we came in this prepaid taxi from mumbai domestic airport in which our camera fell .

    This is to bring to the notice of everyone that a reputed company like CANON can actually sell defective camera's and run service centres that not only can't solve your problem but also ruin your camera. That too, really expensive ones.
    I guess everyone knows the value of a Canon EOS 5D mark-ll Dslr kit.
    after a lot of researching, and being a customer of Canon for the last 8 years, we decided to go in for THIS camera.. the EOS 5D MARK ll

    My father bought this camera for professional use, from a store called the People's Camera Company at Colaba, Mumbai.
    Who would even guess that the camera sold to us would be defective ?

    I continuously started getting this error 20 on my camera screen within a few days after i started using the camera, which didn't allow me to take any pictures.

    So when I gave it to the Canon repair centre at Andheri in Mumbai, they took a week saying they'd set it right.
    The camera seemed fine for a couple of pictures after the repair, after which the error 20 started coming up again ! That was the shocking part. What repair really happened, I wonder.
    First of, there's a manufacturing defect, and then they couldn't even repair it. Pathetic, coming from Canon !
    Then the error 20 continued on and of[censored]npredictably, for the last few months i haven't got the error, i don't know when it's going to pop up again !

    One terrible thing I realised after giving the Camera for repair to the Official Canon service centre was that, my AUTOFOCUS is not working on the live view mode and video-shooting, ever since !

    When a friend of mine who is helping me out with this happened to call up the Canon service centre regarding these manufacturing defects , they replied saying they don't replace products. So what exactly do they expect us to do with the defective products they sell us ? Keep it with us and not bother about it. Shocking !
    It definitely isn't trustworthy to give a camera like that to their service centre again, lest they create more trouble and ruin my expensive camera again.

    I am forced to believe now that Canon is among those companies that actually sell really expensive products with manufacturing defects, and have inefficient service centres that are not only incapable of solving the problems with their products, but also spoil the products we trust them with.
    This has by far been the biggest fraud I have experienced. Canon

    i also get cheated by canon i brought a canon powershot sx 120 is which get complaint after 3 months o[censored]se then i got it repaired at canon asf but later after 10 months again this got board complaint now the canon asf is quoting rs 5600 so i left canon and brought a new Nikon camera i am very much satisfied with my new Nikon i wont buy an canon products nor recommend any one to buy any product of this nasty company

      i have pur. canon copy/scanner mf 4412 on 11.01.2012 and i called customer care twicly regarding the tonner .then mr. kuljeet singh came for observing/servicing my printer and he checked & opened every part of the tonner .After that he said now u can use it .its ok..but in the mean while say month of may 2012 again i was having the same problem (having black straight lininng on the plain or printed paper).so i called again to the care centre for service and this time he said that the tonner is already refilled & every part of the tonner is open .so we cannt help u to sought out your problem of printer ..Now wht i have to do ? with canon!...i invested my preciious money on that kind of product from company like canon who dont have a sense of loyalty & durability with products and its self...
      sorry for submiting that kind of comment because i wasted my money
      even i didnt refill any kind of tonner from the dateof 11.1.2012-till date 19.09.2012..

          I have purchased Cannon Printer MP258 with serial no. LBTB90652 in August ( order ref no. [protected]) through Star CJ and during the ordering time there was a promotional offer of Giordano watch with every PIXMA all in one printer. I have registered my serial no of printer on their website and I got a SMS that the watch will be delivered within 45 days. But as on date I have not received the same. STAR CJ says that the offer was from cannon and they are not responsible for the same. But we have purchased the printer, keeping faith in the Channel.

            I had purchased a Canon A460 digital camera which developed some problem with its CCD just before its warranty period expiry date so I got it repaired it free of cost but then within 7 months it developed same problem and as CCD is an expensive part I didn't give it for repair. But now I require it for my sister's marriage and it has been more than a month since I have given it for repair. They promised to repair it within one week but it has been above one month. Now they are not going to repair it on time and I wont be able to use it for the marriage. Even if I ask them to not to repair it, they will charge me servicing amount and tax on it. I am in a fix. What should I do. They don't respond to my calls too.

              The Canon Printer Model No. L 11121E LBP 2900 purchased from M/s Lotus Computers, Faridabad against B.No. 1795 dated 07.08.2009 is making noise which printing. Infact this grievance was registered with the dealer two months back who took the machine to be attended by company's representative but no folly could be detected. In order to register my grievance telephone number[protected] was provided by the dealer but it is not working.

                I have purchase the canon printer PIXMA MP287 in june which has some issue related to printing heads.
                I have registered the complaint in last week of July (Complaint No :378305). Canon engineer called me sevaral times but each time he failed to visti my home to see the issue. I have called him several times but he didn't picking up the phone also. Engineer Name is Arun :
                91 [protected]. This is giving me mental tension as its affecting my work.

                  Our office is Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat, Manjeshwar, Kasaragod District, Kerala, India 671323. We bought a canon copier in 2008 (Model iR2018N). After the completion of guarrenty period it started to problem to us like paper jam. 10 months ago we replaced machine part of section & film assembly costs of Rs.30000/-. Now again replaced the film assembly in cost of Rs. 9500/-. But the copier is not working the problem is same as earliar. The canon technician from Kannur is came three times to repair the machine. But not suceed to correct the copier. The technicial simply comes and goes. Our office is one of the busiest Panchayat in Kerala. We taking daily hundreds of copies. Now we are in very big trouble. The canon Kannur dealers are not servicing satisfactorily. Hence you are requested to to take action to repair the copier urgently. Otherwise we report the matter to the News Paper & other T V Channels. If we do like you may loss your costumers from attracting. I hope that you may take this matter is very serious one.                     Mai sudipta pal canon power shot2300 camera kharidha tha apka tarkeswar ka ak dilarship ki tarap sa
                    Mera kuch problem tha camera mai magar jab mai apka dilar ka pass gaya to oh hum logo ki problem thik sa suna tak nahi upar sa hum logo ka sath bohthi bura bartap kiya. Apka dilar ne kaha ka meri camera mai kuch problem nahi hai. Thik hai magar ye bath achi tarikka sa bhi bol sakti thi lakin apka dilar bola ka agar mai pahla sa janta to aap logo ko kabhi camera bachta nahi. Apka dilar ka kaya aisa bartap hai?
                    my brother-Vikas Drall ([protected], [protected])ordered a Canon 4-in one printer through starcj.we have got the order but for getting logitech speakers along with the printer as per the scheme, we had to register with canon website.but we faced some problems in the same.also, no time limit for the registration was mentioned to us through any means.even the customer care number ([protected])was not in use, not even today.i got a new number and Mr. Khalid told me that now i can not register for the said speakers.even star cj customer care told me that the abovementioned canon customer care no. is not responding...it has been whole day i am facing problems and nobody is interested enough to entertain me...it will leave me with a negative impression for Canon as well as Starcj...what should i do to get my Logitech speakers...pls let me know at earliest...

                        canon battery — bad battery

                        I ordered 2 canon batterys BP-2L14 One of them won't take a charge. The other is fine. When I put it in the charger the light that shows it is chargeing doesn't come on. I compared the 2 with a multi meter and the good one reads 8.49 volts the bad one reads 0.00 I think that the connections inside the battery aren't connected to the external contats points. How do I go about getting a replacment.

I asked courier guy but they did not reply me....

                              My Printer ( CANON SELPHY CP 780) worked very efficiently for 4 months after which it showed two lines on the photo which was horrible . I took to the same shop and as it was within warranty, they suggested me to leave machine there for lookout.Now, after near about seven months passed there is no sign of the printer. whenever I visit or call for enquiry , they say its in process.
                              My decision of going with a product of a reputed company (CANON) proved sorry about myself.It was so urgent for me that I even told them that I am ready to pay the price for repair if it does not come under warranty but very sorry to say.

                              first of all lets put things into prespective.
                              1. Check out your invoice copy for date of purchase of the printer.
                              2. Check out the date of receipt when you brought the printer to us for repairs.

                              Taking into things the above two things it clearly shows that your printer was not under warranty when u brought the same to us for repairs.


                              it clearly shows that you had brought the printer for repairs after 8 months of purchase whilr the printer carried a warrany of 6 months.

                              The printer model no selphy cp 780 was discontinued from the company and no service was provided the the same from the service centre.
                              you can check that our from the canon service centre M/S Shubham Computers, Bidhan Road, Siliguri.

                              we request you to kindly remove the said commments from this forum or else strict legal action will be taken against you for defaming us

                                I HAVE CANON PRINTER MODEL NUMBER MF4350D, FOR WHICH I HAD COMPLAINED IN CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER [protected] ON 15.03.2011 IN EVENING. I WAS IMFORMED MY COMPAINT NUMBER AS 316609. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE TECHNICAL PERSON WOULD CALL WITHIN 4 HOURS.
                                ON 16.03.2011 AT 10.35AM I AGAIN CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE WHERE MR SURENDRA SITTING IN SOME DELHI OFFICE PICKED UP THE PHONE AND AGAIN ON MY SAME REQUEST HE INFORMED ME THAT THE PERSON WOULD COME BEFORE 1.30PM . AFTER MANY REMINDERS CANON CUSTOMER CARE IS NOT RESPONDING.

                                Our office is Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat, Manjeshwar, Kasaragod District, Kerala, India 671323. We bought a canon copier in 2008 (Model iR2018N). After the completion of guarrenty period it started to problem to us like paper jam. 10 months ago we replaced machine part of section & film assembly costs of Rs.30000/-. Now again replaced the film assembly in cost of Rs. 9500/-. But the copier is not working the problem is same as earliar. The canon technician from Kannur is came three times to repair the machine. But not suceed to correct the copier. The technicial simply comes and goes. Our office is one of the busiest Panchayat in Kerala. We taking daily hundreds of copies. Now we are in very big trouble. The canon Kannur dealers are not servicing satisfactorily. Hence you are requested to to take action to repair the copier urgently. Otherwise we report the matter to the News Paper & other T V Channels. If we do like you may loss your costumers from attracting. I hope that you may take this matter is very serious one.

                                  I have found damage of my camera’s battery cover lock not work properly so I visited to your customer service center located in Chandigarh with my warranty card and purchase bill.
                                  They examine the camera and say some part of lock was broken so we have to change with new cover and that will be a chargeable and amount is near about 570/- Indian Rs. on one week.
                                  My problem is camera is in warranty period and they claim a charge for repairing.
                                  I ask them after change of cover this type of problem is coming or not.
                                  They give answer that this is the plastic item so we cannot give any guaranty.
                                  That means your quality of this camera is poor?
                                  So I request you to repair my camera in warranty period and don’t claim any charges to me

                                    We have purchased the canon Xerox machine No. IRC 2570 in 2006 considering your name Globally of Rs. 3, 50,000/- till today we are not satisfied with machine we are not getting required results the life of spare part and your service provide in Mumbai is very poor.
                                    Sir please look in the matter & give us instant relief from the headaxe, we are fade up with product. Faxtonicks is the only service provide for us & doing maintenances contract.
                                    We Beg at least give our money back with interest or replace existing machine .we will be able to use for architect office.

                                        karachi techno city service center did not repair the printer during in warranty period. and they said there is no warranty of head. they kept printer 2 week in their hand. our invoice has lost but they told we will repair without it.. now they saying we can not repair that. if you cant repair so please do not cheat the people. we lost our time and money also. we went there 3 time...........
