Hi,
I am reporting this issue on behalf of my in-laws. It has been over 3.5 months since we have been denied the purchased service by air india. The details are:-
1. We purchased 2 tickets and paid additional money to reserve special seats for my in-laws. This is because they are old (Father - in - law = 72 yrs and mother-in-law = 67 yrs); and they are not ambulatory. Father - in-law had a major heart surgery.

2. On the day of travel, they were denied the special seats. No reasons were provided.in fact, they were lied that the seats being offered are the similar. Note that this is not the case. My in-laws repeatedly voiced their concern; which was ignored.
3. On jul 04, 2018 we called the customer care line at[protected], and on their direction sent an email to: call. [protected]@airindia.in, call. [protected]@airindia.in, [protected]@airindia.in. We got a reply from call. [protected]@airindia.in that the case is being investigated.
4. Not hearing back until 12/07/18 10:45 pm; we sent another email. We got the same reply.
5. Not hearing back until jul 23, 2018 at 9:35 am; we sent another email. This time no reply
6. So we followed up on jul 30. This time (On aug 6, 2018) they wanted our tickets and the documents!
7. On aug 7, we sent all the documents; and then it went all silent!
8.in the meantime we called the customer care line a few times. But to no avail!
9. Last time we emailed, there is not reply!
Overall, the entire process has been harassing. Air india does not care to resolve the issue and is blatantly in violation of their terms.
We have all the necessary documents starting from the air-ticket to all purchase documents. Please note that in addition to all our time air india wasted, they have not even returned our money for a service they did not provide.
We are pursuing one last effort to see if this gets resolved amicably. After that we will seek legal representation. Hope to get some help here.

ground staff at dubai airport showing their oversmartness for collecting the money without receipt
I was travelling from dxb to vtz on 16/08/2018. After checkin i did shopping in dubai duty free shopping took some candies and other things which it wieghts around 2 kgs. At the time of ticket checking before boarding at the gate number d10 the ground staff display one poster that including dutyfree shopping 8 kgs are allowed if any extra need to pay money with out mentioning the charges per kg.in my case they said initially two kgs extra you have to pay 500dhms which my hand luggage they include my laptop also. I asked them for two kgs 500 dhms? I was shocked. After that i asked them to give a reciept, they deny to give a reciept. For collecting the money around 5 people are working, i didnt understad why the 5 people for collecting the money and that to with out bill. No body is disclose thier identity. But all are in air india dress code.
If any this type of messages, along with the price tag per kg they should have to inform or keep a poster at the check in counter.
I request you to please need action/enquiry against this incident. Their behaving nature is so agressive and humiliating, please check the cc tv footages in the air port at the gate number d10.

flight booking payment collected but ticket not issued.

Anantha govardhan r, booked flight ticket for self online on 09th aug 2018 at 2242 hrs for travelling on 18th august by ai 515. Money collected through sbi credit card but ticket not issued. Sent several mails to air india e-commerce which deals with online issues but it is not responding over 4 days. Can you please help me get the booking go through? I need to travel on 18th it is a must. I am going through agony of non-response. Please help.

pre paid excess baggage - no confirmation
Dear sir,
After 5-10 emails and 5 calls on all air india numbers, i regret to inform that i have not resolved my problem. The customer care and emails are tossing me over each other.
I have a pre-paid excess baggage of 10 kg for which i paid 4200/- through the air india website and there is no receipt generated, nor has it updated in the login. You need to provide me a proof of payment so that when i reach the airport i can carry my luggage without second round of payment.
If you keep this unresolved, i will write to the highest authorities regarding your irresponsible behavior towards passengers.

flight delayed and duty manager who miss guided me

Had a flight from ahmedabad to delhi flight no - ai014 which got delayed for departure by 4 hours and i had a flight to catch from delhi to rome flight number az769 which was on 3:50am 2/6/2018 which i missed due to delay from ahmedabad. And at ahmedabad airport i had lot of argument with the airindia manager cause i knew i was gonna miss my flight to rome from delhi but the airport manager gave me a requesting letter to put me on next filght but delhi airindia staff did not help me out infact they gave me a delayed certificate and said you have to approach alitalia, when i approached alitalia they ingnored me and said flight has left and they cannot help you have to buy a new ticket or talk to air india, i again approached airindia they said they also cannot help buy a new ticket and complain about this duty manager who wrote you this request letter. I said fine when is the next flight i will buy a new ticket they checked and said the next available flight was on 3rd june 7:00pm well i cannot delay my trip for 2 days argued with them but they were so rude treated me as if i am an road side beggar, now i know why does people dont trevel with airindia and why is anyone not buying airindia the reason is pathetic and illiterate staff they dont know the meaning of customer service at all. Never travel air india again in life even if they offer me free ticket i wont.

I had to buy tickets of emirates for 40000 rupees and then i was able to reach my destination.
Today its more then 22 days and still i have not recieved any reply from air india nither any compensation from them

Not provided seat against confirm tickets from detroit usa to mumbai

Dear sir,
I had booked ticket for travelling by your airline from detroit to mumbai on 13/6/2017. The confirmation no : for the said ticket is hxoffg. Printout of the ticket is enclosed.
On date of travel, when i reached the airport, i could not get boarding card as the flight was overbooked and had to wait for two days. I had reported at the airport at 6.30 hrs on 13/6/2017. I was not provided even accommodation for the day of stay which occurred purely due to the fault of the airlines.
I got to board the flight on 15/6/2017.
Copy of my passport bearing immigration stamp is also enclosed.
I therefore request you to compensate me for this as per international airlines norms.

Complaint regarding non cooperation by Airlines

Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that I had a booking with Air India Flight from Pantnagar to Delhi on 14.12.2016 ( PNR : HS65R) and from Delhi to kolkata on 14.12.2016 by Indigo flight ( PNR : SIDFSE).
Air India firstly delayed and rescheduled the flight on 14.12.2016 without any prior intimation and information and then cancelled the flight at the very last moment due to which I had to travel on my own till Delhi airport by road on personal expenses.
On reaching Delhi airport I told the same and requested several times with Indigo Staff ( as advised by Air India staff ) and expected for some cooperation for my case as I almost reached on time, but neither they(Indigo) facilitated me to board the flight neither they ( Indigo) accommodated me on the next flight, again I had to book another new flight from Delhi to kolkata with Spicejet after paying a hefty amount.
Sir, it caused a serious inconvenience, mental agony and loss to me due to non cooperative behavior of Airlines, request you to kindly look into the issue so that I may get some relief and compensation.

Refused to issue boarding pass

I have booked a flight tkt. From New Delhi to Bangalore, flight no. AI 88, pnr no. Y8Z9B, departure date 06Nov2016, time-17:50 from new delhi international airport "T3", I reported at the main entry at 16.52, I saw board it showed closed check-in for AI-88.I ran to F lane Infront of gate 4, showed my ticket to airindia employee.They sent me to supervisor counter.they made me roam from one counter to other . After a lot of begging they checked my PNR at 17.10 and refused to give me boarding pass giving reason that we should report the desk before one hour of departure.As we all know we should report before 45mins I was on time they wasted my time and they didn't issue a boarding pass.After lot of query I came to know from manager that they sold the ticket to someone at 17.50 He assured us that he we will make enquiry after some time he refused to accept what he said and start blaming me that I reported late .We demanded the CCTV footage I was damn sure I reported well on time .I called customer care several times no one helped .
After that Mr bhupati helped us to get next day flight ticket for Rs2500 I had to pay extra without any reason.
I am not the only passenger who face this type of cheating. There are so many passengers who were misguided by these guys and missing the flight.
And, those who are working there tell me that it is a regular phenomena in the airport to cheat the passengers those who are not familiar with the system prevails in the airport'.
Therefore, you are requested to look into this matter urgently and take care of this type of cheating by these guys.
Hence it is not my fault and is happened due to the cheating behaviour of your employees. You are requested to refund my flight ticket charge urgently.

My wife ruchi prabhakar (Electronic ticket[protected] & my son master aarush prabhakar (E. Tkt[protected] were booked aboard ur captioned flight and further booked the connecting spicejet flight (Sg 106) from chennai to delhi and sg2417 from delhi to chandigarh scheduled to take off at 12.55 from chennai. Since your captioned flight was to land at 10.20 at chennai, we had enough time gap in view of a reasonable delay, if any, on your part say an hour or so.
But to my dismay, i received a sms from you at around 8.15 pm on 6th. Oct. I. E. Less than12 hours before the scheduled take off next morning about the delay in flight for over 4 hours thus eliminating all possibilities of catching the connecting flight from chennai. After having a telephonic talk to your customer care and cancelling our outgoing tickets with your airline, i had to cancel my spicejet booking scheduled to take off from chennai at 12.55 also resulting in pecuniary loss of rs.9000/-odd and booked a fresh ticket by indigo straight from port blair to delhi costing another rs.20000/- odd. All transactions put together has resulted in a net financial loss of rs.14000/-approx. To me just because of arbitrary/unwarranted/undue very long delay in change in take off ofyour aforesaid flight.
You will appreciate the loss of rs.14000/-is huge enough for a salaried person. Besides the whole episode caused tremendous mental agony to the family in changing all personal appointments/resheduling the trip.
I, therefore, urge upon you to compensate me for the loss at the erliest.

Stroller not received for travel between hyderabad to birmingham

I traveled from Hyderabad to Birmingham on Nov 02 through Delhi, with itinerary
My baby stroller(Grey color, 4 wheels) was valet checked in at Hyd and I was supposed to collect it Birmingham. However, it did not come to Birmingham.
Airindia didn't even tell us that we need to file a PIR before leaving the airport.
After many unsuccessful attempts at trying to check it all Airindia staff, I got into action myself and found that the stroller is in Delhi Airport at Terminal T3 Lost and Found. The lost property number is T376257.
I sincerely urge someone from Airindia to please look into this and send my stroller to Birmingham airport, so that I can collect it.
Note: I am in UK from 3 weeks. Its extremely chilly and I don't have a car. I have to carry a 3 year old toddler everywhere I go. Think about the inconvenience Airindia is causing.

Sir. I have booking in AI890 on 07/09/2015 from Imphal to Delhi and my money was deducted twice I.e. Rs 4581➕ 4581, one of my booking was confirmed and PNR no ZCGM9.both are deducting amount in the same name. Miss TOKPAM SOPHIA CHANU.please refund the amount at the earliest please.

Unresponsive and Unprofessional with handling of delayed baggage

Hi,
My name is Vikas Kumar, I was travelling from Seattle to Hyderabad and last connection was Airindia 952. My one checked-in baggage did not arrive with the same flight.
I got couple of numbers from Hyderabad airport but it took hours of work to get to speak to someone. I tried next day (June 1) several times even though phone rings no one picks up.
After numerous attempts when someone picked up on June 3rd they said they don't know where the baggage was. I was told they don't know if AI mishandled the luggage or the connecting flight before that. When I called Delta, my last flight they told me that my baggage did arrive Dubai with my flight as expected.
After couple of days I left Hyderabad and arrive Chhatisgarh. I called AirIndia again this time I was told that my baggage arrived on June 1st (with the next flight). I could have picked up baggage from Hyderabad but they did not contact me on time rather I was told from AirIndia staff that they haven't received my baggage on June 1st and 2nd.
I told them how long I will be in Chhattishgarh and if they can send the baggage in time. They said they would contact me back in few minutes regarding whether it is possible to get the baggage in time. But they did not contact me.
I arrived Ranchi on 7th June and had to leave on 8th for Tekar, Gaya. I got call from Raipur airport on 8th June that they have received my baggage. I spoke with them and they said it won't make Ranchi so soon so they will send it Patna rather. I got couple of number of Patna airport one of which was Non-Existent number and no one was picking up other one.
I called AirIndia tollfree number[protected] and received this number [protected] for Patna airport.
This is what I have tried so far at Patna airport.
On June 10
[protected] is the number I got from calling tollfree number[protected]. Here is what I have tried.
14:13 - [protected] phone rings but no body picks up.
14:23 - [protected] phone rings but no body picks up.
14:26 - [protected] phone rings but no body picks up.
14:28 - [protected] phone rings but no body picks up.
14:30 - [protected] phone rings but no body picks up.
15: 55 - [protected] phone rings but no body picks up.
15: 56 - [protected] Spoke to some one :
but they would not tell me their name. I asked 3-4 times then they disconnected my phone. They told me that they will not send my baggage to my house. I have to arrange someone to pick-up. When I request that AirIndia should arrange to send the baggage to my house they declined. When I asked their name they won't let me know.
16: 06 - [protected] Spoke for two minutes they would not give me their name first though after asking 4-5 times they said their name is "Ashok". And then they disconnected my call.
16:09 - [protected] phone rings no body picks up.
16:10 called tollfree number.
16:13 called tollfree number, spoke for 40 minutes. Manoj was the name of last person I spoke to. He told me that he would call me back and update me what can be done. But I did not receive any call.
June 11:
around 16:15: I called tollfree number spent around 20 minutes. Sangam was the name of last person I spoke to. She told me that she would call me within 20 minutes. But I did not receive any call.

apart from phone I tried using email. The missing baggage report they have mentioned email id: [protected]@gmail.com
I emailed to this address on June 4th but I did not receive any updates till now.

I also tried below mentioned website suggested by airindia website to get status of lost baggage. This website does not have much information regarding where it is right now, when the received at Raipur/Patna and what is next plan

One of the biggest trouble is that I am not getting any updates from AirIndia, it is very difficult to speak to any one and it is taking lot of time.
I got a vacation of about 20 days after 18 months and one of the main reason I visited India was attending one wedding in Chhattisgarh. I had some gift items for the same occasion. Now I have to leave from Tekari in 3-4 days for Hyderabad for return trip. Even I get the baggage now it does not serve me much purpose rather just carrying it back.

Delay in Services

Hi,
I had to travel from Delhio to Mumbai on AirIndia flight AI688 at 6:30 am in the morning of Oct 27 2014. I got a call in late night of Oct 26 2014 that my flight has been combined with AI657 and now start at 7:00 am.Once I reached the Airport, I was shocked to know that I was given a Stand By id during check in and there was confusion all around as we were told that our Flight has been cancelled. I tried to enquire with the people present at the checkin counters but to no avail. I asked about the managers of AI but they were not present and I along with other passengers had to suffer because of Lack of Information. I finally got to know after an hour that my flight at 7:00 am has been cancelled and now I will have to fly in 10:00 am flight which would mean that I will miss my Morning meetings at office in Pune and my whole day plan went for a toss. I want to complain regarding the unprofessional behavior of the Air India and its officials and lack of timely information and the time loss and the mental agaony that I went through during all this. Please help me with this and let me know what else needs to be done now as I want a fitting compensation for all this pain.

Intentional denial of Boarding Pass from Chennai to Mumabi

Dear Sir/Madam,
Please refer to our earlier mail dated 10/06/14 and 12/06/14 regarding unexpected taruma at the Chennai Airindia Counter on 08/06/14. For your kind information my ticket was directly purchased from the AIRINDIA BOOKING OFFICE ATY HYDERABAD ONLY, I REPEAT MY AIR INDIA FLIGHT TICKET WAS DIRECTLY PURCHASED AT THE AIRINDIA CITY BOOKING OFFICE AT HYDERABAD ONLY.
I was informed by the concerned officials to contact you only directly in this regard for resolution. Trust you would do the needful in this regard please.
I made advance reservation plan on Air India Flight No 343, from Chennai to Mumbaii on 08/06/14 to attend interview call and all necessary advance arrangements were done by me. My Air india tickets details are as under:

As per my schedule plan left for Chennai airport around 8.40 AM to board the above flight. In spite of traffic c india counter around 10.20 AM on 8.06.14 and was on way for check in at Airindia counter, but I was denied boarding card and was totally shocked and and perplexed at the rude and unruly behaviour of commercial Air India staff. The staff members were were adamant, most uncooperative and totall lack of passengers urgency/requirement. The commercial staff did not provide any contact numbers to contact the senior higher officials also nor allowed us to meet the Duty Officer at the airport for resolution.
I was totally rendered help us and heartbroken not knowing what to do?. I also requested endorsement for the next two AIR INDIA flights that was to follow the same day..Even that was not provided and had to run from pillar to post.
Apart from my mental tensions/anxiety commotion at the airport I also lost my cash amount Rs 4, 500 in addition to the penality and financial loss inflicted by AIR INDIA on me by depriving my travels plans/hotel reservations etc loosing my ticket amount with providing any endorsemnt also though I have reported one before at the airport.
I earnestly request the authorities concerned to kindly do the needfull in this regard and grant waiver and refund my full ticket amount and provided support to recover atleast part of my financial burden/loss which is to the extent of Rs 16, 800/- (totall loss) including air fare etc. for having booked by travel through Air India IC NO 343.
It is just not at all possible for the Air india/Airlines to solace my taruma/ mential strain problems/ and difficultes I have gone through from 08/06/14 Air India Chennai airport counter FOR no reasons or cause.
Trust the senior higher officals of Air India would realise all the suffering and difficultes that I have undergone for no reasons or cause but for the treatment meeted out to me at the AIRINDIA counter in Chennai by the commercial staff and in addition to the above I was also penalised by Air India for unknow fault/reasons.

In fact my experiences with Air India/Airlines we have received Godly help/support and down to earth services provided which I cannot ever forget at all.

Kindly accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you at chennai airport.
It may be in line to mention that the scheduled departure time of AI 343 is 1120 hours and in line with current guidelines, it is mandatory that all check-in counters are closed 45 minutes prior to the departure, so that all the pre-departure formalities are completed and strict instructions are in place for all conerend to comply with the same. The recommended and actual counter closing time is also reflected on the itinerary receipts.
We have had the matter investigated in detail with the staff/officers on that shift and we have been informed that the counters were open till 1030 hours and had you approached the counters in time, the staff would have definitely accepted you.
However, we have noted with deep concern your comments about the manner in which the staff and officers dealt with you. Since you have not indicated any specific name, we have renewed instructions to all staff to be more courteous in dealing with passengers.

Air India — non refund of money.
i ve booked an e ticket on 25 Feb 11, for a journey on 11 and 12 Mar 2011. the web itinerary reflected a price of 10292/- for my daughter and for adults Rs. 13,220/-. when the payment gate opened all tickets were charged Rs. 13,220/- since 26 Feb am trying to reach the customer service and get the refund. they initially asked me to complete the journey and then after completion kept saying by Monday which never came. This is to raise my major concern during my travel from Singapore to Chennai using AirIndia flight. Let me list down the issues.
1. The flight was delayed by almost one hour (26-Apr-2012), but there is no communication to passenger regarding the delay. May i know why? You do not have enough staff to make any announcements?
2. Flight was landed in Singapore and started with in 30 mins, we have started to board the flight. My concern on this, there is no one cleaned the flight including the toilets. Is this is the way you treat passengers. Do you think we all travelling in unreserved trains.?
3. Flight that we travelled was not an air india international flight. It was just a very old Indian airlines domestic flight. Even thought you guys merged together we have made a booking for Ait India only and not for Indian airlines. If I have made a booking on my name and if I send someone else eventhough my friend will you accept another passenger?
4. Both toilets in that flight were not at all in useable condition. Every passenger started to sought towards crews. One of the passenger took a photo to put it in the media. Is this is the way to treat passenger.?
5. Even after take-off of the flight, a/c was not running at all and after the passenger escalation it was switched on. Are you guys not having a/c facility also in the flight?
If you are running under loss and try to do all these kind of cost cutting, then why you guys are running the flight service internationally. I feel you guys not have the capability run the flight service domestically.

Indian Airlines, the worst airlines I met in my life. The Service is pathetic.
Complaint:
I booked an airline ticket through AirIndia website on 17th November, 2011. When I was booking a ticket, the amount shown was INR 3555. I used ICICI online to book a ticket. But during the transaction, they charged INR 3580. I asked ICICI bank manager for the explanation. I got a written confirmation that, the amount was charged from the billers end. Then I contacted Indian Airlines. They replied saying, ICICI charges Rs. 25/- as a transaction fee. Again I asked ICICI for the confirmation and they confirmed that they dont charge any transaction fee for the airline ticket booking.
I have a written reply mails from both the firms. But I am pretty sure that ICICI dont charge any transaction fee. So this is an issue with Indian Airlines.
They should be charged heavily for this. I am helpless now and would like to request to take this as a note and take some severe action on them.
Kindly take this seriously.

No refund for alternate travel arrangements made during ICPA strike.

I had booked onward & return tickets for my frnd Beena Vijayaraghavan on Yatra.com (AI / ETKT 098 [protected]) for a total of Rs 15,459/- to fly with Air India from Chennai to Singapore. She flew to Singapore on 23rd Apr 2011 (AI-358) & was due to return to Chennai on 30th Apr 2011 (AI-347). However, on the 30th of April all of Air India employees went on strike because of which she was asked to make alternate travel arrangements by the Air India officials in Singapore as they couldn’t arrange for a transfer to another flight. They promised her that all costs of alternate travel arrangements would be refunded along with other expenses that she would incur as a result of the strike including taxi fares & hotel accommodation.
So I booked a return flight for my frnd on Makemytrip.com from Singapore to Chennai via Colombo on Emirates/Jet Airways to leave on 1st May 2011. She had to fly from Singapore to Colombo (ETkt # 176 [protected]) on Emirates (EK-349) & from Colombo to Chennai (ETkt # 176 [protected]) on Jet Airways (9W-253) which was the cheapest & most viable option for her at that point of time considering the sudden demand for tickets to Chennai. This return ticket alone cost me Rs 16,812/-. She also had to make an extra taxi ride to the airport & back which cost her a total of S$ 35.40. When I approached AirIndia on several occasions trying to reach the right department with a refund request they said they cud only go by their rules which states that I will get a refund only for the unused flight ticket which is abt Rs 7000. So I am looking for a total refund of Rs. 16,812 + taxi fares of Singapore $ 35.40 + compensation for the physical & mental stress that was caused to my frnd & me and an apology letter from Mr J K Chowdury (APM) for Traffic Services, Mumbai, AirIndia.
I have attached 2 docs: The refund request letter sent to AirIndia & The reply received from them.
I request you to help me get justice.

DELAYED BAGGAGE

I regreat to state the undermentioned for your kind consideration. I travelled from Allahabad airport to New Delhi via AI 9812 and then to Mumbai via AI 102 on 15 Aug 11 WITH 01 checked baggage. However when i reached Mumbai i was shocked to ascertain that my checked in baggage tag IC010279 had not reached Mumbai. I reported the matter to baggage claim office and they issued me a PROPERTY IRREGULARITY REPORT and gave me a false hope that my baggage will reach my home address ASAP as i had to attend my office and a conference and my uniform was in the baggage. Due to this i was compelled to postpone my onward journey to my duty station.
I am a serving naval officer and it is essential forme to attend office in uniform and cant be absent on duty. This unprofessional approach by the esteemed national airlines has caused me gross inconvineince and thus i belive that i should be compensated for this delay mental agony suffered.

AIR INDIA ticket refund not received even after a month of cancellation date.

Even after the ticket cancellation is done, confirmation from the AIR INDIA officials for the refund is done...STILL the REFUND IS NOT PROCESSED.
I had registered a complaint a few weeks ago but still the money is refunded i had a write another complaint again here.
Please see the confirmation from the AIR-INDIA officials for the refund confirmation, but the money is still not credited to the said account.

I had purchased a air ticket AI-342 for 8th May 2011. For the very known reason that the Air India was having a pilot strike during those days, I was forced to cancel the ticket & book some other airlines.
I did by AirIndia ticket cancellation on 6th May 2011 on phone & the customer care asked me to drop a mail to "[protected]@airindia.in" which will process your refund.
But not a single reply from the Air India official has ever received even after constantly mailing them for the refund status.

1) Booking has done for 04/06/2019 & 10/06/2019 through Easy my trip vide booking ID No. EMT 57034872 with PNR nos. HODLR, HODLC, HODLR, HODLC in f/o Smt Rumi (Datta) Sarkar & Minisha Sarkar fo to and fro journey between Kolkata & Guwahati.
2) Inadvertently done another booking for 04/06/19 & 10/06/19 through Air india web site vide Web reference: AI BE 47411236/ PNR -JSRF5 in f/o Smt Rumi ( Datta) Sarkar & Minisha Sarkar for to & fro Journey between Kolkata.
In both cases, flights, Passengers, Date & timing of Flights are same but only difference is booking agency. One has done from official web site of Air India and other has done from Easy my trip.
BOTH TICKETS BOOKED FROM DIFFERENT AGENCIES ARE ATTACHED HEREWITH FOR READY REFERENCE.
In view of the above, you are requested to take necessary action towards cancellation of one booking for two passengers for the dates 04/06/19 & 10/06/19 ( ie direct booking from Air India site) & retain the other one and refund the full value of two tickets for to & fro journey between Kolkata & Guwahati .

In both cases, flights, Passengers, Date & timing of Flights are same but only difference is booking agency. One has done from official web site of Air India and other has done from Easy my trip.
BOTH TICKETS BOOKED FROM DIFFERENT AGENCIES ARE ATTACHED HEREWITH FOR READY REFERENCE.
In view of the above, you are requested to take necessary action towards cancellation of one booking for two passengers for the dates 04/06/19 & 10/06/19 ( ie direct booking from Air India site) & retain the other one and refund the full value of two tickets for to & fro journey between Kolkata & Guwahati .

Non refund of fare of cancelled ticket
I have lodged a complaints for non refund of fare but no reply or action have been done.Once again i am sending the details hope some action will be done.I had booked a tkt for Guwahati to Kolkata for 23rd April 2011 by AI730 using my SBI debit card, e Tkt no.[protected].I got this tkt cancelled at Guwahati airprt at Airindia counter on 20 th April 2011. I had also forwarded the mail to the airindia.nic.in & [protected]@airindia.com.I have still not received the refund.Also all my mails are not being accepted & call centers are also not attending even the staff at Ranchi airport are clueless .It seems a big harrassment.Kindly refund the fare at the earliest.

My elder brother,working in Anthropological Survey of India, and his family ,consists of wife and a son, on transfer from Bhopal to Mysore travelled by Air India /Indian Airlines flight A1634 from Bhopal to Mumbai flight and arrived at about 2200 hrs on 12 Mar 11.Next day morning , on 13 Mar 11 ,they boarded A1603 flight from Mumbai to Bangalore. At Mumbai Domestic airport, due to delay in getting ,two small suitcases of brown colour and one wheel bag was not alloed to take as cabin luggae and submitted to Air India luggage section executive , who promised to send the same by next available flight.
Even after over amonth ,the items were not received. Even , airlines not bothered to give reply to his letter.
Request initiate suitable action.

overcharge of excess baggages
I had booked two Air India online tickets through yatra.com on 17 June 2010. (Yatra reference number-[protected]). Flight Itinerary - Airline- IC-Indian ; Dept- Kolkatta ; Arrival - Aizawl ; Departure date- 08 July 2010 ; Arrival- 08 July 2010 ; Dept time- 7:45 AM ; Arrival Time - 9:05:00 AM.; Class of service- T ; Airline PNR - 37CU9N ; IATA No[protected].
I print-out the tickets after receiving an email from them, I read all the terms and conditions thoroughly and never saw a slight mention about (1) the allowed amount weight of a passenger's baggage.(2) the quality, size (big or small) of the aircraft. (3) The differences between the small and big aircraft concerning the amount of weight of a passenger's luggage. eg- Big aircraft- 25 kgs & Small aircraft - 15 kgs apprx.
My serious complaint about overcharging is that the airlines guys in kolkatta charge us Rs, 1950 for excessing by 20 kgs. When I enquire about it, they told me that 15 kgs is the allowed weight for one passenger in a small plane ! I understand this. But, they should have inform us at the first hand or mention in the tickets' terms and condition. We had no idea what kind of aircraft they are going scheduled. Usually, 25 kgs is the normal allowed weight in every airlines in India. I had been flying with Indigo, Kingfisher, jetlite etc...but never been charge for excess before, because I'd always adjust & make sure my bags are on a correct weight.
It may be only a few thousands for many peoples, but I don,t care ! My pregnant wife and had to suffered high tension and shock of how the airlines were dealing with us. I told them that we are packing
our luggage thinking that 25 kgs is the allowed weight for 1 passenger!! Still we may excess about 5 kgs which we are willing to pay right away. But, this is the cheapest way to trick the passengers for filling up their pockets!!!! They should inform us about this kind of information before!! But they won't !! WHY!!!??? Because ...they want to corner their passenger and left them with no choice but to pay in the last minute!!! Cheap Corruption!! SHAMEFUL!!!
I hope and pray this unfortunate experience will bring some positive change to Air India.

Dear Sirs,
I travelled/started on 3rd Feruary from Ahmedabad (India) by Air India to Marseille(France) by Ahmedabad- Frankfurt (Air India Flt.AI 191)-Marseille (Lufthansa- Flt. LH 4350) . My checked in Baggage was not handled properly at Frankfurt by AI and hence as on today I have not got my Baggage at Marseille.The tag on the bag is having number tag no. is AI600183.My e-ticket number is ETKT098 [protected], my India pass port number is E8845948. I used my citybank credit card for booking AirIndia flight to Chandigarh on 24th Feb 2009. But i couldnot book the ticket and twice it got failed. But the amount of Rs 8733 got debited from my account twice. I received a mail from Airindia helpdesk that the amount will be refunded. But only once the amount got credited to my account. I called Airindia office many times but no one picked up the phone.I have sent many mails to Air India help desk in this regard but i have not received any response from them
