My father is admitted in CCU, as advised by Nurses I have to stay back in the hospital at night. But I did not find proper waiting room. Security persons froced me to seat under a shade. But too much mosquitoes are there. So I have to keep standing whole night.
If this is the facility, I am afraid people gradually find this place unhealthy and uncooperative.

CMC, Vellore A Ward receptionist SUJATHA T.K. was delaying so much after we already booked and paid a room for patient at A Ward. She does not pay attention to us when we asked for admission to the booked room at A Ward. We are very upset with her mistreatment against us. We wish that such irresponsible mistreatment do not occur against any patient at CMC.

We will be happy and appreciated such bad things are avoided in the future and Sujatha the receptionist be disciplined accordingly.

We are giving regular mess fees but still they are not providing us good food. Moreover they have made mess food compulsory for first year students even though it is not at all eatable. We request you to look into it. Kindly change the mess company.

I have paid rs 170 for my final medical report from cardio3 on 28.05.22. I requested secretary to send my report on my e mail [protected]@gmail.com and he agreed to send by 30.05.22 but I have not received the report till date. I have sent two/ three mail and also tried to contact over phone but getting no response.

On 10th May, I visited ENT 5 for a follow-up and was assigned room number 11. My token number was 2 and even after waiting for over 2 hours, I was not called. When I went to the room to enquire about the cause of the delay, the doctor (Dr Elveena - wearing pink scrubs, different from what other doctors on that floor were wearing.) was sitting freely on her laptop.
She saw my token and shouted, "You have already seen a doctor. Why have you come now?", even though I had been waiting for a long time outside to see a doctor.
Finally, when Dr Elveena called me, she did not refer to the CMC patient records or the results of tests done. She did not listen to my complaints properly and proceeded to ask questions related to my educational background which was unrelated to my condition. Dr Elveena gave her own new diagnosis and told to perform X-rays and tests that were already done recently. When I told her that all these had been done and that the results were in the records, she prescribed new medications. I asked her if it will work Dr Elveena told me that she doesn't know and that this medication is a trial and error to treat the symptoms. Dr Elveena wrote down blood tests which she herself told were "not necessary and expensive". When I refused those tests, she opened the patient records, deleted the previous diagnosis, wrote her own new diagnosis and typed in the bold letters "PATIENT NOT WILLING".
When I asked Dr Elveena about the prognosis, she said with a cold shoulder attitude that she doesn't know.

Our suggesion is to provide seasonal food and healthy drinks to avoid seasonal diseases.
Please provide parental care and love.since our children are strictly to be residential in your college . Please give enough time to have breakfast at every morning. Most of the students are not properly having morning breakfast regularly.
Because of this they become very tired throughout the days.
Then how come they show concentration on their studies and daily activities?

Dear Sir/Mam,

We had come with great hope in CMC vellore, my 20 years old ward got admitted in CMC on[protected]Patient ID-715110P) in room M3, he was diagnosed with neurocysticercosis, but after the entire treatment, doctors withheld the patient for 3 days with no reason, we had requested several times that if the treatment is over please discharge us but with malicious intention the patient was kept on hold. This 3 days extra was not considered by the insurance company, very obviously, and we donot understand and condemn the same. We are being pressurised to give Rs.30540/- for the forced stay and delay in discharge process by the hospital. Why shall we pay the extra 3 days stay payment when we were forced to stay back, abused and no food or support was provided by the hospital??? This is unethical as there are more patients who require to be admitted but the seats were blocked to mint money. This concludes that the status held by CMC is fake, it doesnot give priority to its patients and believe in God's work but rather to make money by fooling people. Kindly solve the problem. We are TPA holders at Royal Sundaram with PHS Id : 32956863. Convince my TPA to pay the money, if my insurance company is not convinced why and how shall we be compelled to pay the amount. This must be registered in the Medical Council of India. Patients must not be treated to mint money and apply malicious means to force, humiliate and mint money. Request prompt actions as we are still captivated in the hospital with rude behaviour and demand to pay money.

This hospital's neurology staff (N2W) says to me at 5.30pm that your patience is released on today, i am still waiting from that time now the time is 10.10 pm but they can't release my patient, and they say to me wait, doctor cannot give the summary.
Sir say is 11.00 pm is the paitents release time ?

Doctors from hematology Dr.shalini behaves very rude with patients. Even not consider about age. She should know first how to approach and talk with patients. Thats is more important for patients than treatment. People are seeing doctors as a god. They come with serious health problems. If patients receive care and kind words from doctors they will get confidence about health. words from the doctor is more important than treatment. I am a government employee doing as a scientist. I came with a patient for help. On that time I had a chance to how doctors behaving patients. Sorry to say this... Very worst.

Hi Team,
This is to inform you that I had an appointment on 28th March 2022 on Clinic ENDOCRINOLOGY with Consultant Dr NIHAL THOMAS and ask to pay RS 900 as consultation fees and I have been asked to wait from 12.30 PM to 6.30 PM and later the office number 810 informed me that Dr is not available today and asked to go to room number 11 in same department and consult with a junior Dr I was not aware of his name also Dr did not check me properly and he has not given me any medicine also but rather he has given me a Test for RS 6800 and he has given the test over there online system so I was not aware also what are the test given to me think this is quite normal that Dr should inform the patient the test name he is giving for the investigation.
I would like to know if I am not able to Consultant whom I have chose and paid for how can you gave investigation test of rs 6800 to patient this is totally not acceptable from a brand hospital like Christian Medical College Hospital

Harassment in the name of treatment.

My name is Jabed. I came to cmc vellore for treatment from Bangladesh on 08/03/2022. After completing all the formalities, I saw the doctor on 09/03/2022, the doctor gave me many tests and forwarded it to another doctor. Another doctor saw me on 11/03/2022, he also saw me hand over the test paper and after receiving the report prescribed medicine. My problem is getting worse with medication. When I told this to the doctor, he told me to come back after 3 months. (Will I survive these three months, body condition is much worse).

I was admitted to the first emergency on 18/03/2022, as soon as I was admitted I was asked to test, I deposited all the test money and did the test. But before receiving the report, I was discharged. (What kind of medical system)

16/03/2022 I again showed him my 2nd doctor, when I told him he told me to come after 3 months, and he prescribed medicine for 1180 / - rupees. My condition worsened after taking the medicine. When I was admitted to the emergency room again in a bad condition, I was sent back without any treatment.
Gives me pain injections.

When the pain subsided I came home. The next day a lot of pain again, I was admitted to the emergency again. Now sitting down with a test of a few thousand rupees, I test again. But it discharges me without any improvement. My father was not born with such a lack of medical care.

You may not have heard my cry or you may not have time to listen. The Lord will never give them shade.
You do something for my malpractice.

My grandmother admitted in cmc Ortho 3 Q2 ward for Operation.Her name is Eswari as it is in every documents.But her pet name is Mary.she gave her name Mary in hospital.Her husband insurance is there but they are not ready to accept that insurance amount because she appointed Mary name.kindly do this insurance claim related issues As soon as possible.

We are here in cmc for 5 days for ky 1 year old baby. We are from kanniya Kumari. We thought cmc is the best place for treatment. Ofcourse doctors are very good and treatments are good but the behaviour of normal staff here is too worst. Dont know whether they have parents and children. If so they wont behave so. More over we had many bad experience here, even in eeg department where one staff called shreya was behaving little harsh to me and my child. But she is behaving well with north people. If this is the case, christian medical college who serve in the name of god is just for a name sake. Teach behavior to your normal staff first before appoinment. When ever they het a children in this situation and parents too in this situation they will understand the pain

Only hire some nunber of people to specify a day, you hire more peoples in particular timing eg: scanning, billing places, etc.

My patient (Hospital No. 952711-D) came to this CMC Vellore hospital on 9th Feb-2022 as a follow up and had an OPD in Cardio Vascular department and was asked for an surgery as soon as possible as he is diagnosed "Aortic Aneurysm", post Bicuspid Aortic Valve Replacement. He was asked from hospital to arrange 3 bottles of blood, required for the surgery, to start the admission process. He was told to arrange at least 2 bottles of blood by Friday 11th Feb-2022 and go for RTPCR test by Friday, so that he can be admitted by Saturday. On Friday, 11 we have donated the required blood and he went for RTPCR test, that's where the harassments started. The dept. said it can't be done today and disregarded Doctor's advice. He as asked to come on Monday 14th, as Saturday and Sunday they will not do. On Monday 14th he went for RTPCR, again they said today not possible, come next or next week. This is absurd harassment by the hospital administration. A heart patient coming all the way from Kolkata is being under such heart condition and being treated like this, his situation will be worse. My request is to kindly sort this out and don't harrase patients like this. People are not coming here for entertainment, it's a critical situation people travel so much and come here for treatment. Little delay is fine, but not such an harassment.

O4 east ward room no 13 rest room is worst. Toilet seat cover colour turned yellow and tap rust for long time without unattended.

I Informed ward sister and she was so rude in answering me, she also refused to change the room. Kindly do the needful.
