I was traveling on Train Number/Name: 12001 / New Delhi SHATABDI Express on 16th June 2019 my PNR Number was [protected] From: GWALIOR To: NEW DELHI. I was on coach C 8 and seat number 5. We were provided with Soup along with Bread sticks and butter. poor quality of food

I am a regular passenger of satabdi express starting from kolkata to bhubaneswar 12277 and 12278 for it's quality service and food. But it is very unfortunate that the quality of food deteriorated drastically, even the chicken in curry was not boiled properly, i suffered with discentrary and took medicine for that. Please make a selection / provision during booking so that i can cancel the food and deduct the amount from tickets fare. Very...

I was travelling from chandigarh to new delhi in kalka shatabdi with pnr no.- [protected] dated -26/05/2018.
I have served bread with cutlet, the bread was chilled and the cutlet was not hot. The food served was not like as anyone can eat. For the same i have complaint to the supervisor and i asked him for the complaint book, i reached delhi from chandigarh but didn't get the complaint book.
Hope some action will take place in order to improve the quality of food.

    I was returning from Puri on 18th and they had servef rotten omelettes and untoasted breads. The omelette had a very very foul smell and black marks on it and downy even taste like an egg. The soup was made from some unclean water and just after breakfast they started having food poisoning in the train itself. My parents vomited in the train for maybe 8-9 times and my father was almost on the verge of being hospitalized. They are still not totally fit. I remember I travelled at Duranto from the same place to same destination and it was the best food I ever had in a train. Today, there is a news that 50+ passengers are hospitalized after having Shatabdi food. If you cannot serve good and clean food, do not play with health. Tell us and we will carry our own meals. Or else, buck up and rectify yourselves.

      I travelled in lucknow shatabdi on 24th jan18 and i asked to catering staff mr. V. K gupta can i get another omellete then he denied to have another. But suddenly served the same to other passengers multiple times then i asked why u are serving to others then he said it was unavailable. And after that i realised him to treat equally to all passengers without any partiality or any extra fare.
      And i am requesting to irctc not to recruit such kind of catering servents.. And take action for future references..

        I was travelling via 12011 train no. Shatabdi express. The juice pack was served with seperate straw. The straw was open without any wrapper. It was contaminated. May spread diseases. Pl provide sealed wrapped straw for juice tetrapack. The options are not there with passengers except to drink juice with the contaminated straw in the train. We give money for food but get contaminated items. Pl do the needful for hygiene in food.
        Here I m travelling from Ghy to Dbr by Shatabdi Express and what an awful lunch I m served with. Quality of rice n dal s just too poor n roti isn't worth mentioning. And lunch comprised of only this... no additional items. It's much poor thn what we get in other trains.

          Hello, myself kabita and i am travelling from guwahati to dibrugarh by satabdi express 12085, seat no c5, 54. But at the time of lunch i found hair on roti and chicken... So how can i afford this type of quality food on satabdi express. Here i attached some pic of my lunch. Check it. My pnr no is-[protected]. We already paid high for including food but so why railway serve this type o[censored]nhygienic food???

            I am still travelling in the train 12015 Ajmer shatabdi, coach C-13 seat no. 38 and 39 and a staff member H.S Kushwaha of this train, precisely at 7:15 am, misbehaved, by refusing to serve tea to me as I was 'sleeping on the seat' for which I had paid as according to him since I was sleeping so I won't be served now even if I have asked, even though the cost of the food and everything has been paid for in my ticket itself and hence I do not deserve tea because I was sleeping on my own seat at 7:15 in the morning and according to shatabdi express, when you ask for it, you're supposed to get something for which you have already paid. On confronting that man he changed the facts saying that the water is too cold for the tea and ' if you keep on sleeping then I won't serve I have said it befor'. If I have paid for something, it is their duty to keep it in front of me .or if that is not possible at least they should be courteous enough to talk politely and behave like he should have .i had such high expectations from this train but sadly I'm never going travel in it again if they keep having staff like this .

            Or if that is not possible at least they should be courteous enough to talk politely and behave like he should have. Atleast whatever he said he could've said it politely as I had gone up to him to ask for it but then again this guy had the guts to say stuff what I've mentioned in my earlier post

                On 13.07.2009 I was travelling with my son from Jhansi to Agra Cantt. by Shatabdi Express in CC(Seat no. 63 &64 in coach C8).My PNR No. is [protected].
                To my utter surprise, no dinner (meal) was provided to us during our journey.All the passengers travelling from Jhansi to Agra in the coach (roughly 20 in numbers) were denied of the services.
                In this connection, I would like to hear from the responsible officer the following:-
                1.If there is no meal service in between, why excess fare was recovered, which should be refunded at once.
                2.If there is meal service in between, why such lapses and also the action taken against the erring officers.
