as acknowledgement for refund which I am attaching as well. Till now no refund has received I called on customer care 15 times but they are just enchanting the same sentence that refund has been initiated .I conveyed all the CSE that I did not received any refund till date so they forwarded my call to escalation team I talked to Sudhanshu(Escalation Team) he said to send 6 months bank statement and then talk to me again if you will not receive refund, I did that too. No response I got on email as well as now I am not able to contact to customer care...What rubbish service & false commitments is this...Why you give fake acknowledgement receipt when you don't have intention to give refund...Initiate refund asap else I would take any other big step to get back my hard earned money.

                                            I am writing this email because my mother's flight was cancelled and the refund was NOT processed for 18 months since flight cancellation due to the pandemic. Multiple attempts were made to contact air india and agent for refund.                                               I had booked a flight for 27th August. Yesterday I received an email saying that the flight had been cancelled. Since then, I have been trying to call their customer care to reschedule the flight.
                                              I have called more than 10 times and I have waited on call for more than 1 hour as well. But the ticketing team doesn't pick up the call to generate the ticket. The same thing happened every time I called.
                                              If the ticketing team is not able to handle calls, why don't they put this facility online?
                                              My money is stuck and I am not able to reschedule the flight now.
                                              I have pinged them on Facebook and on Twitter and still, they haven't responded.

                                                  It has been more than 7 months since I requested a cancellation refund of CAD 6006.6. I also paid a cancellation penalty of CAD 1216.60 on top of the reservation price to get a refund.                                                     which was deducted from my account and I have reference from my bank but it’s not reflecting in my PNR

                                                    I contacted several times to customer care sent many emails to airindia no response

                                                    I booked again excess piece in airport in airindia counter and took my laguage as I can’t travel with my laguage if I don’t pay they said.

                                                        I had booked International ticket from Hyderabad to JFK via Delhi and same for return. I had to cancel return journey (JFK - Hyd via delhi) as AirIndia had rescheduled flight from Hyderabad to Delhi and rescheduling caused wait time at delhi of 7hrs 30 minutes.
                                                        As per Airindia policy, I am supposed to full refund (Due to reschedule of flights by Airindia) for my remianing journey.
                                                        I had cancelled tickets on April 14th 2021. I have called 7+ times airindia customer and sent 6 emails to Airindia for refund. But, still my refund is not processed.
