Question number 17, answer given is incorrect. According to answer key, option a is given as correct, although there are many mistakes in option a and option d would be the more appropriate answer. The graph given in figure 1 is of number o[censored]sers, not addiction and option a assumes that every person who uses a social media platform is addicted to it, which is a very wrong inference. Furthermore, option a states that "More than 50% of people are addicted to Facebook and YouTube" which is incorrect in one more way as even if we assume that every person who uses the platform is addicted to it, which in itself is incorrect, we cannot say that more than 50% of people are addicted to Facebook and YouTube since that would mean that they are addicted to both the platforms. More than 50% of people are addicted to either Facebook or YouTube would still be a more acceptable statement. These are general English conventions that every one is aware of. Option d cannot be proven incorrect in anyway, since it just says that "many people linkedin to Instagram" which, looking at the graph is a perfectly valid statement since 6% can still be counted under many. As proven by the following example, let's consider 10 people like maths and 20 people like English. Many people prefer maths to English remains a valid statement here and nothing is wrong with it, since the 10 people are still many. CBSE must correct the answer key and give option D as the correct answer for Question number 17 of Question paper set 001/1/4 of subject ENGLISH CORE:301 on the basis of the above reasoning. If they don't change the answer, it just shows that because the english reasoning skills of CBSE are not adequate enough, students with the correct answer are having to suffer.

    Sir/Ma'am,
I am Aditya Jain of class 12th from Indore. Yesterday was my Term-I English exam and in that there was a wrong question/printing mistake in one of the unseen passage(Passage No.2 Question No. 13) and the question related to that passage has the wrong option. After that the CBSE Answer sheet came out and it had the wrong option selected, So, it would be really humble of you if you can check that and help some o[censored]s.

    Thank you

2 nd must be c as the question uses the word then in second statement
        13 must be b
        21 must be a
        24 must not be b
57 must be a as the young men don't take any initiative as their elders
        47 must be b
        18 must be d

In today's ENGLISH board exam, the difficulty of question paper is high and it is not at all analyzed or given a fare chance for every student (question paper code is 01/01/004).As its first time for the board to conduct questionnaire based on MCQS, it's really unacceptable for this much difficulty, So that i request the board to accept my complaint and take proper actions regarding this.

In question paper set 001/1/4, Question number 40 has 2 options as the correct answer.
"an army of *barefoot boys* who appear *like* morning birds" has both simile and alliteration as the poetic device. Kindly do the needful
At last found someone who has talked about it. Even I too agree that 2 answers r possible for that ques. Marks should be awarded for both the answers as neglecting one would not be a fair measure

There are a few mistakes in the answer key that were received from the CBSE board in the set 4 English core paper. Answer keys of questions No 13, 18, 56 and 59 should be reviewed. And the difficulty level of the questions are too high

Its urgent to bring in your kind notice that my ward Appeared for Science class 10th exam in your assigned center at Euro international School ( School no. 40343, Centre no.827213) where a lot of Irregularalities were seen as candidates were given a poor quality paper as printing was as light and was not easy to read. Above all the question paper was distributed 20 mins late and collected at prescribed time leaving students disappointed. It is highly objectionable that such negligency is seen and action is taken. Please ensure quick and timely action to avoid repeat of this.
                Thanks

This is to bring to your kind notice that there are few concerns in class XII English Core Question Paper which was conducted today, 3 December, 2021 .

Kindly find the students’ concern below :

                    1. Question no 13 option (i ) mentions : Air pollution kills 4.6 million people every year in India . However the unseen passage gives statistics about a global issue and not India . Hence the answer in the key (c) is not correct
                    2. Question no 18 has a spelling mistake of ‘ aggravates ‘ in the question ; also it shows option ‘c’ as the most suitable answer, as per the comprehension (b) is correct .

                    3. Question no 24 has the option of the title of an article in the format of a question- which again is incorrect . The correct option is ‘c’
                    4. Question 56 is not appropriately framed as it refers to the underlined phrase, however the phrase is NOT underlined in the referred question .

                    Thanks a lot

This is a request to kindly look into question 13 of English Core term 1 set 4 (001/2/4) 2021 examination. The question is :
                      Read the following statements:
                      (i) Air pollution kills 4.6 million people every year in india.
(ii) Air pollution is causing health hazards to more people than water pollution.
                      (a) (i) is true and (ii) is false
                      (b) (i) is false and (ii) is true
                      (c) (i) is true and is responsible for (ii)
                      (d) Both (i) and (ii) are false.
Now, in the stanza 1 of passage, in the last line it is written "4.6 million people lose their lives every year around the globe" The last word : GLOBE and the first statement of question says every year in INDIA.
In the cbse answerkey, the answer is given option (a) which is evidently wrong as proved above. INDIA ≠ GLOBE.
The answer should be infact either option (b) or (d)!
                      Agree

CBSE should have like two correct answers for every question in this paper, only then we will have fair marking. The problem with this one was ki tricky toh maths ke bhi hote hai but they still have only one correct answer, in aaj ka paper on the other hand there was one correct option per question but there was no reason as to why the other ones were incorrect. In most of the questions, there was literally no reason why another option shouldn't be considered right. This ### is gonna be considered as the toughest English paper in the history of CBSE, on god.

So It is good for both students and CBSE board to reconduct exam
                            ...

My Set No. Is 4, code: 001/1/4. As per me and my teachers, the answer to question 46 should be (b) and not (a) because showing concern does not mean playing a role. Somebody plays a role in someone's life my doing an action, by taking a step. Sado's father, just by showing concern did not play a role in his life but by sending him to America, he did. This is very obvious because a person plays a role when he does something. Simply by being concerned, nobody makes a difference. After all, "action speaks louder than words." Concern isn't enough to play a role, to make a difference, action is essential.

My Set No. Is 4, code: 001/1/4. As per me and my teachers, the answer to question 37 should be (c) and not (b) because embarrassment makes a person feel sorry for what he/she has done/said. Feeling Uncomfortable is more related with uneasiness. According to Google, the synonyms for embarrassment is not just 'uncomfortable' but 'upset' also and a person feels upset when he feels sorry. This justifies that both 'uncomfortable' and 'sorry' are the appropriate answers to this and hence board should give marks to both the options.

Hello, myself Yash Rautela currently in class 12th.
As today 3 Dec, was the paper of English Core Term 1 class 12th students. Actually when I checked the answer key of my question paper 001/1/4. I found that some of my answers r correct in context of the chapter but in answer key wrong answers are given according to me. I can give few examples like in 23 a should be the answer, but b is given. In 34 I'm sure that d should be the answer and also in 37, 49. So that our result do not constitute any question in which we have done right but in answer key it's wrong.
I[censored] could look into it, it will be a pleasure for me.
                                    Regards

Sir, This is to bring your attention towards ongoing board exam.Schools having home centres are giving so many favours for their students.Teachers are filling OMR sheets for their students. Schools tell the students to leave the box blank and teachers fill the boxes after the exam.At the time of evaluation also teachers write or overwrite the correct answer.sir, this is not acceptable in any way.and is unfairl for those who have board center. So please take necessary steps to stop these activities. Ensure proper conduct of examination.
