[Resolved] Airtel — Unlawful threat from Airtel. | |||
I am having Airtel Mobile No. [protected] since long period and paid Rs. 999/- in the year 2004 and got life time free incoming facility. Though the validity was initially shown as 24/11/2024, the balance enquiry show the validity to be only uptoNov.'14. On today, suddenly an SMS has been served to me by AK- Airtel which reads " Ur Airtel Service will STOP TODAY if we don't receive ur proof of address ID & Passport Photo & Form. Submit now for uninterrupted services and get Rs. 10/- FREE TALKTIME." This is an insult to a retired Central Government Officer. No Advance Notice was issued. A few weeks back the Airtell representative talked to me and took my residential address on this phone and never told me to give such details with application Form. Presently I am Bed ridden with high BP and this SMS is a shock to me. I shall not be able to move out for next 10 days. My Address is 33/1 A, Ramdhan Ghosh Lane, P.O. Central Govt. Retired — Passport not received
Dear Sir,I Mr. SANATAN MONDAL, a resident of Tehatta, Nadia, have applied for my passport on 30-April-2009 vide File Reference Number : CAL-A[protected] at Regional Passport Office, Kolkata.
After 15 days of waiting from the date of application, I visited the DIP Office, Tehatta police station, which is my local police station every tuesday to enquire about my passport veriification, but the answer I got everytime in response to the enquiry is "WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR PASSPORT APPLICATION YET. WE WILL SEND ENQUIRY TO YOUR RESIDENCE ONCE WE RECEIVE IT."
The status online was showing "Police Report has not been received." This story continued for 3 months.After almost 3 months of waiting, I lodged my first online complaint via e-mail to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in on[protected] against which I never got a reply and then I lodged my second complaint on 10-Aug-2009, the reply to which says that "Police verification report from concern police authority is incomplete. Please submit personal particulars form for reverification."
The last updated online status by then i.e. as on[protected] says that "Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined".
I don't understand as to why should I again submit the PP form when I myself have submitted the completely filled fresh application form with all the relevent documents mentioned in the form. The RPO Kolkata officials have themselves scrutinized all my original supporting documents, took the payment of Rs1000.00 and have issued me the receit cum acknowledgement towards it.
Well, as I cannot afford to wait any longer, inspite of all these harassment, I have once again decided to make a second visit to RPO, Kolkata tommorrow for resubmission of the PP Form, however this time it would be my earnest request to you, to not to harass me anymore and issue me my passport as early as possible.
Your prompt action would be highly appreciated.
