I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with GoMechanic. I booked a bonnet painting service through the GoMechanic app on 19th June for a listed price of ₹3, 299. After applying a coupon discount of ₹699, the final amount was ₹2, 699 (including safety and warranty fees), which I paid in full.

I had scheduled standard service for my car through GOMECHANIC app on 15 April. I received a confirmation link, through which I was required to pay Rs. 100 to confirm the next day (16 April) with the workshop. I paid and got the confirmation. I also received the quotation of Rs. 3549 (Rs. 3500 + surcharge Rs.49). However, next day after the service was done, the invoice that I got showed Rs. 3883 for standard service. I have given my car to GoMechanic for denting and paiting as per application 2.4k per panel with coupon 1.95k paid and I got call from GoMechanic service person. I asked that is it possible to do second door for 2.5 as there will be very less scratches and he accepted for 3k.

After completing he is 5+ k and mentioning that I was telling about one panel only for 3.2k not..

The trailing message was sent to Mr Abhishik, supposedly claimed by himself to be from the Gomechanic Escalation desk, on an email address provided by himself. He made it very clear over the call that sending the mail to Gomechanic is going to be my waste of time. Little did I know that the mails would actually not work because my mails would be rejected.

Despite messaging him to find me the email address for the escalation desk that goes through he rejected my request and failed to respond.

I hope this message reaches you with the urgency and frustration that I am feeling at this moment. I am writing to express my profound disappointment and utter dismay regarding the abysmal service experience I recently encountered with your company, GoMechanic.

On 26th August, I entrusted GoMechanic, through your service buddy Mr. Udit Arya +91 [protected], with the responsibility of basic service of my car, a Maruti Suzuki SX4, and addressing an issue where the vehicle was shutting down while in motion. The car was delivered the next evening. To say that I am disappointed with the level of service provided would be a severe understatement.

Here are the myriad of issues that I faced throughout this ordeal:

Incomplete Service: The most basic promise of servicing my car (without an oil change) was not fulfilled properly. Car was not cleaned (covered in dust, tires and sections near it were dirty, interiors were dirty). If you had replaced the spark plugs and the air filters as part of repairs, why was I still charged for air filter & spark plug cleaning.

Unprofessional Behavior: Mr. Udit Arya, your service buddy, exhibited a shocking lack of knowledge about cars and the progress of my order. His unprofessional and irritable behavior made me feel like I was doing his job for him.

Poor Communication: The communication from GoMechanic's end was virtually non-existent. I had to take the initiative to get updates, inquire about the progress of my order, and ensure that the necessary repairs were being carried out.

Unsanitary Condition: When I received my car, it was not only incomplete but also disgustingly dirty both inside and outside. This is entirely unacceptable for a service that I paid for.

Substandard Workshop: To make matters worse, when I visited the workshop myself, I was appalled to find a sub-substandard facility with a lack of professional tools, equipment, and an overall shabby appearance. This not only raises questions about the quality of work but also about safety standards.

Unnecessary Charges: It became evident that GoMechanic's motive was to make money rather than provide genuine and necessary service and fixing the actual issue at hand. Needless repairs were made, yet the original issue persisted.

I find it utterly unacceptable that I entrusted my vehicle to GoMechanic, only to be subjected to such a horrendous service experience. Therefore, I hereby demand the following actions to rectify this situation:

Full Refund: I expect a complete refund for the service provided, which was not only incomplete but also of a highly unsatisfactory standard.

Compensation: In recognition of the immense inconvenience, frustration, and the sheer waste of my time, I demand compensation for the horrible experience I endured.

Immediate Resolution: The original issue with my car must be addressed and rectified at an authorized Maruti Suzuki workshop at no additional cost to me.

I expect a prompt response and resolution to these issues. My trust in GoMechanic has been severely shattered, and it is incumbent upon your company to make amends for the subpar service that I have received.

Please understand that my frustration and anger stem from the fact that I had believed in GoMechanic's promise of reliable and efficient car service, and this experience has proven otherwise. I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and restore my faith in your company.

Full comprehensive service taken from gomechanic noida, , , fuel pump they told damaged need to change, , , now after changing fuel pump amd spark plugs car stopped in midway, , only cranking but not starting, , , now i m calling them to repair they are not responding worst company why people go on go mechanic when they can get it done in some decent workshop

I have ordered the product with Gomechanic spares and there was no update on the order processing. When I call them they told me the product is out of stock and refund will be initiated. Till now the refund is not settled. Whenever I call the customer care they lethargically answer like it will be processed within 15 days.

go mechanic ek fraud company hai, inhone majdooro ko mechanic bana rakha hai ..car service ke naam pe sab chori karte hai, sirf engine oil 3rd quality ka change krte hai baaki sb jo laga hua hai wahi daal dete hai clean krke or charge kar lete hai new ka.
1. diesel filter not changed but charged
2. no alighment, no wheel balancing but i paid.
3. no car wash done properly, it looks like they have used wet cloth only.
4. no gear oil, diffrential oil changed but charge included in service
5. no ac filter change
6. rear brake shoe above mrp .
i have paid 25000rs but still i feel i havenot spent 25rs ...they just want peoples money so that they can enjoy ..

The car was sent to service, the mechanic checked and took the car.
Once I got it back, I reported the radiator fan will not stop and was running continuously and making Loud noise.

I told the service engineer then, he said it will be fine. I raised complaints with my RM, told that the fan was working fine and started noise while in service. Something was damaged.
They promised to get it checked.
Spoke 3-4 times.now I Chay they say will get back to me and The RM, krapendra singh, DOESN'T ANSWER THE CALLS.

PLEASE SUGGEST how to get thjs fixed, because GO MECHANIC IS unhelpful and uninterested after taking the money.

I have initiated my refund request on 24th January 2023, Hence they didn't send the service person on the booking time.So I have requested refund on the above mentioned date.The customer care person says refund will credit with in 3 to 4 working days but no amount has been credited. I have called more than 4 times to customer care of Gomechanic they used to say the same things.such a fraud persons

As per your policy, it should happen within 3-4 working days. I also tried to reach out to your customer care many times and every time getting a reply that it will be processed within 3-4 working days.

I am Shaik Akram Ali from hyderabad. I have seen a ford ecosport vehicle to purchase secondhand and made a inspection in gomechanic. They given clean and clear chit and also quoted 6.5lakhs worth. Believed in gomechanic inspection report, i took the vehicle from the owner for 5.3lakhs. The very next day i went to garage for oil change and then they told this is a accident vehicle(left side pillar is damaged, bonnet is replaced, door is also...

I was promised a total refund as the workshop did not replace any part and gave me a bill of Rs 10, 000. I was assured by the GoMechanic buddy Lokesh that I will get back the total refund and I have not been contacted since. The supervisor Inderjeet Singh also does not want to pick my calls or reply to my messages.

The workshop is in Gurgaon, near Daultabad flyover.

I have videos and recordings of the way I was treated at the workshop and it is sad to have even gotten my car here in the first place.

Am highly dissatisfied with the services and the response shared by service buddy gulam.

i have given the car for service under comprehensive service and asked the mechanic to check if there are any other problems in the car. mechanic shared me the estimate which i thought i will choose to work on those things later and i choose only comprehensive service. after car has been delivered to me, i experienced the problem that the car is jumping so much which was not happeneing previously before i have shared it with gomechanic. on asking it with service buddy he was telling me that he has already given the estimate under which shockers were damaged. i agree to the estimate but on asking him the reason of this changed user experience where i was not experencing this jumping before which was not there earlier he dont have any answer apart from telling me that we have already given the estimate where shockers are damaged. this was real funny answer from his side given to me again and again whenever i was asking him about it. i am highly dissatisfied with how he handled my queries.

also when i told him that on he can loose a client just because of the conversation which he had he told me very shamelessly that its your choice.

from the customer perspective I felt that during inspection of my car, something wrong has been done to the shockers by the service providers assigned by gomechanic. Car was very less driven. i also feel that there is a possibility of car parts change as mine is chevrolet and the parts do not come handy. really very bad service done by gomechanic and very bad behaviour of service buddy.

I ordered Turtle wax hybrid solution 3 in one detailer, by paying via lazypay, with amount 1626, with order ID GDWS331RXF, as order was delayed and not packed too by seller, I cancelled the order and I got message on website that I will get full refund of order within 5-7 days .It's been 12 days the refund is not processed and customer care has no idea and nor do they respond properly .Mail has no reply from go mechanic .Go mechanic please refund my money as earliest as possible .

I went for premium AC service (~4000INR) for my Honda city as suggested by them during normal servicing. They charged almost 12000INR telling that your cooling coils and valve are also damaged. Seems like and hear from others that this is their standard operating procedure. And when I got back my car its AC blower was not working. Unwillingly they took the car back and to my surprise told me that ac blower motor has gone faulty. They forced me to pay for it which was most probably damaged by them (if it was actually damaged). I kept telling them to bear this cost of damage but nothing works ...no escalation and no support. Decided to logoff from their App and never to use their services. Also raised warranty claims

I have given my order for service on 12th July, however the person who picked the vehicle created the job card on 12th Aug after reaching workshop. It’s been more that 2 months and Till now I didn’t get my vehicle back and the person from workshop is keep postponing the dates, even gomechanic team is least bothered to check and provide the update. I strongly recommend not to go for service with this fraud companies

Go-Mechanic Kolkata and their team have damaged the steering system of my car Etios V and not repairing it till date even after 2months. The car was first given to Go mechanic for renewal of all 4 shock absorbers and repair of front bumper in 1st week of July 2022. Go mechanic then assigned Mr.Soumya Ghosh as the service buddy for my car. This person chose a workshop which was 15kms away from my residence but there were many authorised workshops with 1km from my house. The car had no steering problems at all. I was against any repair work to be done on the steering system. In spite of that they opened the steering system and did some welding and lathe work on the steering rack. After the car was delivered the steering was so hard that it could hardly turn. Even when I forcefully turn the steering it would not come back to middle. There were instances when at turns the steering would not return and was about to meet an accident. I was totally panicked and afraid to even take the car out.
When I told him about the problem he convinced me by saying that it would ease up after driving for few kilometers. Even after driving for a month the steering did not loosen whereas it became more hard and would not turn. There were instances that I had missed accidents by a whisker. The car was again taken to the same workshop and kept there was more than a week but without any improvement. Every time they would take my car and consume all the fuel and bring back in same condition. I have raised this issue numerous times in the go mechanic app through chat messages. This issue was twice escalated and Ms.Jhanvi Rajpoot was assigned as escalation manager but to my surprise the escalation was closed without solving the problem. Later some Mr.Manoj called me 2weeks before and gave false promises and a lecture on escalation process. Later even he vanished from the scene. Presently my car is still in one of Go mechanic workshop. Every time I send the car with half the tank full of fuel and it comes back empty. Go mechanic buddies are on money making racket and are hand in glove with the workshops. They cheat the customers by assigning a workshop which is far from the customers house so that the customers physically be present and later force upon them with a list of jobs which are not required at all. The quality of the workshops are of least grade and competence of the mechanics are worst.
Also to mention that in between some Mr.Suvankar came into picture who called himself as the manager of Kolkata and gave false and farse talk. Later he also vanished from the scene.

Presently, my car is at Go-mechanic workshop “Mondal Udyog” in Kolkata. Was picked up on 29.08.2022 and promised to be delivered on 31.08.2022. Today it’s 09.09.2022 and it has not been delivered yet. The fuel tank was 50% full when it was picked up. Last Tuesday I was asked to come for test drive. The steering problem was not resolved, it was same as it is but the fuel tank got empty. Is seems that my car is being used for personal use. I found chocolate and wafer wrappers inside the car.
This is a formal complaint against Go-Mechanic and team. If my car is not delivered in original condition by this weekend then I am going to involve the law and lodge a complaint in consumer court. I shall if required involve the media as well.
Hope you understand my situation and will act accordingly.
It is ridiculous that a simple repair job was completely messed up and made my car non drivable for 2months.
I am surprised by the easy going attitude of Go mechanic. No one cares to call and respond to customers complaint. Moreover everyone is trying to hide away from their responsibilities.

I took the car service from your so called fraud company on 22 April and that time also I raised some issues related to washing and small eye catcher issues but it was not that big issues.

But one week before I found my car AC stopped working for which you charged with me even I thought I will not go again but yesterday it was height of my limits even you people did not replaced my engine oil and you charged near about 3000 rs for that my car is showing indication of no engine oil and when I checked personally I found nothing.

These guys are the biggest fraud. Never do service with them. I had order id[protected] done with them. When they delivered the petrol tank was almost empty when I had more than 50% tank. They charge 600 for o-ring thinking customers are fools when their website mentioned 66rs for that tiny item. Even with miles membership the service guy tried to cheat and get full amount.
