It's been 1 month since the promised delivery date from decathlon, i haven't yet received my order. Decathlon stopped responding to my emails. I have called them several times, but they'll always say we'll check and get back, and then never get back. I have even paid 1200 extra for delivery. I can't cancel the order from their app as well and even if i do am doubting the complete refund from the company as i have lost trust on decathlon. They're just cheating customers, they take our money and then never deliver the product.

I had ordered for three items namely one arm camping chair and one basic chair and an yoga mat from the online shopping site, decathlon.in on 19.7.2020. I had recieved a parcel on 29.7.2020 which contained the yoga mat, the chairs were not inside the pack. I called up the delivery guy of delhivery courier services immediately to enquire about the remaining items but recieved no help. Later i had send an email to the customer care center of decathlon as well as delhivery logistics but till today they have not delivered the remaining items nor they have intimated a probable date for delivering the product.

I placed my order on 10th july 2020 and the expect delivery date was 15th july 2020.Its been two weeks now and there is no update regarding my order.Whenever i write a mail all that I get in response is to wait and expect delivery within 24- 48 hours.Please take some action so that i can receive my order as soon as possible.My order number is [protected]

We were suppose to expect the delivery of table Tennis Table on 3rd Jul'20, which was delayed from your end to 9th Jul'20. But as on date there is no receipt of our material, and neither any information regarding the same.
While tracking the details online wide Delihevery Courier Receipt No.[protected], where they have mentioned as asked to reshudle on 8.07.2020, where as there is no communication as such from our end.
If you are unable to deliver us the said requirement kindly inform us accordingly we shall take further course of action.

Informed the same to decathlon customer care on 30 and 31 may consecutively, but no action till now.

Hello i had placed an order on 16th march 2020, i was suppose to receive it on 18th march 2020. I received a message from decathlon that the order has been delivered on 17th march 2020, when i did not receive my order at all.
I raised a complaint via mail and via call on the same day... The customer care executive who received my call suggest me to check my package with my neighbor or security guard... How ingenious of her. I really appreciated her level of commitment in solving my problem.
I told her i never received a call from the delivery boy who usually in other online delivery cases call before hand... And make sure they make the customer know where they have left the order... Be it will my neighbor or the security guard.
The customer care executive seemed to be amateur in handling a customer query.
I called the customer care again on the 18th march 2020 with the same lame suggestion.
Today is 20th march 2020... But still no sign of my order.
I highly request decathlon to look into the matter. My order went missing before it reached me... And it is showing delivered to add to my pain.

I purchased arpenaz 100 lady pink hiking sandals from decathlon store at r-city mall ghatkopar in july-2019 for which the computer generated bill print which i had has faded out and at the time of purchase i was told that the sandal has two years warranty, but unfortunately the sandals got torned within three month of purchase from left side.in october 2019 i visited decathlon store they replaced and i have received a new same sandals which also torned within two months of purchase. I have been hardly using the sandals for normal hiking purpose not on regular basis but the sides of sandals has started tearing apart. I visited decathlon r-city mall ghatkopar twice but the representative says that replacement will not be provided for more than one time, even though the warranty is in place and as stated earlier, will be replaced. I am a regular customer of decathlon and purchased so much products from the store with full satisfaction, but this time i am totally unsatisfied from this pair of sandals and also the behaviour of decathlon r-city mall ghatkopar employees. Your early revert for this query is anitcipated otherwise i will take help of consumer forum.

I had placed an order on 30th october, 2019 - with order number 2520064 - on their website.

I ordered a pair of trousers from their website - 120 regular-fit pilates & gentle gym bottoms: black and grey with a size xl for my father. The description on the website for xl says 90-100 cms; but the trousers i received today were of size 105-111 cms for the same xl size. I have uploaded pictures of this discrepancy to this complaint.

This is the second time that this has happened, and after having written to them via email for the previous order, they could not solve the problem for the earlier issue; it was only after numerous phone calls that i was told which size would fit properly.

But their initial problem with incorrect and misleading product information on their website continues and this today i received a bigger size of the trousers i had ordered, which do not fit my dad. It has become time consuming to make phone calls and write emails for each and every order i place with them because i have to call them and place two orders for every product nowadays.

I hope they update their website and stop misleading people.

I bought a triban 500m road bike last year. It was fitted with b'twin 700 25c tyres. Within a month both tyres got puncture and i replaced with new tubes. After six months o[censored]se, i found cracks on both sides of the tyres. I am riding more than 20 kms everyday and more than 60 kms on sundays. Afraid of the tyres getting flat, i changed the tyres. Even that didn't saved me form getting punctures. So far i had changed 6 tyres form the date of purchase. Now i am planning to change the tyres and tubes from other brands. I request you to kindly improve your tyre and tube quality or don't fit them to the road bikes. They are reliable for long distance riding.

I recently ordered arpenaz tent from decathlon mobile app with order id [protected] and after few days wait the app shows that the product has been delivered but i never received it at all. I even asked their customer service representative but they provided me with the consignment number and asked me to visit my post office.. I did the same but it appears the consignment number ek[protected]in is invalid...

I have odered tp 100 tennis wristband - black - 99 : black. Order reference 2026543 - placed on 18/05/2019, but on 24/05/2019 the shipment statment is showing deliverd, but i have yet to recieved the shipment, so please rectify asap.

Today i made purchases from decathlon for approx rs 16, 000/- and at the time of checkout, cashier charged me rs 15/- for the plastic carry bag which had decathlon written on it.
Why?

Even after i objected to cashier, he snubbed us away and said that it will be charged.

Also they write on bill it as biodegradable, whereas it is plastic look & feel bag.

I ordered hiking shoes from decathlon 6months before i used it once and checked waterproofing but it failed water went inside of shoes within seconds and i complaint they refused now i complaint again after some months because the stitches of the shoes went off near the toe i sent complaint via email first they didn't reply me for 5, 6 days i tried to call them but they told me that we will reply soon i mail more emails but they reply after a week almost and they told me that "the shoes are not covered under warranty as there is no manufacturing defect noticed." and its much disappointing because my shoes stitches have went off by itself and they are saying "there is no manufacturing defect noticed" i sent them more than 10 photos which clearly shows that the stitches have went off they are denying replacement without reason and as per decathlons 2years warranty policy my shoes covers warranty

They clearly says that 2years warranty on quality of the product, stitching as per this my shoes covers warranty they are doing unfair trade practice and mentally harassing customers by doing this

I purchased an elliptical trainer, which i didnt use because of surgery and raised a request for a return, the rep called after a week that they will contact and pick it up.

Till now no reply from them, i have emailed several times, no reply, i have tried contacting on the phone, no show up, i have tried with the chat, no result.

My advise to everyone dont buy anything from this fraud company, they only show class in the store, after purchase they are total fraud.

I returned flx cricket track paint at decathlon dehradun two months ago. Sale's person told me that amount would adjust on your next purchase. Today i was on cash ccounter for my next purchase and asked cashier to adjust that amount but he refused and reply politely that it is only possible within 24 hours.
Is this fun.

I ordered a pair of shoe from decathlon they said it'll be delivered within 8 day. I didn't get my order after the 8th day then they said it'll be delivered within 2 day. After 2 days i again called them then they told me it'll be delivered within some days again.
Finally they made me to cancel the order as whenever i was calling those gys where telling give us some time or cancel the order.

I purchased a cycle from this store which is having manufacturing defectwhich i noticed but they repaired it and the store assured me of change if the problem persists. The cycle start giving bubbling after two months from front tyre joint which i tightened in the same way they get it done at the time of selling but it again started bubbling after one month then i visited the store and told them the whole issue but they ignored it and repaired it without any permanent solution and again promise me that it will not happen again but now it is happening after every 5 to 7 dayswhen i visited the store they refused it and repaired it minorly but the defect reoccur after 5 to 7 days. Till now i visited thrice the store but nothing positive happen and i m suffering because every time it is very tough to transport the cycle to store which is far from my residence and the cycle is of my son who is 7 years old

I have been a regular customer of decathlon mangalore since the opening of the showroom in bharath mall, mangalore. I had purchased a dark hero kids bicycle along with side supports and a fluorescent horn. But the horn got broken on the very next day. And when i visited the showroom today. They rejected the warranty. And told us to fix it with a cellophane tape or with rubber band. Is this not a shameful situations for a regular customer like me. I should not have visited decathlon for purchasing such a cheap quality product.
Its heart breaking once i realised the quality and after purchase service of decathlon is not trust worthy.
I am anticipating the replacement of the product as soon as possible.

I have purchased one shoe and now i am getting pain while walking. I went to the store and told the same. They told me that this is meant for other purpose and if you will wear this will get pain. I can not walk 100 meters with the shoe.
I have not satisfied with decathlon shoe.

Please don't buy spikeless 500 women's golf shoes. This is not good.

We had to been to Decathelon store Salt Lake, West Bengal, India on 26.02.2019 at 6 pm and searching for a few products which we couldn't find, nowhere could we find anyone to help us for 1 and half hours.We were trying to reach a Queche bag on the top shelf which we couldn't reach but had no one to help us, when we dragged a stool and tried to climb up and reach it then people came running around. They asked as the reason and we said we couldn't find anyone for a couple of hours, then they audaciously told us that they were near the counter. When asked whether all are supposed to be there they started speaking rudely.
My query is whether an international chain employs people who behave in such a manner with the customers?
Secondly when we were going out a products product which was priced INR 299 was charged 699, when asked for clarification two persons manning the counter said 699 was the price and we asked it to be taken back, but then a third person came and clarified she had updated the system and the sell price was actually 299.

Bought shoe pair decathlon men's hiking shoes nh100 mid - black reference:8492095 on 12 jan 2019 for rs. 1399.

Next day i used same for treking level (Easy).
During trek shoe grip has damaged and i was not comfortable during trek.

I would recommend that, kindly replace the same or suggest good model.
This wasn't expected in one day use of this quality shoe.
Rather i hereby attaching snap of invoice of payment and shoe condition before and after the use.

Hardly 6 months have passed i purchased men's hiking shoes mh100 waterproof - grey/yellow, now its sole is getting worn out. I went to the store from where i purchased it (Decathlon vytilla) but they refused to replace it (The shoe has 2 year warranty). They told me that i should have used it only once or twice in a month. This shoes are not meant for daily walk and that the glue used for this product is not so good compared to other products and all that. All this they didn't told while selling nor even warning written on this product.

My concern is the exact replica of what has been posted by undumati on 8th april 2018.

In the whitefield outlet at bangalore i was insisted to provide my email and mobile number whithout which i could not take the products. I had spent considerable time to select the products that fits my daughter. This is really rediculous and one can't be forced to give their personal information. Sale should be strictly against money and nothing else.

If it was a european country, one could even sue the company for such a thing. It is utterly rediculous.

On 9th may 2018, i had placed an online order for 4 items in decathlon. After 6 tries, my bank account was deducted of 1195 rs, but i never got any confirmation msg from decathlon. After subsequent calls to their customer care, i was told i would be refunded of my money.
On 29th may 9.09 am i got an email from decathlon to review the purchased items which i have not received until now.
They are not refunding my money nor the items.

This happened on 13th may 2018. I had purchased a track pant worth rs1000 and while purchasing i was told that they accept the exchange/return in 30 days. Due to size problem, i went to exchange it the very next day, but even though i went the very next day, they rejected telling that it is used. This is the worst experience i had and i will never be going to buy anything from this place.

When i went to the check out counter, i was told that i could not make a purchase unless i gave them either my phone number or e-mail address.

Nowhere in the shop was there any notice to this effect. I had taken both my children to the shop and they had tried on the shorts and slippers that we wanted to purchase. On the other hand, the shop manager (Decathlon store on omr near apollo hospital, chennai) mr prasad told me that they need the information in case they want to recall any defective goods. When i offered my entire postal address, they rejected it.

I believe this constitutes a violation of my privacy and i am sure this information (In case i had given it) would have been used to track me/other purchases/offers for other goods.

After many years of shopping in decathalon in several countries, I have decided never again. Twice now (Ansal Plaza store and Zirakpur) I have tried to make a purchase which has been refused as I don’t wish to share my contact details!

How can they justify making it mandatory to share your contact number to buy something as basic as a water bottle?

How is it legal to deny selling a water bottle to someone who does not have a phone? Or has a phone and respects their privacy and does not want to share their number.
Such invasion of privacy by Decathalon is totally ridiculous and should not be allowed.

I bought a hiking shoe from decathlon vyttila store and they were offering 2 years warranty. But before one year o[censored]se the shoe is losing it's sole. When i got this to the very shop i bought it, the so called customer service guy told me that the shoe is meant for hiking only and not for casual purpose and that's the reason it's sole is coming out. How can a person who is in his good sense reply like that? How can a shoe which is meant for hiking cannot be used for effortless walking on plane surfaces? He was such an embarrassment, so i asked for the higher authority. But this guy was # than the former one. He told me that i have overused the shoes. How the hell i overused it if i wore the damned shoe only to 2 hikes, 4 parties and while in college lecture halls. Moreover most of the time i was using a vehicle for conveyance.
I told him how i used the shoes and this lunatic was still sticking to his # explanation.
We are no longer interested in your warranty or your product... Atleast you should get rid of mentally # employees like this who doesn't have a common sense and can't even explain why the warranty is being denied. It's really embarrassing

Hi there, i'm haris ansari, a resident of hal colony indira nagar, today i visited decathlon store, lucknow branch, after shopping i asked for table tennis facility

I found it very shocking that the free facility of table tennis has been closed because of the theft issues, people used to play there and steal table tennis equipment. I think this is not a solution, they cannot close it forever, one day they have to open it

Only table tennis table should be provided for table tennis facility, nothing else. With a strong security check, none of the theft issues will take place because nothing will be left to steal

A person, who want to play table tennis will bring his/her own table tennis bat and ball which will be verified at the entrance, this is the simplest way to avoid theft issues
