I own a WRV Diesel purchased in April 2018. The AVN of the car was faulty and subsequently a replacement was approved in July 2020 as the car is under warranty.
The company has not been able to replace the unit till date and make the same excuse that the parts supply is not there from China. If one goes through the complaint it was the same case with Honda India even before the covid pandemic and even today all their new vehicles come fitted with the same digipad 2.0 for which the company claims there are no parts available.

This is the reason Honda Cars is where they are today in India. Wright at the bottom. The sell you extended warranty but do not want to honor any claim under the same.

    I, satya narayan agrawal, director of m/s vari agencies private limited, having purchased a honda city on 22nd may, 2017 in the name of the company. I have been facing problems since the very beginning with the working of the infotainment (Radio) system installed in the car which used to hang a lot initially. I repeatedly complained about it being faulty every time when it was sent for service and presently the same is not working at all even after hard resets as advised by the service executive. A video-graphic proof of the infotainment system not working even after hard reset was sent to the service executive as per his request on 9th january, 2020 and 21st january, 2020.
    Recently, my car went to the workshop on 3rd march, 2020 wherein i raised the request regarding the replacement of the infotainment system based on the video-graphic proof shared with the service executive but was told that the part is not in stock and the request for the part will be put and when it arrives the same will be installed. But now i am being told that the part comes from china and currently the imports are shut down due to lockdown.
    There are other complaints as well which were raised since the beginning but were not taken care of by the service centre and no proper resolution regarding the same has been provided till date. The other issues raised were:
    1. The defogger not working properly.
    2. The wiper water nozzle not throwing water properly on the windshield.
    Further, the coin pocket of my car was damaged in one of the services and has not been replaced until now even after being mentioned to the respective service executive.
    The car sent for service on 3rd march, 2020 was supposed to get serviced and delivered to me by 19th march 2020 (Which was before the lockdown began) but has not been delivered to me yet i. E. Till 9th june, 2020.
    I have copies of the tax invoice for the services with me wherein the concerns regarding the problems of infotainment system, defogger, the wiper water nozzle etc. Were raised repeatedly, dated 19th august 2017, 29th november 2017, 14th march 2018, 26th june 2018, and 27th december 2018, the same are being attached herewith for your reference.
    If the service centre does not have adequate parts and is not providing quality service then is it even eligible to be a service centre for such an esteemed company as honda? This is highly disappointing and unprofessional since this means that a japanese company's authorized service centre does not value the time of its customers when time is the only thing that is truly invaluable.
    Also, it is very interesting to note that i got a call from the service centre today on the 9th june, 2020 asking me when they can pick my car up for the paid service which got due when the car is still standing in the same workshop since 3rd march, 2020.
    The resolution desired by me is:
    1. The replacement of the faulty infotainment system with a new one.
    2. Proper service and resolution of all the concerns raised by me which have not been addressed.
    3. Proper future service of the car keeping in mind that time is money and can't be misused by someone else due to their incompetency and inefficiencies
    4. Monetary compensation for the harassment of not servicing my car as per proper standards, for delaying the delivery of my car by almost one whole month after the lockdown was lifted, wasting my time and energy to call the executives time and again to ask when they will deliver the car only to get told that the car has not been serviced due to some reason or the other.

      I had given my car no MH-02-DS-0271 in linkway honday goregaon, mumbai for accidental repairs, front windsheld glass and sun roof on 19/8/2016
      A) first of all they did not had parts in stock
      B) they did not even had idea about how many days it would take the parts to procure as they were searching the parts in Honda and also with other dealers
      C) It took approx 10 days to get the car repair
      NOW ONCE I GOT THE CAR I CHECKED AFTER 1 HOUR
      there were stains on the inner side of the car roof which were not at all cleaned
      the front glass which was replaced was not at clean and was dirty with lots of dust.
      I had received a feedback call from linkway 2 times and had told them the same said they will send a person but its a bad service
      i had done the service of the car 1 week before the accidental in that also i had told that car is pulling and service is not done properly which is also not taken into consideration...
      seems they are taking things lightly

        Dear Sir,

        My Honda City I-TECH Regd No WB-06-G-0972 met with a serious accident on 12 Oct 2015 on Jaipur-Pali-Ahmedabad Expressway near Pali, Rajasthan due its poor engineering and design defect.

        At about 6.15 pm on 12 Oct 2015, I was travelling with my family on said expressway, the right wheel (driver side) alongwith the axle and link rod came out of its position leading to severe accident of the vehicle. The Mc-phersion assemble came out from its studs and ball joint.

        The road being expressway has no speed breakers and the car never ran over and stones etc nor hit on any road side objects. It was running absolutely normal when all of a sudden the wheel with axle came out.

        Although we escaped from any fatal injury, however my family shook over the incident and is undergoing tremendous mental trauma till date. Our car has been crushed miserably, since it banged on road divider, culverts etc number of times before it stopped.

        The damages of the car has been assessed for approximate Rs 4, 00, 000 /- for repairs at any Honda Service Center. The details of damages came through visual inspection are as Follows:-

          Basically I have Honda city car 14000 km driven and 1yr old and I have purchased new car from Honda showroom parparganj. the issue is that my car's tyres(both front side tyres) are destroyed and we call mrf company for inspection and according to them there is something fault in car not in tyres. They are blaming service authority and service authority blaming tyre company that their is problem in tyres. Noone is listening. So Pls do something

            Sir, I have purchased the new honda amaze car for with i took delivery on 09/02/2015, with chasis no.- MAKDF25HCF4100640 from Rushabh Honda Nashik. But within 10 days of delivery while driving car one of the tyre got busted but as per my knowledge and experience tyre can be puncture but cant be got busted at least new one. As well when my tyre got busted i immediately changed that one with with reserved stepney but while changing that i came to know that air in it was very low which is not accepted at all. As result of that within a run of a kilometer that also got punctured. Regarding this I lodge a complaint with dealer and have already sent my new car back to showroom for requesting for changing tyres. But as I have submitted my car on 21st April and today is 28th april still there is no any prompt action taken. So my compaint is 1) How a new tyre can be busted so easily that means quality is very poor for accessories. 2)Why no proper level of air was maintained in stepney and who is responsible for that? 3) Why such long time is required to resolve the issue? 4) Even a new customer is facing such problem that really put question for your quality of service and product also. So just clear me a think that whether tyres are going to be replaced or not. Whatever is your decision please tell me as i am really frustrated as there is no use of new car for me but parked at service station.

              I had booked a new Honda City VXMT Petrol car from Ring Road Honda, MG Road in Gurgaon. This booking was done in Nov 2013 and delivery is expected in the first week of March [dealer communication]. As per the recent budget there is a reduction of 4% in the excise duty and this translates to approximately Rs 40, 000 for my car. But I was told by the dealer yesterday that Honda has dropped prices by Rs 20, 000 only. When all the other car companies are passing on the benefit of excise duty, why in Honda cheating the customer !!! I have paid an advance for the booking and am waiting patiently for more than 3 months to get my car. I will definitely cancel my booking if this is how a customer in treated. This is CHEATING !!! I am appalled at the way you are taking customers for a ride.

              Honda are not genuine and lost its crediibility and integrity by not passing on the entire benefit of ED cut by Government whereas other car manufacturers are really genuine in this aspect. Even there is no reason expressed by Honda for not being able to pass on the entire benefit. Simply they take customers for a ride just because of overwhelming response they had for new city bookings. But they don't realise that the same customers only were making Honda no 1 earlier and now too. I think Honda thinks that these loyal customers deserve to be cheated like this...Honda your dream run will not last long if you are not customer oriented...Think now at least to pass on the entire benefit of ED cut
              to regain the losing integrity and faith in Honda by customers...
