In the paragraph section in 2.2 we had to write the meaning similar to that of "endurance", "motivation", and "obstacles"

We had to attempt only two parts. I attempted motivation and obstacles as i didn't know the meaning of endurance.

But there was no word similar to those two in the para given. However in the next para, we found a word similar to that.

I'm assuming that cbse by mistake misplaced the paragraph numbers.

Please get this fix or give us grace marks as 2 marks is a lot.

Sir english question paper mistake no. 11 no or option between the question so i thought that we should write both so but first one is not in portion but no or option so i wrote both a and b my b is correct i should get the mark sir it is 10 mark very important my grade change i am from poor family i should get 10 cgpa then only i can get scholarship plz sir provide mark to question 11 who wrote both which is correct we can get the mark for that

Question 2.3- words to be found were not in the paragraph told. Paragraph 4 according to the word meaning obstruction given was only a one line paragraph with obstacle. Many have skipped that line and marked para 4 as the next one
Question 11 (A) - out of syllabus. We have done only novel "the story of my life hellen keller" but the question was from another novel which we have not done.

Today most of the students are complaining about question no 2.3 synonyms. Ok well the paragraph numbering were wrong but students who wrote wrong thing should be given directly a big zero. Moreover the 5 th para can be considered as continuation of 4th. It can be considered as a good thing that cbse has done. It tested the students whether they will write a wrong thing or not. Moreover the meaning were directly in the next paras. It is not the mistake of cbse it is the mistake of some unprepared students.
Thank you hope cbse will give marks only who deserve not to those who will write a wrong thing and shout.

I am a student of D.C.Model Sr. Sec. School, Ferozepur Cantt. Today[protected] was our english exam of class X. But there were some problems in the question paper . In question number 2.3 the correct paragraph number was not given and in the last question Q-11 that was of novel in that correction choice was not given. 'A' part of 'Q-11' was out of syllabus and it appeared as if the question was misprinted or choice was not given correctly. I request you to please consider these problems and think over it. I will be very thankful to you.

Question 2 paragraph reading was having 6 paras instead of five. Answer of 2.3 (B) was in para 5 instead of para 4 as mentioned in question. Similary, answer of question 2.3 (C) was in para 6 instead of para 5 as mentioned in question. Para 1, "everybody... Popular". Para 2, "all great... Their goals". Para 3, "success has... To success". Para 4, "one should... Of success". Para 5, "one needs... Of success". Para 6, "hard labour... Be motivated". Therefore, it is required to give 2 number to all candidates as the mistake was on the part of paper setter/printing press for giving confusing para numbers. Also request to give suitable grace marks for time wastage.

Today (10-march-2018) was are english test. Our question paper set is 2 and code no. Is 1/2. There was a wrong question in section-a-reading. Question no. Is 1.3, (A). It said to find a word related to endurance in paragraph 2. But there is no word related to it. We crosschecked with many teachers and are very sure that the question is wrong. Morever the paragraph numbering was given wrong in the question. There are innumerable children complaining about this. So we humbly request you to see the problem and take the necessary action. We are the students of jaipur, rajasthan.

In question no. 1.3 of set no. 2, code 1/2, series :tym there was a bit confusion. It is given that the word meaning of word is given in para 2 but it was not there. So plz help us. So many students have this problem. I wasted much time for finding that word but i didn't found because it was not in the paragraph. Please check it. Thank you

Option (B) of question 1.3 (English comm. Question paper set-2) asked for the synonym of the word "obstruction". The paragraph number in the question was incorrect. The correct answer to this question was in paragraph (3) however, the question insisted it to be in paragraph (4).

The same mistake of wrong paragraph number is there with option (C) of the same question.

The question states "identify and explain the principles and the technique of scientific management" which suggested to identify the principle of scientific management, but on reading the question we could not find any concept of scientific management but found out fayols' principles which wasnt included in the question. Our teachers on deep understanding of the question told the meaning as follows:
Indentify the principle. And also the technique of scientific management.
The full stop had changed the complete meaning and interpretation of the question.
This was very misleading. I would request CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION to look into this matter and help students to get fair marks.

I would like to put to your notice that there was a an error in Q2, Set-1, code 1/1 English Question Paper Class-X...The paragraph was noṭ rightly marked and it caused problem to a lot of students...The synonym for the given words was noṭ present in the given paragraph number and thus many student have answered wrong...I hope that you would look forward to this problem at the earliest.

There was a mistake in the question paper set-1, section-a q (2.3). We were asked to find the meaning of the words from the paragraph given but firstly the paragraph were not numbered and secondly the para no. Given to find the answer were also wrong.
You are requested to go through the problem. This created confusion for many students during the paper.

Today the students of tenth standard gave their english board exam. The third part of second question (Q. 2.3) of the reading section was completely incorrect. We had to find words similar to those in given paragraph but the numbering of paragraphs was wrong. We have tried our best to locate the words in given paragraphs but some students have gone against the one mentioned in the question paper. Will our marks gey reduced merely because we follwed the rules? This is shameful and students who are planning to go on the language and humanities side cannot afford to lose marks in english. The instructions should be very clear. Every student who attempted the question should get full marks. Please don't make us regret our decision of following instructions.

Sir/madam in english question paper of class 10 the question no.11 had two options a and b which were of two different novels. According to information by cbse we are study only one novel.. Now the question demand for two answers kindly help us.. I have attempted both the questions will i get marks for the option first attempted it's a matter of 10 marks

The cbse gave us questions from 2 different nowels from which we had to do only 1 also in the question it was nowhere mentioned that we had to to 1 out of both the questions for the students who have done both please grant the marks only for the write novel

This complaint is about the current topic
*leakage of paper* as business studies paper has been leaked. This has a very bad impact on the students who were doing everything with their own hardwork
It is neccassary this time to reconduct the paper otherwise many students will start protesting about it soo plss and its urgent to start protesting about it

I am writing this complaint in extension to my facebook post on 9th march, 2018 about the leakeage of class 12th cbse board exam of business studies.
This complaint is not against cbse but for them, so that they can take a strict action.
I don’t want even a single undeserving student score more marks than a deserving and hardworking student who has put in all the efforts all over the year.
This is unfair against the hardworking students and teachers who also have put in their best efforts throughout the year.
Undeserving students scoring more marks will mean that they will grab the seats of the deserving students in reputed colleges and more students scoring more marks by unfair means will also lead to inflated cut-off lists making it more difficult for the deserving and hardworking students to make it through.
I have raised my voice against this as i want to strip off the unfair advantage which many students got on the morning of the exam.
I don’t want any student to suffer and feel pressurised as they already have a lot of pressure of doing well in their board exams, thus, i won’t take any names.
But the main issue is that this has happened and asks for justice, also, to prevent it from happening in the future.
Students are already afraid of appearing for the exams and thus, if provided with the opportunity they try to cheat because of people who are making this happen for them.
The students are naive, this action should not be taken against them, instead it should be taken against the people who are clicking the pictures by opening the seal before time. Cbse should not be blamed, some officials from the board centers should be.
I demand for a re-test along with hundreds of students and teachers who have approached me to provide them with justice, i cannot provide justice, i can only ask for it.
I know that the students who gave their best for this exam and have done well will feel that why should they suffer, but i hope they become selfless and think of their friends and other students as well who are feeling cheated.
I am attaching all the photos which i have got as evidence. Please consider the fact that this mishap happened, don’t just focus on why i have blurred the names, as the people who have leaked the paper can bring them harm.

This is to draw attention of concerned authorities towards this serious issue. As it is shameful for all us that cbse board examination question papers were leaked. Question papers of physics examination held on 7th march 2018 and business studies examination held on 9th march2018 were leaked.. Many students bought the question papers beforehand to be benefitted by paying money. By this, undeserving students would score better who are actually to be punished for this offence and students who worked hard whole year long would lag behind these cheaters and all their efforts will go in vain..
Also education officers indulged in this scheme should not be left out who are spoiling whole system.
Respective examinations should be re-conducted and an action should be taken against culprits!

Hoping for a solution from your side

It's evident to notice that business studies exam of class 12th that was held on 9th of march 2018 was leaked before the examination. Many a students knew about the questions beforehand. Therefore leading to adulteration in the very statute of the exam. It's my humble request to you that the exam be held again to undo such devil and for the justice to be served.

2018 physics +2 board exam was very tricky and twisted. It is quite unfair that pupils should have the same intelligent capacity of those who prepare the questions. They have to come to the perception and thought process of a student. Students are now very anxious about coming exams. Pl make a statement that physics exam will be take care of, to allay their fears, and prepare well for forthcoming exams.
