[Resolved]  Air Deccan — Cancelled ticket got voucher for same sector but then that sector was not available so asked for refund.

Evening Consumer Complaints addressals,
I have booked an Air ticket through Ezeego1 for Air Deccan on 4th Jan 2008 and cancelled on the very same day for DEL to KOL which was scheduled on 8th Jan 2008, and I have cancelled the ticket and asked for the refund from Ezeego1 they told me I should enquire from Air Deccan and talked with Air Deccan and asked for refund, they said no refund can be given ( whereas it should be given) they gave me a voucher no for the same passenger for same sector, and after month I went on Air Deccan website and tried to booked the ticket again but this time the Delhi Kolkatta sector was not available, i called up Air deccan for replacement of the voucher and credit that back in to my account, and even mailed them up but nothing came up and since april 08 i have been trying to get my refunds back, which has caused me money on my telephone bills and telling each and every one about my story again and again.

In end i mailed up Mr Eshwar Singh Refunds Manager in Banglore office but nothing came back from them as well. Now the voucher has expired and i am in continously ringing AIr Deccan Spoke with the Customer redressal officer and I was told that my voucher has been credited back on 13th of August 2008. to Ezeego called up Easygo1 but still the same story.
I think this will make me crazy and my refund for my hard cash money will go in vain.

Sir, No body is responding to my complaints.Air deccan flight was cancelled on 16th July from Aizol to Kolkata.The concerning person at Aizol airport promissed to return the money to bookin agent. But I have not received my money back.My agent says it is very difficult to take money back from Air deccan.Is it so? are you so unreliable? I dont agree.and request you rto return back my money and a line of reply.

i read ur complaint, i have the same problem with air deccan, i booked the ticket on 20/01/2008 and cancelled it on the same day and got the voucher from air deccan, so whenever i wanted to use this voucher i was answered that the sector is closed now so choose another sector, , so anybody how can think to go anywhere where he or she actually wanted to go??? although i tried too many times for some other sectors, , they always answered that the sector is closed, , now today i tried to book it they replied ur voucher is expired, , so what to do now?? what about the money which each and every customer like me is paying before getting the ticket ?????????? i would like to give some other information

Air Deccan — refunds not made for cancellation of air tickets for more than 2 months

I had taken tickets for travelling to bangalore and back on 20/07/2008 by Air Deccan. Due to unavoidable reasons, I had to cancel the same on 18/07/2008. The cancellation was done by Phone by me.The same was confirmed by mail by the air deccan officer Mr. Somsekar that the refunds will be processed within 14 days. It is more than 2 months that I have not received the refunds for the same. This issue is to be taken up.Kindly suggest me the appropriate way of handling the same.

airdeccan ticket — refund of ticket for cancelled flight

air deccan flight from New Delhi to Dehradun got cancelled on 27/8/08. At air deccan counter, I was told that refund money would be transfered to my credit card within 14 working days. But till today even after completion of 22 days, refund has not be send.

Airdeccan — No refunds received even after 60 days

I cancelled a group booking and an individual refundable air deccan ticket two days before the actual date of travel. At the time of cancellation I was told that within a maximum of 14 days the refund will be credited back to my account. After waiting for two weeks time, I called up the airdeccan atleast 10 times. Everytime I call, they have given a new expected date of refund and says that the request is once again forwarded to the finance department and its still in processing.

Kindly help me.

Air Deccan — Refund Cases

I booked the Air Deccan tickets in the month July 2008 which were canceled in due time but stiil I am awaiting for the refund. As soon as you press refund menu while calling your call will be put on hold for nearly half an hour than the executive on the pretext of checking your details will again put you on hold. This happened with me 15 times whenever I called up their customer care number. I have promised myself never to travel with this airline and advise others also the same. They just want to ignore the refund cases. India should never allow such type of airlines to operate who are having financial problems.
I agree. I have cancelled Air Deccan flight where I was told it will be credited into Barclays Yatra.com card within 15 days. It is 4 months now!!! Repeated calls, new excuse everytime.
Can anyone tell me the Customer care number of Air deccan-Delhi ?

Air Deccan — Refund not rolled back

I had an air deccan ticket booked from Delhi to Leh o which I had to cancel. I was given a new ticket no 6495878 on 27 may 2008 withassurance that Rs 6898 out of the ticket value of Rs 7898 will be rolled back to my credit card acount. Despite my several reminders it has not been done till now.. it is jan 2009 now.
Can any one help me get my refund?
