Dear Sir, I am a owner of 1-19-83/7, Chandrapuri colony. There is a problem for issuing electricity bills by the person who issues bills. I have a panel board with 6 meters. In the month of June, he had issued 2 bills only. Those bills are charged excess as the meters were issued in February but there were fixed only in May month after we got permission of panel board. However this month, July he had issued a bill (old meter) showing the arrears of May, June and July though the amount for the months of May and June are paid. It was brought to the notice of AE, Sainikpuri but he wanted me to go over to his office. I work at Nalgonda and I have to apply leave to see him. The persons are not well versed with the system. Though he is visiting, he is not issuing all the bills at a time and then he is carrying forward and billing under "House Locked" I request you to kindly look into it and do the needful. warm regards, Dr.Suguna, MD, MPH

    Every month we get an amount of 500 to 600 Rs and all of a sudden this month i got 3647 Rs. I really doesn't know why this huge amount has come. Really we would like to know why the bill has come so much.

      This is pertaining to Electricity bill for Consumer No[protected]Billing unit 4700:CHAKAN S/DN.). We have been receiving faulty electric bills for above mentioned connection. Meter is showing constantly 23 units, however we keep on receiving bills with 50 units consumption every month. Now, from last two months, we are receiving bills with 50 units consumption with previous & current readings to be shown same. We have received the correct bills till Oct-13. Afterwards all bills have been sent with wrong amounts. Authentic meter reading 23 units which is being displayed over meter physically.

Dear Sir, This is in reference to our letter dated 10/02/2014 regarding Excess Bill since 5 Months. But till date you have not taken any action in this matter. I was told that from your side a person will come and check the meter and will solve the problem. But Sir, my problem is not been solved till yet. I am getting a very excess bill that is above Rs 7500 since 4 Months. As I have already mentioned in my previous letter that we only use 3 tubelight, 2 Fan, one PC, A/c and TV. But why am I still getting so much high bill every month. I request you to please look in this matter seriously and send your person to check weather somebody is doing theft of electricity from our meter or the meter is faulty.           This is to inform you that we have a domestic Electricity connection through JVVNL Jaipur with the name of my husband Late Mr. Basarmal Devijimal at Plot No. 24 Sindhi Colony Bani Park Jaipur with meter number 533535D1 which was changed last month with meter number 1622107. We have just received a bill of Rs 88, 817.00 which is unjustified. There are only two persons, myself Mrs. Pushpa Basarmal and my husband's sister Sugni Bai Devjimal is living in this house. Before the meter was changed, Our average consumption of electricity was not more than 150 to 200 units per month.                       We are living in U block. On an average out bill comes usually 6000 to 8000 and for month of jan-feb it came as rs4000 but current bill generated for march-april is unusually high and came as Rs.22600. There is no such usage or loading. Moreover the meter inside our house is not used to take the reading and is no where matching with bill. We heard that the bioll reading is taken from the poll on a road. i have serious concern that someone is using electricity that is charged from our meter. There are many contruction going on near by. We need the inspection and also bill recaculation based on our flat usage. K.No. for us is [protected]. Kindly resolve the problem asap.

                          Respected Sir/Madam, I'm common salaried employee with a salary of 10000/month.I'm residing in virar e since last 8 years. Eventually we used to get our electricity bill of 200. After that suddenly we started getting bill of 750 & above & now its has crossed 2500/month. Though we don't used so much of electricity apart from regular use & most of the time we switch off all our appliances. We had also approached local msed office, but to no vial. Non of them were even bothered to listen to our grievances. Requesting you to kindly look into the matter & do the needful asap. We are not in a position to pay even the current month bill. Month by month the billed have soaked our blood. You can check our bill track record. It has increased from 50 units to now 300 units Which isn't possible under any any circumstances.                             Kindly check the attached Bill and below DATA sheet, below is just a description as my electricity flows .

                            But I want to know this what is that other charge in my electricity bill why I am paying that other charges to U ?

                            And how my last two bill unit has been increased so high if my average bill goes up to 291 units only and also please check bill schedule in last two bill it starts from 22 march till 21st April 2014 and after that my new bill also starts from 21 April Till 22 May 2014 ?

                            How does that bill reader can come on same date to took bill reading for two months and also for all previous month ?

                            21st April 2014 is common in my both bill !

                            I has complain many time regarding my last two bill but no solution !

                            And also check last two bill which contain unit of 473 AMT : 3850 and unit 480 AMT 3836.31 ?

                            And also 1st three bill where Unit goes two 258 unit AMT 1780 and 268 Unit 1643 ?

                            How can u charge Amt less for more unit ? Kindly check all unit charges also ...

                            And also check your bill generation cycle which is different for every month how ?

                            Just I want a solution hence I am writing this mail to you, Kindly check and correct my bill and also check my home meter which does not runs more than 291 units in a single month !

                              Hi Sir,

                              I'm in a appartment where 4 other tenants are also living and the main gate is open 24/7, the EB man who came to take the reading as falsified the Assessment status as Door Locked and mentioned the same reading what was paid in the month of March. When I went to the EB office to ask for justification, they haven't responded properly and told me to pay 6325 rs and told me not to ask them anyother questions.

                              I need justice for this Sir, Please help me out.

                                i am putting up in chadigarh and my house no is 762/3 in sec-26E.
                                i am realyy fed up with electricity bill.my meter got failed in the month of either Oct12or nov12.the one who note the reading never bothered to inform about the same and as m working i dont knw when they came to note the reading.nobody informed that meter was failed.i got to know when i got the next bill i.e 27sep12-27nov13 and that was bill on average and normally double than usual bill.i called up electricity dptt and told them about the same they told me not to submit the bill and file a complaint.i did the same and then finally they bothered their self and changed the meter on 23rd/24th Jan 13.i was not at home when they came to change the meter so when i called up them to check the status they told me the reading they have set the meter that was 5047.now when i got the bill for 27nov12-27jan13,the new reading what they have shown in bill is 5063.the miserable thing is the new bill i got is four times more than what i am supposed to get.every time i call up they suggest only one solution "come to office and register a complaint".this is the problem if i could have come to office then this problem would not have lasted so long.M working and can't visit the office to register the complaint and then to get the result.please its really disguise and kindly do the needful at earliest as i m really really fedup and upset.plzzzzzz help!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                yaar mei to kehta hu ye sarkari sand htaa ker government ko chahiye ki iss department ko private ker dena chahiye fir dekho 110% public satisfy ho jaaegi saale free ki salary lete hain.

                                Myself Rupali Jassal W/O Harvinder Jassal, Residing in IMTECH HOUSING SECTOR 39A, our electricity bill has been generated from may to july with the amount of 22000 rupees which is far 10 times more than average, we have recently checked our meter reading which is less than the current bill new reading, The error is visible shown on the bill clearly, we always have average billing cycle which is max of 2000

                                I went to complaint department Er. Gurnam Singh, SDO OP Sub Divn. Sec 40, he has not not listen our complaint properly and gave us round figure to submit the amount ...He was keep busy with his personal phone calls ...he was very rude to explain the excess bill information

                                i would like to address this issue that complaint department should listen our problem and to serve the customers properly ...22000 is not small amount and our complain is very genuine ...Unless we do not get the clarification and cause of excess bill, our issue of excess bill can not be solved ...Please consider this matter as early with your convenience ...

                                IF public voice is not considered and complaints are not served properly, we have to approach for the higher authorities to complaint about the department ...I will be highly appreciate if you consider this issue ASAP

                                  I live in Kaspate Vasti, Pune. I have shifted to this place in January. I did not receive electricity bill for December Month so I did not make any payment. Today some people came from electricity department and disconnected the meter without any intimation.. After enquiring with neighbour, he said its common here that people does not receive bill for 2 to 3 months in rows. Person has to go personally to enquire about bill and pay the amount.

                                  My Billing Unit is 4636.

                                    1. How maximum demand is coming as 4. 00 KW, where normally one light and one fan is running in the said house. This house contains two floors. 1st floor is closed from July 11 onward and only two persons are living on the ground floor. No A.C./ cooler is there in the house. Our maximum load is not more than 1 KW at any point of time. House owner has taken sanctioned load for 2.00KW for the house..
                                    2. Please see the Sr. No. 1&2, consumption of electricity was 700 & 1044 KWH during those months, because of both floors were occupied. During that period also maximum demand was 2.00KW only.
                                    3. Because of Maximum demand indicated as 4.00 KW, your billing section has put a penalty of Rs 260.00, which will go automatically once maximum demand is reduced below 2.00 KW, which is genuine and justified.
                                    4. We got the bill on 29th September 12 evening and it was to be paid by 01.10.2012. We reached sector -16A for correction of bill, but we were told that you go to sector-1. We were advised to pay the amount and claim/adjust the amount in forthcoming bill of September 12 & October 12. Accordingly we have paid the electricity charges.
                                    5. We would request you to correct our bill and revised bill showing Rs (-) 520.00 may please be issued or may be adjusted in next bill.
                                    6. Meter reader may be advised to give us the indication if we are at fault at any point of time. Period of electricity is sometimes more than 2 months and sometimes less than 2 months. Accordingly consumption varies.
                                    Further we would request you to kindly do the needful and correct our bill which we have already paid. Corrected bill showing (-Rs 520) may please be sent to us at our address: C-18, Sector-15, Noida-201301. Copy of bill is enclosed.

                                      I am a resident of C-405, Designers Park(B-9/1A) ,Sector 62 , Noida ,UP .
                                      I was shocked when i saw my electricity bill for period 16/8/2012 to 6/9/2012 which was around Rs. 6600 for 1600 units. approx.

                                      Actually the bill which supposed to come is around 20-25 units per day so approx. Rs. 2000 ..
                                      the previous bill was of around Rs. 2600 for period of 40 days and likewise all the bill are.
                                      Then I checked my meter ,it shows the same reading as in bill but i am very confident there have been some theft with electricity or someone else has either passed his connection through my meter or some sort of that.

                                          I paid Electricity bill ( no: LZ000896 and LZ007196) of amount 1542 and 1865 at aponline services in regemental bazar opposite to ganesh temple on 9/7/11 (transaction id :T[protected] and T[protected]) but till now 11/9/11 the bill is not updated and it is showing as arears. Please Head of AP online services taken my complaint into consideration and solve my problem as soon as possible.

                                          i cannot pay my bills through online payment.. It is appearing as consumer number is already registered though i did not register... please cancel if my consumer number is already registered as soon as possible so that i can able to register again and pay my bills through online payment..

                                          my self vijaykumarmotwani poll no- vk6b since last 4 months my electric meter is not working and i had complaint so many time's but we couldn't any response from your side Mr RK RAI nature is not good and me reject me so many time.my meter riding difference is 1000 units.I had paid average bill from last four months.they had told me that don't pay the bill of this month till the wait for new meter and they will check the riding of new meter and according to new meter riding we will pay our bill.without any information they had cut my connection because of this my uncle who have heart patient and facing problem.according to your rule without any information you can't cut the connection but why this is not follow in my connection. i had try to contact this problem with Mr RK RAI but he disconnect my call and switch off his mobile.because of all this our family children facing problem. plz change my meter as soon as possible and refund my access money which had i already paid to you.

                                            How come that in my bill there is showing a balance to be paid?
                                            Every time, we have been paying in excess only. It is only this time that I have read the bill thoroughly. Earlier, we never used to look at the bill. We always paid the bill amount as it appeared on it.

                                            Attached herewith are both the bills.
                                            The first one is the last paid bill : total bill amount was 978.90 and the amount paid was 980.00
                                            The second bill that has come on 8/9 shows that there was a balance of 13.09 to be paid and the same was added to make it a total of 1120.70

                                            We have never gone so deep as of now. May be that GEB must have collected such amounts in our earlier bill also....

                                            How will I be able to resolve atleast the current issue?

                                                Electricity Department — excess bill raised

                                                I have purchased a flat no. c-20/8 sector-71 ground floor flat from mr. lalit. bills are raised in the name of mr lalit .Payment of previous electricity bills have been made by me regularily.
                                                I am very surprised to see that my actual meter reading is 4202 while bill of 4500unit has been generated showing a totol bill of rs.1543/. Earlier minimum bills were raised by dept which was cleared regularily.I do't have tv/ac/fridge/washing machine machine etc.
                                                I personally contracted sector 71, noida where no one was ready to hear &solve the problem. According to me bills are being raised without tacking actual meter reading. pl. look into the matter.

                                                      I have been receiving wrong electric bill (in the range of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 60,000/-) from MSEB department since more than one year and every month I or my wife is visiting your Thane office for manual correction of bill.

                                                      I and my wife have requested and escalated to your officer in Thane office for necessary correction (Xerox copy of bills is also given), however neither the necessary action is taken nor a commitment is received.

                                                      I have a similar grievance .I am resident of Thane. I have recieved monthly electricity bill of about 36500 /-, which MSEB is forcing me to pay saying that the reading of the meter was faulty from last 1.5 years.

                                                      I was regularly paying bills which were around 800 rupees every month which i think were appropriate considering my electricity usage & that i dont even have AC's/Geyser or any other appliances which consume much electricity.
                                                      Adding to it, we all are working @ home, so can MSEB explain me what made them bill me such an huge amount .

                                                      Currently i am just posting a comment, but if my issue doesnt get solved which i am trying to solve which is difficult considering arrogant MSEB officials, i am willing to pull these people into legal actions.

                                                            Complain for High electric bill Meter no 13581098. My average bill is 400 to 500 hundred rupees per month. But suddenly last few months the bill is increase to 900 to 1000 per month. I write the complain on paper and went to electricity office mayur vihar phase 1 to submit complain. But they are not received the written complain and they behave disrespectful to me and other people.
                                                            Please resolve the Issue of high electric bill and resolve it ASAP.
                                                            We received a very high electricity bill for last month even though we didn't use any extra electricity. Later i came to know that our electricity quota was decreased from 3 kilo watt to 6 kilo watt without our concern. I request you to undo the changes & make the electricity quota back to 3 kilo watts..
                                                            Our electricity quota was increased from 3 kilo watts to 6 kilo watts without our concern. I request you to take immediate action towards it & make the quota back to 3 kilo watts because we don't use any extra electricity..
