Delay in getting meter of new connection
Dear sir/MadamI had applied to MSEDCL For new electric connection vide App.No.4718991 dated 11 FEB 2023 along with all the necessary document, viz. 1. My Aadhar Card 2. Affidavit from the owner & 3. Light Bill of adjacent consumer of MSECB.I was told that I will get call on my registered number for Deposit of connection fees but despite of my several visits they have turned for the connection. Now its about to complete 30+ Days of application & I have neither received any call or letter from them.

Money deducted but not reflected in the mahavitaran app
I have paid light bill through UPI on mahavitaran app, Money deducted from bank but mahavitaran app failed to redirect instead it sent me to home screen.
And when I tried to check again, it doesn't show me as bill is paid rather it showing me same amount and want me to pay again.

Complain against local wireman

I live in nallasopara (E) gangdepada. I am writing this letter for consulting above subject.
In my area light is biggest problem. The local wireman of my area comes and gives light cut off for a little bit a lot of people here have also taken stolen light but no action is being taken on it, on the contrary if they face any problem here they come straight and turn off the transformer.and then those people after doing their work let the transformer go
I hope you understand our problem and please take action on it

These mahavitran employees come to us every month and give us the average bill once they also gave the bill of rs 11000 or 2 or 3 months . after so many fights and settlement they came down to 6, 500 we paid the said amount and settled the issue again they are giving us the same average for last two months we were not even using the flat and the manager is also not helpful at all this is ridiculous .

i anis babulal shaikh consumer no.[protected] have to inform you that, i have done bill payment of bill period 1.33 month on 22 jan 2022 amount rs.9400/- transaction id [protected] by mahavitaran apps with hdfc internet banking.
But till date bill amount has not been showing on mahavitran apps in payment history. And when i discuss on phone with mahavitran employee she told me amount has not received up to date.But in my hdfc statement showing amount credited to [protected]/techmaharashtra state. Sir please see attachment files and solve this issue.

Money didect but not credit

On 23 jan 2022 i paid my eletriccity bill dues rs.500 through the payment gateway. Suddenly the server was down. The amount has been deducted from my account but the transaction is not successful. The receiver has not received transaction and the dues is still pending. My dues are still pending. I kindly request you to refund my amount as soon as possible.

Billing Issue
I am consumer residing at Wanowari Hadapsar 411028, which is having electricity connection bearing consumer no.[protected] . Today, I was shocked to receive the current electricity bill no. [protected] for an amount of Rs 6050. The bill for this month is almost three times the amount of my regular bills.
I investigated the matter from my side to find out the error and I noticed that new meter was installed on 22nd April the person taking reading has not taken May reading and given average bill again. Current bill consumption is given 506 units and last month reading is given as 1 unit.
So please provide me the proof of May reading as 1 unit, as per my knowledge it should be around 180 units. These 180 units should be deducted from 506 units. The current bill should be charged on 326 units.

Hi,

I, Subhadeep Mukherjee, resident of Flat 203A, Plot No 1, Sector -22, Koparkhairane, Pin Code - 400709 request you to please review our case. My flat has been vacant since June 2020 as my mother was been treated in Kolkata for cancer and has since passed away however during this period we are receiving very high & inflated electricity bills. I am up to date with my payments however request you to please inspect our case and act accordingly. It has also been brought to our attention that our meter has been taken away.

For the past 7 to 8 years my consumption of electricity is between 70 to 90 units per month. The meter reading taken on 17/02/2021 shows my consumption as 208 units, which is totally incorrect, as no additional electrical equipment is installed in the house and number of family members residing in the house is the same.This indicates that the meter has gone faulty. Mahavitaran - electricity bill double during lockdown

I have recently received a bill of Rs. 9390. My average electricity bill is Rs. 1100.
This is more than double of the bill I received.
I have noticed and found no reading of the electricity meter was done. No person from the mahavitaran has come to society to check the meter.
The units on electricity meter is 1091 units, which is average 130 units consumption.
On complaining to customer of Mahavitaran, they do not agree about the same neither the offices are accepting these complaints.
My history of payment is cleared still I see the 10 times more electricity Bill.
This has to be taken seriously where low income people are affected.
MAHAVITIRAN IS DOING A BIG SCAM
This is more than double of the bill I received.

I use very less power to run my house, which remained shut throughout the entire lockdown. We barely opened it for a few days in May. On average, we incur a bill of Rs 400-500. I’ve raised the issue with the company but no action taken.
I submitted the meter reading myself but still no correction made on Bill.

In the last month of june we got a very high bill generated of rupees 4440 which the first time we got this much bill. The monthly average bill is 1300 to1500 rs. And also we got this month bill of 2660. I don't understand what to do about this issues. Consumer no.[protected].

I kindly inform you that, I live at T.B. TOLI, GONDIA by rent. Unothourised
15420 rs amounts electric bill send by mahavitran for the month march to June.
Before march my monthly electric bill not came more than 400rs. During this corona lockdown period too much extra unothorised charges applied by mahavitran.
I am contributor teacher, my monthly salary is 4000rs. So I am unable to pay this unothourised amount.
I have already given complaints to electric board. But they did not taken any valid action on my complaint.
So please help me.

Inspite of house closed more than 3 months light bill is coming and that also too high than the usual light bill. Also previous light bills have been high. Eventhough complaints have been raised but no help or reply from electricity department of thane, maharashtra. Also in previous year bills this issue was there but not yet been refunded back or any adjustment in the next bills.

Last two month i resived my electricity bill rs 4815 & 1422 a month july-2019 & aug-2019
My average bill is every per month is rs 200 to 400

So far my bill has not come so far. Direct 800 has come but till now 470, 360, 190, 300, 100, 100 please check the bill and reduce the bill.

I have raised complaint against my bill. No action by the team.
Since july 2018 i am getting bill of rs 600+
Unit is fixed 101 unit.
Neither they have send us bills intensely for 2 months. After raising complain they send bill for one month.
Again in month of oct raise compliant for non receiptent of bill.
Then i received in month of jan. Still the bill amount is 600+
I have received msg many time stating we have not received ur meter reading.
I don't have inverter neither a/c.
I am attaching my pervious bills
Please check last year meter reading and present year meter reading.
My meter reading never goes beyond 80+ in winter season and it is 101 fixed since last 6 months.
Please justify me. Help me for the losses. I want reimbursement for extra amt which mahavitaran have taken from me.

Shop was closed for the past 2 months.Also the basic charges of electricity Rs 391 was paid for the month of Feb 2020. Why have I received higher Bill Amount of Rs 1192.64 even if I have not consumed that much units for the month of march as the shop was not in use for the past 2 months. Mahavitaran has given a bill of 1190 dated[protected].
