I have applied for portability of my mobile no [protected] since last three months under the family plan but the number is still not ported and airtel is generating monthly bills without strating my number in that family plan. It is really disgusting and Shameful for airtel department.

I have sent multiple request to cancel my airtel number ([protected]) an there's no response. I haven't used the service since three months as I was abroad and I still keep receiving the bill and I have no idea of what is happening. I got a call today regarding this issue and also the lady who called said that my other number will be disconnected if i dont pay for what i have not used for.
This is not right. I will be paying for what I have used and the rest three months even though I requested for cancellation there was no response.
Please do the needful.

I tried to pay my postpaid bill through http://www.airtel.in/.
I want to know the reason behind saving the debit and credit card details in http://www.airtel.in/ portal in the payment page. Usually in all websites(portals) they will ask the customer conformation to save the card details but in http://www.airtel.in/ they have made it default feature to save the customer card details. For your reference please see the attachment.
I tried to call the customer care there response is here. They said it is mandatory that we have to store the card details before the payment. then later we have go to manage cards from there we have to delete the card details. What is the logic behind this? what if in case i forgot to delete the card details? Why you are storing the card details without customer confirmation(Don't you think your cheating customer by saving card details by default. I mean without customer confirmation )?
