On Sunday 8th Oct I had ordered new SIM for prepaid connection from VI and paid INR 299 in full using online payment service. After payment made, I got sms from company confirming payment receipt and ensuring delivery of new SIM within 12 to 24 hours then. SIM delivery was expected by 9th Oct by 7 PM. On 8th Oct, 2023 I requested new prepaid connection using Vodafone Idea official website and made complete payment through online mode. In response to that company had shared sms confirming receipt of payment and ensuring delivery of new SIM within 24 hours which completed on 9th Oct, Monday at 7 PM.
Since 10th Oct, 2023 I am continuously following up with company official customer support team on phone but not getting any support....

Regarding the Fraud happended

As one the executive suggested to go and explain the issue I went and made a complaint on the same in Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore Vodafone store,
No 965 & 966, LIC, 16th B Cross Rd, next to Syndicate Bank, 2nd Stage, Yelahanka New Town, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560064. on Jan 7th 2023, a
they said, a complaint has been registered and the concerned team who gave SIM they will contact us within 48 hrs, and revisited on 13th Jan 2023; I did not get a call from them, nor from the vodafone center, I did not get the reference number for complaint raised, we did not get the resolution too.
We paid the money, but we did not get the bills for loan purposes, and on top of that they are asking us to pay the money for the SIM we did not use.
I have been asking to deactivate the SIM card, but it has not been deactivated.
Kindly help me in resolving the issue, I have attached the payment receipt.
Even after raising a complainant, the bill amount is increasing instead of providing me with the resolution. for two weeks on one has responded.
We got the false information, in order to purchase the SIM card kindly request you to ratify the amount and deactivate the SIM card, as we purchased the sim card, as it was not promised to provide the previous months bills. All already we lost paying Rs. 770/- for the sim we don't required, kindly request you to deactivate the SIM Card an please ratify the bill amount. Basically we made to purchase the SIM by the false information given by someone. I don't want to pay again as we got the injustice, where we dont require a sim, as one of the customer care executive told, it is not possible to give previous months bills.
When I raised the complaint they have not deactivated the SIM Card, but have ajusted the money I paid, Even now they want to want to charge money from me.

I have a postpaid number with Vodafone. I had activated international roaming pack of INR 149 for one month wherein it was mentioned that only incoming / outgoing calls and outgoing messages would be charged at their rates. There was no mention of charging money for receiving missed calls while outside India. During the entire international trip, I did not receive or make any calls (neither local nor international) nor did I use the mobile...

I got a notification/message that 25 rs is charged for the contakt gaming service which I haven’t applied, this is deducted without my consent and nor have I applied for any such services, I request VI to refund by balance as the same issue happened last year on September-21 and again no answer was given at that time...

Automatic game subscription on my phone:
before auto subscription I had Rs 82.77
after auto subscription main balance is Rs 8.77
that means my Rs 74 gone for no reason.

Unauthorized charges for Value Added Servies (VAS)
I'm randomly being charged for VAS like 'Games and Videos' for Rs 7, or 'Bcafe portal' for Rs. 15. vi just decides that I subscribed to it and deducts the money from my prepaid balance.

My vi number is [protected]
VI is not providing promised data speed after recharge. It is getting so bad just after 2 days of recharge that it is providing 59 kbps speed.
It is too low speed that some speed testing websites cannot be loaded on this speed. I think vodafone support services are bad too, i cannot easily complaint about it and it also forces me to update its vi app. Its app consume data too much and their own app cannot be installed in this speed.
I have list more than 3000 rs in last few month recharge, prior to that it was some what ok, now it is too bad that some time i get 0.02 kbps as speed under 4G.
I recorded the video for Speedtest. One can see how bad it is. Also, it is not device issue, it worked absolutely fine first two days after recharge and usually after two or three days later it starts creating problem and it remains same till plans over.
My current plan is 299 recharge that offer 4gb per day, you can see it shows only 300 mb is used.
I think there must be some regulations on it. If possible please send a copy of it to TRAI too.

I ported out of Vi (Vodafone Idea Limited) on September 6th 2021 to Jio postpaid, after clearing dues as on date. The last payment made was for the billing cycle 4.Aug.21 to 3.Sep.21, through UPI Google Pay at 1:56pm on 6th September vide transaction reference number[protected]. From 6th September to 25th October, no claim was raised by Vi for the 2-3 days of bill (4th, 5th & 6th September 2021). Suddenly I received a call on 26th october from the landline[protected] at 5:51pm, claiming bill of some 400 rupees, whose bill was never communicated to me. When I explained there is no official due I am aware of, they complained my current mobile operator Jio, who threatened me via text message on 27th Oct, 12:30pm, to clear an amount of Rs 417.87. Now, if Vodafone required the 3 days money, they could have normally communicated like their initial bill. Why did they wait a month without official communication and then are trying to claim an exorbitant amount ? Hope the complaint is very clear. I am reachable on [protected].

We are writing this email with so much frustration with Vodafone-idea
service and the so bad experience
We are sharing our experience:
We have send 5 to 6 mails from Apr.21 to disconnect our account

but we have not getting any reply, last month we have visited
to VI office also but they told us your account is blocked, we are
unable to do anything from our side send mail to

We used Idea Corporate account in our company from last 9 years but from last year we faced many issues related to speed & network form Vi, ( It is because of Vodafone-idea Merged) we have taken follow-up with customer care executive but no improvement.
As a rapidly growing establishment, we always required fast & stable
mobile network hence we decided to change the Vi service. We
communicated to Vi NIBM road Pune office executive Ms. Padma regarding the same & send mail to stop the service (mail on 24.03.2021)
We had in touch with Ms. Padma because she was our RM, Also we have
paid bill for April 2021
After that Ms. Padma had not responding to our phone calls. When we
visit to NIBM office they told that Ms. Padma has left the job & they
don't have any correspondence regarding the issue.
We continuously sending request mail regarding account disconnection
& NOC for the same on dated 15th May, 16th June 26th June, 16th July

Activation Request of my number 8080624528
I would like to share my plight with Vodafone with huge pains that I'm chasing them every day. I was in Airtel postpaid and ported in Vodafone somewhere in June as prepaid customer. Since I was a postpaid customer there was some outstanding pending with my previous operator Airtel due to which my number was disconnected on 14th November 2020.
I immediately wend to Airtel store and made the payment to them in order to activate my number. I submitted the payment receipt to Vodafone, inspite of that my number was not activated.
I have been sending emails since long time but I'm not getting any resolution. The trail of emails are quite evident. I visited Vodafone store in Chandivali Andheri East, according to them my number is not with Vodafone. This is my very old number and is registered with Aadhar, PAN, Banks and EPFO office. I am indeed in trouble because of this reason as I'm not getting OTP.
I have some hope with you that I will be able to get my number again. My alternate number is [protected].

Internet connectivity and speed problems

I am a idea user from Jabalpur, M.P. This complaint is being made about the speed and connectivity issues I am facing with the idea mobile data facility. Data speed is slow for most part of the day, even though it is an area with good mobile towers and adequate whether. Internet speed is mostly at 'E' and rarely turns 'H or H+'. Kindly look into the matter to provide proper speed else the user is compelled to switch to better service providers.

22nd Feb all of a sudden I'm seeing an SMS from VI mentioning that my prepaid balance is deducted with Rs. 20 for songs which I have not even selected this is the second instance I'm facing with Vodafone where without my concern caller tune is activated in my number and simply my balance is deducted.

I ordered a prepaid SIM through the official website of the VI company online . Order No. DCHD[protected], scheduled Delivery on 14 JAN 2021. The customer rep has visited my home, taken all required docs including Photograph, Dob, Address, ID proof and the OTP.
But he refused to provide the numbered SIM for which I had booked.

OTP received for the above number.
However the person refused to provide the correct SIM
It could be a case of manipulation of SIM. He might give it to some one else with my id.
A complaint was registered through the customer care email id of VI. But the customer care reps refused to entertain the complaint.
It appears that the websete of the VI company is fake.
But he refused to provide the numbered SIM for which I had booked.

OTP received for the above number.

I Have been using my prepaid number mostly for important purpose and i dont need services like caller tune, data services and video search for 7 days. for your kind information vodafone has subscribed me for this services after the merger of idea with vodafone. for last two recharges they have made deduction of almost 200 rupee and the app is not providing any details of the deduction or charges. 3 deductions are made and can be 4, because they dont provide any record. My phone number is [protected] and i have another active number which i use for routine purposes. This kinda ghost charges were initially deducted by idea when i had idea number, so i switched to vodafone, after the merger, a rotten mango has infected vodafone too, it is not business it is fraud. i want back the money they have deducted from my talk time for Caller tone, Data pack value added and Video search for 7 days which i have not in any way subscribe or requested for in past 6month to 1 year.

I am filing this complaint for my mother. She is an ordinary house wife who only know how to dial the number and calling. She don't know how to use other mobile features such as checking sms/email, selecting number from contacts etc.
On 14/11/2020, Caller Tunes VAS service is activated without our concern and deducted Rs.66 from the account. We don't even noticed the incident on the same day. While checking the SMS, we had noticed the SMS from vi care. We had complained the issue to Vi Care. First times we had complained through Vi website. Thereafter we call their 198 complaint customer care number and again repeat the issues, at that time the executive told that due to the issue of the tower located in my place. This issue occurred and they had fixed the issue. But till now even deducted amount is not credited and VAS service is not unsubscribed by them. Today also i call them and follow upped the issue, at that time rude customer care agent told that deducted amount can't able be credit to my account. I told them that the previous time your executive told that its the issue with your tower, then why we have to afford your technical issues. The rude customer care agent told that its not their tower issue, its not activated automatically. Then who i blame. This same issue happened to my (Jishnu S) mobile number ([protected]) too in today. I had called customer care and made complaint. Both complaint numbers will be listed below. I've made a recharge of Rs 149/- instead of Rs 449/- by mistake on October28, 2020.
Within 20 minutes I contacted customer care and their reply was, "That we can't do anything regarding this, you've got the benefits of Rs 149/-."
My last two recharges were also of Rs 449/- and this time also I was making a recharge of Rs 449/-.
It's been five days I've not got any positive response from your side.
After a long conversation with each and every person who contacted me on my concerned number, I've decided to PORT my number after that, I started getting many calls and messages regarding different offers and also requesting to not to port.
In Rs 149/- I got:
* Unlimited calls
* 300 SMS
* 2Gb + 1Gb Data
for 28 days, after filing a porting request you're giving me an offer to recharge again with Rs 149/- to get extra 1Gb/day. (After which my total recharge value becomes Rs 298/- and validity becomes 56 days.) Which doesn't sound logical to me, and I hope you'll understand this concern.
I'm a student and requires data to attend my online classes, and it's already been five-day loss to me.
I request you to do the best and possible as soon as possible (till today evening, so that I can complete my PORT procedure and make an FRC of new number), else I'm bound to PORT my number, because tomorrow is Monday and I can't bear this much of loss.
I'm ready to pay the difference amount of Rs300/- to get the benefits of Rs 449/-, consider this while resolving the complaint.

I assure you that if the recharge amount has been debited from your account, the credit will be applied within 7 working days. ")
But,
Customer care not able to resolve my issue and if am calling to Customer Care they are talking very rude and disconnecting my call.
Can you please help to resolve this issue.

Cheated for retaining clients
I had applied port request for my mobile no # [protected] and decided not to continue with vi due to their pathetic network and services. I continuously got call from customer care and tried to convience me to continue with vi. I had been offered lowest rental plan of 199 and given 200gb data for 6months. But i got to know when i visited application that plan has been changed to 299 instead of 199 as committed by mr preet [protected] from nodal office. Kindly take this as serious matter and take necessary steps against them as they don't deserve to be in india.

sms scam and looting money by idea
I am having a vodafone prepaid connection and scam sms in the name of idea are sent to my mobile number and amount is deducted from the main balance. When inquired with the vodafone customer care they said all the vas services are blacklisted and amount is being deducted by the third party content. The highlight of this looting is the messages are sent from idea which is part of the vodafone idea limited company and they are saying it as third party. When asked to block these sms they are saying its not possible.

Dear sir,
My self Mahendra Palsaniya.
My idea sim card is not showing any network for last 5 days.
I tried to solve this problem by restarting the phone, reinserting the sim, changing the phone and even changed the sim card 2 times as well from idea / vodaphone store.
On checking with customer care, they say that sim card has active .but my sim card on sow emergancy calls only .this is my official no. Also due to this i had loss 15000 rupees last 5 day.
