I have a NRE account in Canara Bank, Bank road branch, IFSC code CNRB0001658, gorakhpur, up.This branch is 7 km far from my house, sometimes it takes about half of my day while visiting the bank.Near my house is located a Canara Bank branch, prabha complex, plot no. 6, khajanchi chauraha, medical college road, IFSC code CNRB0005118, gorakhpur, up, which is around 200 m from my house.

To tranfer my account i gave an application to the branch manager of bank road branch, he rejected my apllication on the 10 day saying that swapping of branches does not occur in same city.whereas according to the account transfer rule swapping of branches is possible in same city.I have attached the photo of the application rejected by the banch Manager is below.

Therefore, i humbly request you to give order to the bank road branch of canara bank, gorakhpur, up, to transfer my account to prabha compex branch, khajanchi chauraha, medical college road.

Dear Sir/ Madam
On 01/03/2017 I made a transaction in Canara Empower UPI app of rupees 20, 000 but it failed so I made another transaction and it was successful. But problem is my amount has been deducted for two times (Rs 20, 000 + Rs 20, 000) including for failed transaction also and its almost 6 days completed but my amount Rs 20, 000/- not yet credited in my account. I kindly request you to please check what is the problem and solve this issue.

I went to my canara bank branch to put the amount in my PPF account for tax saving purpose. Usuallly i will do it through bank only. I will put it in my account and will transfert to my PPF account. So, I asked the guy who is in charge and he told me to do online because he doen't know how to do it. So, I went to online to put money in PPFF and my account got locked for some reason. So, i went to bank and update my account mobile number. Then i called the customer care for unlocking. They told me that you have to update your net banking mobile number, its only reflected for account and your PPF is not liked with your account. I am not at my home down to go to the branch and check every time. I want to submit the proof for tax submit in my company. Please help me ASAP.

My name is ANJANA LAXMI and my account number is[protected], CANARA BANK THENI Branch. I have returned a product in Amazon for Rs 474 and They mentioned that my refund of amount Rs 434 has been initiated on 25 Feb 2017 and it will be credited to my Account on March 1, 2017. Till now (06 March 2017), I didn't get my refund to my account. I have received a refund reference number and transaction code through mail. These are the messages received from amazon.

I have already contacted Canara bank customer care to solve this issue but there is no use. Please resolve it and credit my refund into my account.

I nishant kumar bearing saving a/c[protected] in your Bokaro steel city naya more branch has registered complaint regarding deduction twice for the same transaction. As i have registered complain no-1617AC5891 on 17th feb, 2017 but amount has been not refunded yet. The customer care are speaking different things at different time, sometimes they say to wait for 45 days and sometimes they say that it has been sent to CCR package and now canara bank bokaro naya more branch will solve this issue. I am really frustrated from the customer care services and till yet there is no response from bokaro branch also and on complaint redressal mechanism, the current status is showing that the issue has been resolved and closed.They are denying to refer my call to head officer, and bokaro branch has not replied anything on this issue. Is this the way to deal with your customers? I request you therefore to refund the amount of ₹1644 which has been debited twice on 14/02/2017 and solve this issue as soon as possible.

Dear PM,

We got an educational loan of amount Rs.54, 500(Fifty four thousand and five hundred) for the year[protected], and Rs.54, 500(Fifty four thousand and five hundred) for the year[protected]. My son was studying B.Tech(IT), in the college-Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College, Chennai. I was unable to support financially to him because I was working in my home as a tailor and I will get some Rs.200 per day, and also my husband was not working due to Eye problem and my son also didn’t get job for his education. Even though I have a complexities I have paid around Rs.85, 000 of Principal amount till last month. But they have sent application form to avail loan reimbursement from bank to get the Thasildar’s signature, 26.4.2014 once you came into the rule. As per your announcement below:
For Loans granted prior to 1.4.2009

In Feb 2014, Shri P Chidambaram (then Finance Minister) announced in the Parliament that Government would reimburse 100% of the interest outstanding as on 31.12.2013. Canara Bank was appointed as Nodal Bank to pool the data. Interest component on all eligible loans outstanding as on 31.12.2013 were paid by the Government to the Banks and credited to the loan accounts.

In this scheme, the students who availed loan prior to 1.4.2009 and who paid the interest regularly were in a disadvantageous position. Since interest component was either nil or negligible, they did not get any benefit of the interest subsidy. Similarly the students who closed the education loan account before 31.12.2013 were also not eligible to get interest subsidy.

Now this scheme is closed. Now the students cannot claim any interest subsidy under this scheme. We are writing this only for information.
We also got signature from Thasildar and went to meet the Bank Manager, but he refused to accept that application form, and he suggested to pay principal amount and said we can think about the interest after sometime. And again I went to bank on 12.3.2016, to meet manager, settled the amount Rs.5000 through cheque no. 505499(Indian Bank), and also submitted the letter to request him about the details of Principal amount to be paid, and interest amount to deduct as per your announcement. But they refused to give the details and they are forcing me to pay the interest even though you have announced that Government will reimburse the 100% interest amount. You are supporting to reduce the burden of students but employees in the bank are forcing us to pay interest. Please take a required action to get this resolved.

i applied for a new debit card around a month ago but i did not received even any confirmation sms yet.
I tried to ask the same at customer care centre but those people are not giving any response that whether the debit card is issued or not.
I also visited the branch Rajinder nagar sahibabad, but they are also not giving any response to me.
This is not the way to treat a customer.
They should atleast inform me whether the debit card is issued or not.

I have failed despite multiple personal visits to the bank near bda complex, indiranagar branch, indiranagar to consolidate my properitorship concern and my individual accounts to a single costumer id so that i can mobile banking.

They are giving me different information all the time. On friday, the 24th of 2017 i was told it was done. Now i am told it is not! This has become a joke!

Hello Canara Bank care dept.,

My purpose to send you this email is regarding the poor service of Paytm. I had paid my electricity bill through paytm on 24.2.17 at 10.16 pm of rs. 380 where amount is deducted from my bank account but the payment is still pending it says transaction failed my mob no. [protected]. Please contact me as soon as possible.

canara bank manager, sira branch, not supporting for education lone.sir we have to apply education lone, but manager telling like we dont give education lone, this incident happened on 27/02/2017, but we need financial assistance and we have full documents for this process.and i have video proof but it is not in convenient to send you, please take action him.

Iam working in TNEB HQ in Chennai. We have a canara bank branch in our office complex. The canara Bank staff in this branch do not provide the required service to the staff of TNEB. Instead they treat the staff in a very bad manner. They are very harsh and for no reason they make us come again and again for receopt of cheque book or pass book. The way they behaved during the time of demonitisation was very attrocious. They have no rights to insult the TNEB staff in any way. Particularly one old person always
shouting at our staff and officers. Kindly take appropriate action to provide a bettter service and suitable persons who are customer friendly may be posted in this branch

1, applied for swipe machine in November 16 but still waiting

2, issued 1000/- chq got deducted 10000/- but didn't get any refunds back

3, pre deposited chq getting passed n some dated chq getting bounced

4, internet banking always give problems

5, no proper customer service advisor to help on any desk

6, few more but will update later, let the previous complaints get resolved

This is about the ATM run by your bank in Chennai ... None of them are maintained properly... or pleasing to the eyes of your valuable customers...
1. position of your screen is such that it reflects the light from the doorway making it difficult to read the screen.
2. The entire kiosk is littered by our Indian public...no periodic cleaning in force... You may please do away with printing receipts or make it optional...
