Dear Sir/Madam, Y'day, Nov 11th evening i visited titan eye plus show room in PVS Mangalore for buying opticals after testing. that dr did proper eye test. Then i searched for some specs, however due to some urgency call i planned to visit next day. before leaving the outlet i requested for the test report but that guy reluctant to give. i really amazed being reputed org i never expected this. i dont know what is hig logic for not giving the report, since i am using titan eye plus opticals since past 10years. may be this is the last. Regards

    Titan Eye Plus charging premium for sub-standard products doing irreparable damage to eyes of customer by providing incorrect lenses #shame

    They provided off-centre progressive (very expensive) lenses to a friend and when she complained them of bad vision, they did not pay any attention and insisted that their lenses were correct.


    She got her eyes re-checked with her eye-doctor. Thats when the Doctor, after checking the lenses, told her that the lenses were off-centre.


    She again complained to Titan Eye Plus but to no avail.


    Titan Eye Plus are playing with the eyes of people.

      I ordered a pair of spectacles from titan eyeplus. For a given frame, i ordered crizal lenses which were to be made of poly carbonate material at a given price. The next day i recieved a call saying that the price of the lenses was more than what we intially ordered for, and this is brought to my notice only after the advance is paid.

        Hello sir i have purchased a titan frame wth glass(details given below) on 7th sep 2015 . but there was already a defect on the frame handle which came to my noticed . i asked them to repair it . instead of repairing or informing me about that it cant be repaired they just used glue . and have handed me the same . after returning home i came to know about it . then i went to the dealer as soon as possible and informed them about it . after that they were just trying to convince me to buy another frame, which i dont want . again they tried to repair the defected frame by replacing the screw of the handle wth a different screw. i saw that and told them i want this even the worker have putted some scratch on while repairing . they said it will be replaced . but i think they wont .plz sir i request you to take some serious action against them. my contact Tinku Roy ph no [protected] email id [protected]@gmail.com dealer details RB complex, GF, KB ROAD JORHAT 785001

          Dear Sir/ Madam, I have bought 1 pair of glasses frames + lenses ( Lens Fsv white titan) worth rupees 4065 on dated 28th January 2014 from titan eye plus having sale order TMVS018406 and invoice no. BBA0017095 but within 18 months the lenses coating got literally peeled off even without using it much. i have purchased the lenses worth rupees 1750 without discount but the cost did not worth for me. Since this is such a poor quality of the lenses which could not expect from titan. During the purchase of the lenses titan sale person has been told that these are the finest lenses and which will be last long at least 5 years. But within a year and six month means like as soon as warranty finished lenses got peeled off which we can see by nude eyes and can feel by hand. I have visited to titan store airoli, navi mumbai branch and they have told me that i have to bear at least 75% of lenses charges then they will replace the lenses. I have to mention here that peeled of lenses coating is not my fault then how could i bear charge for new lenses? it is poor quality of titan with high prices. Which is making trouble to the customers after paying high charges. titan eye plus should have to consider about inconvenience occurring to customer. I hope titan will note my complaint and will give me refund or replacement of new lenses free of cost. Looking ahead to hear from you soon.

              I ordered a pair spectacles in Titan eye plus showroom in Ambattur branch, Chennai on 23rd March 2015, my cylindrical power was -3.25 but they delivered spectacle with power of cylindrical power of -3. 0 in the right eye!! They did not even know this while giving me the specs, after a while in home i realised of having blurred vision when compared with my old spectacle, as I went to them, the mistake was found. The receptionist was apologising for this and assured me that i would receive the lens in 4 days but there was another woman(opthamologist) who was a bit rude from the begining, she was very negligent and was trying to frame me for their mistake. The 4 days story turned out to be nearly a month long, but still i did not recieve my specs. I spent around 8600 rs for this! they are preaching about their quality of service but every thing is just crap!! I have been using spectacles since childhood and this is the first time I have seen such a poor service!! Before these corporates took over the spectacle business, there were small shop outlets who did fine job and delivered quality product. Now I accept that it is my mistake that I opted for Titan Eye plus. I wonder if anything could happen regarding this though I have lost faith.

                Hi, This is a very pathetic and crucial experience that I experienced from Titan Eye Centre.(Titan Eye + # NO 34/629 A2 Civil line road, Padivattom, Edapally PO, Cochin 682024 PH: [protected]) My name is Denny Varghese.I am software engineer working in TCS, Infopark, Kochi.I purchased lens from Titan Eye Centre, Padivattam Branch on 17/12/2014.The total amount I paid was 3650 rupess and I didn't get any discount even if I am a tata employee.I weared the TCS ID card on that time.At the time of purchase they said it will take 5 days to get lens and two hours for embbedding it in the current frame. AFter 4 days, when I called the shop they said it will take two more days.Since I was on chrismas holidays, I couldn't get it for next 5 days.On 31/12/2014 at about 12.30 PM I have given the spects for changing the lens and I ask will I get it after two hours.They said we will give evening 7 o'clock and the guy told he will call when it ready.Some how I agreed and I told them if not possible today I will get it tomorrow morning.They said to come morning 10 AM.I didn't get any call on that evening whether it is ready or not. Today(01/01/2015), I reached the shop 9.45 since i have urgent work at office, but they didn't open the shop upto 10.15 AM.When he opened the shop I ask about the spects, he saying to come at noon and not giving any explanations.He is calling some one and talking something.I ask the reason and updated it is not easy to come everyday from infopark to Titan Eye Centre.I got too much angry and since i have to reach office I left from there and start ride my bike.AFter some time I get a call but I couldn't take it as I am in traffic block and in hurry.After reached office I called back that number and the guy at the other end saying "This is from titan eye and your spects ready, I didnt know that it is ready'.What should I say to this??He didn't even check whether it is ready or not. At noon I get the new lens from shop and they are saying 'Ohh, you are a TCS employee, then you will get a 10% discount, why you didn't say about this'.The same they can tell at the time of purchasing right?? I am very sure that i will never do any purchases from any Titan eye Centre and never allow any of my friends or relatives to purchase from Titan eye Centre.

                  I had purchased fastrack model spectacles on 29/05/2014 from Titan eye plus, Chembur, Mumbai store. The spectacles had a replacement warranty period of 6 months. After 5 months one of the weld joints in the frame opened up and hence I claimed warranty replacement of the specs to the same store from where i purchased it. After a week or so the company representative told me that the frame is no longer in production, hence I would not get the same frame as a replacement. Instead I was told to select another frame which can match with my existing frame lenses. None of the frames in the store were found to be matching with my lenses. Hence I asked the representative to either get a replacement of the same model frame or provide new frame with new lenses. In reply the representative told that they can't provide any of them and I would have to select frame which ever available with them. Already 1 week has passed and I have still not received any confirmation reply from the company I would like to point out that if Titan gives a 6 month warranty on frame and at the same time the same frame gets discontinued within less than 5 months. How can I claim back the replacement warranty. I would like to take some strong action against the company which attracts customers with such fake replacement policies which can't be fulfilled when actual replacement needs to be done.

Seeing the awesome looking showroom in Indiranagar, bangalore I chose to give it a try and buy new spectacles from there as I was thinking for long to change my old one which I have been wearing since last 8years(it was from GKB and it still looks good and works fine). I got my eyes checked by a guy and decided to go with a frame and glass for which I paid Rs.6391.00. A girl took measurement and I was told that I will get my specs after few days. After collecting the specs I realised the frame temples are not adjusted as per my need(which is generally done and altered accordingly in other shops). So I wondered what the measurement that girl took for. And also my right eye was feeling really uncomfortable. I went back to the shop next day and was told that adjustment of the length of the temples of the frame is not possible, however little bit bending is possible. And I was told regarding the discomfort, that it will take some time to get adjusted. I believed so. After two months of pain and hoping to get adjusted with the specs I ran out of patience and went back to the shop. [By this time I found that my right glass has some area where the power changes and makes it impossible for me to see things clearly when I am looking sideways. So it was clear to me that there is something wrong with this glass while my left eye was totally comfortable.] So that day my eye power was checked by a lady again and after few hours of waiting I received my specs and they just straightened the frame which was curved abnormally before. Now at least my ears were not paining. But I still felt uncomfortable. I went back after few days and found the person who checked my power at the first time. Now this time I was sure about my wrong glass and explained it to him. He checked my power again. After few hours of waiting there I received my glass in exactly same horrible condition(curved again). I was really disappointed and expressed my concern. Now to my surprise he tried to make me believe that this is just the issue of power adjustment and nothing wrong with the glass and it always gives trouble to eyes when we look sideways and I should look straight all the time. *ARE YOU KIDDING ME??*. I have been wearing spectacles since 1999 and never had this kind of horrible experience. Not even with the cheap roadside shops. I am Bio Science graduate(imagining what can happen to ignorant people) and have the knowledge of how vision and glasses work. So thankfully I was not fooled by his manipulation and was adamant to not to leave with the specs unless my issue is solved. He then took the glass and told me it will be taken care of and will be given to me after few days. I went back after two days or so and found the lady again. After receiving the glass I found nothing has changed. But the lady told me that the glass was scrubbed to make it better. And I was requested to wear it again for a day and give my feedback. After one more painful day I thankfully received a call from the lady asking for my feedback and after knowing that I am still feeling uncomfortable she agreed to process for the replacement. After few days I received the sms that my product is ready. Now this time I get the proper glass and has been feeling comfortable from the very first moment. That is the way it should be. After asking what was the issue with the glass they finally revealed that there was some peripheral mistake in the glass! After taking so much money from customer you can't even provide a correct product and on top of that your personnel try to misguide the customer at the price of their health. Now who will pay for my painful and uncomfortable 3 months? And for the time I have wasted and got frustrated just to get correct product which I have already paid for. I am not going back to any Titan shop again and so will not my family and will advice my friends not to. Thanks & regards, Swati Sengupta

                      Spectacle edge broke off - No Repair Service, No Replacement ( 6 Months purchase time)

Now lately, i got little jerk in crowd at spectacle and one of its side arm came off from one part. I took it to Titan Eye +, Agra, Bangalore and Titan Eye +, Electronic City, Bangalore, to ask them to repair it. They said, it cannot be repaired, when i reminded its only 6 Months old, they are asking me contact...
