[Resolved] Louis Quartz wrist watch — duplicate watches | |
Hi, I recieved a pamphlet with my recent credit card statement of AVA Merchandising offering Louis Wrist watch free for Citibank Credit Card holders, just Rs. 490 charges. I ordered that watch and recieved, and got an international guarantee card of 1 year but card does not contain any serial no. of watch, date of sale, etc. and also the watch, battery are duplicate. I also got a watch of the same type. but there is no supporting documents enclosed with the package. i do'nt know what would happen

I think we should go to consumer court against such fraud offers so that in future no other companies think to offer such free gifts.

Oh man... this forum saved me. I recd. my CC statement from HDFC and they are offereing this watch for FREE, IF you buy any of their shoppin deals. Quite tempted, I almost decided to get the deal and fortunate enough... i found this forum... thanks guys... I will ensure to add in my complaints, and see if it helps others... Thank you.

I have got an offer for free Louis Quartz watch. i am asked to pay the handling charges of Rs 495. But after reading all these compaints about a duplicate watch. i am bit disheartened. i dont know whether i should go for it or not.

Yes. I also got the same offer with jet lite. We should file some complaint with Govt Authorities.
I also got the same offer for Louis Quartz Wrist Watch from Jet Lite. Thanks for guiding me about these frauds. Now I'm not going to spend Rs 500/- for a fake watch. Jet Lite is just their image by giving this type of products.
I faced a similiar type of issue.Ijust got the watch, so to check about it look & it bout the complains .so please do the need ful action against it.
