Dear sir/manager (Spar hypermarket)
I got a mail last week asking me to send details of the bad experience and services i had in which store i had gone to.
The store located near koramangala and close to sony world & just opposite kfc and taco bell restaurant. The security guard who checks for bill before exiting was very rude in talking with customers. He was at duty from between 4pm to 6pm evening. I forgot to note his name down or i would have told you. He did'nt know the way to talk to customers or atleast show his politeness to us. He was very arrogant and rude thinking to be a high class army general or something. I think that person who works is a bit 'crazy'. He is short tempered and talks all thrash with high pitch. Your management of 'spar' needs to fire him immediately from his duties or i or no customers will want to come back here. Please teach him so ettiquettes which he lacks and also how to care and show some respect to customers coz without us your company is a total 'zero'. Keep that in mind or if i ever see him there i will abuse him very badly... Loafer security guard.
Hope you understand what i tried to tell you people... Thanks for taking time in reading my comments about 'spar'.

    I had done some purchasing with my family in spar supermarket in koramangala branch, bangalore... The bill came upto rs. 2300.00 but after i purchased the goods i had to go to ground level to do done other purchase. So i requested that i would keep my goods with the security but they said they dont allow anyone to keep things there. So they told me that i could carry the trolley with me and i did. After and hour or so i came back to up level to buy a small item so i had to take my trolley back inside as they dont take any responsibilities in seeing the customers goods & made the purchase. But while coming out i showed the bill which i did but the arrogant security guard who's name unknown was very rude. He started talking in a very high tone and pushed my trolley aside asking me to show the previous bill. I tried explaining to him that purchase has been done but the bill was not witg me. He continued to talk very rudely and also in a very high pitched voice which made me had a scuffle. I too started to back fire fire him as he had no respect on how to talk to customers. I pity these people who come from lower backward family does not have any culture and how to behave with customers. He should be fired from his job. Finally the manager intervened and he asked me to show the bill or send a message on my phone to proove that i had done a purchase which i did. Its not a matter about how you do your duty... Its a matter of how you should talk or behave with customers... Its a shame! When you see these kind of people around... I am defining the security guard who misbehaved with me or maybe he had done with other customers too... Request to the spar management or manager... To throw him out of his duties immediately or these kind of people will spoil the name and company's reputation.

      On friday[protected], i had visited spar hypermarket store at mantri square (Bangalore) at around 09:15 pm to look for any offers, as i keep getting messages from spar.

      I had visited this store many times before and purchased many items, i found nothing interesting this time, and hence i did not purchase anything from the store.

      While i was exiting the store at around 9:45 pm, the store supervisor stopped me and insulted me in front of everyone by checking my bag for theft.

      I was very frustrated with his rude behaviour.

      When i found innocent, and when he found guilty, he never bothered to apologise, instead he threatened me.

      Please take very serious action on that person for damaging my reputation.

        I purchased powdered sugar from spar hypermarket, it contained lot of salt content which is not mentioned on the product. I bought it assuming to be sugar, but it turned out to be mixed with lot of salt. I was making sweet using it, it tasted so salty. I am very annoyed. These people should be fined a lot for cheating customers. I had to suffer losses for all the amount i spent in making sweet also my lot of valuable time got wasted.

          I did a huge amount of shopping which consists of 2 big trolleys & when the delivery executive comes to deliver, he comes with materials of just 1 trolley. Is this the kind of service & commitment to customers? Most importantly, the delivery is still pending. Being a loyal customer, i trusted them & did another good amount of shopping on that day itself. But undoubtedly, that's pending as well and no-one id bothered to pickup the phone as well. I'm a 2.5 years old customer for them & this is what i should expect?
          I had placed order with spar mantri mall Bangalore. My address was very clear mentioning 3rd floor. The items were sent through Dunzo agent who was very rude and arguing. He threatened to take back the items. Once we mentioned our address spar should have mentioned it is not possible to deliver instead of insulting us with rude delivery agent. My order no is 14620545. I hope corrective action will be taken against the Dunzo delivery agent.

            I purchased Epigamia Greek yogurt 1 week back from Spar retail outlet in KR PURAM Gopalan Signature mall in Bangalore. But when I opened the pack after 1 day I found that the yogurt has a rotten smell and bubbles had formed inside. My two packs of Greek yogurt went for waste as both of them had the same thing. How can you loot your customers like this by selling rotten items in your store ? Every month I buy grocery from your store and my bill is usually Rs[protected].. I will make sure I never buy or visit this store again as I had the worst experience ever ...

              We saw offers are available in ur spar market.i visited ur market ..but they are not responded properly..somebody scolded us we r really very disappointed..very very worst service...if i ask to meet manager they said he is not available ... ur sales representative are not ready to sell at 90% offer ...

                when i went to spar hypermarket, forum mall, mangalore. with my wife and daughter...on 5/2/2017 at 8:00pm...My daughter carried a doll.That doll was dirty.So i kept it back...BUt the sales person and the supervisor harssed me to take that doll.All the sales person and supervisor surrounded us and showed their roudism like criminals ... it was horrible ? So I request all the customers take care or better DON'T GO TO SPAR HYPERMARKET AT FORUM MALL, MANGALORE...PLEASE...iT IS VERY DANGER?

                  Yesterday I bought household items from Spar and to my surprise while billing a customer ahead of me was complaining of being charged above mrp on chocolates, oil, thirumala flavoured milk. So curiously post my billing done I checked my bill too and to no surprise there were many instances of me being charged more. Eg Himalaya hair cream which costed 75ruppees (bar code clearly said and no discount) they billed it for 100. Cornflakes which said 139 (post offer) I was charged 233 and they said the offer mentioned on the board is a mistake from their end. We found many other items billed higher than mrp. Kindly take action against this cause clearly we were cheated for 200 ruppees etc, daily they have more than 100 customers, this seems like a big scam.

                    On 16.02.2016 I purchased two chandika glycerine soaps among other things from SPAR, forum mall, vadapalani, Chennai. MRP printed on the package of the soap is Rs 58. But in my bill it is printed as Rs 174 and that much amount is collected from me. That is Rs 232 is charged extra from me. It is only later when I reached home I checked the details.
                    Detail of the bill is as follows:
                    Bill made at 14:18:10 hours on 16.02.2016. Store ID: 30003. Res:113, Cashier:278 . Total items in the bill is 11 and the soap is item no:6. Total amount of the bill is Rs 1949.10. Photo of the bill enclosed.

                    I requested refund of excess amount collected from me, thru email sent on 17.2.16 to the customercare mail ID([protected]@sparindia.com) given in the company's website sparindia.com. It is three days and I am yet to get even an acknowledgement of my complaint

                      Hi, There is an offer running in the store as LOOT offer valid from 30th september to 4th october. The advertisement was even published in todays paper.

                      I am complaining about the misleading add published by them . The add published was of red label tea leaf 1kg which is of MRP 390 RS and the offer price mentioned in the news paper ad was 290 RS, so total RS 100 off which included RS 40 off on pack.
                      When i purchased the same pack and went to the billing counter to my surprise they told it is RS 310, i told them in today's paper it is mention RS 290. The reply is even more shocking they told it is wrongly printed. How can the publish a wrong advertisement . Please take corrective action against them. I am attaching the screenshot of the ad as well which was published in Bangalore Times 1st Page dated 1st October 2015.

                        Spar hypermarket - do not ever fall into their trap of offers. THAT'S A BIG HOAX. They will promise you many things but when it comes to redeeming those offers NO ONE WILL HELP YOU. I fell into their trap on free movie tickets and bought items wirth Rs. 5000. First of all they have " SOO MANY CONDITIONS FOR THE OFFERS " THAT YOU FEEL SICK! Plus i have trying to call their number BUT NO ONE IS BOTHERED TO PICK UP , I DONT THINK THEY ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE OFFER . THEY HAVE LIED AND NOW THEY DO'NT WANT TO PICK UP THE PHONE !!! I have to leave my job and sit and keep trying their number which puts me in queue forever. PLEASE DO NOT GOTO ANY SPAR AND DO NOT FALL IN THEIR TRAP !!

                          Hi,
                          My sister had a very bad experience at Spar Hypermarket today. She had purchased around 10 items and submitted it at the billing desk. It took almost 5 minutes for the guy at the desk to figure out how to bill items. and he put the items to carry bag and handed over it to my sister along with the balance amount.
                          Now as she left the exit door the alarm rang and the security stopped her by shouting at her and telling in front of all telling that she tied to steal some thing. She felt it like a thunder strike as she never expected such a thing to happen to her after she had billed everthing and and due to some mistake at the billing end, branded as a thief in front of others.
                          After one round of shout, the security guy took her to the manager's cabin and a guy who, seams to be the manager started shouting at her. And when he learned that she was alone, his voice tone changed and he started threatening along with some of his subordinates.. All this time my sister was stuck and didn't know what to do. Then he asked a women security staff to frisk my sister and my sister told its OK as she had nothing to hide, though shocked by this incident..All these time,people were shouting like anything... After the frisking, they told my sister to leave as if they are letting some one go if the gallows. She refused to leave the place and asked for an explanation from them on what happened. But they were not ready to do so. At last some one with sense came and offered to check whether this happened because of any issue at the billing end. Later it was found that the guy who did the billing was a new recruit and it was an oversight from is end and it had happened earlier also..
                          They got the un billed item billed and ask her to leave, but my sister refuse to take the items purchased as she was hurt by their doing and yet they didn't offer an apology to the mistake that happened at their end. After a while an old employee, request her to take the items at least by considering the request a person of his age. She finally agreed to take it..But all these time the security guy or the guy who was shouting at her didn't even bothered to say Sorry for a mistake that they did.
                          She felt so bad after being harassed for a hour or so by some unruly stuff for some stupid mistake done my their staff, left the place and left the items purchased in front of the shop itself.
                          So guys, if you are planning to got to Spar Hypermarket in Bannergatta Road for shopping the next time, please make sure that you cross check or ask the staff at the counters to cross check the items to make sure that you won't have to face the unruly behavior of such staff.

                          after paying still the delivery has not happened for the item ordered for. they don't keep the promise. don't beleive hyper markets. they r not worth to go in
                          they don't give the client the things ordered for on time. strongely believe they r cheating consumers
                          spar hypermarket does not know how to treat their customers. they are a big unmanaged mess. I think no one should go to Spar!!

                            I wanted to register a formal complaint about an incident that I witnessed today at Spar's Koramangla hypermarket, in Bangalore. There is no emal address available anywhere in Spar's website(s) to address customer complaint- hence I am lodging this here.

                            Spar Hypermarket, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore.

                            I recently paid the money on the spot and booked an LCD Telivision that was supposed to be delivered the next day due to stock limits. I waited at 5PM (agreed time) at my place for the delivery and called the attender's mobile number to follow up an hour before to remind him.

                            Being promised, I was made to wait till 10PM in the night and finally told that they left at 4 PM in the evening, but the vehicle that was supposed to come for delivery faced problems and they will deliver at 12 noon next day. When I directly called the store's landline number and enquired, they say the product is not sent out for delivery and is scheduled to deliver next day only. When I wanted my money back badly, they agreed to deliver it that day at 10:30. Still waiting for my product (today is the day).

                            All the complaint is about is, this hypermarket is one of the good ones in it's class. Just that they have hired a bunch of fools, and craps who are totally irresponsible and good for nothing having ZERO knowledge about the products and they just blabber what comes to their mind about the specifications at the time when asked. They just lie flawlessly when they are about to get into problems. Puncture, traffic jam, etc are their expertise when they even haven't sent it out of their store. Why build up hopes in the customer and then release the truth that too when caught? I am seriously thinking of lodging a complaint on this branch to hire specific positions again according to my experiences (not just one... this is third). If not obliged, I am seriously thinking of demoting the reputation of this branch where ever I go.

                            The problem luckily was later solved by a Spar consultant. They called me up and followed up with my problem and found out that the guy (or bunch of guys) playing around irresponsibly were promoters of the TV make company. They actually weren't Spar employees. Later, they were also reported to the TV company who I guess will take these promoters out of Spar and employee more responsible promoters.

                            Also, my humble suggestion to other customers -

                            Please don't hesitate to question who they are if you find any person attending your needs in the hypermarket WITHOUT a badge/uniform. If they aren't in the uniform, better don't bother but look for people who are in uniforms and badges representing proper staff of Spar.

                            Once again, thanks a lot to the person who followed up on call with me and made this happen. I just hope people to to Spar like places with the same confidence level what they had, considering the wonderful range of choices of products. Happy shopping everyone! :)
                            This is my worst shopping experience in life time...I have been going to shopping malls in bangalore for last 10 years but never seen such worst shopping experience like SPAR hyper market Bannerghatta. It is tottaly louzy and had to stand in queue for 20 min for billing. Once I come out after billing faulty machine greeted me at door.

                            They have faulty machine which gives false siren while coming out of door..and then security person unnecessary frisked me for body check..They did not have courtesy to say sorry for their mistake. These nonsense people can't insult esteemed consumers

                            This is utter non sense and unnecessary consumer harrassment..so I have decided not go these kind of fourth class shop in my life time...
