[Resolved] Louis Quartz wrist watch — Running late approximately daily one minute | |
Dear sir/madam, I got watch through my citi bank credit card offer from AVA Merchandising Company of New Delhi in DEC 2007.which is the product of louis quartz, and i am also having international guarantee card of 1 year. That card does not contain any serial no. of watch, date of sale and service center.and also it does not have any email id or website or any contact number. After one month of getting this watch, i marked that it s running slow and 5 mins late to correct time. that battery is also duplicate one. Please give me suggestion, what i have do right now. This is surprizing to have somebody so courageous to cheat so many people with eyes wide open. I feel the credit cards should not support such offers and legal acton should be taken against these. I have also received this offer throgh SBI CC but with a tag of Rs 590. I also feel that credit cards are acting like agents for insurance [like royal sundaram] and AVA merchandise and also loosing their credibility.
I also have received such an offer today (Tue.15/10/'08), but thanks to your complaint, have been warned. I've been saved, Otherwise i would've been shaved.
I got the same watch from the scratch card got through my Bank of India offer, i was also charged Rs.590/- on my SBI credit card as freight. after getting the watch i find it totally duplicate, the cover is local, the gurantee card has not date, part number for any info.

I got this offer for Rs. 590 from ICICI Bank Credit Card with monthly statement. Thanks for your complaint... I am saved. The bottom line is NOTHING IS FREE in this world...

Thanks to these people and their complain 4 warning me .although i also won this watch during travelling through jet lite .

It appears that Jetlite is actively involved in such frauds perpetrated on the passengers flying with them because their flight attendants are distributing AVA Merchandising pamphlets during the flight.
on 25-09-09 i won the same watch in jet lite flight and didn't get the chance of geting the same
on
that day and today also
